This is the pettiest of complaints but.

I'm in this Facebook group called "Maximalist Design and Decor" but I swear to God, 98% of the people in this group think the only thing you need to be considered "maximalist" is loud wallpaper. Bruh, where are your COLLECTIONS, where are the walls that are so full of art that you don't notice the color of the paint underneath? One bold statement piece does not a maximalist room make.

But also! I should be able to run that much! I have the foundation! I am not a new baby runner and it is not that much more than I have run in that timespan before! And I did it mostly slow and I did it mostly on trail and I ate so much and slept so much! I should be allowed to run that much!

My moms such a hypocrite it’s unreal

The last time I saw my ex best friend (not the one I fell in love w the one before her) was at target and I could feel said friend and her moms presence before I even saw them. I had control of the cart and so I moved back through the clothes section while my parents made eye contact and got roped in w my ex friends mothers convo (she was and still is a chatterbox)

Because Ik I wouldn’t be able be nice around them after the shitty way she treated me I did the ADULT thing and stayed away. And then my parents gave me shit for not talking to her.

Yet today my mom and I were w the women of my moms side watching a movie when my gma ran into my moms ex best friend and being my gma had a long convo w her. And my mom tried to avoid them but we didn’t even know what was going on so we didn’t hear my mom trying to get us to SNEAK OUT of the theater lobby. Then when she was essentially FORCED to be near them she had her back to them the entire time!!!

Like. She gave me crap just for her to do something that imo is a step ruder

Sometimes I wish we would start calling out the performative radicalism on this site for the poser bullshit it is. "Remember, it's always morally correct to kill a cop!" "Don't forget to firebomb your local government office!" "Wow, it sure would be a shame if these instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail got spread around!"

Okay. But you're not killing cops or firebombing government offices. You are posting on a dying microblogging website to a carefully-curated echo chamber that has radicalized itself into thinking that taking the absolute most extreme position on any subject is praxis but that anyone discussing the most practical way to effect actual change is your sworn enemy. You do not have the street cred OR the activist cred to be talking about killing cops, babe.
