After Sans won the Tumblr Sexyman poll over on Twitter, somebody made one for the Undertale AUs. I’m one of the options, which makes sense considering how popular my home universe is.

The thing is, there’s been pretty much no conversation about any of the votes EXCEPT for the ones involving me, and it’s definitely strange seeing all of this from a fictionkin perspective.

I know I’m popular in the fandom and that a lot of people find me attractive, but this is definitely a lot more than I ever expected to see. Like, #nightmaresweep is actually a tag now and I see people on my following page kinda arguing over who’s better/hotter, me or Cross (that’s the current vote at the time of typing this), and I don’t know how to feel.

On one hand, it’s nice to know people like me (even if they don’t know that I’m, well, me) considering how hated I was by the multiverse back then and how I’m seen as weird now, but its still strange, especially since I’m aroace-spec in this life, and I’m pretty sure I was back then too-

I’ve really been missing my brother, Dream, recently, despite all of the conflict between us after my corruption. Something about us getting along or working through our past would be really nice.

He always smiles. It's a radiant smile. You wonder if he ever feels sad. Maybe he's just good at hiding it. He takes your hand again, firmer this time, your skeletal hands locked, finger to finger. Is that the tiniest hint of tears? Are creatures like you even able to cry? Should you cry? You're tired of crying. The hint of a tear is gone. "You're my brother, Nightmare. I understand you more than you think. I'm here. You're okay. We're okay." You turn your head down. You can hear whispers of doubt in your head, things you think others will say. 'Dream is a fool for still believing in them. ' 'After all the pain and misery he caused...' 'Should just strike him down before they...' and all of these thoughts are erased as Dream hugs you tightly. It almost burns. The burning is good. You steady yourself. Time to try again.'

As much as my source’s creator sucks, there’s one singular funny thing that comes out of one of the many bad things they did.

I’ve had this weird phantom feeling in (and I mean in, not on) my back for so long and I had no idea what it could be, since it’s definitely not one of my tentacles.

I just realized it’s probably one of my brother’s arrows from one of our fights. This makes so much sense now.

I’ve never really celebrated or cared about Valentines Day before due to the fact that I’ve never been in a relationship in this life, but now that I know about me being Fictionkin and being in a relationship in one of my ‘kin lives, I have reason to celebrate.

For the ‘kin kill count question, mine is pretty high up there since I was friends with and helped a guy who destroyed entire alternate universes. I may not have directly killed as many people as he did, but I did help him out with that. I also killed my entire “home” village after my corruption, so… my count is definitely in the hundreds, maybe thousands depending on how many universes I helped Error destroy. Is it bad that I’m not bothered by this in the slightest?-

My funniest ‘kin memories both have to do with one person: Killer. I very clearly remember that he blew up our microwave at least once (probably more, knowing him). I also remember him using Cross’s scarf to tie him to the ceiling fan. He then turned it on and Cross was stuck screaming and spinning around the room. Why Cross let him do it and how the fan didn’t break, I have no idea, but it was definitely an interesting day.

AARGH I just want to sit and cuddle with Dust and Blue again. I want to gently wrap my tentacles behind them, hold their hands, and simply relax with them beside me. No multiversal balances to worry about, no fighting, no explosions or yelling from my boys doing stupid stuff (though I do miss that too, funnily enough), just the three of us and a movie or something. Kin clothes, huh? I don’t have any clothes specifically related to Nightmare, but I wear a lot of black and a lot of hoodies. I also like wearing my backpack, strangely enough. Maybe because it reminds me of my tentacles’ weight?

I also have my/Dipper’s hat, but I haven’t worn it for a while. Stupid school uniform and dress code.
