Like the devs just went 'hey, this guy ain't depressed anymore so what can we do with him?' and decided to turn him into a chaos-mongering gremlin who has managed to reach top spot on 'Lear's Most Hated' list, co-adopt Clemont, almost ruin the New Year by causing a storm because he and Electivire were training so much, cause Sabrina to have a vision of said disaster, build a reputation for renovating everything so much that Lear has an active reason to seek him out and just genuinely be a complete and utter nuisance alongside his boyfriend, Flint. How has this man not been kicked off the island yet?

gio my friend gio, my unpopular opinion is thus: DPPt are extremely mid and they're some of the weakest mainline games, I think they're Quite overrated.

i do believe they fall in the same category pokemon red and blue or, to give examples outside of pokemon, ff7 and kh2. they were a lot of people First Pokèmon Game, in the same way ff7 was a lot of people's first final fantasy and kh2 was a lot of people first kingdom hearts. they have very good parts, INCREDIBLY tedious and slow ones, and i think we all agree a lot of us remember a lot more those goods than the bads + are moved by nostalgia

i think dp is. slow and pt is okay to INCREDIBLE specifically in the final part, but compared to other games in the series they wouldnt stand up that much if it wasnt for a lot of nostalgia and the lore behind them
