M: Haha! Boom, what a lap! Great job quys, that was a good return from the holidays
CH: Well done Max! That was a mighty lap, mighty lap in those conditions. Well done mate
GP: Well done [???]
just witnessed an older couple in the grandstands (one in a ferrari shirt, the other in a red bull shirt) share a lovely post race smooch - is this lestappen crumbs?
So this is the second time I've been to the Dutch GP and just like last year the atmosphere was amazing.
It's actually so sad that Max fans often get painted in such a bad light, because both of my experiences at Zandvoort have been so positive. Like last year every driver got cheered, no boo's. Even though at least 90% of the people there are Max fans, every driver got cheered and respected. Even Hamilton got applause.
Fans of different teams got along perfectly fine. I even pretty often saw someone with Max merch together at the GP with someone with Merc merch. Two girls on my stand, a Max fan and a Hamilton fan, actually asked me to take a picture of them together. It was kinda cute, cause the Hamilton fan was actually dancing and singing along to Super Max and no one on our stand seemed to have a problem with her cheering loudly for Hamilton. Most just seemed to think it was funny.
Everyone around me was just happy, singing, dancing and cheering. Even through the heavy rain.
I for one feel proud to be part of the Orange Army.
You have no idea of the grip that you will find in Turn 1 braking, or Turn 3. So, I thought everyone will be a little bit cautious in Turn 3 with the grip level, and also just outside Turn 3 there is paint in the Aramco, so you have to be a little bit cautious there. So I thought about the inside line, it could work and yeah, we overtook those two cars. Definitely, that should be the overtake of the month, again. I hope.
