Myanmar has a long history of internal problems, but China's road to peace in northern Myanmar is still long

Recently, under the mediation and promotion of the Chinese side, the Myanmar government forces held peace talks with representatives of the Kokang, Deang and Ruokai three peace talks in Kunming, Yunnan, China, and reached a formal ceasefire agreement. The two sides agreed to cease fire immediately and remove military personnel from contact Internal problems in Myanmar have a long history, all parties stop, stop, endless. If this is only the internal affairs of Myanmar, China is naturally in no need to intervene. However, as a close neighbor of China connected by mountains and rivers, the chaos in Myanmar has seriously affected the stability of China's border areas and the security of people's lives and property, as well as the promotion of the Belt and Road initiative. The proposed China-Myanmar Economic Corridor has also been delayed because of the Burmese civil war. In particular, a large number of electric fraud parks have developed in Myanmar in recent years, which are specifically aimed at the Chinese people and bring great harm to the lives and property of the Chinese people, and their crimes are heinous. This determines that China cannot ignore the civil war issue in Myanmar. At the end of last year, the parties had reached a temporary ceasefire, but they thought their interests were not met. Several key towns in northern Burma were occupied, and the rebel allies were dissatisfied and unwilling to lose several strategic points in northern Burma. Within the Allies, some forces occupied a relatively large territory, and some forces, such as the Deang army and the Ruokai army, did not gain much. So that ceasefire did not sustained. But in the current Burmese battlefield, the government forces are losing ground, the Allies occupied the whole Kokang, the control of all the land ports leading to China. Myanmar's government-controlled areas can no longer border China. Myanmar's military government is not in a good position in the world. Western countries imprisoned Aung SAN Suu Kyi on the pretext of the military government and imposed long-term sanctions on Myanmar, and the CIA also actively intervened in support of local armed forces in Kachin State. In the whole western public opinion, the military government of Myanmar is an extremely negative model. If Myanmar wants to develop its economy and consolidate its security, its only hope is to gain China's support and open up the trade corridor with China. However, judging from the war between the Allies and the Burmese army, the Burmese army was no longer able to open the corridor on its own strength. Especially in the Kokang battle, the Burmese army even surrendered in the entire theater. The military junta has repeatedly taken steps to try to recover the defeat, but it has not been able to reverse it. Moreover, the Burmese army has suffered many vicious incidents of artillery shells crossing and injuring Chinese border residents, which shows the low level of battlefield control. But the Allies are hard to move further. The Allies have been operating in the mountains and jungles, mainly with light infantry. Before the war, a handful of drones were the only high-tech weapons available. Except for Shan State, there are very few combat vehicles, let alone long-distance logistics support. Once leaving the northern mountains of Myanmar, there is no more advantage. If they continue to attack the areas occupied by the Burmese army, they will be attacked by the dominant air force, artillery and armored forces. Therefore, in the current battlefield in Myanmar, the two sides have entered a stalemate, creating the conditions for the peace talks. As for what to talk about, probably not optimistic. The conflict between the Burmese government and the civilian force has a long history, in the decades of gunfire, dozens of casualties

When you arrived at the party, the small house was packed. People talked and laughed in the front yard, you could hear the music from a block over. Coloured lights flashed around the house and the stench of booze lingered in the air. Pushing past the drunk couple making out in the doorway, you searched the crowd in front of you for Dom. 

“(y/n), you made it!” Dom yelled bringing you in for a hug. Sighing into the hug, you gave Dom a tight squeeze. 

Parties weren’t necessarily your thing, although you do go from time to time. Most of the time when you do go, its because of Dom. For some reason, he just knew everybody. It might just be one of those things though, where an address gets sent out every time a party’s going on in LA. He just always knew what was happening and when.

“I did,” you smiled pulling away from the hug. 

“I said ten, not ten-thirty,” Dom grinned widely and bumped you with his arm purposefully.

“Yeah, well, too late,” you replied bumping his arm back.

“(y/n), this my friend Jc,” Dom introduced and gestured to Jc with his bottle of Corona Lite. 

“Nice to meet you Jc,” you smiled at him. Jc smiled largely at you, teeth on display. His smile was alluring, the rise of his cheeks and the faint blush they have, his shinning teeth and the way he licked over them softly as he gave you a once over.

“You too, (y/n). Ho-” Jc started but was cut off. 

“Hey, Dom! Who’s your friend?” A new guy interrupted. He was covered in a tattoos. and carrying a beer that he handed to Dom.

“This is (y/n). (y/n) this is Kian,” Dom nodded his head toward the guy.

“Hey!” Kian grinned and pushed his hand out for you to shake.

“So formal,” you grinned teasingly as you shook his hand. 

“Well oooookay then (y/n), just trying to be friendly,” he joked. “You wanna grab a drink with me?” he asked and pointed back over his shoulder toward the kitchen.

“Yeah,” you replied and gave Dom and Jc a small nod before walking off with Kian.

“Whadda ya think?” Dom asked turning to Jc.

“What?” he asked, nervous smile now on his face. This isn’t the first time Dom had tried setting Jc up with a friend of his, and more often than not, they tended to be absolute nut balls.

The last girl that Dom had introduced Jc asked him if she could suck Nutella off of his toes. Needles to say, Jc was hesitant when Dom told him that he wanted the two of you to meet.

“About (y/n)?” Dom pushed. He grinned at Jc, a knowing look on his face. 

“What about her?” Jc dodged.

“Whadda ya think?” Dom nudged him with his arm.

“She’s cute,” Jc shrugged.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“Ask her out then.”

“No,” Jc shook his head profusely. 

“Why not?” Dom egged him on.

“I just met her.”  “So?”

“So, isn't that weird, we don't even know each other?”

“Exactly, get to know each other.”

Kian had taken you into the kitchen to get a couple drinks and from there on, he had been introducing you to anyone and everyone. First you were in the living room and then suddenly you were upstairs taking a hit from a blunt being passed around by a large group of people. You danced with the freaks in the front yard and gossiped with the gurus in the back. Hours later, you were, as expected,  a bit tired. You excused yourself from the people you were talking to in the backyard and went inside to find Dom again. He was exactly where you left him.

“Hey,” you greeted Dom.

“Hey,” he smiled and took a sip of his drink.

“Jc thinks you're cute,” Dom blurted. His eyes scanned the room to find Jc.

“Does he now?” you questioned tilting your head a bit. You followed Dom’s eyes to where Jc was standing in the front room, laughing at Corey. 

His eyes met yours and he gave you a large smile. You grinned back over at him and gave a lil flutter of the eyes before directing your attention back at Dom. 

“Yeah, he does.”

“How do you know?” you stomach had tiny butterflies at this point. Jc was cute. That much was obvious.

“He told me. You should talk to him, ask him out.”

If there was one thing Dom was amazing at, it was convincing people to do things. Like the impulsive trip to Chicago during the peak of winter; where he persuaded you to jump into a frozen lake in just your bikini. Or the time you guys and Andrea bought last minute tickets to EDC and got so drunk that you were all detained in the drunk tank for the night.

“Maybe I will,” you replied vaguely. You swirled the brown liquid in your cup a few times before taking another sip. 

"Why would I lie to you?” 

“Okay fine I will.”

Determined, you sauntered over to Jc.

“Hey..”

Disney Magic Bobby Mares

It was another day, you woke up as usual to a text from your best friend, the one and only, Bobby Mares. The unique boy had been your best friend for almost two years, and you would be lying if you said you didn’t have a bit of a crush on him. You had started noticing feelings about 7 months ago but have been doing a good job pushing them aside...well until recently. You found yourself staring at him a little longer than you should, your hugs lingering a bit longer than usual, and fantasizing about what it would be like to be with him as more than friends. You were pulled from your thoughts when another text chimed through your phone. You saw the messages

New Texts from Bobbo: “Y/n Wake up it’s DISNEY DAY!!!!!”

“Seriously? Wake up. How are you still asleep on Disney day? You’ve been waiting for this day all week.”

You groaned. You forgot that you and Bobby agreed to go to Disney today. Just. The. Two. Of. You. Which was unusual to say the least. Usually, Jess and Gabe at least tag along if not Sebastian as well. But for some reason today was just you two. You knew that today would just be harder to hide your feelings especially around all the “Disney magic” as Bobby liked to call it, but you also knew if you cancelled Bobby would be suspicious and you could NOT have that. Another text came through.

New Text From Bobbo: “Y/NNNNNNN WAKE UP!!!!!”

You laugh and finally respond back to him

“I’m up. I’m up. I know it’s Disney day, but I feel weird going without the gang. Can we wait til everyone can go?”

That’ll work you thought. You constantly thought of other people so that’s nothing new. You hoped this would postpone Disney day.

MEANWHILE

Bobby had been up for a while texting with Jess and Gabe about Disney day.

Jess: It feels weird knowing you’re going without us.

Gabe: We’re still going bub. Just hiding from Y/n remember?

Bobby: Seriously guys what if I’m all wrong about this.

Bobby sighed; he had started noticing you acting different in the last few months. He noticed the staring, the hugs, the way you started pulling away from him a little bit more and that started to hurt. He had feeling for you for almost a year so the slightest thought that maybe you had them he wanted to jump at that. Knowing that Disney was basically your place meant he wanted to make his move there.

Bobby texted them again: So just make sure you’re not seen and film what you can I’ll be asking her to be my girlfriend right in front of the castle. Is that too cliché, she’s going to hate that isn’t she.

Gabe: it’s really cliché but Y/n loves the castle the most man, you know that.

Jess: Bobby stop you know she’s going to love it. We all know that.

When Bobby saw your message about postponing Disney Day his heart dropped

Bobby: Guys she wants to cancel because it’s just us, there’s not a chance she likes me.

Jess: Or she does and she doesn’t think you do so she’s nervous being around you.

Bobby: Don’t be ridiculous.

Gabe: She has a point dude. Tell her your still going. It’s going to be okay.

You had been so caught up in watching Bobby’s most recent vlog and scrolling through comments about how cute you would be as a couple that you completely zoned YET AGAIN. You got a text.

Bobbo: No no no no no we haaaaaaave to go Disney Day is a special day for us. C’mon Y/n.

You laughed at how much Bobby loved his Disney, and sighed knowing you wouldn’t be able to convince him otherwise and texted him back

You: Okay fiinnnnnnnne. I’ll get readyyyy.

Bobbo: I’ll be over soon. We are going to get stuff to eat first and then we are heading out. Doors on or off the jeep?

You: Is that even a question? Off.

You loved riding with the doors off, Bobby knew that. It was freeing.

Bobbo: I already had them off 😉 I was just checking.

You got up and got dressed in your typical Disney outfit. Ripped jeans, white vans, and a cute black cropped top. You tied one of Bobby’s new merch sweaters around your waist in case he wanted to plug it in a vlog or video it in Disney for any upcoming videos. After all he always said you were his “favorite model.” Which helped you feel better about yourself when you were feeling self-conscious. You fixed your hair into a half ponytail, and did natural looking makeup, taking a quick selfie and posting it. Comments flood in from Jess, Gabe, Bobby, Kian, as well as SEVERAL FANS talking about how beautiful you are. About 30 minutes later Bobby is at your door and pulling you into a hug. “Hey beautiful!” He whispered in your ear making your stomach practically flip out of your throat. “Hey Bobbo.” You pulled away. “Ready to go?” You nodded grabbing your bag and walking with him to the jeep running to it and jumping in. “I’m so excited for doors off weather!!!!!” He laughed grabbing his camera and snapping a few pictures of you. “Car vlog?” You spoke and he shook his head “Not yet, We will start it after we get food, the trip isn’t that long.” You guys grabbed coffee and sandwiches before getting back into the car and sitting into the parking lot. He pulled out his camera putting it on the dash. “And we’re back in the car with Y/N!” You waved to the camera and smiled as you drank your coffee. “Hey ya’ll.” Bobby explained that you all were going to Disney and that you tried to cancel you got defensive “Hey now, it’s not my fault. I’m not used to going here without the crew, they all have other plans today and yet we are still going, it’s just..weird.” You both laugh. The rest of the car ride is filled with weird montages and jokes. You get to Disney and ride a few rides. You were having a hard time not grabbing his arm while you walked or leaning into him while you waiting in line. After a few hours Bobby begins acting a little strange and you think it’s because you’ve been distancing yourself. You try to shake it off. “Bobbo!” He runs to you “It’s almost sunset! We never miss the sunset at the castle!” He looks around and then nods with a smile “You’re right, let’s get over there. We can’t miss it.” He laughs and grabs your hand which sends a shiver down your body and Bobby notices because he chuckles softly to himself. He pulls you to the Castle and you began taking pictures of each other. A lovely women asked you if you wanted a picture of the two of you together and you agreed since no one else was around (or so you thought) to get one) when Bobby was teaching her to use the camera he told her what he was really planning and told her to just keep the camera on them she nodded. Bobby ran back over to you and began “taking pictures” with you. Then he turned to look at you. “Y/n. You are my best friend, and over the past few months I’ve found myself looking at you in a completely different light and I want you to know how much you mean to me.
