Organic & Plantbased Foods in NYC - My Top 10

So as you know I’m into organic food and when traveling to different destinations it’s not always possible to continue my full organic diet and adjustments are sometimes necessary, this is where the “Dirty Dozen & Clean Fifteen” come into play.

However the important thing to note here is that it was not a problem in NYC, finding organic eateries, coffee, juices, and clean food was easy. I’ll share my top 10 favorites here for you to try if you haven’t already...

1. ABC Kitchen - a gem of a find as they have a total vegan restaurant too, all organic, lunch, brunch & dinner loved it.

2. By Chloe - for a quick treat or snack!

3. The Butchers Daughter - great for brunch & juice.

4. Dr Smoods - delicious lunch, juice, vegan and organic foods.

5. Pure Ktchn - perfect fresh organic breakfast, smoothies, salads for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

6. Bare Burger - organic and sustainable food, with plenty of vegan options I had a yummy quinoa burger!

7. Quartino Bottega Organica - beautiful rustic Italian reataurant with organic menu & wines including vegan options, totally loved it.

8. Del Posto - Italian a little special and on the higher end of dining but I was delighted to have a 5 course vegan degustation - worth every penny if you can go.

9. Pret A Porter - Great organic coffee & snacks.

10. Uptown Veg - great vegan dishes with soul and all organic too.

3 restaurantes para visitar em Miami

O tempo quente e a praia maravilhosa são elementos que com certeza definem Miami. O clima na cidade é super agradável para passeios, e assim dá para conhecer vários lugares. Também dá para fazer algumas compras. Inclusive, já contei para vocês quais foram as lojas que mais gostei por lá.

Como eu estava viajando sozinha, aproveitei para explorar a cidade e conhecer vários restaurantes diferentes. E é claro que não deixaria de listar os locais que comi e curti em Miami para compartilhar com vocês.

Icebox Coffee

Em uma das noites que passei por Miami, jantei sozinha no Icebox Coffee e comi tanto que daria para alimentar duas Danis

O lugar é uma gracinha, mas o que me chamou atenção foi a quantidade de pratos vegetarianos e veganos do cardápio. Por mais que não seja um restaurante voltado para esse tipo de comida, a divisão entre pratos com e sem carne é bem equilibrada. Isso é muito raro e valorizo demais quando encontro um lugar assim!

Essa é uma boa opção de restaurante para qualquer hora do dia, já que funcionam desde o café da manhã até o jantar. E também existem muitas opções de bebidas e doces. De entrada, comi um hummus que estava divino! Meu conselho para quem não costuma comer muito é que esse prato é muito bem servido, tanto que quase não consegui comer o prato principal, que era um bowl de salada. Esse bowl vegano estava gostoso, porém gostei mais da entrada de hummus.

Durante o passeio pelo distrito artístico de Miami, acabei me encontrando com duas amigas minhas e resolvemos descobrir Wynwood juntas! Almoçamos no Dr. Smood, um restaurante com uma proposta incrível.

Eles buscam produzir e servir apenas comidas super saudáveis e não processadas. Comi um toast apimentado de hummus, abacate e pepino, estava uma delícia! Além disso, o Dr. Smood tem uma decoração estilo industrial que torna o lugar ainda mais atraente e descolado.

Salty Donuts

Descobri o Salty Donuts graças aos meus seguidores queridos, então já deixo aqui um obrigada! Como o restaurante também fica em Wynwood, eu e as meninas resolvemos visitar o local para provar os famosos donuts. Foi realmente difícil escolher, já que os recheios parecem ser um melhor do que o outro e dá vontade de provar todos!

Acabei pedindo dois donuts de tipos diferentes: um recheado com muito chocolate e outro sem recheio. Confesso que gostei mais do primeiro, que tem uma massa mais macia e é uma mistura perfeita de chocolate com avelã caramelizada. O segundo se chama Brown Butter + Salt e até a massa é diferente, uma espécie de biscoito salgado com uma camada de beurre noisette. Como estava muito calor, escolhi um café gelado para acompanhar e foi uma combinação sensacional
