Hey fellow writers, do you ever get writing lag? Like when you’re so IN a story you’re working on mentally that you have to ground yourself in the real world when you get to the end of the scene? I just had to do that (walked the dog and ate some leftovers...). And it’s because I just wrote a scene for a fic I’m SO excited to share with the Reylo fandom!

The first two chapters of my Smuggler Ben and Scavenger Rey AU are up! I’ve been working on this for ages, and I’m so excited to share it with the fandom. There’s lots of plot, lots of snark, and a very confused dyad in the Force. 

Palpatine is really dead, Ben was never Kylo Ren, and things are complicated for the Solo Organa family in new and different ways.  

Also, if you like Star Wars: Rebels... I’ve got some fun stuff planned with the crew of the Ghost for future chapters/arcs.

Chapter Summary: Getting off the moon is harder than expected, and it's going to take teamwork to keep the enemy off the Falcon's tail. Ben does some fancy flying, and Rey throws some big rocks at just the right time.

Honestly, I had SO MUCH fun writing this chapter. I’ve never gotten to write an aerial fight before, and I loved figuring out how to make it work and develop relationships and characters at the same time. Hope you enjoy!
