I think Finn and pb being friends over reincarnations is really sweet tbh, (or I guess specifically Finn’s reincarnations) and I think it just adds on to them becoming more friends than anything else over the series ? Like at the start finn sees pb as a crush/boss more but over time He does see her as a very good friend !! Also like u said !! I think part of this is also seeing Finn n jake n stuff call pb Bonnie more ? It’s nice I really just like Finn and pb’s friendship, like how in the finale pb kisses Finn on the cheek platonically and like !! It isint weird or anything !! Idk if I am explaining my feelings well but idk you get what I mean most of the time.

The way their dynamic changes over the series is really nice. I like where theyre at now i really liked that episode where they were at that party and then just. Left and chilled and hung out together it was nice. And then also the seeing eyes oke where Finn just sees her as like, his friend and she was just in casual clothes, makes it seem like he sees her a lot more as his equal now.

I think also as much as finn has taken PB off that pedestal he had her on to start with i think Bonnie also sees Finn as her equal a lot more now, i think she respects him a lot more now and the way theyve changed in treating eachother has made it easier for the other to change as well. This is getting hard to explain but u get it i think

I get what u mean, if that sorta thing had happened at the start of the series (i think it does) it would have been like a Whole Thing but at this point where they’re at with eachother its just. Not.

The overall swap with so many character from calling them their titles to using their actual names is something that is so special to me. Like you have Simon and Bonnie as the obvious ones but its also a lot more explicit in, i cant remember what the ep is called but when Flame Princess tells Bonnie her name is Pheobe and its like a Thing where she wont tell her what her name is until after shes proven she can be trusted and its like a trust and closeness thing. Finn also started calling her Pheobe but i don’t know where he got it from he just Did that but its nice too

Anyways yeah Finn and PB’s friendship is so nice and im glad they’re friends now over whatever idolisation knight thing was going on at the start of the series

Dominik was your best friend and the man you've been swooning over the past year. 

A year ago you couldn't stand the thought of him or the rest of The Judgement Day. You felt that their presence every Monday night was just… annoying to say the least. But, After many many many attempts at getting you to join, you finally gave in. Rhea was the one who convinced you. 

“C'mon y/n think about all the opportunities we could get you! You could be the next Women’s Champion. I've seen how hard you've been working for that opportunity. Let JD help you.” 

"Fine, but if you guys screw me over, it's not gonna be pretty"

"Now why would we do that y/n?" she says with her signature smirk

So here you are now, the women's Champion, with the four people you now consider family. Shortly after joining, you realized that they weren't that terrible after all. And that's also when you stopped seeing Dom as a nuisance and saw him as the sweet and caring person he truly is. Out of everyone, you and Dom were the closest. The two you just clicked, always together, whether it be ringside supporting each other or just chilling, y'all were inseparable. Your little crush on Dom didn't go unnoticed either. The group often teased you when Dom wasn't around.

Each day your feelings for him grew and you only hoped he felt the same. Telling him the truth was always on your mind. Could it possibly ruin the friendship you have with him? Maybe. but, you never know unless you try… right? Yeah, that wasn't an option at the moment. 

After an eventful Raw, it was time for everyone to get back to the hotel. Everyone seemed to have left already except for you and Dom. It was weird, the five of you guys usually always left together. “You whipped some major ass out there!’ you complimented Dom as the two of yall packed up. “You think so? Felt like I didn't give my best tonight.” he shrugs. “Dom you always give a good show, dont doubt it.” He smiles at your comment. “Now cmon, I think the cab is here” You wrap an arm around his neck and head towards the exit. What you didn't know is that one, it was raining, and two, once you exit, you can't get back in. 

“Oh shit! I didn't know it was gonna be pouring out here,” you said running toward the door. You attempted to open the door. “What the…” you tried again. “Dom I think we're stuck out here…” You begin to anxiously laugh at the situation. “You know this is your fault right” You look at Dom like he has two heads. “My fault?! How was I supposed to know it was gonna be pouring out and-” “Relax y/n, I'm just fucking with you” he laughs at your mini outburst. 

“You're an asshole, you know that right?” the uncomfortable feeling of being wet starting to sink in.

“An asshole you looove”

“Yeah right, in your dreams” 

The two of you laugh and settle into a comfortable silence.

Dom notices you start to shiver. “Here take my jacket” He handed it to you and you put it on quickly. “Thanks” you smile to yourself. Little acts like this is what made you fall in love with him, if only you could tell him that. Minutes pass by still waiting for transportation, and the two of you switch between looking at your phones or watching the rain fall peacefully. Dom decides to break that comfortable silence. 

“Y/n can I tell you something?”

“Of course, what's up”

He turns to look down at you. “I don't know why I have this sudden urge to tell you this but fuck it,” you look at him confused. “Y/N I like you, a lot." Oh? Oh. "Even before you joined JD, when you hated my guts. You're- you're just so perfect, and funny, and beautiful and I can't explain what you do to me, but I love it. I didn't know people like you existed. You mean a lot to me and I don't even know if you feel the same b-” You cut him off, putting your hand on his wet cheek, and smile. “Dom, I've had the biggest crush on you for months now. I'm surprised you didn't notice! He stares at you baffled. "You're lying" "I swear!" Laughs come from both of you, he leans in, kissing you softly. He's the one to break the kiss. “I wasn't expecting you to change my life... but you did" You give him the biggest smile, and as you begin to respond to him, you are interrupted by the sound of a car horn. It's Rhea, Finn, and Damien all smiling at the two of you from the car.

“About damn time!” Damien says.

@miraclesabound okay friend you reminded me of something funny. so I took a 6am train to get into DC by like 7:30, so I was there from the jump, and yes it was cold but I dressed appropriately so I didn't really have a hard time with it. and later on, like if anyone has ever been to a big protest you know that when you're in a massive crowd like that you do heat up because you're all close together (and marches are supposed to be close, you're not supposed to let a bunch of space build up between marchers because it's easier for cops for instance to fuck shit up if you get separated, etc) but when you're just standing around for ages your feet will not understand that you are surrounded by other people and will get super cold, which is rude of them 🤬

so anyway when I got to dc I got something quick to eat at a wawa lol and then made my way over to the rally area at around 8:30, where it was basically just organizers starting to trickle in. and yes, it was freezing.

it was also beautiful out, but very chilly and windy. around 10:30-11 or so the sky CHANGED (I cropped this photo bc PEOPLE DONT KNOW HOW TO COVER THEIR FACES)

the wind was rolling. it did clear up after a bit of a sprinkling, which I was like lmao oh god no please not this, rain makes americans want to stay inside but it passed quickly because of the wind thankfully. also I forgot which americans we're talking about - Arab americans show up for palestine no matter what, and of course the crowd was super diverse and full of all people but this is a movement that is driven by Arab americans, Muslim americans, Palestinian americans, Black americans (edit: cannot believe I forgot Jewish americans im dumb) etc. they show up no matter what.

later, in the rally which started at around 12 for six palestinian americans to speak on their families' traumas in the war and then at 1 or so the official rally began, yeah it was windy as hell and it was kind of funny, there were these massive palestinian flags all over the crowd (I experienced two of them - one in the front and later during my phone issues towards the center back - I didn't see the end of the crowd but it stretched over blocks and streets, it was massive for the united states which sadly doesn't get protests like this often) and they had handles for people to hold onto them and pass them around the crowd - kind of like all of us holding onto palestine, at least thats how I took it - but the wind was WINDING and so we were all kind of struggling to keep it from flying away

anyway at protests there are organizers who have supplies and I saw some people with hand warmers, but when we got to the white house hours later i was next to a man who was blowing into his hands bc they were so cold. I had an extra scarf (i had my keffiyeh and then another scarf which is wool and very warm, my keffiyeh is a fake bitch so it is not super warm like a real hirbawi one, i used to have one of those like ten years ago but i lost it in a move i think 😭😭😭) so I lent it to him to wrap his hands.

but let's be real it was in the high 30s or low 40s, even with the wind it wasn't like... the worst I've experienced. here in Delaware we don't get winters like we used to but last December there was a night that dropped to 8° Fahrenheit or -13° Celsius so I've had worse. but some discomfort is nothing compared to what gaza is going through, and even if the temperatures aren't like that in gaza* it's still cold at night and going through starvation, dehydration, the trauma of war, disease etc is made even worse by dealing with cool nights in a tent.

it was cold but we were all warmer together.

so. phinbella and byler.

thinking about this post where it compares byler and phinbella from phineas and ferb along with more important points and,,,

and the more i think about it, the more i get confident. bc im now realizing how.. alike the two pairings actually are, especially now that its official that will ripped off the bandaid and decided to move on.

yes im making a long-ass parallel analysis involving stranger things and phineas and ferb. dont talk to me

so in PnF, phineas and isabella are established as childhood best friends first, who clearly love each other. in how the episodes are set up, we always see isabella's pov and never get a glimpse of phineas'. mike and phineas are the same in regards to both being clearly intelligent leaders but oblivious as fuck when it comes to emotions or feelings. (lol though the difference between isabella and will is that isabella was BLATANTLY obvious and phineas' obliviousness was supposed to be played off as a joke bc of how dense he is)

but even if phineas is dense, he always, always showed signs of caring about isabella. some examples of what he did for her was building an entire haunted house to cure her hiccups, giving her an extravagant surprise birthday party, and even making a giant ice cream sundae to help cure her tonsilitis.

he also has instances where he just says shit friends arent Supposed to Say to Each Other

(hmm...who else do we see showing their friend a lot more attention and care that goes.. beyond platonic territory?)

phineas and mike are the same in the way they show a special kind of love to isabella and will. yes, they still both care about the others in their group, but other people can vouch they wouldn't do the things they did for anyone else other than their respective best friends. in core, it is romantic, even if the person doesnt know it is.

and as for the comparison between isabella and will, theyre devoted and head over heels in love with their best friends, but are terrified of how the other will think. they both also had moments where they pushed their own feelings aside for the good of the other and for their happiness, even if it means that isabella and will dont get what they want because they love them way too much.

anyway im mostly talking about mike and phineas here bc of the solidarity with their mind being full of rocks

so moving on to the episode where phinbella got together.

this episode was considered a miracle because we finally got to see both phineas and isabella's pov. isabella moved on during jhs and became more distant due to her planning for college and other volunteer work.

but even after everything, despite trying to forget phineas, it only took her seeing one photo of him for all of that effort to be in vain because she realizes that 10 years of friendship is too much to just 'get over'.

sound familiar on whose arc that's similar to? that's right, will. if we’re referring to the script, will is in the process of deciding to move on in s4 and keep his distance, accepting the fact he lost mike to el; when we as the viewers know he didnt. he's too caught up in his own insecurities to realize mike values him a lot, hence the bedroom scene between him and mike. will is gonna realize eventually that no matter how much he tries, he cannot let go of mike so easily considering their years of history.

as for phineas, its revealed he genuinely did not know that isabella loved him despite all the hints she gave to him. and its only after she left and became more distant during summer that phineas realizes how much he valued her, and even confirmed he started having feelings for her during high school. it also took other people to say it to his face that isabella had a giant crush on him for him to finally look for her and confess before she goes off to college.

again, another parallel! theyre both oblivious as fuck!

mike is confirmed by finn and the duffers that mike knows jack shit about what will feels. the script that was released showed us absolutely no insight on mike's thoughts, which is already telling on itself.

and in the end, phineas and isabella chased each other, talked, and finally admitted their feelings for one another and got together.

it leaves us the good kind of ambiguity that if mike is clueless, it doesnt mean he'll react to will negatively. thats the reason the possibility of mike finding out will lied about the painting is SO important because it's the end all be all moment for both of them. the ‘Oh.’ moment. so if mike and will just talk, then everything falls into place. they will have THE heart to heart.

so in conclusion, if we think about it this way and compared them both a bit more on how will 'ripped off the bandaid', it doesnt immediately mean its over. because like people said, will decided to move on, but that is not an utmost guarantee that the boy will. 10 years of feelings is not something you can forget or move past from. and lastly, we know nothing about mike's pov and how he's gonna take it if he does find out.

this realization also hit me harder on how fucking romantic coded byler is because of how many parallels we can pick up from these two alone. we have the perfect setup of person A falling in love and giving up. now, we're just missing person B’s realisation, then chasing A. finally they talk, probably kiss, and for once be on the same page.

this shit aint over, guys. byler is endgame.

oh goodness M's writing (and M themself) Is so flipping wonderful and this was one of her first fic's I've ever read (I think it might've actually been their first published fic I read) the way she writes is so flipping incredible and the way they weave all the character's stories together is so magical to witness, and to watch them do this wizardry on the discord (parkouring through allll the threads, so many of which are her brainchild because M is big brain and they are so so cool) has me making heart eyes at my phone/laptop. This fic is somft and also hot (which they are a MASTER at, the duality of M(tm)) and every SW fan HAS to read it, I promise you'll love it.

okay, the title in itself is a spoiler, but i just gotta be dramatic okay? its honestly just me pointing out shit in riptide i noticed (which i miss shit so if i got smth wrong pls tell me)

this all started from a convo about nico de angelo with my non jrwi friend btw so yeah

so, by actual account, chip is dead right? well, my non jrwi friend (@arcadianxanadus) brings up a fun idea: magically hes considered alive.

we know jack shit on how captain widows revival magic works, so lemme give you my theory notes now

captain widows magic seems to only take that full effect (murder i mean) when the victim is unconscious, im doubting it even works on someone awake as i dont recall any needed checks for those (could have to do a rewatch of jrwi oh well)

once the heart is removed from captain widow by any means, the person it belonged to dies, meaning something inside captain widow keeps that shit thumping yet also allows a connection to remain between the owner and the heart

captain widows body allows the hearts to move arround, and i dont think she has her own

grizzly mentioned in one ep that he was translating some monsters over to enemies

(mentioned by non jrwi friend!) captain widow seems to be opposite magically of the black sea. widows victims end up dead yet magically the brain is tricked into believing the body is alive so they "come back" from the dead, while those affected by corruption have the mindset of a zombie or undead but are very much alive

now for a couple questions which relate to captain widow:

(mentioned by non jrwi friend!) can captain widows magic be reversed with the opposite process? would the same process work?

can chip even be revived if captain widows magic is the only reason he is alive? what happens if he is (somehow gets a new heart), then they remove chips old heart, would chip die too?

can captain widows process even be reversed at all?

does captain widow have any connection to victims of the black sea or the corruption?

what is this womans biology like? how is any of her feats done?

(mentioned by non jrwi friend!) could captain widow give chip back his heart?

the black sea has 2 crescent shaped islands, and the viridis sea has 1 creacent shaped landmass (apon closer inspection, the royale blue ocean also has 2 crescent shaped islands, one of which being jays home land and the other being desire island)

considering how liquidus is located in a hole in the northern sea (dont wanna struggle to spell viridis), the holes can naturally occur (why else does nobody fucking question it), so the irregular part must be how it corrupted the sea

would goobleck be affected by the goop of the sea? could he just absorb it?

we actually dont know much on the undersea. gillion isnt a reliable source because he didnt get to see it much, finn isnt a good source either cause his age and magic are affecting his memory, leaving edyn whod be the best source...except for the fact that shes nowhere to be found and would probably run before any questions could be asked.

chip can be revived by maybe a couple of 3 ways:

chip is brought to zero hp again and captain widow gives back his heart

chip is brought to max hp and captain widow gives back his heart

(for me the most likely thought) chip gets fully corrupted and (maybe needed) fails the check to remember shit

i have the most trust in the first part of theory 3. since each magic has opposite effects, maybe itll force chip back to life, thus reviving him? im hoping chip doesnt try it though, aster forbid im fucking wrong and we just lose chibo

the second part of theory 3 is there cahse (cause) maybe chip has to be fall to rise again? the only way to get up is to fall til you cant no more type shit. maybe if chip loses himself to the sea, all the magic going on will fucking return him to normal? look, im trying to be positive, and in the bleek dark trauma hole its fuckin hard

Sebastian immediately went to the minifridge when he and Kurt returned to the dorm room. He snagged an icepack for his knuckles and sat heavily on his bed. Kurt joined him.

“Give me your hand,” Kurt said.

“It’s fine,” Sebastian snapped.

“I just want to make sure you didn’t break anything,” Kurt replied, grabbing Sebastian’s hand.

“And how would you know?” He winced as Kurt gently flexed Sebastian’s fingers one at a time. 

“My step-mother is a nurse,” Kurt said, “and Finn has some occasional anger management issues that cause him to punch walls.”

The bathroom door opened slowly and Blaine stepped out in an overlarge Dalton sweater and boxers. Kurt and Sebastian both stilled, Sebastian’s hand held loosely in Kurt’s grip.

“Hey,” Kurt breathed at the same time as Sebastian said, “Hey, Killer.”

Blaine’s brow furrowed as he looked at their linked hands and trailed over to the icepack on Sebastian’s lap.

“What… did you punch Kurt?” Blaine said though his eyes continued to search Kurt’s face and found no sign of injury. “Or…”

“We went to Lima,” Kurt said… “to the Waffle House.”

Blaine’s jaw fell slack. “I can’t… I can’t believe you!” he hissed. “After I told you he didn’t–”

“He’s twenty-five, Blaine,” Sebastian cut him off, “consensual or not, it’s still statutory rape at least. The asshole deserved worse.”

“That’s not for you to decide, Sebastian!” Blaine cried. His arms hugged himself tightly. “I told you I needed space, and you took that space to go beat him up?”

“Blaine,” Kurt said softly, standing and approaching him carefully. 

“I should have expected this from him,” Blaine said, zeroing in on Kurt, “but you? You know violence isn’t the answer.”

“It is if it means he can’t do to anyone else what he did to you,” Kurt reached out to him but Blaine jerked away. 

“God, I thought I could come back and do this, but you two and your fucking toxic masculinity, defending my honor or whatever you think you’re doing. I just… I can’t.”

“Blaine,” Kurt pleaded.

“No,” Blaine said as he walked over to the closet and stripped out of the sweatshirt, tossed it on the ground, and grabbed a smaller one off a hanger, slipping it over his head. “I’m spending the night with Nick.” He threw on a pair of sweatpants and grabbed his backpack and phone. “You two,” he sighed in frustration, “do whatever you want, I just can’t handle either of you at the moment.” He left as abruptly as before and Kurt just stood their gaping after him.

Sebastian whistled lowly. “Well, don’t know what else I expected of him, but it certainly wasn’t that.”

Kurt looked at him bewildered. “He’s… he’s never spoken to me like that before.”

“Good,” Sebastian said, “that means he’s finally learned to not just cowtow to whatever you want.”

“I’ve never seen him so angry,” Kurt said, “especially not at me.”

“Sure you have,” Sebastian said, “he’s just so good at suppressing any emotion he believes to be negative, that’d you’d never know he was having it. It’s really a miracle how he bottles everything up the way he does.”

Kurt just blinked at him. 

Sebastian sighed. “I really dont think I can explain to you the difficulties of getting Blaine to acknowledge his emotions without something to drink. And since he went to Nick’s, my usual dealer is unavailable.”

Kurt pursed his lips… “I was sent on an alcohol run by Rachel this afternoon… and its all still in my trunk.”

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. “You’re only telling me this now? We could have been drinking hours ago!”

Three shots of whiskey in, and sipping on the margaritas they’d managed with limes from the cafeteria, found Sebastian and Kurt sitting side by side on Sebastian’s bed. Kurt well on his way to tipsy and Sebastian lightly buzzed.

“You know,” Kurt started, paused to burp, and then restarted. “You know why I’ve always hated you, Smythe?”

Sebastian rolled his eyes. “Do tell, Hummel, I’m so excited to hear.”

“Because you remind me of myself,” Kurt said, his head lolling to the side, almost landing on Sebastian’s shoulder. 

Sebastian quirked an eyebrow. “What? Just you but more sleezy?”

Kurt scoffed. “No. Me but better. Hotter, more adventurous. I thought you were a much better fit for Blaine.”

Sebastian grabbed the Jack Daniels and took a large swig. He shook his head as he lowered the bottle. “Did you just call me hot, Kurt?” 

Kurt laughed, the sound was bright and lilting and Sebastian knew he had to be drunker than he felt because he wanted to hear that sound again. Kurt’s hand came down on Sebastian’s thigh to steady himself. “Don’t act like that’s a crazy thought, Sebastian. In another world, where I wasn’t so terrified of you stealing Blaine from me, we maybe could have been friends.”

Kurt’s hand was warm on his thigh and his mouth went dry from the contact. Noone but Blaine has touched him like that in a very long time, and that had always been strictly platonic.

“Do you know why I hated you?” he said, pushing those strange thoughts away.

Kurt’s smile was crooked as he gestured for Sebastian to continue.

“The moment I saw Blaine, I fell a little in love, an experience I’m sure you understand,” Kurt nodded his ascent, “but you had him. And you two were so… happy and perfect. And I never stood a chance.”

It was Kurt’s turn to roll his eyes. “That’s bullshit and we both know it.”

Sebastian gawked at him. “You haven’t had to listen to drunk Blaine talk about you. The poor boy fully believes you’re soulmates.”

“And you apparently haven’t seen the way Blaine looks at you, especially when he thinks you’re not looking. The longing is so palpable it’s almost sickening.” Kurt said, bumping his shoulder against Sebastian’s.

“And how often have you been in the same room as us since you dumped him?”

“I don’t have to be. Marley and Tina take enough videos and pictures of you two together it’s hard to miss. I’m definitely not stupid for believing you two were dating even if it’s not ‘facebook official’” he said, removing his hand for just a moment to make quotation marks before returning it to it’s place of Sebastian’s thigh, a little closer to his inseam than before. Sebastian swallowed the gasp that almost escaped his mouth. “I just assumed Blaine didn’t want to rub it in my face.”

“Well you’re still crazy if you think he’d actually choose me over you.” Sebastian said. “Maybe… maybe before Thanksgiving. Maybe I could have won. But the second you started talking to him again, it was over for me. I wasted my chance with chivalry and respecting his boundaries,” he scoffed. 

“He’s changed since you two started–” Kurt gestured aimlessly like he couldn’t name what they had started, “--you know. He’s… happier. Which seems wild but he’s genuinely happier. It’s not fake anymore. He’s angry when he’s angry and sad when he’s sad, but that means that when he’s happy, he’s actually happy, and not just pretending for everyone else. Even with him hiding his disownment and what happened with Eli, he’s still been more genuine with me than he’s ever been.”

Sebastian blinked at him and Kurt shifted onto his knees next to Sebastian, studying him for a minute. Sebastian wanted to squirm under his gaze but he held fast. He would not let Kurt Hummel make him squirm in his own room, on his own fucking bed.

Kurt lifted a tentative hand to Sebastian’s cheek, gently cupping his face. Sebastian shivered and leaned into the touch before he could stop himself.

“You’re good for him, Sebastian Smythe. In fact, I think you’re better for him than I am. And… I think I’m okay with that now.”

Sebastian breathed in sharply. “It doesn’t matter,” he whispered, not able to fully speak it into existence at full volume. “He’ll never choose me over you.”

Sebastian felt a tear slip down his cheek, unbidden. Kurt caught it with the pad of his thumb, stroking Sebastian’s cheek gently, even after it was gone.

His gaze drifted down to Kurt’s lips, his head swimming with how close Kurt was and how gently he was holding him. Kurt’s gaze followed the same path on Sebastian’s face and he shifted up on his knees, leaned in slowly. Sebastian knew he shouldn’t. But he just needed to know. He needed to understand why Blaine chose Kurt after everything. Sebastian closed the gap between them, one hand coming up to cup the back of Kurt’s head and the other gripping the back of his thigh to tug him fully on top of Sebastian.

Kurt gasped as he fell into the kiss. It was tentative, soft, and exploratory. Neither interested in taking control, just flowing together. Sebastian’s tongue darted out, pressing softly to Kurt’s lips in a request that Kurt gladly accepted, parting his lips as his free arm wrapped around Sebastian’s back, pulling their chests tight together.

The minutes bled together, neither one interested in parting. Sebastian could feel his body responding to the weight of Kurt on his lap and the way his fingertips dug into his back. His mind had gone pleasantly blank, nothing existed in the world except for this room and the boy on top of him. 

The pounding on the door ripped them apart, both of them panting as Kurt scrambled off of Sebastian and across the room, a hand pressed to his chest to still his rapidly beating heart. 

Sebastian, quickly wiped his arm across his mouth and checked his hair in the mirror before looking through the peephole. He thunked his forehead against the door with a soft groan before opening it. 

“Took you long enough, you never sleep that he–” Jeff’s sentence cut off when he saw Kurt standing in the corner, arms wrapped around himself. His gaze flicked up and down Kurt’s disheveled appearance and guilty face before he looked back to Sebastian and his kiss bitten lips.

“Don’t,” Sebastian said when Jeff opened his mouth. “Just don’t.”

Jeff’s eyes darted back and forth between them, his gaze steely. “Blaine needs his laptop,” he finally said. 

Sebastian nodded and stepped back to let Jeff in. Kurt hastily collected the laptop and cord and brought it over to him.

Sebastian took the laptop before Jeff could grab it. “Don’t tell Blaine,” he said.

 Kurt’s head snapped to him. “Sebastian…”

“We’ve been drinking. Emotions are high. It didn’t mean anything.” He was staring at Jeff as he said this so he didn’t have to look at Kurt as his head ducked in shame. 

Jeff looked between them, but he nodded slowly. “I won’t,” he said but there was a clear edge of “but you better tell him.” Sebastian ignored it and handed the laptop over to him. 

Sebastian leaned heavily against the door after Jeff left. His mind was racing, all the thoughts he should have had during the kiss flooding his mind.

Kurt touched his shoulder gently but Sebastian jerked away. “Don’t, Hummel,” he hissed, grabbing the bottle of whiskey to try and rinse the taste of Kurt, of shame, out of his mouth. 

“We have to tell Blaine,” Kurt said, his voice wavering as he attempted to be firm. 

Sebastian shook his head. “No, we don’t. Knowing will only hurt him.”

“We can’t just lie to him!” 

“His best friend and his ex makeout behind his back? How would that make you feel? Would you ever forgive him?” Angry tears sprung to Sebastian’s eyes. “You might have gotten used to life without him, but I can’t lose him, do you understand?”

Kurt just gaped at him. “We were drunk,” he whispered, “he’ll understand.”

“I’m not willing to take that chance.”

why i joined tumblr and why i ship byler- cause i want to info dump cause i can

i wanna tell everyone why i got on tumblr because i can and i want to

so i got on tumblr because of byler during august. i started shipping byler during july.

i was kinda late to the stranger things party and i didnt actually watch it until may of 2022, but funny enough, it WASNT because of season 4 at all actually. my friend just really really wanted me to watch it because she thought id like it. she was riiiiiggghhthttttt.

yeah lmfao i didnt watch stranger things cause there was so much hype around season 4, i watched it because i wanted something gay to watch cause my heart stopper hyperfixation had just gone away and i still needed something gay to watch. i dm my friend saying "hey, do you have anything gay to watch because i need to watch something gay" and she gave me a list and was like "richie from IT is gay" and "will from stranger things is gay" and of course MY brain translated this to "mike is gay" because of notions from before hand i had about this little known to me character mike and also the fact that i knew that finn wolfhard played richie so i mistook will for mike because i was thinking the FCU and- yeah

so yeah i watched stranger things because a) my frined really wanted me to and b) the knowlege that mike was gay and thats what pushed me

anyways to safe to say i was THOROUGHLY confused when they started pulling the mike and el narraitve cause i LEGITEMATELY just thought it was straight canon like genuinelly- i had already imagined what i thougt the coming out scene would be like for him- LMFOAOOOO

anyways back on track- so then mike and el kissed and ill admit i was a lil disappointed but i was like fuck it ig theyre cute and then proceeded to be BLINDEDDDDDD by comp het. twas a very sad three next seasons for me in retrospect 😔

cause i got on pinterest andnndndnd yk naturally statrted filling my feed with stranger things stuff and of course i loved will cause he was gay and that made me so like omgggggg yass hes gay and that makes me so happy- but like i didnt ship byler- I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA GET TO SEE ONE DUDE IN THE VERY LAST SCENE HELP 💀🖐 i now realize im allowed to hold myself to better standards

so everytime i would see something byler related id be like, yeahhhhhhh its cute but not for me </3 cause i was like "yeah will likes mike but obvi mike doesnt like will back 🙄" and i thought it was a lil kookie and also was a firm believer that mike was straight cause yk i love throwing away all my suspicions that were raised while watching season 4 yk i love just forgetting everything 💀

yeah so then i started paying more attention to the byler posts on my pinterest page and i started reading theroies, all of which were tumblr screen shots and i started really convinceing myself- still was on the fence but-

the one post, and one of the first posts that i read. and the post that conviced me was "Why I no longer think Mike Wheeler is Bi, but Gay" yk the iconic post from @kaypeace21? yeah so i read that and was like "fuck im convinced" and then i proceeded to read the entirety of the byler slides over the course of a 3 day period and fully fully convinced myself

and yeah i kept looking at theories on pinterest screen shotted from tumblr and yk byler was my everything (and still very much is) and i loved pinterest and spent all of my time on there and- 💀 i read- i read w- wh- wattpad fics 💀😟 BUT ITS OKAY because i actually found a pretty good collection of one shots on there but- nah man after one specific fic i found i had to call it quits cause i couldnt handle it anymore 💀💀💀💀

and then i found one poster on pinterest that would just do daily updates on the byler tag on tumblr and eventuallyyyyyy i decided tumblr looked really fun and i was tired of just watching afar tired of WAVING FROM A WINDOW WOOOOAAHHHOWOWAHHHOOOHHH

yeah so i decided enough was enough and i wanted to be directly at the source and part of the action

the "100" on the spaceship were NEVER exactly one hundred. bc bellamy got inside so they were 101. but during the landing 2 kids died. so they were 99. there is not a single moment in this serie called "the 100" were they are one hundred. this fact is driving me crazy

im gonna respond to criticisms about adventure time that i saw in a twitter thread bc im bored and have feelings and thoughts

the most frequent reply to the thread was that people believe finn’s breakup with flame princess was stupid and, at worst, was an attempt by the female writers to make the male protagonist Finn as dislikeable as possible.

i don’t think i’ve ever met a single fan of adventure time who thinks “yeah that finn the human guy? he sucks. totally dislikeable protagonist.” i have to believe these people simply watched up to this episode and then quit the show. they didn’t see any of the followup. they didn’t watch finn grow up. they didn’t see the episode where finn acknowledges specifically what he did wrong and makes amends with flame princess. i just simply do not understand this criticism.

WHAT SHOW ARE U WATCHING? GO WATCH THE SHOW CALLED “ADVENTURE TIME” AVAILABLE ON MAX AND HULU

ppl won’t shut the fuck up about rebecca sugar even when she’s NOT a show runner

moving onto princess bubblegum. now call me crazy but i’ve always liked princess bubblegum as a character. i also understand where a lot of this criticism comes from and im able to qualify that my affinity towards her character comes with a fair bit of nuance as well as coming from a place of bias via naivete

the idea that the show turns a blind eye to her abuses is absurd to me. the show explicitly shows her hurting characters that we care about, and it in no way is framed as good. it acknowledges her flaws, which is why we the audience are aware of them. and in-universe I think she is quite literally called out by almost every major character lmao does the show punish her enough? well that’s like, an interesting question to ask and a fun way to think about the show and her character. what does princess bubblegum deserve? well we know she got usurped and exiled for some time. that gave her some time to reflect a bit.

now you don’t necessarily have to think of that as a redemption arc. at the very least the show took the opportunity to show us other facets of her character. she can be vulnerable, she can be kind, she can feel remorseful. and she does, like, improve in my opinion. in “The Thin Yellow Line” princess bubblegum has a whole speech condemning her idolization, saying she’s “just a person, like all of you” it’s quite wholesome. It’s further reinforced in “High Strangeness” when she apologizes to tree trunks for trying to colonize space and inadvertently infecting her alien children with candy goo (lmao i know it sounds ridiculous but watch the episode lol) obviously i’m not gonna sit here and be like “princess bubblegum is great and was  completely redeemed and a morally exemplary paragon to be revered by all” but like, come on twitter. you’re not at all convincing me here

now im gonna talk about his one!! the animation!! i have a lot of ways i like to think about how the style/animation/tone/format of this show changes over time. the central pillar of these is exactly in line with the shows most prominent theme: growing up. finn ages from 12 to 17 and a lot of what the show explores is the transition from “boyhood” to “manhood” and how it’s messy, nonlinear, painful, joyful, and rich with new experiences. i think the stylistic changes, even if they can also be explained by ward stepping down as showrunner, also reinforce this theme fantastically. if we’re seeing the world through finn’s eyes, of course in his early years things are much more colorful, fantastical, and whimsical. and as he ages, we see the world more clearly, things seem more grounded, more mature.  that’s why i can’t really take any criticism in line with this seriously because it’s just too well done it works too dang well.  and don’t get me started on how this theme extends to all the other characters. i could literally go on but i’ve already made my point hehe.

oh my god I need to go feral about jrwi right now

(spoilers for jrwi riptide up to episode 95 bc thats where I am right now) this is going to be a long nonsense ramble that jumps around a lot just so you know

godddddddd I love albatrio, they make me really happy, but also really sad vbhjhdj

seeing like how much they've grown over the course of the campaign makes me really emotional, and like learning about their backstory stuff and their similarities and differences from eachother. gill and jay understand eachother more than like chip and gill for example, because both were raised to be weapons and to see things very black and white. jay went undercover because she wanted to find out who killed her sister, under the idea that all pirates were evil. gill was raised to think that all humans were evil and must be killed, but as soon as he comes to the surface he finds out thats not true, even if he second guessed sometimes like after the things with episode 15. and seeing how differently episode 15 chip handled their fighting to episode 86 is so much character development, he knows how much it meant to gill and he stayed up all night to build an arena so that they could fight, and it was a much more fair fight, because he knew he shouldn't have kept the secret about edyn from gill and im rahhhhhh

also when theyre just having fun together, I love them a lot, theyre so ridiculous /aff like theyre a pirate crew and they make a waterslide out of ice like its a cruise ship, they have the worlds most intense game of tag/hide and seek because one of them can fly, the other is a fish guy, one has such wild stealth or persuasion or something I forget which rolls that he automatically gets at least a 25, in the weirdest way possible they are very evenly matched, and theyre doing that to make the small boy they keep on their ship happy, who also happens to have a belt of giant strength and so chip is very outmatched here as the only like normal human besides his high rolls vbjdfd

at the carnival when we got to see flashbacks to how they were as kids it makes me really emotional, gill was covered in bruises, wearing armor too big for him, holding a sword he could barely lift. chip was incredibly malnourished, he looked like he hadn't eaten a day in his life, and jay looked like the more 'normal' kid of the three, but knowing her family her childhood wasn't great either.

theres so much depth to all of these characters and it makes me go wild, and like everything is connected even if we dont know it at the start. chip was one of the black rose pirates as a kid before it crashed, drey, jays uncle, was too. so was Finn, gills grandpa.

chip has said before that he didnt believe in destiny until he met gill, but now he can't imagine a life without them, and I think about sometimes how different things could have been. if jay hadn't taken that undercover mission, or if they left a day earlier or later. if they left at any different time they might not have found gill, freshly exiled, just floating in the sea.

they mean so much to eachother and its so so clear. they find out their best friend might be doomed to destroy the world in some capacity? "I would drown the world for you" is chips response. they are the trio ever. "we're not just friends, we're a crew"

they are simultaneously the worst and best pirates in existence, they dont know the pirate code, the only rule of it they know is 'dont piss your pants' yet somehow they manage to follow it better than most pirates, because they actually care about helping people and being honorable and things. they were a crew held together by trust for the longest time, rather than any actual oath, and when they did make an oath it was sitting on a rooftop, comforting chip. and the oath they came up with was "I do solemnly swear to fuck shit up, to help those in need, and to be the best goddamn pirates anyone has ever seen."

something something about cycles, about how chip keeps nearly breaking down realizing that hes been trying to recreate what he had as a kid and the guilt from that

something something gillion realized because of his friends that the teachings of the undersea were wrong, that he was raised as a weapon, that he didnt deserve the awful awful things they did to him, that hes worth more than what he can do for other people, that hurting himself, throwing himself into danger all the time, hurts his friends too

something something jay, realizing that not all pirates are bad, and that she gets to be her own person, defined not by her family but by her choices, and that even when she betrayed her friends they didnt give up on her, even when she quite literally shot them

its gill hyping jay up when she has to call her grandma, its jay comforting gill when he had to face the council again when he was stuck in the dimension bc of the deck of many things, its chip trying to sand out the 'millennium chipper' from the ship, thinking they don't need him, and jay carving it back in because they need him more than he knows. things like that

also the less interaction-ey things, like them all making deals with Niklaus to save other people, considering themselves to be worth less than the crew even though theyre supposed to all be equals. its chips seal with Niklaus being where a tramp stamp would go vjbhdfjbh and also having a constantly updating tattoo across his ass of how much debt theyre in from the goldfish loan, its gill constantly showing their money off the ship to appease said goldfish and pay their taxes- theyre a pirate crew who pays taxes. what the fuck guys. one of chips pranks was literally just drawing boobs on their pirate flag. its jay getting bit by Anastasia and gill, asexual icon, stopping drowning just to go "what the fuck." when she was into it vdbjhbdfhj, also for some reason jay is into mimes. actually no she broke into a maximum security prison in a clown costume. theyre ridiculous vdbjhfvh

aaaaaaaa i dont have the words for the rest of this but just the way they comfort eachother and stuff, like chip knowing he wont be good at comforting gill so he asks jay to do it because of her similar background to gill and stuff, I just rahhhh theyre co-captains !! theyre closer than friends !!! co-captains or a crew really is just the best way to define how they feel about eachother and I like them a lot and they love eachother a lot and yeah I rotate them in my mind

Summary- Sleepover movie nights are one thing with a friend. They're a complete other when both friend's crushes are invited. An invite did more good than harm.

Glen and I were going to the Grab n' Go before heading to my place. It was Thursday and we luckily had a four day weekend. We would be at my house mostly. Walking in there were the usuals. Three kids from our school, vance hopper, and his goons. "I'll get snacks you get drinks." I said. "Works for me." Glen replied. "Try not to ruin Vance's game again. I don't know how many more times I can save your ass." I told him. He just flipped me off.

Walking the snacks, I knew glen liked the baked pringles. Fucking weirdo. I got his cheetos. I also got my favorite bbq chips. I also got a small container of oreos for us both. When I made it to the candy isle, I ran into a very familiar face. Robin Arellano. I didn't dislike him at all, quite the opposite actually. I had a major crush of him since like 4th grade. I knew Glen has liked Robin's best friend Finnsy since the 6th grade. Very rom comy if you ask me.

"Hey Ares." Robin had noticed I was in the isle. "Hi." Hi, really I sounded like a fucking dumbass. "Let me geuss. You and Glen having a movie night." "How'd you know." "You get him the same snacks every week." That was true. Glen did come over quite often since our other friends were mostly busy on weekends and lived too far away. "And let me guess another tutoring session with Finney." I said grabbed Glen's starburts he liked, which got me closer to Robin. "Yeah, I'm not the best student." "Well, if thats all your doing I'm sure the four of us can have a movie night. I rented texas chainsaw massace, halloween, psycho and nightmare on elm street." "That Ares is a very tempting offer. We're in." Robin and I had gotten the rest of our snacks together. There was so much candy the four of us would pass out trying to eat it all. And Glen was definitely going to kill me for inviting his crush to movie night. "Where's Finney? I thought you two were attached at the hip?" "I could say the same for you and Glen but Finn's getting sodas." "So is glen."

Speaking of, they both showed up. Telling both Finney and Glen the plan of movie night we were all in agreement. Robin and Finney would stop by their houses and take their things and would come to my place. "Your folks won't mind?" Finney asked me. "Nah, my moms never there and if she are she's sleeping." "Awesome we'll be over later." Robin said him in Finney walking away together.

When me and Glen got to my place he was a wreck. "DUDE!" He yelled at me. "ITS NOT MY FAULT I SWEAR!" I yelled back. "SO YOU DIDN'T INVITE THEM BOTH TO MOVIE NIGHT!" " Ok maybe its a little my fault." "No fucking shit." "Hey, you like Finney this is perfect for no." "No it's not, He probably doesn't like guys." "Hey, dont say that. I'm sure he likes you." "Anyway look at you and Robin getting along." "The store was nothing." "Nothing my ass. He likes you." "No fucking way. Have you seen how he looks at you. He hangs off your every word." "No he doesn't. He just listens when I talk." "Sure." Before we could continue talking someone knocked on the door. It was already 5. When I went to open it, I saw it was Finney and Robin.

"Hey. Come on in." "Nice place." Robin said. Him and Finney put their stuff in the corner of the room. "You've been here before Robin." I told him. Glen had put the movie in. Both Glen and Finney were the first to sit. They were both talking together. Doesn't like guys my ass.

"Start it, I'll get the snacks." I said. Glen started Psycho. "I'll help." Robin said. Getting up to follow me into my kitchen. "Just curious." He started as I put the popcorn in mircowave. "Hmm." I relpied as I started it. "Are you and Glen like together?" "What. Like Glen in the living room Glen." "Yeah. Do we know another Glen." "I guess not. To answer your question no. No we are not. We both like other people." I said. The microwave went off. Before turning I saw what I think was a smile on Robin's face. Maybe, just maybe he did like me back.

We had now finished Psycho and Halloween and just started nightmare on elm street. I got us all blankets and pillows a little bit ago. Sometime ago Glen and Finn fell asleep. Glen's head tilted onto Finn's shoulder. Again, Not like guys my ass. I had started to feel tired. Robin and I were still sitting close to the tv. At some point my head feel on Robin's shoulder. "Ares." Robin said my name. I assume to see if I was asleep. "Yeah." "You said you liked someone. Do I know them?" "Yeah, You know them pretty well actually." "Oh" He went silent for a moment. "Is it Finn?" He asked. I smiled at that. Him trying to figure this out was funny. "No, you know him a little better than you know Finney." He went silent again.

"It's me, It's it." "Yeah, It's you Robin." I picked my head up to look at him. A look of... relief was on his face. "That's great because I like you too." "Wait really?" "Yeah I've liked you for a while now." "That's good to know." "Can I hold you?" Robin asked me. "Yeah." Robin held me in his arms. It was sweet. He was sweet. Never ever would I have thought one of Glen and my movie nights would end like this. This was just perfect.

AKA: IWUIMRBATAAWAAU!?!

Picking up again, the party find themselves aboard the Pelican coming close to the end of their journey. The night before they all touch down in Krenic they settle themselves in peacefully to bed, and after a time they find themselves dozing… slumbering as the airship sails through the night.

Dwelling within their dreams they find themselves standing within a grassy foggy plain in the dead of night. They glance around and see no one else around until suddenly…

Han and Rokka see each other Plum and Finn see each other Keva and Psalm see each other Cimmorro and Vinny see each other

As the duos stare at one another they feel their vision go foggy, both of them move to catch one another as they see the other stagger, and suddenly they feel themselves lose their sight entirely. They feel as if parts of themselves meld into each other, a strange sensation pulling at their minds. Just as suddenly they awake again lying in bed in the dead of night.

As they glance around in the darkness they suddenly notice they dont recognise these hands or your body, Plum in fact awakens in a strange box they certainly didn't go to sleep in.

Han: han thinks weird dream! and goes to morning stretch ^_^ gotta get them muscles moving ! Rokka: rokka looking at his hands "where...where did my fur go...?" Han: still doing exercises "hm? what are you talking about? its right here-" han just stops mid sentence and stares Rokka: rokka looks at her and shrieks at the top of his lungs "YOU- ME- WH- I- WHO- AHHHHHHH" Han: han immediately grabs her (rokkas?) ears "OH GODS STOP SCREAMING THIS HURTS SO BAD" Rokka: he looks at her and then at himself and start touching his "missing" ears, tail, snout, head fur "I'M SORRY I- OH GOD I'M FURLESS DON'T LOOK!!!" he goes to grab a blanket that doesn't fully cover hans body Han: han tries grab the blanket back and pull it away from him "YOU ARENT FURLESS IDIOT WE'RE IN EACH OTHERS BODIES !!!!!!!! Psalm: he unironically thinks he's having the usual weird dream and goes back to sleep. Keva: meanwhile keva sits up immediately, brain slowly processing that she is not on the side of the room she's supposed to be, and turns to look at psalm but all she sees is herself. looks down at herself, hands patting down her torso, checks under the blankets to see hooves and a tail... oh my fucking gods. "psalm!" she doesn't bother to be quiet Psalm: The sound of someone yelling his name with his voice wakes him up more, but he doesn't question it much, just rolling over and going "Keva? Something amiss?" Wait a minute.. Keva: keva tries to get out of bed but finds herself unused to not having feet, and practically crumples to the floor to a loud thud, taking some of her blanket with her. "oh my gods, what the FUCK?" in a bit of a panic she asks "this... did we do this? is this isn't because of that book, is it?" Psalm: At the sound of Keva(?) falling Psalm sits up abruptly  and wow, his line of sight is so low now. He gives her a once over, concerned, before saying, "Somehow I doubt a children's book that's basically just an aquatic picture show has the ability to do this." He frowns. It's always something. Not a single day without trouble. Keva: keva manages to stand up with some help with balance from the bed, but she wobbles and falls back on her butt onto the mattress "how the fuck do you... wait, ghester?" she calls out Ghester: you hear ghester speak up when prompted in both your heads "i believe something strange is going on..." Keva: "YEAH NO SHIT" Psalm: "Whose head are you in right now??"

Cimmorro: i think cimm is more or less same rn, thinking wow what the hell... too much wizard algebra i'm merging into vinny lol funny. rubs his eyes, sits up and sees his sleeping body across the cabin and jasper and he's like ? ?? ? ?? ? and practically just shrieks [rubbing his eyes aggressively] "what the fuck" Vinny: as you shriek vinny startles where he lies enough to nearly topple jasper as he shouts back in surprise, as he squints at you across the room he makes a wide eyed surprised expression, automatically feeling for his glasses that arent on his side of the room Cimmorro: cimm groans and continues to rub his eyes after that and vinny can see him blinking a lot as if to try and make sense of the fucked up vision "is the room full of smoke right now or... ARE WE ON FIRE??" Vinny: "o-on fire!?" you hear vinny stumble around as if something he's not aware of is happening in the room, he puts a hand to his throat as he speaks surprised as he glances around "no..? you're just...." he stares at you again dumbfounded Cimmorro: "i'm what? i can't fucking see!" he tries to get out of bed but standing all wobbly thanks to the absence of the weight of his tail Vinny: as you try and hobble out of bed hes snapped back into moving "oh uh-!" he squints in the dark and finds his glasses, handing them to you "this'll probably help?" Cimmorro: cimm lets vinny put it on him then he just blinks again x100 cimm yells again "WHAT? HELLO??? WHAT DID YOU DO"

Cimmorro sits for a moment to check if he can still use his divine magic, he soon feels a sensation like something gazing at him warmly for a moment before it disappears. He flexes his new hand and feels the divine magic coursing through his hand, though without his symbol itll be hard to cast anything.

Finn: finn has the creeping suspicion that something may have happened. he stares at the ceiling - or tries to, since his lack of dark vision doesnt exactly make that possible. hes already patted himself down. and yet, he thinks, if he just lies here it might just be a realistic nightmare rather than reality he will have to deal with. Plum: "what the fuck?" plum says out loud and starts rattling at the lid of the box Finn: "it opens normally" finn hisses, and if he werent so furious at the fact that plum is treating his coffin that way he'd be alarmed at the voice that leaves his mouth right now Plum: "what the fuck is 'normally'?" they quip, a bit too panicked to notice their own voice talking to them. they do however push open the lid and sit up, and are again surprised by being able to see their body on the bed in the dark Finn: "like that" finn scoffs as he hears the lid open and rolls his eyes Plum: "don't roll your eyes at me," plum says flatly, unamused. "what the fuck is this," they say, and then pinch their eyes, exasperated Finn: finn frowns at the fact that they were looking hard enough at him to see him rolling his eyes but lets it go with a sigh "quite frankly; i dont know and im not eager to find out" of course they couldnt have a normal journey. of course not "but i imagine we arent the only ones afflicted" Plum: plum is a bit surprised finn drops it. i guess the current matter at hand is more pressing. "this must be some retaliation for fucking around in figstup like that," plum mutters. "i'm gonna go find vinny" they shuffle to get out of the coffin, feeling very unfamiliar with their new height Finn: "ill accompany you... theres no point staying here now that youve come to as well" he hops out of bed and feels small despite not being able to see...  he also wants plum to be careful with his body, but he doesnt say that, he feels around aimlessly as he stumbles forward

Members of each room hear outside their doors, the sounds of a commotion in the hall. With her new ears Han finds as she pays attention she notices some distant shouts from across the ship as well.

Han: you see han perk up and flex the ears "somethings weird... i thought it was just us but the whole ship sounds chaotic.... bro this is craaaaaaaaazy"😵 Rokka: "you adjust to it! don't worry!" he stands up and goes 'woah' at the height "i knew you were tall but you're TALL" he looks around briefly before grinning at her compliment Han: grins back, happy at being called tall 😄 she gets off the floor and tries to reach the ceiling "its weird NOT being that tall... i wont have to dodge the doors now, i guess..." han looks around to find rokkas pants so she stops shlanging every where Rokka: he tries to lean in towards the sound, feeling a bit off with the unheightened senses, "do ya think we should check on the others?" Han: "yea, theyve been screaming for the last 10 minutes loooollll" Rokka: he nods "ROGER THAT!" Han: as  han puts on pants she jumps and turns to you again "do you have.............. squirrel running around your fur" Rokka: "OH YEAH THEY'RE FROM THE BERRY!" he point at each animal "thats rosie, thats joe, that belle, that peter, and thats skipper!" Han: han twitches like something just bit her "do you just keep them on you?? i think theyre hungry... well, lets get dressed, and get some food, catch the others" Rokka: "my fur is home to them 👆 ☺ "

Psalm attempts to summon Ghester and finds himself successful, and thus finds himself mostly unconcerned with the trials at hand.

Keva: "auguguh" keva means to scratch her head in frustration but "OW! fuck" scratches her hand against horns "gods, okay maybe the fucking wizards know something about this shit" she keeps a hand to the walls of the ship as she walks unsteadily to cimmorro and vinny's room Psalm: Psalm just rolls back over, tired, and calls out "Let me know if you find out anything."

Keva opens the door and glances out, before she can get to anyone's rooms she spies two people in the hallway in sort of altercation with something in the dark

Keva: i shout "HEY!" to get their attention

As she does she places herself in full view, she sees two people being attacked in the hallway by what looks to be some sort of strange translucent ghost. As she calls out it turns its head and gives her its attention, letting out a shrill cackle it smiles and turns, coming directly for her instead

She desperately feels around Psalm's pockets, yanks out a dagger she probably can't tell is poison, and then makes an attack, striking at the ghost. Psalm lies on his side and watches as Keva leaves, absolutely zero desire to deal with this keeping him firmly planted in bed. That is until he hears an unnerving laugh from beyond the door attack.

Psalm: "What is that?"

Han: han stops in her tracks "grab weapon-- uhm, which weapon?!" Rokka: reaches for his scimitar "UH- DO, DO YOU TAKE MINE?" he holds out his swords Han: "DO YOU KNOW HOW TO USE LONGBOW?!" Rokka: "NO!!" Han: "THEN GIVE IT TO ME !!"

Vinny: "AGH...I JUST.. gave you my glasses?" he also glances towards the door at the strange sounds Cimmorro: "NO--" he stops as realizes his volume and lowers it but still frantic "no, i mean, THIS" gesturing at their bodies "can you do something about it?!!" Vinny: "I-I don't even know how this happened! I mean, maybe b-but id need some information?" he glances down at his body again then around the room "what's going on out here..." Cimmorro: "goddess, i don't... i don't know!" cimm goes to scramble to get his holy symbol and sPELLBOOK

Cimmorro: after stumbling over his bed to grab his belongings, cimm wobbly makes his way to the door while adjusting vinny's glasses on him, confused and frazzled. he pauses midway, being distracted by his own body in front of him again, it's so strange how it's so different to looking at a mirror. but he admires himself all the same. grabbing his (vinny's) face for a sec smiling half amused and proud. he looks good! handsome! it's not until another noise outside gets him out of his little trance and looks towards the door again "sounds like some grand fun happening outside," he gives vinny a look again then wobbles toward the door while cussing under his breath at how annoying it is to walk now Vinny: he feels himself stand shock still when cimmorro randomly stops to manhandle his chin but he's too perturbed by his own face staring at him to get too embarrassed by it, he also has no idea why the man even did it before he busts the door open and begins shouting to psalm (?) shaking his head he doesn't bother to ask and grabs his spellbook quickly as he peeks out behind him.

Jasper looks between the two confused, seated on Vinny’s shoulder. In contrast to the others Finn and Plum stop short before leaving the room as the others rush out, Finn entranced seeing himself again properly.

Finn: finn is entirely focused on seeing his body from outside of it... hes always been wondering what he looked like now. if the portraits did him any justice... he'll have to find an opportunity later to look at it eye to eye. finn thinks he makes for a rather pathetic figure already though. he looks starved, washed up, a shell of his former self. he shouldve expected as much. yet, at least a glimmer of his beauty seemed to remain "i believe it goes without saying but i expect you to take the utmost care of my vessel" Plum: plum turns around and looks at finn blankly. "if i didn't ask the same of you were you planning on treating my body carelessly like some doll?" Finn: finn looks down on plum despite being very much below them. looking down on his own physical form comes easily though, he finds. its no trouble to speak as he always does thanks to that "who do you take me for?" Plum: "that's my point. i trust you, so it does, in fact, go without saying that i'm not going to mess around in your body either." plum just sighs. "which means we had better hurry up and figure this out." Finn: finn is surprised to hear that plum trusts him but isnt displeased. he feels a vortex of emotions surfacing inside himself. he just needs to... "i wont hold us up any more but there is one thing i must ask of you" there is urgency in his voice Plum: "sure, shoot." Finn: "i place a significant amount of my trust in you as well" he pauses "and because i cant shake the feeling we're about to get mixed up in something larger i want to get a good look at myself just once. i wont be able to concentrate on whatever we're about to deal with if i dont" Plum: plum is a bit dumbfounded by the request, but after a moment understanding dawns on them. that makes them feel a sudden awkward, kind of melancholy pang, that they ignore. "that's very true, knowing us. okay." they say a bit clumsily. "should i-?" they move to hand finn the candle, but then pause and then light one of the candles in their room instead. maybe that'd be better. Finn: finn tilts his head and watches "its okay. just kneel for me" he doesnt take his eyes off plum, excited but also wary of whats to come when he gets to look into his own eyes Plum: plum kneels. the attention would make them feel more awkward but something about it not being their body buffers the feeling. Finn: finn cups their face and tilts it in the light. he thinks about how odd the red eyes look, almost like they dont belong on him. his hair is a mess but it reminds him of manga, hes grateful for that. finn used to look at his own reflection all the time, despite everything hes forgotten, hes not forgotten his own face. its different now even though he hasnt aged. it comes with the weight loss and perhaps general state of misery, he suspects. his skin looks wretched. he looks like that rat, sammy. "even though its you, its me" he whispers uncharacteristically softly "i realize now this might be strange for you plum" he says so, but only slowly lets go of them. he thought he'd never get to see himself again at all. this as selfish as he can allow himself to be. "... thank you" his hands are gone from plums face now and he looks away for the first time, inhaling deeply "that meant a lot to me. i know youll want to go now... im okay now" Plum: plum straightens up out of their usual relaxed slouch when finn starts touching them, feeling very much like they're being inspected by a doctor right now they sit primly with their hands on their knees. never mind, this is awkward, but they don't say as much because finn just looks sad, it's making plum a bit nervous. "it's fine," they say. "it's not stranger than me being in your body in the first place, anyhow. i'm sure the others can handle whatever all that screaming is about." Finn: "out of everyone my body couldve gone to, im relieved youre the one" because everyone else has a reason to do me harm he doesnt say. it wasnt the whole reason either so its fine. "i wish i shared your optimism regarding our party though" he grimaces and starts politely looking through plums stuff "im embarassed to say it, but im not entirely sure what my best means of fighting right now would be" he holds the hammer up "this or the dagger, im thinking... if youre alright with me wielding your body in close combat now" Plum: plum gives it a quick thought. "you know i'd say much the same." although they think cimmorro wouldn't be a bad choice either, but they definitely do not say this out loud to finn of all people. or vinny, sure. at the next comment they just shrug. "they'll figure it out. i honestly don't have much of a plan either. i really think you'll be of more use than me fighting right now, i'm not even going to try wielding your sword." they give permission for finn to fight with their body. "go ahead. i'm...not very sturdy though, so...." Finn: finn nods and carefully weighs their words in his mind "ill be careful..." he moves to open the door but looks at them again "you can bite people, if youre in a pinch. otherwise im afraid theres not much for you to do in my body that youre used to. i trust your judgement though" and he does. he then opens the door we are out of here!!!!! Plum: "ah, right,  gotcha," they nod, and out of curiosity run their tongue along their newly-acquired fangs. cool! they walk out a bit in front of finn despite being so used to walking behind others for protection, still feeling very weird about their height.

Back in the hallway, Han rushes out with her bow ready to take a shot, but seeing Keva directly across on the other side makes her hesitate. Finding herself worried the arrow will go through the wraith and hit Keva she pauses.

Keva: keva sees rokka(?) through the ghost and is about to say his name, but then clocks the bow... remembering that she and han had promised to teach him to use one, plus what happened to her and psalm, she puts 2 and 2 together "HAN JUST SHOOT" Han: han pulls the bow and goes "FUCK" and attacks using the arrow as a dagger "I CANT JUST SHOOT DUMBASS ILL HIT YOU"

Flailing wildly Han manages to stab through the wraith once, though it doesn't look too put off by the display, mostly amused. Psalm follows after, though he just sighs and folds his arms, with Keva standing there he's not really sure how to go about attacking the thing.

He fires off an eldritch blast, though unused to the way his arm hangs slightly differently the shot goes offside and hits the wall instead. Rokka follows after, unused to his new vantage point he only manages to get one slice through the being.

Psalm: He just goes 🥴 like this is actually kind of a pain in the ass but will actually like, you know, stand up LOL

Cimmorro jumps at the sight of the party jumping this thing right in front of their door but immediately clocks it as a wraith and lets forth a sacred flame, though it also ends up going wide.

Cimmorro: cimm clicks his tongue and just kinda goes like "GOOD EVENING?" at the guys by the door Han: han-rokka looking at cimm like 🥹 Keva: "what the FUCK is going on?!" Cimmorro: "i DON'T KNOW? WHO THE FUCK IS THIS?" POINTS AT THE GHOST Keva: "FUCK IF I KNOW!" Psalm: Psalms just watching Keva yell in his body like god that's so weird Vinny: vinny at cimm rn Han: han just plugging her ears Rokka: rokka finally realizing what theyre fighting and screams

Seeing the wraith Vinny makes a face before casting witch bolt, striking it. though it seems to brush it off a little, he then silently slides back to the side of the door to hide, opposite Cimmorro.

The wraith acts next letting out a laugh at the group beating its getting, it glances at Rokka’s scream and finds itself amused, it turns and jumps through his body and out the other side into the room with Cimmorro and Vinny dealing him necrotic damage in the process.

Rokka: rokka actually close 2 tears

Cimmorro takes the moment to try and recall what he knows about wraiths, he knows while not too stocky, they're resistant to most types of damage, and physical attacks from non magic weapons. It can phase through people and things and mostly hurts by touching others. If given the chance he also knows it can mess with the souls of the recently departed raising them to dance with them.

Cimmorro: cimm just kinda tenses up seeing the wraith slide in between them and then goes "THIS ENOUGH INFORMATION FOR YOU?" at vinny Vinny: he shrieks lmao

Keva acts quickly afterwards, closing in to slice at the wraith again.

Keva: keva's figured out that the trick to walking with hooves is that it's like walking on your toes

She stabs through it a little more annoyed this time as she leverages psalm's height in her favour and slices through it. It lets out a surprised little OoOoOoh, though not as much as she'd like, it was a substantial blow, she watches it phase a little bit in and out of view.

She moves afterwards to allow others the freedom to hit the wraith, listening to a nearby door she notes that she hears people murmuring in a confused manner behind it.

At the top of the next round Han follows up, looking around she notices that her vision is not normally like this. Realizing that Rokka must be blind right now she looks down to see if Rokka’s wearing her boots.

Han: she goes "aaah shit" and runs into the room to grab her boot dagger with the light spell on it

She throws the dagger, it cuts Rokka’s shoulder as it wizzes past, over the wraith’s head and into the room behind it. It gets itself stuck in the wall as Vinny yells at it zooming past.

Vinny: cimm like man vinny's gonna ruin my vocal chords Han: han screams very quietly 🥺 Rokka: "OW WHAT THE" Han: very high pitched "IM SORRY...."

Psalm and Rokka act next, the former casting chill touch on the wraith as Rokka attempts to slice it through with his scimitars. As Psalm steps forward and casts the spell the wraith looks over at him and shrugs it off completely, it takes no damage. It jeers and makes a silly face at him in reply.

Plum:

As the ghost jeers at Psalm, Rokka takes the moment its distracted to slice right through it. With an echoey cry its form finally crumbles and the group see it disappear from sight destroyed.

Cimmorro jogs over to Rokka to give him some healing as the party eyeball the hallway for any further threats in the area. Finn and Plum leave their room and notice the rest of the party in the hallway as well.

Finn: finn is looking at plum like 🤨 'should-we-still-go-find-vinny' Plum: plum looks at finn like....does anybody know what's going on

Psalm: just gonna lean against the wall and say "Do we switch back now or...?" Han: han picks up her dagger sadly.. Rokka: rokkas going to go back to his room and lie on the floor Cimmorro: cimm pats his back as he goes like "you're alright buddy.. get some rest.. 😟" Rokka: he just lets out a short and low "mhm" at vinny(?), not even bothering to look at him as he trudges back. he is so over this night

Keva: she slumps against the wall in relief when she clocks that the ghost is gone... reaches out and pats rokka on the shoulder... she also asks the two people that originally were being attacked "are you alright? what happened? Passengers: as you walk over one of them stands and thanks you for helping them in a rush, grabbing your hand and shaking it. the other one on the ground looks injured but nothing too serious, they remark they woke up in each others bodies, completely perplexed and came outside to look around, and were attacked in the hallway by the wraith out of nowhere

Keva calls over any members of the party that can provide further healing, pulling Cimmorro and Plum over towards her.

Cimmorro: cimm waddles over but not without giving 'psalm' a look. seeing the earlier dagger handling he guesses "kevster?" Keva: she watches vinny walk over, but the moment he says 'kevster' she knows. at this point keva's too tired to correct him. she sighs a "yeah" Cimmorro: he gives you a scrunched smile, one that's like 'another one of those days huh' before attending to the passenger Passenger: you clean up their wounds some, and take care of anything needing immediate attention, theyre looking better. they thank you the whole way through, as if a little embarrassed. Cimmorro: cimm waves a hand as if to tell them not to worry abt it, while smiling. he goes to follow after keva all curious

Keva then glances through the entrance way at the end of the hall, she sees the main room with the stairs heading above and belowdeck, and the entryways to the dining hall. In it she sots a couple of crewman in a fight with more wraiths, seems they're trying to protect some of the passengers, but all they've got are their fists and a crowbar.

Keva: keva closes her eyes and leans psalm's head back against the wall like 'not this shit again' for just a moment before she lifts her head back up and whispers "what do we do? we can't just leave them" Cimmorro: "definitely not. we should let the others know and keep the passengers in their cabins though i think." Keva: keva tells the other vengaboys that there are other wraiths, and tells the other two travelers to stay in their rooms

Plum: i haven't talked to anyone yet i'm gonna be like "anybody know what's going on?" Cimmorro: cimm raises a brow at finn(?) approaching "we all woke up to our bodies being swapped and ship's being raided by wraiths... who am i speaking to?" Plum: "plum," plum says bluntly. "so this is....?" Cimmorro: "cimmomo," he points at himself, then to psalm(?) "and kevster" Keva: keva turns to look at plum like this like 'i am so sick of this shit'

Plum: "oh so all the roommates then.." they look at keva also like i am also sick of this shit

Psalm seeing them walk off, decides to investigate the other end of the hallway. He spots a patron cowering around the corner, and in the bathing hall he sees crewman running around shoe less waving a bucket around frantically being chased by a wraith.

Psalm: Psalm like well since Keva ran off with my body I'll do the same 🤷‍♂️

He run’s into the room drawing Ghester, telling the crewman to get behind him as they spot him they waffle for a moment before dashing behind him. Seeing something new to mess with the wraith lets out a laugh and moves towards Psalm at great speed.

As the group slowly begin splitting up to tackle more of these ghosts, Han goes to check on Rokka apologetically as he lays on the floor in their room.

Han: han lies down on him like a blanket "im sorry" q_q Rokka: he lifts his head to look at her "sorry for what?" sniffling a bit Han: "for stabbing you...." 🤧 Rokka: placing his head back on the floor, he reaches out to gently pat her "no worries, it was just a nick...plus this is your body, i should have been more careful. i'm sorry 😢" Han: han stops her sniffling, confused "what were u crying about then?" she mutters "i didnt think it would be so hard to aim..." Rokka: "the ghost was so scary!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭" Han: "ohhhh... are you scared of ghosts??? i think theyre kind of silly" Rokka: "yes!! theyre so spooky...it went through my body!!!! i thought I was going to get my--your body possessed!!!" he huffs now getting annoyed by that Han: han listens to him vent patiently "hmm.. well... we wouldve done something about that... probably" o_O then gives him a thumbs up and grin "no worries" Rokka: he looks at her again, still weirded out that he's literally talking to himself, "i guess..." still not over the ghost but he is comforted by her words nonetheless, he looks towards the door "should we go help the others?" Han: han frowns and sighs "ye, i guess....  maybe ill get the hang of being tough lupin this time" takes the whip and dagger with her this time too, trying to find somewhere to stick it on rokkas body Rokka: he lets out a long sigh, "i was hoping you would say no," patting her again, "don't worry my body is pretty agile! you can get it down in no time! alrighty-- UPSIE DAISY!" he slowly gets up and walks towards the door with his scimitars in hand, "when will this night be over" he mutters to himself Han: han flips the dagger in her hand and passes it to you, pommel first "in case you get stuck in no light again" Rokka: he looks at her like 🥺 as he waits for her to lead the way so that he can hide behind her even tho he's the bigger one now lol "thank you" he pockets the dagger

At opposite ends of the ship, Psalm and Cimmorro let off separate attacks. Cimmorro casts guiding bolt at a wraith trying to get used to casting in his new body. It doesn't expect the sudden damage and lets out a pitched shriek, surprising the crewman trying to hit it. Psalm casts an eldritch blast, as he let the blast go he notes that it doesn't hurt the wraith as much as he'd like but its better than nothing.

Psalm: He's also gonna shout, "THERE ARE MORE IN THE BATHING HALL!" he turns to the crewman like "Go now, please." and gestures with his head down the hall behind him before turning back to the wraith.

Entering combat once more the rest of the party begins to act.

Finn: finn dashes in psalms(?) direction since he went alone...thats fucked up.... "vinny?" he tries Vinny: he looks at you start running glancing in both directions where the groups split and decides to run after you while making a worried face Finn: "vinny!" hes relieved the mans coming along... and that it is indeed vinny "i wish the circumstances of our first battle together would be different but at alas...." Vinny: he runs up and stands over you and squints "uh...i wouldnt really call this our first..?" maybe you really did forget the giant dog.." he glances up at the wraith in combat with psalm Psalm: Psalm looks at Vinny and Finn and says, deadpan as always, "Cimmorro, Plum...probably not.. unless the events of tonight are only affecting me and Keva tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if that were the case." he’s just muttering to himself like "I should've known there'd be more after we didn't change back" he's in a bad mood

Vinny let’s out a fire bolt towards the wraith in combat with Psalm, dealing it damage as it lets out another laugh.

Han: han looks left n right and seeing that people are piled on the left side decides to follow plum(?) AND CIMM(?) "plum person!! cimm person!! who are you and whats the situation" Finn: finn clicks his tongue and rolls his eyes. only one person could interrupt his alone time with vinny...and potentially his time with psalm. "its finn" he grits it out and motions in psalms general direction "see for yourself" Vinny: you see him turn his head quickly while running "OH, UH..VINNY! more wraiths!" and he points at the bathing room Han: han nods, already glazing over him and preparing to see how her whip works, as she points to herself "han," then points to the han behind "rokka" Rokka: rokka just raises his hand when han points at him Han: she gives vinny a smile tho unlike the glazing over finn "gotcha"

Back across the ship Plum casts ray of sickness at the wraith Cimmorro just damaged, they stand a little off balance but it seems to do the trick. Though not as strong as expected, the spell causes the wraith to pop in a display of green acid as it lets out a final shriek, fading into the air.

Following Plum's explosion of a wraith, the one in the bathing hall laughs and takes a slash at Psalm dealing him  necrotic damage as its arm phases through Keva's body.

Back at the other end of the ship Keva turns to Cimmorro and Plum to speak.

Keva: "i'm not going be much help against ghosts but if you keep them distracted i can get in a good hit" Cimmorro: cimm glances at you with a quick nod and focuses on what's in front of em

Keva dashes into the main room and slices through the remaining wraith with her dagger cutting through it. It lets out a surprised laugh seeing her come out of the door. The crewman eyes her surprised, but assumes she was responsible for the other wraith disappearing and gives a quick nod in thanks to her for jumping into the fray.

In response the wraith slashes at Keva with its hands, though Cimmorro lets out a quick silvery barbs, causing it to miss her. Moving afterwards he glances at the open doors to the mess hall and attempts to let off a guiding bolt at one of the wraiths in there, but ends up missing.

Back at the other end of the ship Psalm lets a few more eldritch blasts fly, they strike the wraith pretty substantially. He sees it wobble and shimmer in the air, but still it stands for the moment, letting out goofy laughs every now and again.

He also takes the moment to try and recall anything he knows about wraiths, though he remembers about as much as Cimmorro did. He gets the suspicion that the eldritch blast damage is one of the things they're resistant to. These ones are also a little sillier than you assumed most wraiths to be.

Han follows after, jogging as fast as she can over to the bathing hall, looking around as she goes. As she runs up Vinny moves to head into the bathing hall, nodding at Han and Rokka he lets out another firebolt at the wraith, this time is disintegrates into mist with a shriek disappearing entirely. He releases a relieved sigh at the sight.

Psalm: he whips around at Cimmorro(?) (and nearly gives himself whiplash because he's unused to feeling so light) and says "Holy fuck, finally. I'd been shooting that thing at point blank range and it refused to die." Vinny: he waves at psalm as he turns "figured it'd take a bit of a group beating..! are you too badly hurt?" Psalm: "This must be...Vinny? 🤨 And I'm fine for now. We should press forward and check out the rest of the baths*.... I guess (mumbles this last part.)" Vinny: "that i am..." he laughs a little tiredly at the end of your muttering Finn: "splendid work vinny!...... seeing as this part of the ship is in your capable hands, i shall go reunite with the others....lest you want me to stay by your side?" Vinny: and looking around the hallway "er....hm... i was wondering if we should check out the other hallway as well... there's more sounds coming from over there..." he turns back to psalm "baths first i suppose" Finn: finn nods "then thats what we shall do..." he feels excited at the prospect of spending more time together...and he didn't even have to be pathetic about it ! Psalm: "Just to make sure. Then we can join the others." He nods at Vinny. then at plum he just thinks to himself "This is obviously Finn, but why is he behaving like that?" (as far as he knew until recently Finn did not like Vinny at all LOL) Han: han just grins in uselessness at psalm Psalm: Psalm looks back at her and chances a guess based on the roommate situation, "Han...?" Han: "got it in one!" 😄 Psalm: He smiles in a way that would be the equivalent of a finger heart Han: han internally "woah keva never smiled at me like that F

Back across the other end of the ship, Plum walks forward and attempts to acid splash the wraith still in combat with Keva, though it ends up going wide, Cimmorro manages to adjust it again into a hit with a quick use of silvery barbs, the wraith twists strangely to dodge but the sharp assist has it lapse in concentration, getting struck anyway.

Plum: I YELL "FUCK YOU" VERY CLEARLY EXASPERATED BY THIS SITUATION Cimmorro: you hear cimm let out a laugh beside you then goes like "let me try something" Plum: "ahh, thanks cimm," they say, trying to collect themselves again. "i need these fuckers to just DIE, it's not cute anymore." Cimmorro: "i'd like to get back to my beauty sleep too if i'm being honest. at least they seem easy enough to clean up..." Plum: "beauty sleep is exactly what i was thinking..." they mutter

Plum: as the vial hits the wraith plum yells "FUCK, THANK GOD FOR YOU," and turns to cimm, grabs them by the shoulders a bit because they are now at similar height, which is very strange to them, shakes him a bit, and then goes back to cursing about the wraiths. Cimmorro: cimm still makes a surprised laugh at this, wholly amused

At the other end of the ship Rokka dashes to join the others in the bathing hall as wraiths across the ship continue to move. The wraith in front of Keva laughs and changes it target to the nearby crewman, perturbed by its miss before. The crewman yelps and manages to dodge out of the way in time as the ghost dives forward, wiping sweat off their brow.

Spying an injured passenger behind the crewman, Cimmorro inches forward to grab its attention before focusing on a wraith near the stairs to hit.

Cimmorro: i give keva another glance "i'll count on you to deal with that one" nods his head towards the wraith in front of her Keva: she mutters back "you got it" without looking away from her target... lowkey she's feeling pretty good about the three's teamwork right now, but she is nervous about vinny's body holding up

The wraith sits about halfway up the stairs, taunting the crewman below, it makes a shrieking sound as Cimmorro blasts it with a guiding bolt, enough to shock the crewman back a couple steps as they look around for the origin point.

Keva takes the chance to slash at the wraith in front of her, the dodge from the crewman gives her the perfect opening, she finishes it off for now as it lets out an echoed OoOoOooOohh !!

Back over in the bathing hall Psalm quickly moves to check each of the sectioned off bathing stalls, running through. As he reaches the third one he sees a wraith suddenly pop out.

Psalm: He's gonna yell "there's more of them!" at the group before attacking

As he blasts it point blank it gives a surprised howl then it starts cackling afterwards as if amused. Han steps up behind, readying an attack.

Han: "kinda cramped, draw it out!" Psalm: "There's probably more of them if you want, we don't have to share," he says.

Finn follows glancing around the hallway outside the bathing hall, assuming the baths under control he sees another wraith in combat with a crewman with a broom around the corner down the hallway.

Finn: "lets take care of this together..." finn flashes vinny a smile Vinny: following after finn vinny gives another wave to psalm "we'll check down the hall!" as he runs up behind finn he blinks and nods "that's the plan..!" Psalm: he salutes without looking away from the wraith infront of him

As the two run off, the wraith in the stall laughs and jumps through Psalm’s body in retaliation, passing through to the other side, dealing him further necrotic damage.

Psalm: psalm like maybe I should've taken Vinny up on his offer earlier

Back across the ship, the three in combat notice through the doors to the dining hall lets out a laugh as it attacks a crewman defending himself with a butter knife and a chair, it swipes his arm and he lets out a yelp, falling to the floor in pain. The one in combat with Keva swipes at her as well, though its swing goes wide as it misses.

Cimmorro: NOOO ANONYMOUS CREWMAN #6

Plum runs up and tosses another vial of acid at the wraith in combat with Keva, getting in another good shot as it blubbers slightly amused.

Plum: JUST DIEEEE Cimmorro: the image of cimm not seeing plum behind him so he just sees this vial of acid flying 60ft across the room over his shoulder is funny to me

Watching Vinny and Finn run off, Rokka dashes after them making to follow.

Rokka: seeing plummy(?) run off alone, rokka is going to run after them bc he has yet to fully wrap his head around everyone elses bodyswap, thats plummy! "PLUMMY WAIT UP!"

Back in the main hall Keva lets out a huff as she slices through the air once more, the extra effort she’s having to exert is making her arms a little tired. Though this wraith soon also disappears in a shriek leaving nothing but the air.

Crewman: the crewman below cheers at you and shouts wAHEEEEY! Keva: that makes keva jump and then laugh a little in surrpise

She takes the time to run into the dining hall to asses the situation inside, there she spots the wraith attacking one of the crewman, and two more crowding others in the corner.

Keva: I CALL OUT "THERE'S THREE IN HERE" Cimmorro: im gonna quickly ask the crewman next to me "do you know where these things are coming from?" Crewman: they scratch their head as they crouch down to help one of the passengers "ah, as far as i know they started popping out of the ceiling, outta fackin nowhere..." Cimmorro: "ahhh, fuck." he runs a hand through his hair "alright. you guys should head to the hall first, it's been cleared out. keep all wounded in a safe place, i'll tend to them myself later" i'm gonna move a little ways towards the mess hall first

Cimmorro then heads into the dining hall, letting off another guiding bolt at the one Keva ran up towards. He lets the spell fly with a flourish, it lets out a loud wail as the crewman on the ground looks up in confused pain.

Following after on the other side of the boat, the wraith in front of Finn and Vinny moves to strike at Vinny, its arm passes through him dealing him necrotic damage, he stumbles back slightly with a shout.

Back in the bathing hall Psalm turns to blast the wraith that jumped through him again, dealing it a substantial strike. It whizzes around the air dramtically, though still tangible for now.

Psalm: YOU SHOULD KILL YOURSELF NOW Plum: YOUR JOB IS TO BE IN MY STREAMS

Han whips at the remains of the ghost as it shrieks into the air, it spins around as if it were enjoying itself. She sees it teetering right on the brink of perception, though still there for now.

Finn over in the hallway moves to strike at the wraith after it phases through Vinny, overhead Vinny lets off another scorching ray at point blank range, damagaing it further.

Finn: "vinny, how are you holding up?!"  Vinny: he briefly glances back down at you and coughs "er... about my usual, taking hits none to well, i feel bad for cimmorro though" Finn: dont is what finn wants to say but doesnt... instead, he hands vinny a potion of healing "id better make sure it doesnt get as bad as usual then" (<- meant with affection) Vinny: he takes it quickly with a blink and nods his head "ah, thank you..!" and focuses his attention back on the wraith 

Across the ship Plum tosses an acid vial at the wraith in range of Keva, it lands wish a crash over the wraith's body, it wobbles in place as it lets out a cackle. As they focus on that one the other two in the dining hall cackle and jump through the two crewman next to them crowded against the wall. They shout out in pain and drop to the floor, the kitchen utensils hitting the ground next to them.

Back in the hallway with Finn and Vinny, Rokka rushes forward to slash at it with his scimatars.

Rokka: he is fighting the fucking air

Rokka hops forward and wobbles a little unsure and out of place, Han's body is so big, and these ghosts are so freaky. He slices through the air clumsily as vinny shoots him a sympathetic glance.

Vinny: he waves his hand like 'dont mind it!'

Back in the dining hall Keva moves to slice through the wraith next to her once more, she watches its essence part into bits as it shrieks, though it stays corporeal for the moment. Seeing the injured crewman on the floor next to her thinks for a split second before moving to feed them one of Psalm’s potions of healing.

Crewman: they cough as you feed it to them but it goes down quick, they blink back to a more coherent consciousness glancing around the room before slapping an arm across your back "boy i owe ya'.." before turning their head at the wraith like well lets fuckin' get back to it.. Keva: keva's going to try and block the guy from the wraith and says "HEY! over here, fuckwit" to try and get it to focus on her

The wraith turns in her direction, seemingly enticed by her thouting. Seeing her draw its attention, Cimmorro turns towards the other two at the end of the dining hall and lets loose another spell towards one of them. The lets out an unholy howl as its blasted, glancing around scared afterwards. The crewman on the ground below flinch a little at the sudden sound.

Cimmorro: cimm is starting to look exhausted btw and just goes "PLUMKIN I'M GONNA NEED YOUR HELP WITH HEALING IF EVER" Plum: "read my mind, was thinking i'd start trying to patch some people up 🫡" Cimmorro: he gives you a tired but grateful lopsided smile

Back across the ship in front of Vinny and Finn, the wraith before them takes another swipe at the Vinny, as its arm slips through his body it deals him further necrotic damage. He wheezes and yelps a little as he staggers backwards, breathing heavily. The wraith cackles happily as the crewman nearby holding a broom flinches, the battle on the airship rages on....
