With April Fool's Day coming up, I'm just remembering the prank I pulled last year. It was nothing crazy, all I did was make a facebook post that I was quitting my job to go to clown college because it was my life long dream. That was it. And I thought people would be confused because I've literally never talked about clowns except to say they're kinda creepy sometimes. My post was instead met by messages from friends and family wishing me luck and giving their full support, as well as making comments about their excitement for my bright future as a clown. It was so strangely hilarious that I felt a little bad when I posted an update letting everyone know it was a joke and I had no clowning aspirations. They all had a good laugh about it and many said they thought I'd make an excellent clown regardless. I was touched and insulted. No idea if I'm gonna try to pull a prank this year, but last year's is still pretty funny to me.

The Someday Things I Am Waking Up For Every Day:
a very small house with a very large garden
a window seat where I can sit and read and watch the rain
floor to ceiling book shelves with a rolling ladder
a second dog to sprawl in front of the fireplace after a day spent outdoors
a corner with a spinning wheel and baskets full of yarn
cider brewed from my own trees, sold in local bars and restaurants
board game evenings with friends and good neighbors
weekends working a booth at the farmer’s market, selling vegetables, flowers, sprouts, yarn, plant dyes, etc
a quiet life filled with small joy lived for myself
