BOOK #1
first post!
Book rec!
Name: When I Am With You
Author: Durjoy Datta
Genres: romance novel, fiction, contemporary romance
Trigger warnings: mention of violence, childhood trauma, death(abortion). Mature content.(contains adult scenes in some chapters.)
Summary: Aishwarya, at twenty-eight years old, wants to be a single mother rather than fit into a traditional family structure. It’s not that she hasn’t tried but just so far it hasn’t seemed to work for her. Smart, highly intelligent, and equally ambitious, she has her eyes on two goals, both of which she wants to achieve at all costs. Her new start-up venture is all about revolutionizing the way young working women have their childcare needs taken care of.
As much as she loves children, she is also passionate about cricket and has been hoping that her ex-boyfriend Akshay would be able to offer some help or assistance to her. He is just the perfect man for the job. But her only qualm – Akshay doesn’t seem interested in any of this. At least, not yet.
Enter Dhiren who takes up the 1st floor of Aishwarya’s building. He is hiding from his past and prefers to stay that way. He has also made a lot of money in cryptocurrency and lost it. A chance coincidence forces them to work closely with each other until a dreadful accident ruins everything that they have done so far.
Then there is also the question of Aishwarya’s two best friends who constantly warn her against Dhiren. They have a hunch that he is hiding something and when things begin to take an unexpected turn, they all are headed toward a disaster.
The only thing that can possibly save them is the thing that none of them want – love.
Came out: August 2022.

He's obsessed with her body right now. She likes him like this—kissing every part of her like he's deriving life force from it.

"Till the Last Breath” by Durjoy Dutta is one of the best book I ever read. It's deeply heart touching, quite sensitive and gripping storyline will compel you to keep reading. It's one of the few books with a message at the end. It is a fiction that revolves around characters: Pihu, Dushyant, Armaan, Zarah and Kajal and the line of events that connects their dots together.
Dushyant Roy, the bad boy is well into drugs and alcohol but loves his girl-friend Kajal with all his heart, fights with death and the guilt of treating his ex-girlfriend wrong. Kajal, hailing from a well known rich family, is Dushyant’s ex-girlfriend. She was so concerned for him that how she immediately thought of donating her liver to him was equally wonderful inspite of their abusive relationship.
Pihu Malhotra, an intelligent medical student in one of the most reputed colleges, is an ever-smiling girl. But she is suffering from ALS, a slow- killer, which puts her on the hospital bed next to that of Dushyant. The wonderful, sweet and cute chemistry between Pihu and her Doctor Arman was quite amazing, their first kiss, first date on the roof top, also when he gifted her a pendant and a chain which was meant to be for his wife and which actually belonged to Arman's great grandmother.
Armaan and Zarah, two reputed doctors, fighting their own demons from the past, try everything to keep these two alive, risking even their medical licenses. While Zarah's growing love for her patient, Dushyant and Armaan's for Pihu was truly amazing. But still there are few questions which will be answered slowly while you read the book.
This heartwarming story about love, life and friendship will take you on a memorable journey and will make you realise what it means to be alive and how lucky you're. But if one knows the real meaning of love or can understand or feel the story from the core of the heart then this is going to surely make you cry... like I cried. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I'm not a feeling, but could I be felt?
Could I be felt like that head massage your mother gives you,
At the end of tiring day,
Or your favourite collection of songs,
That soothes you in every possible way.
Or what about that moment when you stare at me,
And find me staring back at you?
Could I be your guide in mountains?
And still be felt like the most beautiful view?
Could I be felt like the breeze on a hot summer day?
Or be the only favourite warm cuddle you crave, whenever you lay.
I really want all this,
Want to be felt like a good conversation.
Am I asking a lot, if I want to be your sky?
Could I be the feeling itself?
And be felt like the beauty with no hidden lies.
How I wish to be felt like the feeling of long walk with you?
Or to be your shadow?
And make you feel brew.
Oh boy!
I'm love, I'm peace,
I'm fire, I'm breeze,
I can feel, I can heal,
If nothing would work, I will be your relief.
You can call it another verse, filled with love,
Or just another moment, where I'm missing you so much.

Till the Last Breath _ A slow poisonous read which kicks in the value of our lives...
Tumblr media
What boosts our urge to live more than death? Till the Last Breath underlines this point. Read here the full review.
Durjoy Dutta's 'Till the Last Breath' is a heart wrenching portrayal of how hopeful someone's last moments can be. As the title indicates, the novel is a realistic narration of human's urge to live to the fullest till the last breath.
The melancholic novel revolves around a hospital room of two dying patients _ one is a cheerful girl in her teenage who values every breath she takes and the other one is a rude young man who threw away every possibility of his survival. They have nothing in common other than the predictable guestship of death.
The magic of the narration lies in the unfolding of different bonds within a single room. The author has beautifully captured every mild moment perfectly, whether it is hope, grief or despair. He just unwraps a bundle of emotions other than narrating some tragic incidents.
The way the characters hold on to every shred of their lives before they get taken away mumbles how valuable someone's life is. The author never casts them in a spell of magical romantic sequences, but lets them spill the overpowering of emotions like friendship, parenthood and self love. More than an emotional story, 'Till the Last Breath' is a mirror that reflects the characters' true selves at their atmost fragility.

📖 The Boy Who Loved(5 🌟) + The Boy With A Broken Heart(2 🌟) ✒️ @durjoydatta
The first romance book I read was that of Durjoy’s ‘Now That You’re Rich Let’s Fall in Love’. Since then I’ve fallen in love with his writings.
🦋Then I read this series! The first book left me with a broken heart . I felt every emotional stages while going through it. I loved that book so much that I had a hard time taking in it. That’s why it got 5 🌟🦋
🦋But then I read the second book with my expectations up. But it failed me the start was smooth but then it lost its charm and plot was twisted that I couldn’t just accept it. Everyone who read the second part after the first have the same opinion. 🦋
🦋I always thought if it hadn’t the second part it’d have been better. I prefer tragic endings than terrible plot!!🦋

The Perfect us" is yet another rollercoaster ride of Durjoy Datta. Unlike many folks from our small community of Indian book reviewers, I even have mostly enjoyed Durjoy Datta’s books. I never ought to read his initial books; those that shot him into fame and stardom but, I did read the most recent ones from his kitty including The Boy Who Loved and also the Girl of My Dreams. They delivered far above my expectations and as a result, I promptly added Durjoy Datta to my list of favorite contemporary Indian authors. Sadly, The Perfect Us failed to create equivalent magic for me. By the time I was done reading the book, I wasn’t very satisfied with what I had just finished reading. The Perfect Us is a contemporary fiction that doesn't deliver what it promises. If you consider the blurb then read the book, you'd know exactly what I mean. The blurb paints a picture that's entirely different from what the story is all about. The story is of a married couple eager to take the next leap forward in their lives i.e. getting pregnant and having kids. It talks about the problems and struggles which would-be parents face. It also talks about the inevitable changes that penetrate a marriage/relationship that has lasted 10 long years. Pick up the book if- If you're a Durjoy Datta fan. If you prefer contemporary reads. If you're searching for something apart from much clichéd college and office romances. If you wish to get a glimpse of life after marriage. If you want to understand the struggles of parenthood – right from making babies to raising them. Skip the book if- If you're searching for a book that may blow your mind. If you're searching for a really entertaining read. If you're searching for some serious Indian literature. ______________________________ #bookstagramindia #bookrecommendations #bookblogger #bookreviewer #review #perfectus #durjoydatta #bookishcontent #bookworm #infusingwithsres #sres_stories #booksphotography #coffeephotography #bookflatlay #booksbooksbooks #bibliliophile #wordswithqueens #booklove #booksuggestions #bookobsessed #booksforlife #bookstagrammer #bookgeek #book #booksofinstagram #instagramblogger #instagramwriters #feelinggood (at 𝒦𝑜𝓁𝓀𝒶𝓉𝒶 - 𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝒾𝓉𝓎 𝒪𝒻 𝒥𝑜𝓎) https://www.instagram.com/p/CK5pLvFl3JZ/?igshid=1hwqz5oowjc6l

Book Review by Ranit Banerjee The book Wish I could tell you is written by Durjoy Datta. "Can you find yourself after you have lost that special someone?" "Wish I could tell you" is a book that has romance as its very core but one that has a lot more to offer than just a regular cliché romance. The book narrates a powerful story in very simple language which is packed by intense emotions, strong characters, unexpected twists and a deep captivating story of unrelenting love. Anusha is a woman who is looking for a story. She wants to write but she still hasn't found a proper character. Struggling to cope with her feelings and the job of raising money for the charity, She reluctantly searches for a worthwhile cause to support at Wedonate.com . On the opposite side, Ananth believes in all things good and he manages to find that good in everyone he comes across. He finds himself joining Wedonate.com. As you will read, at your subconscious mind you will try to understand what is really happening here. The ending twist is really unexpected and beautifully unveiled. The book has a story that stays with you long after you are done reading it. It will make you want to believe in the power of love. This story will awaken your sense of empathy. This love story is a different one and much needed by the world. If you are a Durjoy fan or you want to read a different type of romantic novel that spreads light on burning social issues, subtle moral lessons and a different meaning of love, "Wish I could tell you" will be your one of the best choices. #ridlabclassics #bookstagram #bookblogger #reading #review #bookreview #book #durjoydatta #wishicouldtellyou #bookblog #blogging https://www.instagram.com/p/CI3AP-0hPUL/?igshid=jb80ox3vji1k

Isn't life like a supermarket? There are a lot of choices. Many people come and go. But you select only the special one to walk down the aisle with. ~ @shradha_oberoi26 🦄🦄🦄 Pocketful O' Stories 2.0 is a book of microtales in collaboration with Durjoy Datta. The theme of the year is #LOVEIMPROMPTWO and have tales submitted by various people while also including a few from Durjoy Datta himself. The stories are short, romantic and most have a surprise ending. It's a wonderful, light read, romantic, hilarious book which will definitely lift up your spirits. It's amazing how people can write beautiful stories in just 1-2 lines. 🦄🦄🦄 Congratulations to all who got featured and keep up the good work. Rated 10/10.
