I’ll pick 5 songs that have been played the most in the past year or so in particular, and as a challenge I won’t use anything from AFI/Blaqk Audio/DREAMCAR lol

1. “Toxic Eye” - Choir Boy

I found Choir Boy sometime last year, and maybe it’s the YouTube algorithms that keep giving me the music video for “Toxic Eye” again and again, but I can’t help but get this one stuck in my head. The “ba da daa, ba da daa da daaaa”’s are so delightful, and the atmosphere of a Choir Boy song is just so cozy.

2. “Napoleon” - Riki

Similar to Choir Boy its catchiness (“woah-oh oh, Napoleon”), just some simple synthpop goodness that makes you wanna dance.

3. “Mirror’s Image” - Rosegarden Funeral Party

RFP is a group I only found earlier this year, but I’ve fallen in love with their brand of Siouxsie-inspired goth rock. Their videos are aesthetically pleasing, and their songs have some gorgeous emotional vocals. I could have also went with “Gates of Heaven” or “Martyr” here, but “Mirror’s Image” just especially resonates with me.

4. PUP - “Full Blown Meltdown”

A friend of mine got me to listen to PUP a few months ago, and I especially enjoyed the Morbid Stuff album. This song in particular has a ton of energy, but I have to share it for another reason too…I’m pretty sure there’s a reference to AFI’s “The Great Disappointment” in it??? Listen to the guitar at 1:26 and tell me that’s not a reference to the part in TGD that goes “inside a crumbling effigy, but you promised”???!??

5. “Secrets (Your Fire)” - Magdalena Bay

Magdalena Bay’s Mercurial World album is fantastic and has some great tracks, but this one gets me even more because of its sublime music video. It’s like all of the old tech cheesy-ness that I love about Blaqk Audio’s “Anointed” video, but with late 90’s Internet aesthetics. It’s so much fun and such a visual treat.

Except DoctorxHunter, I don’t have a lot of different relationships repeating themselves among my AUs

But here are my lists!

I’d say:

For my ‘Regular AU’ which is trying to stick to the game’s canon, I’m slowly making the ‘DocxHunter’ less present for canon reason, it’s still implied but from now on, if I had to draw/write big romances between Doc and Hunter, I’ll try to make that in other AUs for avoiding being too ‘out of characters’.

Aside this ship, I like to think the relation between Roger and the first chef is serious and canon, thanks to the LN twitter account xD

For the Disaster Family AU, DxH is implied but not fully developed.

There’s no shipping between them in the Caterpidoc AU for obvious reasons: Doc is genuinely a threat and Hunter hates him. But I’d say Hunter has some kind of a crush on the Ferryman (it’s not mutual).

Mafia AU is not a serious story, I think I just use that for projecting myself on Hunter just for simping over Doc xD

And for the Coffee Shop AU…

For the ship I don’t enjoy:

I’d just say I don’t like the ship between Six and Mono because it sounds too ‘obvious’ or cliché, I just prefer imagining they are best friends who are doing their best for surviving in a really creepy world! Having children facing big monsters together is a story trope I really love and adding romance in that just feels out of place or just cliché to me.

For the most famous ship which is Thin ManxLady:

I’d say I have difficulties for understanding this shipping since none of the characters are really linked (I consider Six being different from the Lady) BUT as someone who ships Doc and Hunter LOL, I don’t have the right to say anything xDD Also, the fandom managed to create funny dynamics between them so I find the content enjoyable!

All the while, Cai recorded everything on her own phone.

He glances up at the phone once she finally clicks the publish button- and seems even more excited- if that were even possible- and his eyes go a little bit wide. "H-Hey," He mutters, as he smiles up at her and her sister in front of him. He's still in her lap, the smile growing on his face once he sees the message that she put on it- though it does look as though he's a little bit too shy to say anything else about it.

Cai just pokes her tongue out to Heeseung as Darling begins to create another post. "Wait!" Kyler speaks up, causing Darling to stop mid-selection of photos, "It may be slightly chaotic but the last 10 photos should be posted on ENHYPEN'S accounts."

He watches as Cai poks her tongue out at him, before he turns his attention back towards Darling as she begins to create another post- after all, she's the one in charge of it. But, he listens in, when he hears Kyler speak up. He seems a little confused by this, but he nods his head. "Oh. Mmn...yeah...sure..." he murmurs in response. He seems a little bit curious about why they need to be on ENHYPEN's account, but he keeps quiet. "Okay."

But Darling seems to understand where Kyler is going with this. "Otherwise, it gives others to rebute the relationship," she concludes. "Exactly," Kyler nods, turning to address the rest of the members in Korean, "걱정 마세요, 저가 피해 복구에 도움을 줄게요."

He nods his head, once Darling says this. It seems that she really knows what she's doing- which, he's very grateful for. Also, it made the whole process of this a lot less scary for a guy like him. When Kyler starts to address the rest of the members in Korean, he just looks over at Darling- wondering if she's translating what her friend just said. His eyes keep on her as she's translating. Once she's finished, he nods his head- as much as he's excited about it, he's mostly just happy to see her smile at this.

(Is Heeseung so mindnumb he can't understand his own language, yet can understand English?) "Uh, English?" Cai inquiries, still recording everything, as she voices Heeseung's request. "Kyler is going to help with the potential fallout of these photos being posted on ENHYPEN'S Social Media Accounts," Darling answers, smiling down at Heeseung in her lap, "She'll make it impossible for anyone to dismiss our relationship."

(Yup lmao) "Okay..." He responds once Darling translates fo him -in English. But, as she continues on to translate what Kyler said- as she continues on to explain his role- Heeseung can't help but let out yet another little hum, as he gently wraps his arms around her waist again, his fingers interlocking. He's just completely wrapped up in her right now- both, physically and emotionally. And he's loving every single second of it. "Mmmn..."

When he's so far gone, he can't understand his own language anymore 💀
