OKAY now I’m less sad. here’s my detailed hcs on church prime as a religion (bc too many people make it just reskinned Christianity and that’s just boring)

okay so. church prime is a very syncretic religion. it’s very widespread, but it’s not very stable and is intermixed with a lot of different faiths depending on location, time, ect. as such, there isn’t really a consistent pantheon of gods- many gods have been claimed to be a part of the primian religion, though mostly gods of life, nature, fertility, wealth and stuff along those lines. the main thing linking seperate churches together is simply its holy book- which is encouraged to be interpreted differently by every adherent. it’s a deeply personal faith, dealing with one’s relationship with the primes and piety as opposed to public displays of faith, and in fact tolerance of other beliefs is a central tenet of church prime teachings.

despite discouraging attempts to convert others, it’s flexibility means it’s a common religion- a lot of people take aspects of its teaching into their own faiths due to its friendliness with other beliefs. there is no official clergy- it is expected for everyone in a church to care for the holy lands together fairly, and work to uphold the values and beliefs that are shared universally through the primian holy book. this isn’t to say there aren’t more organised and zealous branches of the faith- but the vast majority of it is very isolated and often vastly different to interpretations just a few churches over.

the core belief of church prime is of the primes themselves- beings created by the gods to look after their followers. primes are everywhere, always watching over you, and they’re said to provide good fortune if given offerings. it is believed that primes often manifest to communicate with their favoured people in the form of chats- the few who don’t have some form of chat (such as, say, c!tommy and c!dream) are often either pitied or shunned. it’s expected to give monetary offerings and sacrifices of trinkets and food to the primes in an attempt to gain their favour, and there are donation boxes at most churches for this purpose, usually signified by a bell, as it’s ringing is said to attract the primes. as such, it’s seen as a holy object, and is used in funerary and wedding services, though those are also highly variable. it’s also seen as blasphemy to offer up items and money for free for this reason- that’s seen as treating people like they’re as sacred as the primes. how strict this is heavily depends on congregation- a few only expect minor prayers for aid given (and only by other faithful) and in fact see said aid as part of their duty, some shun any sort of exchange of goods that doesn’t involve some level of equitable trade, and most lie somewhere in between.

the primary tenets of church prime are to respect nature, respect family, honour the primes, and aid others in whatever way possible. how an individual interprets these commandments is often vastly different, and can cause conflict- to take two canon believers as an example, c!tommy and c!dream view the other as misguided on how they follow these teachings at best and outright blasphemous at worst. c!tommy respects nature by living within it and living a simple life, he respects his family and his friends through his undying loyalty, he honours the primes in quiet prayer, accepting the differing faiths or lack thereof of his peers and engaging in “fair” “trade”, and he tries to stand up and fight to keep others safe even if it makes him miserable and he hates the role he’s in. c!dream respects nature by trying to study and understand it- and control it, for its own benefit, he respects his family by, in his own mind, working for their greater good and happiness despite any moral or ethical setbacks, he views the gods as having abandoned this world and therefore becoming a new god to be honouring the primes they left behind, and he’s willing to sacrifice his own well-being for that goal because he believes if he has ultimate power it will ultimately aid others. they both believe very strongly in church prime, and are incredibly devout believers, but it leads to them expressing and practising their faith in near opposite ways. c!dream values protection and safety over freedom and happiness, c!tommy values freedom and happiness over protection and safety. (in their own heads, at least- c!dream isn’t actually helping anyone at all, but his faith is part of how he can justify it.)

he’s like, very slightly nicer to you, but he still likes to act like you have the plague and make fun of you for it

“I am not going to kiss your sweaty forehead!” He totally will, he’s just trying to test you

he’s not too worried about getting sick himself, so he stays relatively close even if you tell him to stay away

he might not be the most aware of how you’re feeling, he tries to take care of the housework while you’re resting so you don’t have to stress

but if you call out for him, he’ll do a big dramatic sigh

he doesn’t actually care, he just likes causing a scene and pads into the bedroom where you’re resting

“Don’t tell me you’re hot after I spent all that time tucking you into the covers because you were freezing.”

your fluctuating temperature seems to be causing him some grief and he’ll act agitated about it, but the second he leaves the room, he’s texting his mom asking her what to do

when she recommends some homemade soup, he’s pretty sure he’d make your condition worse if he tried to cook, so he orders some and helps you get to the table for lunch

eventually, he does soften up on you when he realizes just how miserable you are being sick

so maybe he’ll give in to your cuddle requests and bring out your favorite movie, but he’ll never own up to it, so you better not comment on it he’ll be embarrassed

finally, you manage to fall asleep and he hopes you’ll feel better in the morning because, as cute as you are wrapped around him for warmth, he doesn’t like seeing you sniffle every 5 seconds

later in the day, he tweets out a cryptic “dumbass got sick again” and everyone just assumes he’s talking about Jambo

little do his fans know, he’s got you wrapped up in a blanket, lying on the couch together so he can keep an eye on your condition

Another DSMP Headcanon(s)

There is 2 this time because I can

also there is mentions of torture so if you don't like that then proceed with caution.

Once, during exile, Tommy got really mad at Dream and ended up back talking to him (even after Dream threatened him) saying that he didn't care anymore because he had nothing to lose. So, Dream grabbed Tommy by the jaw and ripped the wires of his braces out and in doing that he pulled a few of the brackets off of his teeth and almost pulled out a tooth or 2. While Tommy was panicking and yelling on the ground, Dream grabbed him by his shirt, looked him dead in the eyes and said "Don't talk back to me again or next time I might just rip out your tongue." Tommy didn't talk back after that.

When Tommy got out of exile, Quackity was one of the few people that he actually opened up to about what went on during exile. Once Quackity found out, he started using the same torture methods on Dream that Dream used on Tommy, always asking Dream "Does this ring a bell Dream? Do you remember exactly what you did to Tommy, what you put him through in exile?"

I've always thought that ghosts weren't real as well!

My personal idea is a bit different, though. I kind of thought/think that ghosts are parasites that feed off of emotions (probably negative ones). Regardless of headcanon, they definitely aren't anything good.

Suffice to say, I was unambiguously happy when Dream revived Wilbur because I was so unnerved by Ghostbur.

I think that's a valid take on it too!

My concept of ghosts on the SMP comes from the canon that DreamXD eats souls. If he does that, then it'd make sense for people to be trapped in limbo, he's feeding on them. The revive book lets people escape limbo, supposedly for no cost (although I refuse to believe the revive book has no cost unless DreamXD is openly simping for c!Dream, I'd buy that because it'd be very funny). DreamXD wouldn't want people leaving, because then he's hungy :(. So!! Ghosts!! Faint impressions of the person who once was, designed to convince people to leave the person dead. Each ghost has a different Tactic for this:

Ghostbur - Guilt, being a more appealing option/seemingly a better person than c!Wilbur, being agreeable and easy to get along with, etc (ineffective b/c c!Dream doesn't care, might be aware of this tactic)

Ghostboo - Try to convince other players that he's happier now that he's dead, try to convince other people he isn't really dead, hiding from c!Dream (?), (well, might be working but honestly still seems like he'll be getting revived at some point)

Ghost Schlatt - Just make a bet with c!Quackity, assuming he'll fuck up the assignment so badly that he'll not only fail to get the revive book, but almost guarantee Schlatt will never get revived (somehow the most effective strat so far).

“Why would I risk my top secret identity so you can save face?” Dream was sprawled out on his couch, oblivious to your inner turmoil

“C’moooooon! You don’t get it! My cousin is so annoying. She keeps bragging about her partner and gives me dirty looks for being single.” you flop down beside him and push your face into a pillow to fake scream

when the two of you arrived at the small family party, you mingled with aunts and uncles you hadn’t seen in a while as Dream played games with the younger kids

the real fun began when your dreaded cousin slithered, ahem, walked over

“Y/n! How nice to see you and your... friend.”

Dream took her sneer as a challenge, “That’s funny! You’re missing the ‘boy’ in front of ‘friend’.”

feeling the tension in the air, you figure you might as well fan the flames “Where’s your ‘friend’?”

glaring at your question, she continues, “They’re working overtime tonight. Between you and me, they’re saving up for an engagement ring.”

her smirk is like a slap in the face, if she marries you’ll never hear the end of it, but your lamenting is interrupted

“Oh really?! Guess we better beat them to it then, huh baby?” Dream’s arm was suddenly very present against your shoulder, as he broke eye contact with your cousin only to look into your eyes

you were shell shocked, flabbergasted even, only managing a small “Um, yeah.” in the midst of Dream’s eyes locked with yours, questioning if his boyfriend status was still fake

Sapnap

“Oh my God! Don’t tell me that’s her!” Sap yells over the blasting music, pointing at the girl across the room

slapping his hand down so she won’t stare, you follow where he looked, seeing the girl who had stolen every boyfriend you’d ever brought to a party

maybe it was the atmosphere or the way Sapnap was already giving her the death stare, but you got the most wonderful idea, leaning over to whisper your plan to him

“Hey cutie!” leave it to her to flirt with someone who currently had his arms wrapped around your waist, something you were trying to ignore how natural it felt

feeling Sapnap squeeze you a bit tighter, you spit back, “Where’s your boy toy? Though you said he was the hottest guy you ever met, remember, last party I was at?”

she gives you a pinched smile “Oh, he wasn’t very faithful, though I’m sure you know that.”

Sapnap laughs from over your shoulder “Well, maybe you should look for a different type. I’d say ‘men who aren’t taken’ is always a good place.”

her frown and the stomp of her tacky shoes as she retreats is the best thing you could’ve asked for

though, the way Sapnap holds you close for the rest of the night might be better

Karl

“Y/n there’s no way I’m sitting in a suit for hours on end outside with a bunch of strangers. That’s literally a nightmare I’ve had before.” you were getting nowhere trying to convince Karl to come to your friend’s wedding with you

every wedding you’d been to in the past 5 years had been spent hiding from your parents and the new suitor they’d picked for you

why they needed you to be married asap, you had no clue, something told you it was a generational thing but you weren’t willing to hear it out

you’d much rather spend the 5 hour reception with your friend than a stranger who your parents tried to convince you to date

“Karllllllll. They’re literally having a baby pig as the ring bearer! Pleaseeeeee.”

well that did the trick, seeing as he’s tucked into the makeshift pews beside you

despite his role as your plus one, it was your parents who were absolutely enamored with him, smiling and chatting about how you met, what he did for work and the dreaded question, when he was planning on proposing

the new bride was more than happy to slide up to you after the ceremony “I was wondering when one of you would confess. It was so obvious the two of you were fawning over each other for so long.”

her laugh teeters off as she moves on to other guests, but when Karl comes to drag you onto the dance floor, you’re still thinking about her little comment

Wilbur

could you really call yourself a friend of Wilbur’s if you didn’t go to every new cafe he recommended

apparently not, because he’d drag you there no matter what you said

stepping into the quaint shop and seeing all the couples, you got a bit embarrassed at the way you jumped to conclusions, wondering if it was a date

ordering your drinks and settling into one of the booths, your attention is drawn by the bell on the door, quickly ducking down after seeing your ex walk in

Wilbur scrunches his eyebrows at your behavior, but soon notices and ducks down with you, smiling at your antics and whispering, “Pretty cozy down here.”

you don’t even need to look to know your ex is approaching, seeing the way Wilbur brings himself to his full height and puffs his chest out unconsciously

“Y/n, fancy seeing you here. You never liked going out to places like these when we were together.” the emphasis he places on “we” as if you’re still dating almost makes you hurl

“Hmm, maybe it had more to do with the company than the drinks.” Wilbur gave his classic shit-eating grin, sipping his coffee

the silent flapping of your ex’s mouth is only allowed for a moment before Wilbur stands up from the booth

“Well, we’ve got to go. Love waits for no man, you know how it is.” the hand he claps on your ex’s back is hardly gentle

but the way he holds your hand as you exit the cafe makes his boyfriend status feel more real than the facade he put on for your ex

Tubbo logged into the dsmp

Ok so Tubbo logging in and being in spectator in the Arctic Commune is canon to me. There are 2 canon compliant options in my blorbo brain.

Number 1: c!Tubbo died and the nuke hit the prison as planned and c!Jack changing the coordinates didn’t do anything so Ghostbo went to look for Michael after the nuke (separate from “the event”) and see if he was alright but he already was saved from “the event” by Mumza.

Or Number 2: The nuke didn’t kill anyone and c!Jack’s changing of the coordinates worked and it hit Tommy’s house but “the Event” still happened (probably from the universe instability from revival) but c!Tubbo found a way to get back to the original universe (in the multiverse of Minecraft SMPs) to try to find Michael and everyone is gone and the world is barren with nothing but the impact they had on the world left behind.

Both options take place far in the future of the lore timeline, c!Tubbo misses his son, also fuck amnesia my boy just dropped an anvil on his head and fixed his memory ‘cuz he’s smart like that.
