~ Got stuck on another drawing so here’s more Dr. Zam and Miyuki fan-art. From @esthyradler’s IZ AU. Figured I’d give it a shot and try and add more angles this time. Esthy’s style is so soothing to look at, but also has a lot of angles in it you wouldn’t expect. While I was coloring this, I thought I should go for more muted colors, but nah, there’s actually a LOT of saturated colors in these drawings. It’s a great style and I’ll probably keep studying it to try and figure out what makes it look so effortless and natural, while still feeling “Zimmy”.

HELLO FELLOW IRKENS and then some others merely visiting our wonderful Irk. It is I, Shortest Kev, here again to share, well, sort of. …

This is really more like Kev is here to prove I am in fact writing this big bad smeet, as promised. Also, to get you all aware that I may not make the 31 mark for this month, for a couple reasons;

I’ve been suffering horrible headaches, being one.

And two, I NEVER envisioned this small being a tall. I’ve almost made the NaNo 50K mark. This is crazy! I’m only in the middle of the story of at this point. We are barely seeking real outside help for Zim.

I know there’s still time. But depending on my proceeding headaches and how fast the characters work to write this, aka how helpful they are. I may have no choice but to hold back the release date.

Also, even if I finish writing the whole thing in time. If I don’t have time for editing, I’ll still withhold the release.

Let me tell you why. It won’t be as good reading if left unedited. A lot of of my editing goes into not just grammar and flow of story, but it goes into perfecting characterization. I think we can all agree you rather have a late story, then poorly provided one. I know as a creator I don’t want to showcase something I can’t be proud of in some form.

I or @tr333333 will keep you all updated as to our thoughts on whether I’ll make the cutoff.

On another note, I’ll continue on sharing my IZ OC stories here. Before transferring them over to A03, and maybe even sharing my AU idea’s and playlists I hoard. I’m hoping to in November to post some of my character bio’s.

Again, that depends on whether I get the Vampken’s story finished by the 31. Because I’m planning on doing that IZ OC story with my IZ Oc’s and DR.Zam from @esthyradler. I have not forgotten about this idea. My Oc’s just weren’t being very cooperative, and Dib and Zim were.

One more thing, I will use the tag [QPP/QPR: ZaDf/ZaDr] for now on after this one. Instead of the QPP ZaDr tag. As it made me aware from @bamsara anons that our tag is bleeding into the normal QPP or QPR tag for information. I agree with Bam. I don’t want my IZ stuff in the normal none IZ tags, and especially not one for important information.
