Ace x F! Reader , Friends with Benefits Drabble
tags : non romantic sex , ( light ) teasing
You could hardly recall how this ‘relationship’ began, really. Being shipmates meant relying on each other, sure. Everyone knew that but the night Ace offered to be there to relieve you of your sexual torment was a real shocker. You must admit, it was something you were more then happy about.
Being on a ship full of men and being the only girl was difficult. Seeing them all naked within the bath house on the ship and topless during training was cruel to your sex drive. You yearned for the lusting to vanish and so, Ace stepped in. But you couldn’t help but wonder if that helped or made your sex drive worse.
You squirmed under Ace, moaning lewdly as he rolled your lucious pink nipples in between his rough fingers, his hips gyrating as he thrusted into you. Ace was the perfect scale for a lover, he wasn’t too soft nor too rough, he was as precise as sexual partners got.
You couldn’t help but stare at the pirates face as he held you within a mating press. The way a blush spilled over his freckles cheeks was endearing. The room was warm, becoming humid from the hot sex you two shared, like you two did nearly every night. You bit your hand, letting your teeth burrow into the back of your hand to muffle your moans of pure pleasure.
If any of the crew found out you two were doing such things, it would be far too much to handle. You’d be viewed as a sexual deviant, preying upon Ace. But it was impossible to stay calm with how Ace treated you in bed, the curvature of his dick digging itself against your g-spot, scraping against your vaginal walls everytime he backed his hips up.
He was too fucking good. You couldn’t help but wonder what other women Ace had done this with. Not out of jealousy, no. You had no right nor thought to be jealous, you aren’t his girlfriend. You were merely curious. Were they beautiful? Did you know them?
A heavy chuckle dripped from Ace’s lips as he looked down at you, hands gripping the back of your thighs. His eyes pooled into yours, fingers digging further into your plump thighs.
“Is that good, huh? Is it?” Ace’s smirk grew more cocky as he continued to pump in and out of you, his member stretching you out and around.
You nodded helplessly, repeating the motion over and over. Your teeth gripped your hand harder, slowly leaving a mark on your hand. You had to be quiet, you had to not make a singular peep.
Ace nuzzled into the warmth of your mounds, lapping his tongue against the lining and cleavage of your breasts. Feeling your breasts submerge his face was heavenly.
You locked your legs tight around Ace’s slim waist, pushing him further against you. Your legs shook endlessly against his hips, body twitching from the waves of pleasure that washed over you.
“A-Ace...~,” You whimpered out his name, drooling against your hand. You winced and moaned silently as he rocked back and forth into you, plunging the depths of your warm cunt with every inch of his cock.
You couldn’t stop whispering his name, letting out endless gasps and ragged breaths. This was too hard for you, far too hard to stay silent. A ton too much.
Ace lifted you, hands traveling from your thighs to your butt, fingers digging into your flesh. He held you upward into his lap, slamming hard up into you, skin smashing together over and over. He burrowed his face into your neck, intaking the intoxicating scent of your hair and body. He was more then happy to take you like this every single night, even if it wasn’t in the form of love. But it was. You two loved each other very much, you were close shipmates and friends. The best of friends, you loved each other no further then that.
You felt the weight of your eyes slip back into your head from the overstimulation. You felt so close already, the knot deep in your tummy tightening and squeezing up. It felt as if it were going to pop any second now, especially with the pace Ace was rather persistent with.
“Ace...! I’m going to-!” Your words and pleas were cut off by Ace licking your lips, his hot tongue lacing itself around and into your mouth. You whines as he began to french you, still pounding your core. His sloppy kisses prevented your moans from releasing themselves from your throat.
Slowly but surely, he pulled away, parting your lips from each other. Ace’s tongue hung out of his mouth as he grinned at you.
“Don’t be so loud, Y/n. What if you wake anyone up?” Ace cooed, letting his tongue dip and dribble along your jaw line.
Such a dirty card to play. It was true but you only wanted him to slow down, as you felt the beast of lust that settled within you grow untamed, almost as if it was a feral creature. You couldn’t catch a break from him, now could you?
The sleeping dress that you had once worn was now drenched in your love juices, your cum seeping into the light braids of silk. What a shame.. it was your favourite pair of pajamas. Yet, you couldn’t control the endless reaction that came from your body, your fluids covering your clothing and Ace’s bed sheets. What a mess you had made but it was his own fault. You had attempted to warn him, to let you slowly ease into your climax. Yet, Ace was an impatient man, having no regards for anything once he had his eyes on the prize.
And right now, the sight of you being disheveled and blissed out in pure ecstasy was the prize.

almost [toni shalifoe]
toni shalifoe x reader
requested: You’re an amazing writer! I had this promt for a while now where reader is Shelby’s best friend and Toni’s gf and once they get to the bunkers they find out about everything and try to escape the building but get followd by agents from all sides and the girls are scared for their lives and once they get the oppurtunity to escape the reader offers herself (maybe an agent was about to catch Shelby) and Toni and Shelby (they both don’t want to let go and are in hysterics) as well as the other girls lose it when readers screams and begs them to leave her and get to safety. Pretty heavy angst that you write so amazingly, it would be so nice to see you bring this idea to life.
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
The walls started to be the only thing you can remember seeing. The weird wooden paneling in what felt like a fucking holding cell for prisoners’ on death row. You can’t remember what the sky looked like or the stars. All you can remember is this stupid quarantine room that you were put in after you got, quote on quote: saved, from the island.
You haven’t seen any of the girls since you’ve been saved. And you really wished you could’ve, you’ve missed their personalities. Rachel’s determination. Dot’s sarcasm. Fatin’s inappropriate jokes. Leah’s intelligence. Shelby’s kind heart. And lastly, your girlfriend Toni’s protectiveness. All of them, everything about them, you wish you had with you right now.
All of a sudden the entire power went out. The lights shut off and the camera that watches you 24/7 was down. There were footsteps echoing throughout the hallway until it stopped right in front of the door. You waited for the door to open, but it didn’t. It was like there was a moment of hesitation before something was slipped under the door and the footsteps echoed away.
A small piece of paper, written in a handwriting that was quite familiar. You’ve seen this handwriting in Nora’s notebook. From the one and only Leah Rilke, saying: We were right...
All of the conspiracy theories that we once thought were crazy, were actually true. After the shark attack that made us lose Nora and Rachel’s hand, Leah told us everything. From her finding Jeanette’s second phone to seeing Nora talk to a camera in the trees. You all thought it was crazy, until the questions that Dr. Fader and Agent Young asked could’ve only been known if they were on the island.
You flipped the paper over, seeing that there was something else written: Escape plan ???.
The next few days were quiet. You didn’t quite know what to do with yourself. Until finally, your door swung open. Fader and Young were both standing there with hands in their pockets, “You ready to see the girls?”
Your eyes lit up for the first time since you got there. Happiness overwhelming your body at the chance to see the only people who have been keeping your mind sane in that Hell hole.
You shot up from off the bed and followed them into the corridor. But not before trying to examine each hall, to find some sort of exit plan. Then it all came to a view, your favorite people in the entire world.
“Toni?” you whispered and she turned around to face you. A huge smile formed onto her face before she wrapped her arms around you.
You let out a sigh of relief. Your whole body seemed to relax at the slightest touch, “Hi love.” she whispered, holding you tightly.
The two of you let go and you see your best friend. Her long lucious blonde locks no longer there, but rather a buzz cut replacing it. You know you shouldn’t have laughed, but c’mon it’s your best friend. The two of you make fun of each other all of the time.
“You like it?” she asked, pretending to flip her hair over her shoulder.
You bursted out laughing, “Oh yeah! Getting a little bit of Caillou vibes from it.”
She pushed you back softly, before grabbing your shoulders and ultimately bringing you into a hug of your own, “I’ve missed you.” she whispered.
“I’ve missed you too...” you begin to say with seriousness, but you couldn’t help the nickname that popped into your head, “...Shelbald.”
Everyone in the coordior seemed to have busted out laughing at the nickname, “I hate you.” Shelby said.
“Mhmm, I hate you too.” you said, pulling away from the hug. Going around the room to hug all of the other girls.
Once all of you realized that you were alone, without the two agents watching your every move, you decided to catch up on the plan.
“How is this gonna work, Leah? I mean how did you get the notes out to us in the first place?” you asked. A question that has been flooding your thoughts for quite some time now.
She had a small smirk on her face, “We have an ally on the inside.” she said, bringing her voice to a whisper, “I have these napkins for all of you. We’re gonna put them in our door before closing. It’ll give us a chance to not allow it to close.”
Leah handed everyone a napkin. All of us clenching them in our fist, trying to hide it as much as possible.
“Our ally is gonna cut the power like they did when they slipped the note to everyone for me. We’re all gonna run and meet here at the corridor. He told me where the secret exit is and we’re gonna get out through there. The rest of the plan from there is a little fuzzy, but escaping is the most important part.” she explained.
There was a tense silence between everyone for a little bit. Before we all broke out into smiles, “Leah,” Rachel began, “Thank God for your craziness. It’s gonna save our asses!”
“Hell yeah it will!” Fatin exclaimed. All of you laughed along with each other. A sudden weight being lifted from your shoulders, like for once in the past few months everything was gonna be okay.
God, how you were so wrong.
“When is this happening?” Dot asked.
Leah’s lips quirked into a smirk, “Tonight.”
After a couple more hours, the two agents came back. Escorting us one by one to our rooms. We bid each other goodbye before walking into our rooms. As our doors close, all of us stuffing a napkin into them. The slow sounds of footsteps slowly fading away down the hallway, you pushed the door open a little and low and behold...it opened.
You pretended to act the normal the entire rest of the day. Lying in bed, pretending to be upset with the world. It’s not like that part changed, but at least now there was a glimmer of hope at the end of the road. You didn’t know what time it was, it could’ve been 10pm or 2am or 4am, but all of the lights shut off again. And you watched as the cameras fell, like they have been disarmed.
You let out a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves, “Let’s do this.”
Slowly, you stepped out of the room, looking up and down the hallway. The coast was clear. You ran out of your room, trying to not make a lot of noise. When you reached the cooridor, everyone was there and you could tell that nervousness hung over the group.
“We ready?” Dot asked and all of us just nodded, “Let’s fucking go!”
All of you walked out of the cooridors, making sure the coast was clear. Toni intertwined her fingers into your hands and the tension in your shoulders seemed to have fallen away. Shelby was right behind you guys and you made sure to look back every now and then to make sure she was okay.
“There they are!” you heard a deep voice yell.
All of you stopped in your tracks, looking at one another. Then reality hit all of you like a truck, before you took off running. Toni practically dragging you along with her and every second you looked behind you to see Shelby keeping up. But when you do, you can see a butt-load of agents, the distance between you and them growing smaller and smaller by the second.
“Guys! They’re gaining!” you yelled. As time went on, your energy and adrenaline that the group once had was slowly diminishing.
“Well run faster!” Rachel called back. Both her and Leah leading the charge.
“I didn’t sign up for a marathon!” Fatin exclaimed.
Dot shrugged, “It’s either run a marathon or get captured by them.”
Fatin looked back at all of the angry men. And somehow, someway, she started running faster, “Yeah, yeah. Marathon it is!”
You reached the exit Leah was once talking about. Shutting the door behind you guys, locking it just before they could get in. You did a mental head count...Rachel, Leah, Dot, Fatin, Toni...that’s only five? That’s only five! You scanned the two way hallway frantically.
“Love? What’s wrong?” Toni asked.
You shook your head, “Where’s Shelby? She wa s right behind us. I should’ve...I should’ve kept watching her. I should’ve make her run in front of me.”
“What?” Toni questioned, her voice a little softer.
“Where’s Shelby?!” you practically screamed. Your voice echoing throughout the hallway.
You heard footsteps coming towards you. Shelby in the hands of Agent Young, you released a shaky breath. All of you were surrounded, the door to escape right there in front of you. A middle aged lady that you recognized from the Dawn of Eve video appeared from behind the two agents.
“Relax darling. She’s right here. Now how about we all get you back to your cells?” she asked.
Everyone shook their head, “No, this is insane! You can’t keep us here forever!” Dot yelled.
“Well we need one of you to explain to us what happened. So if you’d like to escape, go right ahead, but we keep Shelby. Easy peasy.” she explained.
You looked at Toni, sending her an apologetic glance. Her head tilting to the side in confusion. You leaned forward softly, placing a small kiss to her cheek, before letting go of her hand.
“Y/N? What are you-“ she began to ask, but you stepped towards the woman and the two agents.
You let out yet another shaky breath, “Take me.” you said sternly.
An echo of “What?!” rang throughout the hallway. And you tried not to focus on the fear that laced, each and every one of their voices.
“You let them go, let them go back home. And I’ll switch places with Shelby. I’ll cooperate and tell you the entire truth.” you negotiated.
Shelby stared right at you, “Are you insane?” she asked, tears pooling at your eyes.
“Please. Let them go. I’ll tell you everything I know. That is your best bet of trying to get yourself out of whatever sick game you’re playing. Because if you keep all of us here, we will not cooperate and you’ll know nothing.” you explained. The middle-aged woman pondered your negotiation for quite a few minutes.
And with one snap of her fingers, she was released and you were in the grasp of Agent Young and Dr. Fader. You finally brought yourself to look at the girls who were all crying. And you couldn’t bear to look at them anymore as you heard sobs course throughout Shelby, Leah, and Fatin’s body. Then there was Toni, Dot, and Rachel who were trying their best to stay strong, but you knew they couldn’t.
“You can’t do this!” Toni yelled.
You shook your head, “We don’t have a choice. I need you guys to leave. We’ve lost 2 already! No one else can get hurt anymore.” Everyone went silent, “Can I say goodbye first?” you asked, softly. The three adults all looked at each other before nodding.
You stopped first at Rachel, pulling her into a small hug. And you could feel little tear drops fall onto your shoulder, “I’m sorry we couldn’t save her.” That caused Rachel to sob even more.
You rubbed her back softly, “I’m sorry we couldn’t save you.” she whispered back before pulling away.
Then there was Fatin. She immediately crashed into your arms, holding you tighter than she ever has before. You ran your fingers through her hair, trying to soothe her as best as possible.
“I’m still holding you to your plans for when you escape.” you mentioned, out of the blue.
“What?” she asked, pulling away a little.
You smiled widely at her, “You still gotta fuck the rowdiest guy with biggest dick ASAP!”
And for once since the great escape happened all of you finally laughed and smiled. She sniffled before nodding, “I promise. I’ll dedicate it to you.”
Then Dot. You could tell she was trying her best not to cry, but a few tears slipped out. She hugged you tightly, patting your back in the process, “Do me a favor?” she just hummed in response, “When you get back home to Texas, watch after Shelby. Live in your old house together, something...anything! She can’t go home, she’s not ready for that yet. But you need to protect her and make sure that she stays the same person she is jow. Not the person we knew before, can you do that?”
“With my life.” Dot promised and you look back at her to find a determined nod on her face.
Leah’s turn was next. Her piercing blue eyes looked like the ocean when it rained. The glossiness of the raindrops hitting the water. You smiled at her softly, pulling her into a hug.
You were right by her ear when you whispered, “When we get out of here, you need to tell our story. Tell the truth the whole truth. Don’t let these bastards win. Sue them if we have to. Just get our story out. I trust you more than anyone to do that. Do it for Jeanette and Martha and even Nora. The ones we’ve lost and the ones who are lost in the trauma.”
“I’m on it. You come back to us okay? We need you here too to tell our story.” she said.
You smiled at her sadly, “I’ll try.”
Then there was Shelby. You look at her and she looked at you shaking her head, “No no you can’t do this. You can’t sacrifice yourself for everyone else. I’ll stay here with you! I’ll follow you always!” she pleaded, sobs following her spoken words.
Tears finally fell from your eyes, “You can’t stay here okay? You have to go home.”
“You’re my only family!! Why are you doing this??” she practically yelled.
You sniffled, smiling softly, “You know how we always wanted to be the hero? We would go on missions for church to help people’s lives.” she nodded, “I’m gonna be the hero today and save the people I care about the most.”
Shelby grabbed you forcefully, holding you into her arms. The two of you shaking, as sobs coursed throughout your bodies. You placed your hand on the back of her head, holding her unbelievably close. Until you finally let go.
“I’m not gonna let you do this.” Toni said sternly.
“You have no choice-“ you began to say, but she cut you off.
“Fuck that! I do have a choice and I’m gonna swap places with you! You took Shelby’s place so easily, so why can’t I do that with you?!” her voice echoing, causing everyone to flinch back.
You took your hands in her face, rubbing circles along her cheekbones. Something you did on the island to calm her down when she got too angry or stressed. You placed your forehead on hers and you could see her lips start to quiver.
“You can’t stay here.” she pleaded, “I can’t-what am I gonna do without you? I don’t have Marty or you, what am I gonna do?”
You placed a kiss to her forehead, “I’m gonna find my way back. Find all of you again, okay? I’m never leaving you as cheesy as it sounds I’m always gonna be right here.” you pointed at her heart, “But until then I have to go darling.”
“No, please!” she practically begged. You kissed her softly, but with so much emotion to let her know how much you love her. Not knowing when the next time will be.
“I love you Toni.” you placed one more kiss to her forehead before taking a step back to look at all of the girls.
Again, with one snap of the fingers, you were back in the agents arms, “Escort them to the exit.” the middle-aged woman stated, “You’re coming with me.”
Ear piercing screams rang through your ears. You were about to be dragged off when Shelby and Toni tried rushing towards you. They grabbed your hands trying to pull you back, but the agents were stronger. Not to mention the other agents holding them back.
“We’re not leaving you!!” they yelled.
You didn’t want it to end like this, “Please just go! We lost! You can’t stay here! It’s not safe for you! So please just get out!” you screamed before everything started to break down in front of you, “Just go.” you kept mumbling over and over again between sobs.
Dr. Fader and the middle aged woman escorted you away from the girls and to the interrogation room. While Agent Young escorted the bawling girls towards the exit, probably to drive them to the airport on wherever the hell we are.
“You promised! I trusted that you would keep all of us safe!” Leah spat at Agent Young when they were all alone. She started banging on his chest, “I trusted you! And you-you made us lost Y/N!”
He just let her go at it, before grabbing her wrists as softly as possible, “I tried, but Gretchen watched all of you run from her office. She figured you were going there. And called for everyone to surround you. I tried Leah. I tried for all of you and I failed!”
“You were the ally?” Dot asked and he nodded.
“You girls don’t deserve this. You’ve already been through so much. It’s time for you to go home.” he said sadly, “I’ll take care of her, I promise.”

The Oracle Prince, Chapter 4
Pairing: Viggo/Liz
Summary: We’ve found the gems of the Dragonkin, but now Hawkeye has their eye on the treasures of the noble families. The Foundation Day royal ball seems like the perfect time. Luckily, we have the help of the crown prince- Viggo?!
First: Chapter one
Previous: Chapter three
Viggo dashed through the halls and into the street, bringing me along with him!
“V-viggo, wait a minute-”
“After them!” My heart raced as I heard the guards behind us.
"It looks like I have no choice." Viggo grabbed his pipe, twirling it around in his hand. "Pugnus Tempestus!" With one move, the guards went crashing into the wall!
What was he doing?! "Viggo, stop!"
“I'm sick of this!” Again and again, he fired off attacks, crashing into the knights, into the walls, into the ground, years of frustration pouring out with every attack. “Always being yanked around by the guards, by their rules! I won't let anyone control me anymore!”
“Viggo, don't you realize they'll only use this against you?!”
“So what?! I'll take them all down!”
“Do you think this will make anything better? If you think that you can escape here and now, if you think you can get free, then be my guest. But if they catch you, they'll drag you back and make things worse! Hurting these people is exactly what they want!”
He whirled on me. “What did you say?”
I had to choose my words carefully. But I knew that I couldn't back down now. “They made a fool out of you. They made it look for all the world like you're nothing more than a rampaging prince. Right now, they're back in that ballroom, painting the image that they want of you. 'This is why he needs to be locked up. This is why he needs to be controlled.'”
“So what am I supposed to do, play their stupid game?!”
“I'm not asking you to let them control you. But we need to be smart about this! Nothing's going to change if you're constantly losing your temper at everyone! Pick your battles- and strike when the time is right!"
Tumblr media
The tension hung in the air- but finally, Viggo put his pipe away. “Fine.”
"How dare you speak to our prince like that!" My blood ran cold as I saw the knights getting to their feet, their attention suddenly focused on me.
And now that the adrenaline was quickly wearing off, I realized what I'd just done. I'd just yelled at the prince of Gedonelune! “I-”
“Stand back,” Viggo commanded. “She's my guest.” He smirked at me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. “We were just having a conversation, weren't we?”
"T-that's right," I said, nodding. "Just a conversation."
They hesitated, but they stepping back. "Yes, Your Highness." Was it that easy?
"There they are!" Suddenly, I heard familiar voices. Pretty soon, Caesar, Alfonse, and Lucious came up to us. "Are you all right?"
"You gave us quite a scare when you ran out of the party like that," Caesar said with a sigh.
"You were worried about me?" Viggo asked, genuine surprise flickering across his face. "I thought I scared all of you."
"You do scare me a bit," Alfonse admitted. "But it looks like you need help."
"Hmm."
I finally dared to ask the question the question tugging at the back of my mind. "Viggo, why did you freak out like that?"
He was quiet for a moment, and then he sighed. "..I had a vision. Try not to tell them anything if I can help it, but there's not much I can do in that state."
The thought of them taking advantage of his weakness caused anger to flare up in me. "How dare they use you like that!"
His eyes widened. "You're mad? You have.. no idea, do you?”
“What are you talking about?”
"Hmm." He turned away without answering. He turned to the guards, commanding, "Go back to the ball. Tell Daniel I'll be back in a few minutes."
They nodded. As soon as the guards left, he spun his pipe, turning it into a telescope.
The others watched with wide eyes. "What are you doing? You did the same thing at the party.."
"That vision is still bothering me," he said, studying the sky without looking at us. "This is the way that I can gain some clarity on my visions."
"Amazing.."
Even when he turned back to us, none of us dared to speak. After a moment, he said, "Aren't you going to ask?"
"What?"
He folded his arms. "Everyone always asks what my visions are. Thought you'd be the first to want to know. Especially since it had to do with the gems." His words sounded like a warning. He was pushing us, but I didn't want to take the bait.
I bit my tongue. I looked at my friends, and I could tell we were all sharing the same thought.
"Viggo," I said at last, "you must have had a lot of people trying to use your powers before, haven't you?"
He sighed. "More times than I can count."
I raised my chin as I faced him. "I won't say I'm not curious. But if we push you to use your powers for our own goals, that would make us no better than Daniel." The others nodded.
His eyes widened, genuinely caught off guard. And then he sighed, lowering his voice as he walked closer. "..I saw the gems. The gem of water.. I can't tell the shape or color, but I can tell that it's somewhere within this castle."
"Within the castle?! Looks like we were right to come here."
"The other gem was confusing." He stared off in the distance. "The silver gem. In my vision, I saw two of them- but they're held by two different people."
"You mean, like someone split the gem into two? Is that possible?" Lucious asked.
He shook his head. "Both of the gems are completely whole. It's as though someone made a copy of it."
“How strange." But this had given us invaluable information. "Thank you, Viggo."
He nodded. "Let's head back to the castle. I'll never hear the end of it otherwise."
"Hang on a minute." Alfonse suddenly stopped him.
"Will you allow me to look at you?" Viggo relented, letting him brush his hand against his face, checking his pulse.
   "What are you doing?"
Alfonse smiled. "You'll see."
When we got back to the courtyard, all eyes were on Viggo, as if silently waiting for him to slip up again.
Daniel walked forward first, and I saw Viggo bristle. "Ah, Your Highness," he said. "I'm glad to see you've returned. You must be feeling exhausted after your adventure. Come on, you should rest-"
"It's all right." Alfonse smoothly stepped between them. "I examined him, and I've given him the all clear. He should be able to go on with the rest of the party."
"..Who are you?"
"Alfonse Goldstein. I run a clinic nearby." He grinned. "The House of Goldstein only has the greatest concern for the prince."
Daniel's eyes darkened at the name, but he quickly smiled. "Well then, I suppose we have nothing to worry about. We should all get something to eat." With that, the worried tension in the air seemed to dissipate, everyone going back about their business.
"Let us know if you need anything," Caesar said. Viggo nodded.
Unlike before, no one dared to get close to the prince. That seemed to suit him just fine, hovering near the tables.
"..Something is still bugging me," he said. “Didn't you say you had three of the gems?"
"Yes. Light, darkness, and fire."
"What about the other one? ..It's a crystal with a bunch of colors in it, isn't it?"
"Yes, how did you know?"
His eyes darkened as he folded his arms. His gaze fixed across the courtyard. "I've seen Daniel carrying it with him."
Of course it would make sense. If Cordelia had one, Daniel would carry the other. "It's the earth gem," I said. "It was one of the gems entrusted to the Dragonkin, but Hawkeye stole it from us when they attacked me."
His eyes darkened, and he turned away, just like he did before. 'There he goes again..'
"Viggo?"
"..There's something that you should know." He fixed his steely gaze on me. "They used my visions to attack you before.”
My heart sank. “That time in Queensblade..” But I'd seen the way that he acted when he was in that state, how little control you had. "Viggo, it's not your fault," I said firmly. "Nobody's to blame for that except Hawkeye." He seemed to relax at that. "Besides.. we got them back in the end. Well, one of them anyway."
"You did? How?"
"The woman who attacked me, Cordelia.." I could still picture her, the silver necklace glinting about her neck. "She wore this necklace, and she had placed the gem of fire in it. When I saw it, I sort of.." I flushed, suddenly embarrassed at myself.
"You stole her necklace?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Sort of jumped at her, to be honest. I think I nearly gave Felix a heart attack." To my surprise, Viggo laughed. "Hey!"
"Just didn't know you had it in you," he said with a smile. For some reason, my heart jumped, seeing his smile. "..You seem more relaxed around me."
"Hmm? Oh. I'm sorry.." Somewhere in there, I must have gone back to treating him like before.
He chuckled. "Don't be. I like it better this way anyway. Can't stand people fawning over me just cause I'm a prince."
"Even if I'm yelling at you?" I asked cautiously.
"Even then."
And I felt a sense of clarity. I had been so confused ever since I'd learned that Viggo was a prince. But in the end, he was still the same Viggo that I always knew. There was a comfort in that.
That morning, we met bright and early in the dining hall. Viggo was already waiting for us- with a surprising guest. A small, pink bunny was following behind him.
"Uh, Viggo, what's with the bunny?"
He sighed. "Daniel and Jaden wanted to keep an eye on me. They only allowed me to meet with you all if I let Jaden's familiar follow around with me."
"That's oddly agreeable for you," Luca said. Viggo scoffed.
"Just biding my time. Well, now that you're all here.." At Viggo's signal, a fine spread of food was laid out before us, fit for a king.
"Is all of this for us?!" Zeus asked.
"Have as much as you like."
"Thanks, Viggo!" They didn't need to be told twice. The others immediately started grabbing at the food.
"I can't believe that royals get to eat like this every day," Caesar said.
"We want the same thing. From the sounds of it, if I help you find the gems, that'll get rid of Daniel."
"You want our help, Your Highness?" Albert asked with almost mocking innocence. Viggo didn't give an answer. "Well, we're happy to have your help."
"Perhaps we can start by talking to the king?" I suggested. "If we tell him about Daniel and Hawkeye-"
But Viggo scoffed. "It won't work. Daniel's already whispering in his ear. Anything we say risks getting back to him."
My heart dropped. "Then looks like we're on our own for now."
Viggo looked around. "So where do we start?"
Felix: So now we even have the oracle prince on our side. Do these people always make friends this easily?
Lucious: You're one to talk. It only took a day for you to join us.
Felix: That was different. We were crunched for time.
Lucious: Still, I didn't think he'd join us this quick. I owe Hugo some lune now.
Felix: Don't tell me you were taking bets on this?! You didn't do that for me, did you?
Lucious: Oh yeah, we do it all the time. Still, I've got one more chance to win my lune back..
Felix: Next time, The Nobility.

Lee Minho x Reader
Word Count ~ 5k
Summary: You never really cared much about Quidditch but Lee Minho just told you that he is taking you on a date if Slytherin wins the next match so you might as well watch this one.
Tags: Hogwarts AU, Slytherin Minho, Hufflepuff reader, Quidditch, crushes, small injuries I guess?, but no blood or anything, like 5 seconds of angst, self-esteem issues?, popular boy Minho x wallflower reader
"If Slytherin wins against Hufflepuff in the next Quidditch match you're going on a Hogsmeade date with me."
That's what Minho said to you about a week ago when he caught you in the hallway after a Transfiguration lesson. He doesn't even have classes with you, isn't even in the same year, but somehow he must have figured out your schedule just to ask you out on a date. Actually not even ask you on a date but just tell you that you are going on a date with him if his house beats yours at the next Quidditch match. Not even giving you a chance to say yes or no to that. Well, it's not like you would have said no. You are convinced that half of the students at Hogwarts would accept right away if Lee Minho asked them out on a date. There are many traits that are usually associated with the house of Slytherin. Ambitious, cunning, shrewd, self-centred. The list goes on. But out of all of them, Minho is mostly one thing. Confident. He knows what he wants and he knows how to get it. He walks the halls as if the whole castle is his. And yet no one would dare call him arrogant. He's a charmer, studies hard for his goals, treats people politely because it's so much easier to get people to do what you want if they like you. Fear can only ever do so much, but a bit of kindness can go a long way. Lee Minho has everyone at Hogwarts wrapped around his little finger. If he has set his eyes on something he'll figure out a way to get it. And he will get it. And apparently, the thing Minho has his eyes set on at the moment is you. And honestly, you really can't imagine why.
There are also many traits associated with the house of Hufflepuff. Kindness, tolerance and loyalty are just some of them. But more than anything else you know that the other students associate you and your house peers with mediocracy. Not smart enough to be a Ravenclaw. Not brave enough to be a Gryffindor. And not of noble blood or cunning enough for a Slytherin. Nothing special. Hufflepuff is like a weird mixture of all those that don't fit in anywhere else. And this is where you belong. Somewhere in the middle. Not really outstandingly amazing at anything but also not really particularly bad enough to be noticed for that. A wallflower if you will. Just one of many normal kids trying to get through their school years as best as possible. Living a mundane student's life with the usual friendships, stress over exams and maybe small romances that don't really lead anywhere. And that is exactly how your first three years at Hogwarts went by. But suddenly Lee fucking Minho is trying to pursue you.
Honestly, at first, it seemed like a joke to you. And a really cruel one at that. When he asked you, right after class and in front of maybe twenty people, you thought he was making fun of you. But his face was so serious. So sincere that you just couldn't doubt him. You did later though. After he left you a blushing mess and one of your friends walked up to you to ask you just what in the hell had happened. You didn't know how to answer her. You had no idea what happened either. Or even more importantly why it happened.
You have never really talked much to Minho before. Aside from him being a year above you and in a different house, he is also constantly surrounded by other people. Minho is unapproachable because he is constantly being approached. And it's not like you've ever had a reasonable excuse to go talk to him. You've briefly spoken to him on a handful of occasions though. When you ran into him at the library for example. Or just casually greeting him in the hall when he walks past you. The only longer conversation you ever remember having with him happened in your second year.
It was after herbology class. You volunteered to stay behind a little longer to help with cleaning up and watering some of the plants and he had stumbled into the greenhouse looking for a teacher. But instead, he found you, a shy little second year armed with a huge watering pot that you almost dropped when you saw him. He asked where the teacher was, you told him that she was getting ready to lock up and asked you to finish watering the plants. He thanked you and this is where you thought he would just move on but instead, he looked at you all over as if he was really noticing you for the first time. Then has asked why you volunteered to water the plants when you could also just go and enjoy your break. A little starstruck you stuttered out that you just liked plants. He asked if you had a favourite plant, a favourite flower to be precise. And you replied buttercups because that was somehow the first flower that came to mind. Luckily he didn't ask why because the next moment the herbology teacher barged in to ask whether you had finished watering the plants and while Minho went to her to ask his question – something about an essay he had to hand in or something – you snuck out of the greenhouse and ran back to the dorm.
You did harbour a bit of a crush on him after that for maybe a couple of weeks. After all, he is the Lee Minho, everyone's favourite heartthrob. But after a while of that obviously not going anywhere and someone offering you to join a goddamn fan club you kind of buried these feelings again. So long story short, when Minho walked up to you to declare you were going on a date with him, you didn't quite believe that this was actually happening. And you held on to that belief until yesterday, the day before the Quidditch match, when he came up to you again to ask if you've got your Hogsmeade permission slip ready for this weekend. So apparently he was being serious about this.
Which leads you to where you are right now. Tightly wrapped up in one of your coats, a scarf in yellow and black draped around your neck and holding tightly onto the edge of your seat. You usually don't care much for Quidditch. Sure, you go to the matches, but more for the whole social event atmosphere than the actual sport itself. You usually go with friends, meet up with friends and – if things go well – celebrate the victory with friends after the match is over. To you Quidditch is not really about who wins or loses, it's more about having fun and going out and doing something together with others. But this time you are here alone. You didn't really dare to sit in between the other Hufflepuffs while secretly cheering for the other team underneath your breath. So here you are, a Ravenclaw girl that is somehow reading a book in the midst of all this chaos to you right and a Gryffindor boy eyeing you suspiciously to your left. But he’s forgetting all about you as soon as the shrill sound of a whistle announces the beginning of the match. You watch the players rise up on their broomsticks and your eyes automatically latch onto Minho. He is stunning like this. Lucious black hair sitting perfectly despite the wind that is rustling through his cape. Smug smirk on his lips that you can even make out from all the way over here as if he already won this game. One hand firmly on the broomstick the other waving at the audience. Cheers, especially from the girls. Almost hysterical sounding. You have never really paid attention to Minho playing. Of course, you knew that he was on the team, everyone at Hogwarts knows that he is. But until earlier today you didn't even know his position. You had assumed him to be the Seeker. The star of the team, the playmaker, the one who decides it all and earns the team their victory. But no, Lee Minho is a Beater. At the moment his bat is still tugged in neatly underneath his arm but the second the balls are released he grabs it with his free hand and takes off.
You try your best to follow him with his eyes or follow anyone for that matter, but Quidditch is kind of a really fast moving sport. Especially when you are not really interested and only know a thing or two about the rules. But to be fair, it's a game with four balls and fourteen people on broomsticks flying around, you are sure that everyone here is having a hard time keeping track of everything that is happening all at once. The overhyped announcer also doesn't really make it easier for you. He speaks too fast, jumps from one thing to another. One moment he is talking about who is holding the quaffle and then he interrupts himself in the middle of the sentence to talk about the whereabouts of the Golden Snitch. Maybe they really shouldn't let students be the announcers at these events. A couple of minutes into the game Hufflepuff scores the first goal. You cheer more out of reflex than anything. You actually even jump up from your seat but quickly sit down again upon noticing that everyone else in your stand is just looking at you weirdly. After that, you remain seated and only cheer quietly. At least that also helps you avoid the uncomfortable questions about why you cheer for every goal scored. No matter what team scores it.
After maybe ten or fifteen minutes of playtime Hufflepuff is ahead with a 40 points lead, but the Golden Snitch hasn't been spotted for a couple of minutes and you know enough to know that whenever that tricky little thing shows up again it can change everything. So you are staying on the lookout for it. So much even, that you forget all about staring at Minho for a moment. And this is when it happens.
"Oh sh- shoot, looks like Lee Minho just got hit by a Bludger", the amplified voice of the game commenter announces. Your head whips around immediately trying to look for him in the middle of all the chaos. "It seems he wasn't injured or knocked off the broom luckily, but he is taking a landing right now, maybe Slytherin will have to continue on with just six players."
You finally find Minho. Right now the thing making him stand out is that in the middle of all of this he is the one person flying slowly. The one sinking down and carefully landing his broom on the grassy ground of the stadium. One of the school nurses, always on stand by, rushes over to him to check on him. You get up from your place.
Oddly enough they let you through. Maybe because there is too much happening at once to really pay attention to one small Hufflepuff walking up to the side of the field, but sure enough no one is stopping you while you make your way towards Minho. He is sitting on the ground, back leaned against one of the walls of the stadium, the nurse is standing in front of him, slightly bowing down to talk to him while she takes a closer look at his head. He doesn't seem to be hurt badly, at least there is no visible wound. The school nurse discusses with someone for a bit and then another Slytherin boy – you think he's one of Minho's friends, you have seen him in the halls a couple of times – comes and helps Minho up. Minho throws an arm around the boy's shoulder for support and they leave together, probably they are headed for the hospital wing. Minho looks at you when they pass you and for a moment it looks like he almost stops dead in his tracks. But his friend keeps walking so all he does is flash you a smile over his shoulder while throwing a victory sign with his free hand. And then he's gone.
Slytherin's seeker catches the Snitch a few minutes later, putting them ahead again and winning the game for their team. But Lee Minho is not there to celebrate with the rest of his team. You wrap your scarf around you a little tighter and hurry back, the mood in the Hufflepuff common room is going to be sour tonight but yours is a little too good.
It is Saturday afternoon and the castle is oddly quiet. Almost everyone, except for the first and second years that are not permitted to go out on Hogsmeade trips yet, has left for the day. And even those that are staying behind are scattered all over the castle grounds. Playing hide and seek in the winding corridors or lazing around by the lake and enjoying the good weather. And yet you are here, in one of the big hallways with the huge windows and the dust gathering on the armaments lining the wall. The door to the hospital wing is never closed completely and there is always at least one nurse around to take care of potion brewing accidents, spells gone wrong and less magical injuries like paper cuts and bruises. The one that is on duty right now is rearranging a shelf filled with potions and ingredients when you finally muster up the courage to push open the door and step inside. She looks up at you and gives you a warm smile.
"Can I help you, dear?", she asks. You can almost feel the way she is quickly scanning you to check whether you came because of an injury or for something else. So probably she arrives at the conclusion before you even get the chance to say anything.
"I'm, uh, looking for Lee Minho", you stammer. She nods, a knowing smile on her face.
"Quite popular that boy, ever since he got admitted yesterday there have been more visitors than we usually get in a whole week", she says sounding a bit amused. Then she nods her chin over in the direction of one of the beds. "He's over there. He was sleeping earlier I think but if he's awake you can stay and talk to him for a while. He should still be taking it easy though, got a mild concussion from that stupid ball game. I really wonder why we even let students play this, I can't even begin listing all the Quidditch injuries I had to treat this year alone."
You quickly thank her before she can go into a whole rant about the dangers of Quidditch and hurry over to the bed she pointed at. It can hardly be missed. There is an impressive collection of sweets and cheesy get well soon cards on the table next to it considering that there have only been roughly 24 hours for them to accumulate. There are even a few flowers – probably secretly picked somewhere on the grounds – in an empty potion bottle that is being used as a vase. Minho's eyes are wide open and focused on a book with the titles Cats – A Witches Best Companion. You clear your throat hesitantly and the sound that comes out is somewhat of a choked squeal. Minho looks up from his book and the second he sees you he closes it and puts it down on his crowded bedside table. He's looking at you intensely without saying a word.
"Hey", you whisper to break the awkward tension that is beginning to build up. You quickly pull up a chair that is standing close by to sit down next to his bed and put down the bag you had been carrying on the floor.
"Why are you here?", he asks and shit, maybe you really shouldn't have come after all.
"Slytherin won", you say as if that answers anything. He raises an eyebrow and even though he keeps his mouth shut you can practically hear him say so what?
"Well, I kind of can't take you out on that date today." You are not sure if the hint of frustration in his voice is directed at you for being so stupid and showing up either way or at himself for not being able to take you out like he said he would.
"Oh, I know", you stammer quickly. "But I thought you might be lonely with everyone gone today so I came over to keep you company... oh, and I got some food from the kitchen." You pick your bag up again to show him the random collection of food items you managed to get from the kitchen before coming here. A bottle of pumpkin juice, a bit of bread, a few pastries and some apples. Minho looks at your treasures with big eyes and then up at you again with the same fascination.
"So you're telling me you missed out on your Hogsmead trip to have lunch with me in the hospital wing?", he asks. The curious glimmer in his dark eyes gives him something almost cat-like. He is watching you with the same intense gaze that street cats have when you slowly approach them, a small treat for them hidden in the palm of your hand. Move too fast and they might run away or even scratch you. But if you approach carefully they might eat out of your hand and let you pet them. It's all about being gentle and not scaring them away. And maybe talking to people is a bit like that as well.
"I just wanted to talk, there are a couple of things I'm curious about. And I didn't really have any other plans for today either way." The last bit is a blatant lie. You didn't really make plans with your friends but you know very well that they expected you to come along with them and maybe grab a butterbeer together or something like that. You didn't really tell them that you would come with them but that's more of a we do this every other weekend so we don't need to confirm it thing than a we didn't really make plans thing. But oh well, they're going to have to go without you this time.
"Well, it's terribly boring all alone in here, so please, talk to me", Minho encourages you with a sweet smile and suddenly you've forgotten all about what you wanted to say. Even though you actually prepared what you wanted to say in advance, went over it in your head several times on the way here. And suddenly it's all gone as if someone directed a memory loss spell at you.
"Uh, how are you doing?", you stutter instead. You are kind of just now realising that this is the first long conversation you've ever had with Minho. And for some weird reason, it's happening after he asked you out on a date. You barely know him. And just a week you were sure that he doesn't even know your name.
"I'm okay, my head hurts a little and when I move too fast I get dizzy, but I guess it could be worse. They said all I got was a small concussion. The nurse that took care of me earlier kept rambling about how stupid I am for playing such a reckless sport and how I'm lucky I didn't break my neck falling off that broomstick. Oh, would you give me that pumpkin juice? They only give me water here and I'm already bored of it."
He's talking fast and a little rambly as if he's talking to a good friend. A little stunned you take out the bottle and hand it to him while you look around if there is a glass anywhere. But before you have any chance of finding one Minho has already taken a sip straight from the bottle, screwed it shut and handed it back to you with a smile. Does he expect you to share this with you? Maybe it’s a silly thing to get flustered over but it feels like something very intimate considering you two are basically strangers.
"Why me?", you blurt out the question you've been meaning to ask. But you had planned to build it up better, get a conversation going first and then casually and hopefully also somewhat smoothly ask him why he would want to ask you out of all people on a date.
"Pardon?"
"Why did you ask me to go on a date with you? We barely know each other", you whisper. You can feel the blush creeping up on your cheeks so you look down at the floor instead to avoid Minho's intense cat gaze.
"Oh, that's easy, because I'm curious about you. Not to sound like a stalker, but I have kind of been watching you for a while, y/n", he explains. Despite the blush that you are sure is evident your head snaps up again.
"You know my name?", you blurt out. Minho grins at you.
"Of course I do, do you think I'd ask you on a date if I didn't even know who you are? You are a Hufflepuff, one year below me, good at Charms but not so good at Potions and your favourite flowers are buttercups."
He knows all of that? Even remembered the stupid buttercup thing even though you were sure that it was such an insignificant encounter to him. That you were insignificant to him. Because you don’t quite fit in with the world where Lee Minho belongs. Lee Minho belongs with the popular kids and you... you just don’t.
"But I'm so... normal compared to you."
Normal wasn't the first word that came to mind. Boring. Ordinary. One of many. Just another brick in the wall. There is nothing special about you. Nothing that would capture his attention. Minho laughs.
"I wouldn't say so. You are kind. You help water the plants after class, you feed stray pets that roam the grounds and you come to visit a boy you barely know in the hospital wing even though you could have gone out with your friends. I’d say that makes you a very special person, but maybe not in the standout way of special. Plus, you are pretty cute."
For some reason, it's the last part that makes you freak out a little. Cute? Lee Minho thinks you're cute? The school's heartthrob and certified pretty boy just called you cute?
"I-", you begin even though you have no idea what you really want to say and luckily Minho interrupts you before you can just stutter out something stupid again.
"I know this is probably a little weird, but I'm really just curious about you and I wanted to ask you out to spend some time with you and maybe get to know you better, that's all there is to it."
"Let's do it then. Let's have our date right here and now. It's almost like a little picnic." You are not sure what spirit possessed you to give you that sudden boost of confidence but now the words are out and you can't take them back anymore. To your surprise, Minho is chuckling softly while patting the mattress.
"Climb on then, it feels so awkward with you sitting on that chair", he sits up a bit more, shuffling his back against the pillow and pulling his legs a little more towards himself to make room for you at the end of the bed. You climb on hesitantly and sit down cross-legged, placing the bag of food between you like a picnic basket. "Look, that's much more comfortable, isn't it?", Minho comments once you are seated. He reaches into your bag and rummages through it for a while until he pulls out one of the pastries and starts nibbling on it. You assume that this is where you should start trying to make some small talk. Ask him about his hobbies or his families or anything. Just say something. Anything.
"So, uh, what were you going to do with me today?", you manage to ask. It's a stupid question but it's better than sitting here in silence and watching him eat. You also reach into the bag and grab yourself an apple, mostly just to have something to busy your hands with. Minho tilts his head to the side a little, blows his bangs out of his face with a small huff.
"Oh, I didn't really make plans, I thought we'd just figure it out together. You know, walk around town a little, maybe sit down somewhere. I thought about taking you to that tea shop everyone seems so obsessed with. Madam Puddifoot's? Have you been there before? I heard it's really cute and cosy."
"It can get a little cramped though... and it's usually full of couples", you reply. Awkward silence once again. Minho is munching on his pastry, trying – and failing – to not let too many crumbs drop onto the bedding. You hesitantly take a small bite of your apple and almost choke on it when he speaks up again.
"I have been curious about this for a while now, but why buttercups? Back then you left before I could ask. I've never heard anyone else say that they like them. Usually, when you ask someone for their favourite flower they say stuff like roses or tulips or maybe sunflowers. You are the only person I know that likes buttercups."
"Oh", you whisper. You nervously roll your apple between your hands a little to mask your fidgeting but probably that only makes it look more awkward. "I actually just panicked and said the first flower I thought of."
Minho looks at you with a dumbfounded expression on his face and then he begins to laugh again. "And I was really researching flower meanings and trying to find all sorts of explanations", he says. He slowly cards his fingers through his hair and for the first time you notice that he is also blushing a little. "But you know, I think they actually fit you. They are so cute and have such a lively colour, just like you. They have meanings like joy, happiness and childishness attached to them. Not in a bad way though. More like being carefree and enjoying life in a way that only a child can I guess. Oh, and the roots are apparently used for some healing potions while the rest of the flower can be poisonous. It's really interesting for such a common little flower to have so much history. I mean they grow almost everywhere, some people would even call them weeds, but there are so many fairy tails and legends about them. I think you're a little like that. You think you are boring and mundane and one of many but actually there is so much more to you."
A heavy silence falls between you once again when Minho has finally stopped speaking. You are sure that at this point your face is glowing bright red and for some reason, you feel like you might tear up. You wish you had some pretty words for him as well. Wish you could explain to him how you used to have this stupid crush on him when you still thought that he was just a pretty boy that everyone was looking up to. And how you kind of tried to ignore these feelings after you noticed that there were literal clubs of girls dedicated to crushing on him and his pretty looks. And you didn't want to be a part of it. You didn't want to be in love with the person everyone made Minho out to be. You wanted more. And now here Minho is, right in front of you, making you fall for him all over again. You wish you could say something like that but instead, all you do is smile.
"I didn't know you were such a romantic."
"I'm trying my best", he chuckles. He reaches out a hand and for a minute you think he might grab yours but then he just kind of places it on the bed between you. "Is it working?"
"Yeah", you whisper. Softly you place your hand above his and he immediately links your fingers together with a big grin on his face.
"You know, I saw you at the match. I was so happy that you actually came to watch. You even look a little like a buttercup with that yellow scarf wrapped around your head. And next thing I know I get hit by a Bludger."
"Oh, I'm sorry", you mumble. Even though you are sure that he is not accusing you, you can't help but feel responsible now.
"No, it's not your fault. I guess I was just a little too distracted with trying to impress you", he says. And then he winks. Lee Minho is holding your hand and winking at you. Maybe you are actually the one that got a Bludger to the head. There is no way you are not just knocked out and dreaming all of this up. Minho squeezes your hand gently, prompting you to look up at him and see the very real cat-like grin on his face.
"But you can make it up to me if you want to", he says, a sly smirk tugging at the corners of his lips while he is speaking. "If you are free next weekend you could let me take you on another date. This time we’re really going out, we go sit at that cheesy tea shop surrounded by couples and hold hands and all that and on the way back I get you one of these magical love apples from Honeydukes. How does that sound?"
You tilt your head to the side and pretend to think about it while tugging your bottom lip between your teeth and humming to yourself. Inside your head, a voice is screaming to just say yes already but there is no harm in letting him struggle a little for what he wants. Also, stray cats run if you jump at them too quickly. It's better to hold back and let them come to you instead. Let curiosity take the better of them until they crawl right in your lap. Finally, you nod your head and give Minho the brightest smile you can.
"I think I'd like that."

A man in a dark robe sat at the end of a long table. His cracked nails tapped on the wood, the clicking sounds becoming faster and more frustrated each time. He breathed in sharply, narrowing his eyes and glancing around him at his followers, all dressed in ominous black and looking in fear at him.
“Harry Potter,” he spat the name out, “has defeated me for the last time.”
“Lord Voldemort, what can we do to help,” a woman with curly black hair and a deranged look on her face spoke up, smiling unnaturally.
Voldemort spoked again. “Find his weakness.”
A man with long, unnatural-seeming blonde hair spoke up. “I have heard Draco talk of a girl...”
Voldemort looked at him expectantly, giving the impression his head would be on a stick if this wasn’t good.
“Apparently she’s his little...girlfriend. They’re supposed to be staying over together this summer.”
Voldermort sat up in his chair, stroking the snake that curled around the arm. “Find the girl...destory her...destory him. Put her in danger, and he breaks...” he pondered. “Lucious?”
“Yes, my Lord?” he asked, timidly.
“Good work. Where are they now?”
“Twelve Grimmauld Place,” another man answered. “But that place has dozens of protection charms. Done by Dumbledore himself.”
“Well,” Voldemort stood. “Then we wait for them to go outside.”

Focus. Focus.
Your staring contest with the box in front of you had not yet ended, and you were debating between willing yourself to open the box one more time or just give up and fall asleep.
Professor Lupin had said this would be one of the best ways to improve my dueling but...you shuddered, remembering what you had faced when you opened the box ten minutes ago. You may have won, but that didn’t help with what you had saw. Gaining courage, you raised your wand up and almost unclicked the lock, until you jumped at the sound of footsteps in the hallway.
Harry’s head popped in the door. “Hey,”
You smiled as you saw that his classes had tilted to slant above his left eye, askew. “Hey. You know, I’m really starting to wish we hadn’t found this boggart when we were cleaning up this old place. Makes for too hard of an opponent.
He chuckled. “You seem tired,” he came over to you, gently taking your wand down from the ‘ready’ stance it was in. “Take a walk with me.”
“It’s nine o’clock,” you complained, fixing his glasses.
“So?” He asked.
You laughed and shrugged, tucking your wand into the pocket of your jeans. “I’ll get my coat.”
Pulling your hands through the sleeves of the nearest jacket you could find, you bounded down the steps and out the front door. Harry grabbed your hand, waving goodbye to the rest of 12 Grimmauld place’s occupants, took you through the door.
You two walked to only the sounds of your feet on the pavement until you giggled.
“What?” Harry asked.
You pulled a piece of hair behind your ear. “Nothing, nothing. It’s just - I don't know. I kind of feel like we’re muggles right now, I guess. Like we’re just a normal couple.”
Harry smiled, contemplating the idea. “I kind of like that. Why don't we just forget the whole ‘Boy who Lived’ ordeal, and the facts that you can duel circles around anyone-”
“Harry...” you said bashfully.
“It’s true! Let’s just...be y/n and Harry. Just for this walk.”
“That sounds nice,” you said, stopping. You reached up to kiss him on the cheek until you felt the hair on your neck rising and a chill crawl up your spine. Nervous, you glanced around, waiting for something to pop out from the shadows, for a figure to emerge from the trees.
Suddenly, a pair of arms grabbed your swirling you around, causing your vision to become blurred. When it came to a stop, you found a knife pressed to your throat. To scared to turn around or look down to see who was holding you hostage, you glanced at Harry, who had a man approaching him from behind. Before you could shout a warning, you heard a voice come from your captor. One that you knew and dreaded. Voldemort.
“Harry Potter. We meet again. I only have one simple request of you,” he said his voice biting and snakelike.
Enraged, Harry glared at him, seething. “Let her go.”
“Why of course,” he said, confusing you as you felt more pressure being applied to your throat. “Two conditions. Give me your wand, and I let her go.”
Gladly, Harry tossed his wand in your direction. A bony hand picked it up. “Wait, what was the second condition?”
Before Harry could understand what was going on, the man from behind grabbed him, putting him in the same position as you. “The second condition,” Voldemort continued. “Is that I duel her. If she wins, you go back to your miserable life. If she loses...well, I don’t think you’d want to contemplate that option.”
Suddenly, you were released and thrown to the ground. Voldemort darted away from you, grabbing and pocketing Harry’s wand on the way.
“You got this, y/n. You’re amazing. I believe in you,” Harry reaussured, though the tears on his cheek didn’t improve your confidence at all.
Voldemort raised his wand, taking up his shadowy cloak with him. “Now miss L/n. I believe it is appropriate for wizards to bow before a duel.” He took his turn, lowering and then raising himself. “Your turn.”
“Never,” you said through gritted teeth.
Voldemort lifted his arms, exaggerating his hand movements. “Well that’s hardly appropriate-”
You took the time while he was distracted to shout a spell at him. “Petrificus totalus!”
He blocked your spell, starting at you. “Quite rude are we? Avada Kedavra!”
You dodged the deadly green light coming from his wand. Countless spells left you wand until you remembered your boggart. It wasn’t Voldemort. And I faced it. And I won. If I can do that...”
“Expeliarmus!” You shouted, and watched as Voldemort’s wand fell. In horror, he stared at what you had just done.
“This isn’t over,” he hissed, running to the wand that had fallen beside him. “Muller! Take me back!”
Without another word, the man holding Harry released his grip and disappeared along with Voldemort into a cloud of black smoke speeding towards the sky.
Harry ran towards you, tears staining your jacket’s shoulder. “Oh my god, y/n. You were amazing. You were- I though I was going to lose you. I thought...”
“I know,” you answered. “But I’m here.” You took his hand, kissing him on the cheek. “I’m still here.”

Rereading Harry Potter as a twenty-two year old brings out more feelings about the Marauders than I used to have. (And I used to have a lot).
These people were mine and my friend's ages.
My brain just betrays me and focuses on the loss that they all went through so early in life.
James and Lily, though it was always apparent that they died too early, becomes so much more heartbreaking when I think about how I have a best friend with her own small, happy family. One that I'm pretty damn close too, and just imagining that being ripped away so suddenly and so unfairly breaks my heart. They never got the opportunity to teach Harry anything more than a few words, how to give kisses, and how to ride a toy broom. They didn't get to see his first scraped knees from climbing trees, or take him to get his first wand, or meet his best friends, or meet his first girlfriend. James didn't get to teach him how to shave. Lily didn't get to teach him that a man should know how to cook a meal properly and of course to teach him how to get James to give into anything that they asked him. They didn't get to see his wedding, meet their grandkids, babysit their grandkids, help an exhausted Harry and Ginny out with tips on how to get the baby to sleep through the night (you know, without using magic-cause you know they were tempted). Not only did they not get to raise Harry, they didn't get to have big Thanksgiving dinners with their friends that were really family. They didn't get to give Sirius shit when Harry threw up on his band tee shirt and he had to wear on of James' dads' knit sweaters. They didn't get to see Remus and Tonks. They didn't get to be snarky about Snape being a professor or Lucious Malfoy, who thinks he's so hot he needs to wear a bow in his hair. They didn't get to continue fighting with each other and loving each other and helping each other grow.
Sirius (who is my favorite character) breaks my heart so much. This is a guy who at a very early age in life is wrongfully imprisoned, and accepted it. Because at some level, he felt responsible for the death of not one, but two of his closest friends, and the fact that his godson wouldn't grow up knowing either of these people that he cherished. He escaped from Azkaban easily, BUT ONLY when Harry was in danger. He didn't care that he was locked away for something that he hadn't done. He just...I have so many feelings about him. And then he gets locked away in his childhood home that was undoubtedly one of the biggest triggers in his life. One that he was sure he'd left behind for good. And then, again, to save his godson that he loves so much and wants to protect so much, he leaves yet another prison and marches to his death. Nobody deserves that. He had nobody visit him, write to him, attempt to prove his innocence while he rotted away for twelve years. As a twenty-two year old, looking forward and just erasing twelve years of my life is heartbreaking and unfathomable.
Remus Lupin deserved so much better in his life. He thought he was a monster for his whole life. Until he gets to be surrounded by these friends who find him so human and want him around constantly. Who don't care about the thing he thinks so clearly defines him, that he thinks makes the rest of him so not worthy of knowing. Then in one fell swoop, he loses all four of the people closest to him in his life. James and Lily's deaths are terrible to go through on their own. But he also thought Peter was gone and though he didn't want to believe it, he feared that his best friend had indeed gone off the rails and been part of all three of his other closest friends' deaths. One day he had a group of supporters, friends, family. The next, they were gone. Harry wasn't in the picture, Dumbles had shipped him off as quickly as possible without thinking that the aunt and uncle who despised all that had to do with the wizarding world, might not be the best plan of action. Lupin would have needed some help with raising Harry, especially around full moons - which he'd have had from Mrs. Weasley or Hagrid or MINERVA MCGONAGALL, but by god, he'd have grown up knowing that his parents had died for something. He wouldn't know what to think of the "notorious mass murderer, Sirius Black" simply because the person raising him still couldn't find it in himself to teach somebody to hate his best friend. (Lupin wouldn't fully accept that Sirius was guilty.) Anyways, he lost it all and along with the people he loved beyond words, he lost any hope he had for the future. Sure, Voldy was "gone" but so was anybody that never cared about the werewolf part of him.
Peter, is a tough one to relate to, simply because I couldn't see any of my friends, even on their worst days, betraying each other that way (also, I hated him for A LOT of years). However, neither could James, Lily, Sirius, or Lupin. Peter got swept away, I believe, first in his need to be powerful. Though he had these great friends, he never saw himself to be as skilled, respected, or loved by others as they were. Even Lupin, the werewolf, was always chosen before him. He found somebody that promised him glory and a spot next to him if he provided this "simple" favor. Let's face it, Voldy was charming enough to make you feel like he couldn't possibly really be harmful. How could he? He was just trying to make all of the wizard populations' lives easier. It would be better for everybody. Peter thought that perhaps, if he helped, he'd be praised and beloved by everybody in this new society. Once he was charmed however, there was no going back. There was no way for the scared twenty-something year old to back out from this psycho that he'd pledged his allegiance too. He saw how often that worked out for other people (about 0%), and now he was terrified. He just wanted to stay in Voldy's good graces, because Voldy sure was quick with the "killing curse first, questions never" when he didn't get what he wanted. Peter got lost. I can picture my closest friends getting lost. I can picture myself getting lost. To that degree? I'd like to say with 100% certainty that I would never, but can any of us do that unless we're truly put in the position?
My heart keeps breaking over them. These poor kids' (because any twenty-something year old will agree that they're not adults yet) lives got so scary and twisted and ruined that they had to grow up and them bam, war and shit happened and nobody knew how to comfort Lupin because they couldn't fathom it. They smeared Sirius's name, because that's what happens and mourned a not-dead Peter. They buried two promising young adults and wondered where their newly orphaned son had been sent. It really kills me.

CPT 004: For Life
"Everything isn’t going to be easy, but I’ll protect you, for life."
Locking the door after herself, Hana left behind empty walls filled with desperate longing to belong somewhere, to be noticed and a faint echo of Hosung. She was still trying to escape from the jaws of destiny, without realizing of how she had woken up to a new dawn. After all this time, where she had put herself behind the trail and had found nothing, Hana had unlocked the door to all of her questions, and hopefully just she was going to choose the right route.
Knowing of how her father would have scolded her for not wearing any gloves, there was a small smile evident on her pale lips. Tucking the jaw to nose into her bright red scarf, she knew of how she always preferred to have no gloves. It had always made her feel more alive, sensing this crispy cold biting down to her skin and bones. It was the only reminder to continue fighting, even if it was deep within her mind for the time being.
The front gate made a sharp sound and shivers ran over Hana's spine as she was walking towards Han River, towards that very same spot, where Hostung had left a stain of blood, eaten by the grass underneath all of the snow that had fallen in this short period of time. Somehow it felt different this year, somehow the pain in her heart was ready to give in. Hana just wished to be completely numb, but she had always been hesitating to take that step and succumb to that single, needy wish. Perhaps it would've been easier, but because of her brother, she wanted to re-live everything over and again - as a reminder just like cold against her skin.
Being the predator pretending to be one of the lambs was a lot harder than Hana had ever expected, but time makes everything better. She was going to find him no matter what, but that poor child didn't know from where to even start. All the previous attempts had failed and she had hurt herself the most in that process. For three years she had been as if on automatic course, doing everything in calculated manner. Acting out as the one, who was just like the rest of the people around her - happy, smiling and forgetting of ever meeting anyone that once used to be part of their lives. She kept thinking if it was easier to actually not to recall any memories, and there were moments where Hana actually wished from the bottom of her heart that she was like everyone else.
Before reaching to that park beside river, to that exact place, Hana had to go to a certain flowershop, standing rather lonely beside apartment building. It is small, and overgrown with ivy, that during summer had lucious pink blossoms. Wooden framed shop-name was on top of the glass door, covered by the plants, but Hana knew well enough of what those letters read: Sally & Lily. With racing heart, she felt somewhat at ease as she recalled the memory of how Hosung had wanted to become a florist, and the flower she was going to get was a rarity amongst all - most importantly, it was his most favorite one. It used to be his most favorite one. While other kids had laughed at him and called him a girl, Hosung had always been proud for his calling. Her brother had always been different in so many ways, although they shared the rune-marking and were known to be twins, but she also knew that this was something that had brought him to his misery and... doom.
She was supposed to not remember. She should have forgotten him and what had happened, just like everyone else around her, but just somehow... ...Hana had always figured if it was somekind of a punishment for her. But for what?
Standing in front of the door for a moment, light breeze played with her dark hair and made her sneeze, making a small sound as if she was a mouse. Her hand hovered over the copper doorknob, and for a strange reason she took a deep breath in before actually taking the step and walking in, just like she had done that all the previous years. "Ah! I have been waiting for you!" Same words as all the previous years.
The small shop owner spoke with a gentle smile, and added: "I've got your order ready, young lady." Hana had silently walked in, cheeks slightly pink and hair stuck on her forehead. "Did you know that the blossom is specially bright this year," Sally spoke again, wiping her hands clean with her yellow apron and headed to the back room, leaving silent Hana to mend on her own. "You probably won't have the time to stay for a cup of tea, do you?" A voice could be heard from the back, filled with soft hope for Hana to change her mind, finally.
The customer didn't reply, and in silence she walked around, her heart beating in the same rythm as the antique clock in the back, hidden by the magnificent greenery around it. The shop itself was as if an oasis in the midst of busy city, and it was somehow still functioning although Sally had always been picky about her customers. Perhaps too picky, but Hana liked it. She would've been extremely sad if this place was tainted by strangers, who didn't know their place. All those different exotic flowers and plants made her feel instantyl at ease. It was as if a jungle around there, and Hana's steps stopped under the window with growing ice-ornaments on it. Looking down, she saw that the kid-sized wooden, engraved table with two matching chairs were still there. Even the letters that Hosung once scratched into the surface of one of the chairs were present, although after that deed Sally scolded him heavily and told him that she would have to paint it over. It had happened right before he... died.
H + H = FOREVER TWINS
They indeed had been inseparable as any doting siblings would have been, specially with Hana having been born later.
She had crouched down and just stared at the letters, feeling the knot in her throat as she swallowed, hard and heavy, keeping her tears down. It was no place to cry. She had promised herself never to cry again, not after that day when she was holding onto that lifeless body of a beautiful human being she once used to call as 'brother' or 'Oppa'. Not after the moment, when she was ripped away by countless of hands and put to sleep by these weird men and women in white gowns. Oh how much she had shed tears that day and countless nights afterwards, even all the medications that she had been injected with hadn't stopped the flow of raw emotions.
"Tea? No tea?" Shopkeeper had appeared out of nowhere and made Hana jump up, nearly losing her balance. "I am sorry, but..," she replied, but was stopped by a sharp nod in the mid-sentence. "Don't worry, I understand." Hana had never stayed for a casual drink and chat, as she had always wanted to get over with the annual rememberance day, but this time she felt differently. She just might have decided to...
The doorbell made a chirping sound as that little bell sang its tune. "I'll be right back, Snowflower," Sally noted and checked the ancient clock in the back. Hana was unusually late that day and it was unsettling for the woman. Leaving the girl on her own again, Sally went to get her package, making Hana tilt her head and wonder of why Sally had always called her by that name. Sure, Hosung had called her the same, but... why was she a Snowflower? It was yet another mystery that needed solving, and her mother had never been around enough to ask.
"She is still here?" The delivery girl with hooded jacket, sunglasses and ripped jeans asked from Sally, who just nodded in reply and signed her order, digitally. Hana, who was confused, kept peeking from the back of the room. This day kept getting stranger by the minute. "Sally. Tell her," young woman, not much older than Hana, nodded towards the one in question. Finally waving, she left as soon as she had appeared. Sally, the woman whom had always looked the same as long as Hana was able to remember left that mysterious package on the counter, wrapped in worn-out, black paper and returned to her beloved visitor. "Who was she?" Hana cautiously asked, actually not that curious. "A mutual," she was replied to with simple answer, that didn't carry much information. There was a gentle smile shimmering back from Sally's silver eyes, though and that left Hana think back to it later at that day. Looking back at that small table and chair with those letters, she then made a decision. There must have been a reason of why Sally had always pestered her to stay for a tea, every single year. Then, suddenly and out of the natural rythm of time, she spoke the words that many people without Hana's knowledge had been waiting to hear. "I will have tea with you, Aunt Sally. You know, like we used to have it, when we... when I was six."
How was it that this place still held the memories of Hosung? How come the letters were still on that stool? How was it that they hadn't been taken from here as well? How come the trace of her brother was still so warm in here?
"Alright," Sally continued to smile, wrapped her arms around girl's shoulders and lead Hana into the backroom, where the table for two had been set, as if the woman knew that this year, finally, Lee Hana was ready to sit down and talk.

#Empire S3 EP16: Absent Child~ Recap & Review *Lyons vs Dubois*
Man, this episode was full of fire on so many levels. I have to rate this episode a (10). Here is why....
This episode gave us a slap that even I felt, lovers to enemies, a revenge attack, touching moments and as always an OMG moment.
Two powerful families have a meeting to discuss a clap back gone too far. The Lyons vs The Dubois. Ms. Dubois begin to speak but her lawyer interjects.  Of course, he suggested the Lyons speak first. Cookie's agitation with the Dubois family has her OG temperament turned up to 1000. Cookie and Lucious makes it clear to the Dubois Family, they know they had Bella taken. Ms. Dubois  calls herself chastising  Lucious tone of voice as if he was her child. Cookie response to that was, " Bitch do you want me to jump across this table." Not surprise by Ms. Dubois comeback either, "you feeling froggy so leap. Man, I would love to see Cookie and Ms. Dubois have a little cat fight. Something tells me Ms. Dubois had her share of OG moments, she just classy with it.
Feelings are very emotional for The Lyon Family. Thirsty gives his statement about how this is about a child. Hakeem is missing from this meeting. According to Thirsty, Bella being taken has him distorted. Angelo say his family had nothing to do with Bella being taken. Jamaal points out the $5 million dollar check his family took for this war between the families to be over. Maybe $5 million wasn't enough. Jamaal seems like he is disappointed in Angelo. How much pay back does the Dubois Family want? Jamaal makes a point that the Dubois has scooped so low in having Bella taken. As a Dubois family member begins to speak, Andre makes it clear to Lucious; that's Ezekiel Dubois which is Snoop's banker. Remember, he told Snoop it wasn't good timing to invest in the Inferno project.  Ezekiel stated the Lyons caused Angelo his career. I agree with Jamaal, politics and taking a baby are two different things. Don't fight that dirty by involving a innocent child. Everyone emotions take over the meeting. Anika tells everyone to shut up. With tears in her eyes, Anika begs for help with finding her child and getting her child back. Ms. Dubois has the most sincere look on her face as she apologize to Anika. She basically tells Anika she is guilty by association. As Ms. Dubois rambles about her family connection, Lucious cuts her off. He see this meeting is a waste of time. Lucious called the Dubois family clap back fancy, lmao. However, he makes it clear his family clap back hits real hard. For a second, everyone sits in silence. Ms. Dubois tells Anika she has no idea what happened to her child. Cookie know she is lying. She asked, "Do y'all really want to go down that road?" That devilish look and that smirky smile on Cookie's face means danger coming.
Anika, Hakeem and Thirsty is waiting to be seen at the Child Protection Services Office. Anika sits blaming herself and feeling like her bad deeds has caused Bella to suffer. Hakeem shows maturity by telling her to not be so hard on herself. Bella was suppose to be release to Anika but now Bella is MIA. Motions has been filed on Bella's case with no knowledge of who did it. The social worker's supervisor said according to the motions, it will be months before they see Bella. Hakeem  gets very upset. "Last name Lyon, first name Bella. Last name Lyon, first name Bella. Find my daughter", Hakeem said aggressively. We have seen Hakeem be a spoil brat for season 1 and 2. We now see him loving someone other then his self. Children can have that affect on you.
Back at the Lyon mansion, Cookie and Lucious discuss the difference in the Lyon family and the Dubois. Cookie points out the Dubois has a power they haven't seen before. Lucious point out they are a monster they haven't seen before. The Dubois is winning this war because they are a powerful family that sticks together. Cookie understands and knows the weakness of their family. The Lyons stay divided so much and that's their weakness as a family. Cookie tells Lucious they have to do  better but it's not in them. Thirsty tells them they underestimated the Dubois. On paper, none of the Lyons are fit to take care of a child. Lucious and Anika marriage has to end quickly that's the only hope to get Bella back. Until Bella is returned, the family has to stay out of trouble and stick together.  Yes they can come together in a crisis. Can they truly stay out of trouble and peaceful with each other while in that crisis? I don't think so because this Vegas deal is a big issue.
Lucious is preparing to take back his throne. Jamaal stops by hoping to catch a sneak peek. Lucious decides to do a remix to the track him and Jamaal did. Lucious wants to put a rapper on the track but Jamaal isn't feeling that. Lucious always take over. Jamaal is talented and he is also creative. Lucious calls Jamaal's approach soft. Shots fired as always. Against his judgement, Jamaal agrees to meet with Lucious and the rapper he wants on the track. Don't know why Lucious can't let it be?
I was so happy to see Porsha. Porsha hasn't been in many scenes this season. Cookie is talking to Porsha about getting When Cookie Met Lucious approval from  Lucious for Vegas. Shine and Andre enters Cookie's apartment. Cookie has her plan in motion for the Vegas deal. It also looks like she has a plan for getting her grandbaby back. Shine is worried about his position with Empire. His last name isn't Lyon so how does Cookie plan work for him? Andre is on edge. Looks like Andre is losing control. His only desire is to kill Lucious. Shine leaves before he has to kill Andre. Cookie tells Andre to get proactive and call his doctor.  Lmao, at Porsha. She tried telling Andre she has a doctor. Cookie yells, "Shut up Porsha. Mind your business."
Jamaal arrives to the studio to find no rapper. The rapper allegedly got shot 4 times. Jamaal is like the pot just thickens. Lucious feels the shooting wasn't confirmed so the meeting still happening. In walks the rapper for the track. What do you know, the rapper is Fetty Wap. He in the studio on crunches and a bandage on his arm. His shooting was just confirmed. Jamaal sees him popping pills for his pain. Was that a flashback for him? As Fetty begins rapping, his wounds begin to bleed. Jamaal is concerned but Lucious see it as hunger. Jamaal agrees the rapper is dope but the track isn't right. Lucious always finds away to take shots at his sons. He compares Jamaal getting shot one time to Fetty's character being shot four times and in the studio working. But Jamaal shot back shut it down. He asked, "how many of y'all been shot before". Everyone in the studio raised there hand but Lucious. Boom!!! Jamaal isn't backing down from Lucious. He makes his point about Lucious not dealing with his father being shot, him taking a bullet for  him and that he knows music better then Lucious think. Jamaal isn't as soft as Lucious be thinking.
Okay! Andre has snapped. I guess Andre said forget the pills and lost his mind. He really has nothing to lose so that makes him so dangerous. He blames Lucious for everything but he also has unfinished business with another person. Anika thinks it's Lucious walking in the  office. Nope it's Andre. Funny seeing husband and wife playing such a violent scene. Their characters are far from who they are; which makes this interesting. Anika must have thought Andre forgave her. He locks the door and tell her they have unfinished business. Anika played it off but Andre reminds her of all her dirty deeds with killing his wife and baby. I was scared the way he grabbed and slammed her on the table. He was ready to make Anika feel his build up of rage. Somebody need to feel his wrath since it can't be Lucious. She saved herself. She confess she sold her soul and now her daughter paying the price. Now, Andre felt that was suffering enough. He didn't kill her. He told her now suffer like I do. I don't think this is over. If they get Bella back, Andre will seek his revenge on Anika some way and some how. That's how it should go down in my eyes. I will be shock if this was the end of that. Hakeem is at home and worried about his daughter. He wants to be alone and kicks everyone out his condo.
Cookie and Andre has a meeting with Marcon. Andre is annoyed with Cookie. Cookie is trying to sell the When Cookie Met Lucious story as the opening act for Vegas. Cookie is including Lucious in this deal but Andre is trying to exclude Lucious. Andre is determined to take Lucious deal. I mean it was his deal from the start. Lucious wanted no part of Vegas. Marcon wants Lucious. That's it and that's all. I have a funny feeling this deal isn't a good one for Lucious.  Hakeem goes live expressing wanting his daughter back. He points out the Dubois had something to do with her being taken. His rap had me so teary eye. His expression of not having his daughter pulls at your heart strings. As always, Hakeem music makes an impact on his fans. Just as Ms. Dubois admit to not having the baby and Angelo not wanting this all to get out of control; a mob of fans comes running up chanting Free Bella and holding free Bella signs.
Lucious feeling bad for Bella being taken. He doesn't feel like all of the family problems and issues is his fault. He asked his mother was he a good father. Mama Leah said, " You not even a good person". CTFU!!!! Sad but true, Lucious agreed with her.
Andre and Cookie have a heated talk about Lucious and the Vegas deal. Cookie  feel they need Lucious to close this deal. Andre feels they don't. He feels Cookie will always protect Lucious. Sadly, Andre is right; she will. Andre has been pushed to no returned at this  point. I see him taking down his entire family if he need to in  order to kill Lucious. Even tho Cookie is on point about Giuliana. Giuliana is about to burn Lucious again. Andre agrees but he doesn't care. Nessa comes to Andre defense. Man, she should have kept her mouth close. She tells Cookie she shouldn't brought Lucious in on the Vegas deal. Followed by Andre is grown and you can't talk to him like that. Cookie asked Andre to understand what she was about to do. Before you know it, Cookie slaps Nessa so hard my face hurts. Nessa might need a dentist. Cookie makes one last attempt to get Andre to understand, without doing things her way....they will lose everything.
CHECK OUT THE SLAP OF ALL SLAPS SCENE
Lucious is playing the piano when Mama Leah comes in with a box. She show Lucious pictures of his father. She feel she would have been a much better mother if he didn't get killed and Lucious would be a better person. She feels violence made him who he is. Lucious feels he should have help his father. His mother said then he would have  got killed to. He compare his lack of courage to help his father to Jamaal courage to help him. Jamaal is special as she told Lucious; but I don't think Lucious put no light in him.  This was a touching moment to see Lucious have with his mother. She maybe crazy but you can see she love her son. Mama Leah gave Lucious the comfort he needed.
Jamaal goes on his rant about their track. Lucious tried to interrupt him. After Jamaal finish, Lucious showed him the studio. The studio was filled with pictures of his father. Lucious decided to do the song Jamaal's way. I guess what his mother told him touched some part of him. I  must admit, Jamaal and Lucious working together is powerful. Remember when he selected Jamaal to run Empire. The track was done and Lucious had a smile on his face.
Andre brings Hakeem to the laundromat. Cookie isn't feeling Hakeem being there. She makes Andre take Hakeem out of there.  What do you know? Cookie had Shine to grab Angelo. Angelo was tied up and beaten. Angelo tries to talk sense into Cookie. Angelo admits he was hurt but he would never go that low to take her granddaughter. Cookie tells Angelo, "Everything your mama said about me was right." She ordered Angelo to talk to his mother. She walks out leaving Shine and his crew to make her point more clear to Angelo.
Cookie tells Lucious she doesn't think Angelo is in on taking Bella. She went straight OG on Angelo and he confessed to nothing. Cookie tells Lucious that When Cookie Met Lucious will be on the stage in Vegas. She admit to talking to Marcon. She tried to convince Lucious they need to stick together as a family. Their  disconnect as a family caused them a blind attack. Cookie tried to get him to see her plan is a win win for the family. Empire gets the casino and Lucious gets the show. In walks Giuliana worrying about what she gets. Marcon informed her of the meeting he had with Cookie. She came back just to make sure Lucious does what she wants him to do. Like her puppet, Lucious tells Cookie Inferno is the Vegas deal. Lucious picked his self and Giuliana over his family. Cookie tells Lucious, "I did 17 years for you". Giuliana said, " Thank you for that. I will take it from here". Girl bye!!! Cookie should have slapped her mouth closed. Lucious sat there and said nothing. Unbelievable how he picking a woman who has betrayed him over a woman who has always had his back. You can't say who is the mother of his kids because he treats his sons like crap as well. See, this is why Cookie needs to just let Andre lose on Lucious. Lucious only cares about Lucious. He has no sense of family. Every time you think he is putting their needs first, he always backstab you and put his need first. How much love does he have for Giuliana? Hmmmmmm!
Nessa and Andre talk. She realize Andre has used her to his ability. The Vegas deal has no spot for her. Nessa was disrespected by Cookie, Tori took her song and Giuliana offered him Vegas. Andre did nothing to defend Nessa and was ready to sleep with Giuliana. Nessa isn't Rhonda. Nessa doesn't understand Andre is a ticking time bomb. His family is his target especially his father. Andre tried to convince Nessa that it all can work out for her. He kisses Nessa but she pushes him away and starts hitting him. I am confused, is she in love with Andre or mad he didn't further her career? She calls Andre crazy and that he is.
Angelo wasn't killed. He vowed to have every Lyon thrown in jail. After getting his wounds medical attention from his mama, Angelo wanted to go to the police. At the ring of a bell we get that OMG moment of the episode. Extraordinary times calls for extraordinary measures in the words of Diana Dubois. The shocking look on Angelo's face when he see a woman come in the room, pushing a stroller with Bella inside. Omgggg!!! Will Angelo scoop to his mother level or will he remember the love he once had for Cookie? How can you have a foundation to help underprivileged kids but kidnap a baby? What will Angelo do especially after being tortured for information? Will he give Bella back?
Empire really has us on the edge of our seats. The next two episodes have to be explosive. Don't know about you but I can't wait.  Stay tune!!
