GUESS WHO'S BACK??? IT'S MEEEE!!

A lot of life stuff has happened during my hiatus (which I am going to refer to as my "anime protagonist training arc"), but I can safely say I'm back and ready to create more art! :D

So here's the first painting of the new year, a much needed new icon/banner of my persona, Midori Emerald Akina! I really missed drawing her <3 I'm gonna be posting a lot of backlog artwork for the time being, so expect more soon! :D

I started working on a dragon portrait a few days ago, finished inking the lines today.. as an aside, I do not recommend using sharpie for such a task, it was a mistake.

Meet Ezlo the Kleptomaniacal Dragon!

I like how FIERCE he looks, but maybe he looks too fierce? What's your thoughts? I included his character profile for him below. His name and place names may change later.

Ezlo, the dragon, lives in a cave high in the mountains.  He steals knick-knacks, shoes, vases, and anything that satisfies his latest obsession.  Since Ezlo lives near the kingdom of Wunderer, he occasionally swoops down to abduct sheep, oxen, or annoying pets for food.  Rumors say he eats humans too, but he hasn’t eaten a human in years.  The many brave souls that tried to steal his treasures didn’t live though.

   Unbeknownst to the people of Wunderer, Ezlo is searching for something to cure his loneliness and desperation.  He wants a different purpose besides hoarding and guarding treasure.  Despite his kleptomania, he wouldn’t describe himself as a bloodthirsty monster.  He’s fascinated with humans’ work and feels compelled to steal what they have, to try to understand their purposes. 

   The Book of Dirty Secrets he stole has entertained him endlessly since he got it!  The Queen of Wunderer’s secrets intrigue him, but he doesn’t understand what some of them mean.
