Daniel Arsham: 'Wall Excavation' (2016)

This piece was created for a 300-foot long gallery at the Savannah College of Art and Design. A tunnel was formed through holes in repeated faux-concrete walls that gradually transform from the shape of a square into the shape of a figure. The installation was immersive, containing additional works within the "galleries" formed by the new walls.
