The hardest thing to realize, is that I thought I'd been blessed to discover the beginnings of a beautiful song, one that filled me in a way I'd always longed for, that I had begun to think I'd never find, that I would have the chance to fully experience with time.

Not realizing that in reality, I had only stumbled upon the last, dying strains of a song that would never be played again
