Ok maybe I like the Loki pilot a little tooooo much because somehow when I was like 7 I got the idea that after you die you have to watch a movie of every bad thing you ever did and then you find out if you鈥檙e going to heaven or hell and I鈥檝e been haunted by that concept ever since.

Racing to the top of the Time Travel Science Fiction category, Zoomers is climbing the new release聽charts!
It鈥檚 pretty epic to see one of our titles climbing to the top of the charts. Especially when it鈥檚 in the same categories as Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and Doctor Who. So check out Zoomers for a fun easy read. There is a problem with life. It鈥檚 ending. All of it. Everywhere. The sort of people who know about these things think, on balance, that something should be done about it. The good鈥

I believe everyone should Read Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy once in their life. The way of writing is amazing. It is nothing profound, but that is exactly it. It was written decades but it proves that comedy does not change. There is a constant form of humor and that is simply something being strange and unexpected.

Take Loki, put him in a Douglas Adams' kind of world.
That's it, you have a show, congratulations!

Okay, so I made a supernatural AU (kinda like mbav, but not really) and I have to share:
Instead of bionic, the kids are supernatural, well not at first. Basically Douglas studied magic, had three kids, used some spells on them, but they were still normal enough that when Donald found out he didn't hide them in his basement.
He oficially adopted them, met Tasha, married her and everything was great. Until one night when Adam, Bree, Chase and Leo sneak out to a party.
They leave as humans and come back as something else. (I'm not saying what happened, I want to write a fic and it wouldn't be a good idea to spoil it). Adam is a vampire, Bree is a zombie, Chase a werewolf and Leo a mage (technically a necromancer).
Instead of going on missions, the kids are trying to learn how to live with their magical abilities and Donald is helpfully unhelpful.
Douglas is still evil and Krane is a normal human who is obsessed with becoming the most powerful mage in the world, but he can't do magic. I might add more later.

"against the wall, nazi freak" is such a fucking weird anon because I had previously associated the "against the wall" phrase with Nazis (and adjacent figures) themselves. Have I previously been misunderstanding who's using it, or are the current "anti-degeneracy" movements on the left and the right merging somehow (possibly related to anti-pride discourse)?
Well, I, like a lot of geeky people in my generation I think, first encountered the phrase in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where it was "[so n so] will be the first up against the wall when The Revolution comes" meaning that person would be executed by a firing squad during a Leftist revolution, which was apparently in circulation in British comedy in the era. It's a Leftist phrase, or used to mock Leftists who would themselves likely be executed in a Revolution; the Revolution is usually a leftist one.
I've seen a little of "[so n so] is going to get it come the Day of the Rope" from Right wingers, but as far as I know, they've never done it to the point of becoming a punchline.
Of course, "against the wall" also has a sexual meaning and is associated with, ah, streetwalkers and homosexuals, as that's generally who's doing it in a back alley, so it's not completely clear :P
