Sono 10 giorni che non ci sei più. 10 giorni in cui insieme a te è morta anche una parte di me. Io durante il giorno sorrido e fingo che la tua mancanza non mi stia logorando dentro un pezzo per volta. Devo fingere di essere contenta durante il giorno per evitare la dolita domanda: "Come stai?"

Perché spiegare che non riesco a sentire più niente, che dentro al mio petto, dove una volta c'era il cuore, ora non c'è più nulla non si può fare. Non posso sentire le solite frasi che dicono tutti in queste occasioni. Perché non c'è nulla che possono dire che mi possa far sentire meglio. Quando ti chiedono come stai, non vogliono sapete veramente come ti senti, perché nessuno vuole avere a che fare con il tuo dolore. Se dici che stai male iniziano a guardarti pietosamente, a dire frasi banali, a sperare che tu dica "scherzo! Va tutto bene" pur di levarli da quel momento di imbarazzo in cui si sentono in obbligo di dire qualcosa per tirarti su che sicuramente non funzionerà.

Con te non ho perso solamente la mia migliore amica, ho perso una sorella. Eri l'altra metà della mia anima e imparare a vivere con solo una parte di me non è facile. Manchi come l'aria.

ADHD study tips brought to you by yours truly!

i do want to clarify these are my personal study tips that i've done my best to pay attention to as to understand what works and what doesn't work for me. i feel these can help anyone with any neurological disorder ! or just in general. ♥︎

first things first, setting!

setting is important for 3 reasons, such as;

- commitment.

-comfortability.

- general mood.

you wanna make sure the place your occupying for your studies is something that'll keep you pushing through it so, you don't wanna have any distractions around you, things that will draw away your attention from the direct objective.

you wanna make sure your setting is not only lovely to occupy, but it's quiet and made to your liking, the only sound that should be around is music! for mood!

however, not just any sort of music, try curating yourself a playlist that features sounds more rather than vocals (thank me later). i find things like gaming ost, nature sounds, or even just regular ol' lofi to be the best for this as the tune playing is enough to make me feel good, but not distract me into some personal concert.

secondly, tools.

you're probably thinking, why in the hell would tools be important? well, i'll tell you.

personally, i find that when i have a cute notebook, highlighters, pens, etc to use. it makes me wanna study even more, all for the chance of being able to utilize those listed items! having something to look forward to with studying, may sound insane! but, it's probably programming your mind to see studying as more of a delightful activity rather than a boring one!

it's def all about reprogramming yourself and intentions when it comes to things you don't really wanna do, but you know you gots to do it.

the next thing id say happens to be during the studying, which is analyze.

since our brains tend to operate more faster than others, i find that analyzing and having questions for myself that i can answer along the way expands my knowledge on whatever it is I'm studying. besides there's nothing wrong with being curious in regards to your work. but when you're actually showcasing even a smidge of interest, i feel your brain automatically starts to engage with it more all for the consumption of information and it now because you get what you're trying to retain.

i mainly do this in regards to understanding a specific topics type of language, ex: political philosophy.

from that i may be interested in jotting down things that often come up in those sorts of conversations regarding said topic, that way, when i'm studying more, i understand what's being discussed.

small, but great for memory retention.

lastly, bold and bright colors.

complimented with some energizing snack or drink. highlighting important words, or phrases that you can later skim over and memorize will definitely help you instead of just over consuming information your brain is refusing to hold anyway. especially if you're more of expanded studier rather than 1 long study session like others!

but ahh, i hope this helps. it's not the lengthiest thing on earth but it is stuff i do to help myself study and stay engaged. we've gotta go out there and get that degree right?! 📝💟 signed, dolita xX.

If Carlos had gotten divine powers or the option to change anything for a day... He'd definetly use that to bring her sister Dolleye back for said day.

Not only to pass time with his family once more, but also to learn from her... learn the things she didn't have the time to teach him due to his short experience at the era that she still existed. Not only that, but... Even if he had divinity, he wouldn't trust it so much as to fight Xuhzu as is. And well, knowing Dolleye and her both met face to face more than once, it's rather clear who he'd have to discuss about it.

While being such a great loss for him, Carlos knew what he had to do once she's gone since he learned about the concepts of life and death. However, the itch of her knowledge about the very thing he's eager to stop is always there, and the fact he'll probably never find it is stressful for him (on her way at least. Maybe there's others, but he's just unaware...).

That way, when the day ends, not only will he get the opportunity to give her the goodbye she deserves, but also the tools to revenge her and all those who may have suffered her same fate.
