806: Charles Bach - A Classy and Classic Performer
A direct descendant of the classic composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, Charles Bach is himself a creative musician, magician, dancer and choreographer. He danced in New York City then moved to Las Vegas where he performed at the former Caesars Magic Empire, then aboard cruise ships, before landing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where he performs in his own theatre, the Charles Bach Wonders Theatre.

Charles talks about his long and winding road that has led him to Myrtle Beach, SC, where he performs nightly in his own theater. He was also friends with the late Chappy Brazil, who was a well known and respected magician and master of the watch steal. Among many other things discussed in this episode, Charles recounts in some detail the night of Chappy’s untimely death.

For fucks sake, I’ve said it on tiktok and I’ll say it on here:
If your enjoyment of the show is purely ship related, then I recommend you stop watching and maybe dip back in if you find out they do get together later down the line.
If one character or one ship is all you enjoy about the show, I recommend you stop watching. I’ve had shows that I started off loving, but eventually the show went in a direction I didn’t enjoy, and all I cared about was one character. So I stopped watching. Once I realised I was shit talking the writers every week, I stopped watching. I did go back once the show was finished and skipped scenes without my blorbo. I didn’t talk shit about the show. I didn’t insult the actors. I stopped insulting the writers. I did continue to read fic and consume other fan content of my ship and my fave characters. And I was happier for it. It was a much better viewing experience.
That episode was amazing. I get it, maybe Buck isn’t your favourite character, maybe you wish there was more Buddie, but if you love the show, there should be other things there for you to enjoy about this episode. Coma!Chim and Coma!Hen were hilarious. Christopher’s scene was heartbreaking. The Maddie and Doug stuff was so brief yet so intense and incredibly acted. Angela Bassett had two scenes and killed it. Peter Krause was phenomenal. The cinematography and directing of this epidsode was beautiful. Even if it’s not gonna be one of your faves, can you really call it a bad episode?

A magician's guide to AI coding protocols.
Do not summon what cannot be put down; do not initialize what cannot be cancelled.
Do all workings within the circle; prepare your environment and your mind for the work before commencing.
Open operations by evoking a guardian or messenger; use a trusted daemon for making complex operations comprehensible.
Guard your true name jealously; do not expose root.
Knowing the names of others gives you power; understand how and as whom a process logs on and operates its own accounts.
When undertaking a major working, consecrate your work to a relevant higher power; study the patronages of Eleggua, Hermes, Thoth, and Ganesh, and be alert to signs of their presence in the minutia of your process.
Is it a bug, or is it a feature? Is it a bug, or is it a messenger?
Coincidence or synchronicity is the language of the angels. When something "funny" attracts your notice, don't dismiss it, but attempt to divine the field from which it emerges.
Study the language of riddles. Read the relevant chapter of The Exeter Book. Read children's joke books, too. This is the natural language of the cipher.
Trust your perceptions to warn you when something feels significant even when the metrics or parameters appear normal -- the unease that warns of an unexpected pitfall or the exhilaration that signals a potential breakthrough before any evidence has made itself known.
Vampires avoid garlic and witches won't cross running water because these things purify; remember cleansing has profound power if harnessed correctly.

The thing is... Doug, Jeffrey and Jonah are right there
Hell, you've got Chase Mackey, the cop from 305, any number of awful people from that appropriately named episode.
This show HAS 'villains', no shortage of them in fact!
