MUTUAL AID REQUEST: help me get dental work done ❤️

hi! i'm in desperate and urgent need of getting a few teeth extracted, but that stuff ain't cheap. the tl';dr is after wearing braces for 5 years and moving countries i stopped being able to see a dentist due to lack of public healthcare in the us and poverty making it extremely difficult to access care, especially dental care. so i developed some pretty bad cavities and as a result one of my teeth has fallen out in chunks, leaving only the roots inside my gums. my wisdom teeth need to be pulled as well but that makes the whole thing even more expensive so i'm settling for just getting the wisdom tooth adjacent to the other one extracted in an attempt to relieve some more pain.

for the past year and a half i have been dealing with increasingly unbearable pain because of my teeth and it can't go on any longer, the more i wait the worse it will get and it could cause the same to happen to other teeth.

for the procedure, transportation and recovery I'm trying to raise $600 USD. Anything you can help with, anything at all, is hugely appreciated and will help me relieve this massive financial burden. I know this is a difficult time in the world right now and people have limited funds, and I understand wanting to donate what you can to other causes. But I'm going to take whatever help I can get, because no matter what I have to get this procedure done.

I work as a TV animator for a small studio that pays less than half the average animator wage in Canada. Only reason I'm staying is I live in a province that has absolutely nothing except part-time retail and construction jobs. Plus, a lot of shady hiring practices make it even harder to get employed. I can't use my PC to work because the hard drive is dying, so I have to draw with my laptop and mouse, which has been destroying my wrist and making me even slower. My wage is based on performance, btw.

I've also been struggling with long covid fatigue since December, constantly being thrown in and out of autism burnout as a result. Taking a simple walk is now so draining I get heart palpitations from it. I can't do anything, and seasonal depression pushed me further down to the point where my mental health has alarmed me. I have friends supporting me (including Sasha) so I'm safe, but this has taken a violent toll on our finances. We had funds we were saving to move out to BC. Those have been cut down 6 folds. They're almost entirely gone.

My plan was to take as many commissions as I could to tally us over and help keep us afloat, but I can't draw. My PC is an inch away from blowing up and I'm just so, so tired all the time. I can't do commissions. So despite my anxieties from receiving money from others, I just need to suck it up and ask for help. I'm disabled, mentally and physically at my limit, with very little access to my dying PC, and I just can't keep going like this. If you read all this, thank you. I had to leave my home state earlier this year due to the increasing anti-trans climate there, & I’ve been effectively homeless since (living out of my car), drifting from state to state. The plan was to resettle in the midwest before winter, and the good news is that I finally found a place to go and started moving in.

The bad news is that the cost of the move & a bunch of car troubles along the way have put me so behind on payments that my car is about to be repossessed if I can’t make a payment immediately.

Having a place now will make it easier to save money, so given time, I should be able to catch up on my payments. But that doesn’t really change my immediate situation: I just don’t have the money to keep my car from getting repo’d now—and since I rely on my car for my job, if it gets repo’d I won’t have any income

I need help. About $400 should cover one car payment (honestly I need way more than that but it’s a start). If you can donate to help a trans person in dire straits out, it would really be appreciated. Anything helps.

✨ help a queer disabled creature out ✨

hiii! this is my first time making one of these so i don't really know what i'm doing but please bear with me!!

my name is neptune and i'm queer and disabled. i have ADHD, depression+anxiety and a chronic eye condition that leaves me with only one seeing eye (and with high eye pressure in my blind eye, which is occasionally painful and gives me headaches). i am also trans and currently pursuing HRT, which where i'm from means i first have to travel all over the country to a bunch of different specialists who need to determine whether i am Transsexual™ enough (which costs money).

i am employed, but i work at an NGO, which, coupled with the fact that i can't work there full-time due to my disabilities, means i'm basically making a little above my country's minimum wage (converted to USD – i'm from central-eastern europe – i make roughly $810/month after tax). nearly half of my monthly income goes towards my rent, and this makes it very hard for me to save up money, especially given the so-called ADHD tax (look it up if you haven't heard of it).

as you can probably imagine, this is very stressful. i am privileged in that i am not in an immediately dire financial situation and have a solid support network, unlike a lot of other people on here. however, i live with constant financial anxiety. i have no safety cushion with which to cover longer periods of potential illness/recovery (e.g. after top surgery, which i might want), potential health emergencies of my two beloved cats (one of whom is a senior cat), or unexpected household expenses. i also have very little disposable income, which is not immediately a disaster, but which has gotten me into a difficult situation.

you see, one of the ways i can sustainably supplement my income is freelance photography and i would really benefit from making that a more regular thing. currently, however, the only camera i have at my disposal is a second-hand beginner level DSLR i got back in 2019, which is really beginning to struggle to keep up. this means i could really use a new camera so that i can take better photos and increase the chance of someone wanting to hire me. but cameras are expensive and there's no way i could comfortably afford even another second-hand one (the cost of a decent second-hand camera would be around $850).

sooo. i thought i could try my luck here? i'm not asking for any specific target amount and i will be happy for any help, no matter how small. i understand if you'd rather help out those who need it more urgently though! i know many of us hardly have the means to help even those.

Hi, my name is Dahlia, that's not me up in the header image of course, that's my kitty Stormi, I'm not all that comfortable with my appearance so I figured I'd share her cuteness instead.

So I feel kinda uncomfortable doing this, but recently I wound up 3,000 dollars in debt, and I'm required to pay off 300 dollars of it each month. But I really cannot afford to do so all on my own. I barely have any money in the bank to speak of, and my only source of income is 700 dollars a month that I receive from Social Security Disability, which I've been on since I was 18. Normally this 700 is actually just enough for me to get by each month, but now with 300 dollars of it going towards paying off this debt, it's left me in a pretty bad place.

I of course have bills to pay for, including for rent, among other things. And then I also have about a dozen or so medications to pay for, medications that I need for my Depression, Anxiety, and OCD. Along with the ones for my Hormone Replacement Therapy, which I've been on for almost 4 years now.

And so the 400 I'm left with after paying off the debt each month is just not enough for me to get by.

It's lead to me having to borrow from the few friends I have just to get by, and they are all having hard enough times getting by as well, and I don't want to keep putting the burden on them. Especially when they can't afford it either.

So all in all the situation I'm in just has me having daily panic attacks, as I'm just so scared and worried about what I'm going to do, and even with all the medications I'm on, my depression and anxiety has just been out of control lately.

So last night I was talking to a friend about all this, and they suggested I try making a Go Fund Me page. Originally I wasn't sure about that, I mean it's not like I'm in a medical emergency or anything like that. And I felt, and still do feel kinda bad at the idea of asking those I don't even know for help when there are probably people out there who deserve it more then I do. But my friend assured me that things like this, the situation I'm in, is exactly what Go Fund Me is for. So here we are.

I honestly don't know if anyone will even help me out here, I can be pretty pessimistic at times, and since all this got started it's just been so much worse. Plus I know that times are hard for everyone right now. But anything you could spare would help me out a whole lot. making a new post because I needed to update some things, as I'm no longer accepting gofundme donations, only paypal, cashapp and venmo.

Here's my situation: My monthly expenses come out to about $900 each month, but my monthly income is only $442, so without donations and help I cannot afford my rent and bills and it's already a miracle my landlords let me renew my lease when I was constantly late, I don't want to try my luck by being late on rent again.

Due to transferring schools, I'm unable to take summer term classes which means I don't get financial aid until fall term starts in August, so I'm continuously struggling financially until then and relying heavily on donations.

Anything you're able to help with is extremely appreciated and goes a long way towards my rent, bills, food and taking care of my cats.

I hate asking this, but if anyone can help I would be eternally grateful.

I lost my job in late fall and it took longer than expected to find a new one. I love my new job and it pays me more than I had made before, but the two months of bills and falling behind before I started has been dragging behind me for too long. I haven't been able to catch up on my expenses to the point that I'm at risk of being having my power shut off, and even worse, eviction.

Anything will be helpful, even a dollar. The rent and electric total about $800, and that's all I need. Once I'm caught up I will be able to move forward without the constant worry I've had for the last 6 months. I will no longer be behind, and I will be okay from here on with my new job.

If you can share, I appreciate it. I don't expect to reach it, but if I reach my goal, I will delete the post. I don't want more than needed.
