x :: will & his father. a word vomit.
will was fond of his father, bernard graham. they were not close and they were not loving and they were not family by anything other than blood. but there is something about a parent that cannot be replaced. will does not let himself be known but the closest he's come to being known is by his father, though by sheer proximity. seeing will when he is sick and weak and emotional and messy. bernard didn't CARE about these moments any more than he cared about the weather outside, but he still bore witness to them. even if it was PURELY out of coincidence, even if his father was only a part of the dynamic out of obligation, it was them against the world for a long time.
and will learned a lot from his father. he learned how to survive and how to be self sufficient. he learned practical skills and he learned how to keep himself busy which would prove more and more useful as his mind began to prove how warped it is. in fact, that's ALL his father did: keep himself busy. will associates his father with boatyards and water and we know he finds peace in those mental images, they aren't sullied by his father's presence. life was simpler then, there was someone else working to keep the house in order, and there was always something to do and somewhere to escape to. it's not necessarily a life he would choose, but it's certainly not something he could ever have again.
that being said, his father was incredibly neglectful. will was consistently making his own meals by the age of seven, he took on most of the household labor before puberty, and he was solely responsible for his own emotional regulation, education, and enrichment. bernard put food on the table (as much as he could) and he never raised a hand against will. they were roommates. they were awkward and there was never affection there, only familiarity. will kept his nose in books if he wasn't helping in the boatyard or doing housework and that was fine by bernard.
for the MOST part, will kept out of trouble, though exceptions did occur. when will rebelled, it wasn't against bernard. it was against the world that was beating them down to a pulp. and bernard could see as much, saw the anger and the chaos and the impulses in his kid. when will did get into trouble— for example, when he stole a watermelon in the heat of a louisiana summer, bernard didn't even care enough to yell. he asked, "where'd you get that?" and didn't wait for a response before telling him, "they catch you, they're gon' make you pay one way or another, and i'm not lettin' my stomach rumble for what you've done."
bernard knew his kid was weird and he also knew that nothing he did could undo that. maybe a mother's love would've done something. but bernard didn't speak of will's mother and will didn't care much to know her. bernard didn't even sound hurt or upset when he'd just say, "she ain't dead, but she's dead to us," with a cigarette hung out of his mouth. life was survival, and whoever had brought will into the world clearly didn't care to help his survival. so he paid her no mind.
will and bernard moved more times than they could count, even living out of a car on a few occasions. sometimes they moved to avoid debt collectors. sometimes to avoid bad reputations. sometimes for bernard to find a new job. sometimes to mooch off of extended family. bernard wasn't close with much of his family, though it was a massive family. will only saw extended family when they'd happened to move nearby, or when they were truly down on their luck and begging for a floor to sleep on. family gatherings were the closest will felt to acceptance growing up, though it was loaded. there were whispers behind his back, he was still pushed to the corners of rooms while the others talked in circles, and he was only ever included out of obligation.
that being said, he does still have a few family members that send him christmas presents. will suspects they've either heard he's "hit it big" with the fbi and want to put him on a pedestal and bask in the knowledge they're related to him, or, they need something from him. regardless, he never sends anything back.
tldr;; will and his father were soldiers in a foxhole throughout their experience of poverty. there was no familial bond between them, they did not love each other, but that doesn't mean will isn't sentimental about his father or, at least, the time they shared together. will was BADLY neglected as a child but he knows that his father did his best and feels no resentment to him. and yeah, some members of will's extended family keep sending him gifts and it drives him insane but he's too frugal to throw them away.

Pitch black surrounds me, then buzzing blue dots fading in and out, dancing about my vision. An image starts to surface before me as the orbs grow together. I know it's the darkness playing tricks, my eyes failing to adjust—but the crinkling of bubbles popping in the sink to my left make it feel more ominous.
I call this "Stepping out of the bathroom at 3am".

'home' for whichever character you're looking to talk about rn!! :D
Home. Describe their relationship with someone in their family, friend group, with a QPP, a romantic interest, etc.
Okay doing this for Wolf with Lucan.
Sorry this has become basically just a summary of them. And a long one. My apologies.
They have....a complicated relationship. They were in the actual army together, and were really close. Best friends, inseperable. Understand eachother more than anyone else. Wolf (then using his legal name) is hiding his queerness and Lucan doesnt even allow himself to consider that he might be. The country they live in is very hostile towards anyone 'different'. Then Wolf finds records of queer people that the military has and realises all of them are in danger. He tells Lucan, but he is just too...compliant. He won't let him. Wolf doesnt care about what Lucan says, this has radicalised him a little bit. He does a bit of arson and boom less queer people in danger one queer person a criminal. Lucan couldn't even dream of defending a queer criminal, so he doesn't even try to make his own opinions. He hates these "others", after all. He has to choose, queer ally or queer hate. He picks the staus quo.
Many years later, Wolf has changed his name, to Wolf. He is seen as the leader of the queer revolutionary group. He's not really, but the media likes painting it that way. He's not too unhappy about it. Obviously, no-one knows exactly who this Wolf is. Lucan does, when he is witness to multiple actions done by wolf and friends. He tries to kill Wolf. After all, he's going up in ranks in the army. It's his job. Wolf catches on quickly. They are enemies. Lucan knows Wolf is a criminal. Wolf knows Lucan is a bigot. They hate each other, though Wolf can't resist to tease him about their past together. He knows exactly how to piss his dear old friend off. Its fun. Lucan wants to personally shoot him in the face.
Then, by chance, Lucan gets in an encounter with some of the revolutionaries. They capture him. Wuh oh, now he can't leave because he knows where they're hiding! They can't exactly kill him coz they might need him....
Wolf grins. "Oh I have a spare room! You can live with me!". Lucan is about to scream and or cry.
The two of them hate each other. Lucan is a horrible person, right? But after multiple screaming matches, beating each other up and...possibly other stuff, they figure they kinda have to tolerate each other. The group keeps Lucan around because its entertaining and maybe useful. He slowly grows accustomed to them. Maybe not close, but they have a mutual understanding. Etc etc I'm just writing out the plot hope you enjoyed the roundabout explanation of their relationship. Lucan ends up being queer and also learning that maybe he's not Right I think you can see that's where it's going.

Find The Word
Find some assigned words in your wip and post a snippet, then pick new words for the next people!
@frostedlemonwriter Thanks for the tag. My words are integrity, help, smoke, beer, munch
I want to tag the half-dozen people who started following me yesterday, but I don't know which of you are into games like this!
Your words are: ability, music, menu, meat, thanks
These are all from The Hare and the Jackal. I write in multiple POVs, so the perspective character is in parenthesis.
Help:
(Creed)
We’re twenty feet from the door when a friendly, paternal voice behind us says, “Pardon.”
I can feel a scowl on my face that’s a little too forceful for the part I’m supposed to be playing. I decide to lean into it.
Both guardsmen are standing there, but it was the tall guy who spoke. He extends a seele hand towards me. “Hail, my name is Corporal Kautner, and this is Sergeant Winter. What’s yours?”
I glance down at the hand but make no move to return the gesture. “Eodwulf,” I say, using a gruff, accented voice to disguise my own. Winter—Sergeant Winter, apparently—doesn’t seem to recognize it.
“Well, Eodwulf,” Kautner says, letting his hand hang another moment before dropping it with a smile. “Sergeant Winter here couldn’t help but notice that you seem to be in fit shape to serve our Prophet. Have you ever considered joining the Wolfguard?”
Eodwulf leans back, his frown deepening. “I’m not feran.”
Corporal Kautner smiles knowingly. “That’s quite alright, you don’t need to be,” he says, telling a half-lie rather than outing me in such a public space: all Wolfguard are feran, but the related Inquisition includes human members as well. “In fact, the Wolfguard is an honorable career for people of all races. I think you will find we have a place of respect for people like you. It also pays quite well. Cadets begin at fifteen morgens a month, lodging included, and you should be making forty after the first two years. I’d be happy to introduce you to the Recruiting Master tomorrow morning if you’re interested?”
Surreal flashbacks of my original “recruitment” overlay his words. They didn’t promise the urchin pay or respect then, even if both came later. They didn’t even give me a choice. They just caught me and threw me in a cart, like a stray dog.
My will ignites in a way that feels all too familiar: it gets hairy, grows fangs, gets indignant. Through my teeth, I growl, “I’m not interested.”
Smoke:
(Sovereign Morgenstern)
A contented “mmm” accompanies her next smile. “I missed you, too. I’ve been missing all of you, all of this—” she gestures to the chamber, to the whole castle “—for a long while now.”
The impossible tenderness in her voice pierces like a needle, straight through my heart, promising forgiveness, restitution, harmony. Sweet. Too sweet, like tobacco smoke. “Then come home, child,” I find myself saying, but already the warmth in my chest is starting to bleed away, replaced with a gnawing chill. It’s an instinct I’ve grown to trust. A warning. This is going too well. I check my sekelett impulsively, just to make sure there’s not something truly nefarious going on, but I have no investures I don’t expect. Still, there has to be a catch.
Beer:
(Creed)
"Jadoon—he’s one of the foreigners—may have tried outing her to the Governor, but nothing ever came of it. In fact, I think Jadoon might have been nabbed by the Inquisition,” he says, furrowing his brow. “And then the Sailgolds just moved their whole warehouse into the Brambles, trying to get around her ‘fees’ for the more desirable docks. That’ll never last. She’ll make life hell for them until they fall in line again.”
“She doesn’t seem very well-liked,” I note.
Fritz chuckles like I made a joke. “I guess that depends who you ask. By some people, she’s very well liked.”
Isabella grimaces impatiently. “What’s that supposed to mean?” she asks, picking up her drink to take a sip with the same hand that’s still holding her fork.
Fritz chuckles again. “Well, they say: if you want to get on Lady Barbaron’s good side, get her on her backside.”
Isabella chokes on her beer and starts coughing loudly. I laugh as I reach over to clap her on the back, saying, “Well that certainly explains a thing or two.”
“You’ve met her already, I’m guessing?” Fritz asks, smirking. I nod, tossing a clean handkerchief in Isabella’s direction so she can wipe her face.
“Who’s they?” she croaks.
Integrity:
Got nothin fam 😬

All of the 141 has a domesticity kink, the worst offenders being Price and Ghost.
Price will at least try to keep a level head about him, eyes trained to the apron that lines your figure like a second skin.
You look good like this, happily prancing in the kitchen, the smell of dinner lingering in his nose. What are you making? It doesn’t really matter, because whatever’s in that pot isn’t what’s going to satisfy him tonight.
You offer him a taste and he’s more than happy to oblige, humming constantly at the flavor of your meal. Your gleeful face makes his chest physically hurt, how the hell did he manage to keep a pretty thing like you all to himself? So happy to be his little housewife, and Price is nothing if not grateful.
He makes certain to show his gratitude the moment the stove is turned off.
Tumblr media
Simon is much less refined, all jagged edges that makes it difficult to understand the need for a gentle touch.
You greet him in the morning in a baggy shirt—his shirt. It’s so oversized, the hem of it barely covering your panties as you work on chores around the house—makes his fingers itch to dig themselves into the soft flesh of your thighs and never let go.
His dick turns solid when you kiss him good morning. A peck of the lips really, but it’s enough to have him wanting more, the faintest whiff of familiarity hitting his nose when you pull away. It’s not long until he’s keeping you in his embrace, burying his face into your neck and groaning. You smell like him.
One moment you’re dusting shelves, the next you’re lifted into Simon’s arms. He doesn’t say much, but he doesn’t have to. His eyes give you all the answer you need.

thinking about how Humans Are Space Orcs stories always talk about how indestructible humans are, our endurance, our ability to withstand common poisons, etc. and thats all well and good, its really fun to read, but it gets repetitive after a while because we aren't all like that.
And that got me thinking about why this trope is so common in the first place, and the conclusion I came to is actually kind of obvious if you think about it. Not everyone is allowed to go into space. This is true now, with the number of physical restrictions placed on astronauts (including height limits), but I imagine it's just as strict in some imaginary future where humans are first coming into contact with alien species. Because in that case there will definitely be military personnel alongside any possible diplomatic parties.
And I imagine that all interactions aliens have ever had up until this point have been with trained personnel. Even basic military troops conform to this standard, to some degree. So aliens meet us and they're shocked and horrified to discover that we have no obvious weaknesses, we're all either crazy smart or crazy strong (still always a little crazy, academia and war will do that to you), and not only that but we like, literally all the same height so there's no way to tell any of us apart.
And Humans Are Death Worlders stories spread throughout the galaxy. Years or decades or centuries of interspecies suspicion and hostilities preventing any alien from setting foot/claw/limb/appendage/etc. on Earth until slowly more beings are allowed to come through. And not just diplomats who keep to government buildings, but tourists. Exchange students. Temporary visitors granted permission to go wherever they please, so they go out in search of 'real terran culture' and what do they find?
Humans with innate heart defects that prevent them from drinking caffeine. Humans with chronic pain and chronic fatigue who lack the boundless endurance humans are supposedly famous for. Humans too tall or too short or too fat to be allowed into space. Humans who are so scared of the world they need to take pills just to function. Humans with IBS who can't stand spicy foods, capsaicin really is poison to them. Lactose intolerance and celiac disease, my god all the autoimmune disorders out there, humans who struggle to function because their own bodies fight them. Humans who bruise easily and take too long to heal. Humans who sustained one too many concussions and now struggle to talk and read and write. Humans who've had strokes. Humans who were born unable to talk or hear or speak, and humans who through some accident lost that ability later.
Aliens visit Earth, and do you know what they find? Humanity, in all its wholeness.

Low level/continuous pain tips for writing
Want to avoid the action movie effect and make your character's injuries have realistic lasting impacts? Have a sick character you're using as hurt/comfort fodder? Everyone has tips for how to write Dramatic Intense Agony, but the smaller human details of lasting or low-level discomfort are rarely written in. Here are a few pain mannerisms I like to use as reference:
General
Continuously gritted teeth (may cause headaches or additional jaw pain over time)
Irritability, increased sensitivity to lights, sounds, etc
Repetitive movements (fidgeting, unable to sit still, slight rocking or other habitual movement to self-soothe)
Soft groaning or whimpering, when pain increases or when others aren't around
Heavier breathing, panting, may be deeper or shallower than normal
Moving less quickly, resistant to unnecessary movement
Itching in the case of healing wounds
Subconsciously hunching around the pain (eg. slumped shoulders or bad posture for gut pain)
Using a hand to steady themself when walking past walls, counters, etc (also applies to illness)
Narration-wise: may not notice the pain was there until it's gone because they got so used to it, or may not realize how bad it was until it gets better
May stop mentioning it outright to other people unless they specifically ask or the pain increases
Limb pain
Subtly leaning on surfaces whenever possible to take weight off foot/leg pain
Rubbing sore spots while thinking or resting
Wincing and switching to using other limb frequently (new/forgettable pain) or developed habit of using non dominant limb for tasks (constant/long term pain)
Propping leg up when sitting to reduce inflammation
Holding arm closer to body/moving it less
Moving differently to avoid bending joints (eg. bending at the waist instead of the knees to pick something up)
Nausea/fever/non-pain discomfort
Many of the same things as above (groaning, leaning, differences in movement)
May avoid sudden movements or turning head for nausea
Urge to press up against cold surfaces for fever
Glazed eyes, fixed stare, may take longer to process words or get their attention
Shivering, shaking, loss of fine motor control
If you have any more details that you personally use to bring characters to life in these situations, I'd love to hear them! I'm always looking for ways to make my guys suffer more write people with more realism :)

He loves the kind of woman that would actually just k!ll him (quick drabble)
Tumblr media
When you scolded his teammates for not picking up after themselves after dinner, he realized something about himself. “We’re sorry” they said in unison. Eren just stared you up and down with craving eyes.
“Dude, your girl is kind of scary.” They muttered as you walked off to the bathroom. He knows…intently following your retreating figure with his eyes.
When he first approached you at a frat party, offering to help carry your drinks, maybe with the intent to take you back to his place later that night..you left him speechless with your glowering glare, muttering explosives at him.
He was stunned as he watched you walk away.
“Poor girl would rather walk spill her drinks than speak with you.” Jean snickered. But Eren just grinned.
It took him a while to get you to warm up to him, but the chase was worth it. Turns out, you’re just a soft cinnamon bun once you let your walls down. For someone who claims she hates cuddles, you sure want cuddles. He loves you, and especially that mouth of yours.
He doesn’t mind when you calmly give him the look if he’s acting up, your sharp tongue, or your quick comebacks. In fact, he loves when you speak up for him if his order is wrong before he gets the chance to, or rather aggressively cheer for him at his games, that in particular makes him blush ever so lovingly. He almost gets shy. Meanwhile you’re swooning over your beast boyfriend smashing 220 pound guys down on the field. Unaware he’s doing the most to impress his girl.
He remembers being taken aback once. You had slapped a stranger who catcalled you. Eren was away buying you ice scream, strictly ordering you to stay within his line of vision since the carnival was “dangerous”. So when he noticed the situation, rushing with the intent of smashing the guys face in, he nearly dropped the ice cream as he witnessed your hand connecting with roaches face. Proudly observing you with gleam in his eyes.
Eren admits it, he’s attracted to intiminating women. He doesn’t know when it started, might’ve been with you. Now that he thinks about it, every girl he used to chase after before you was reserved and timid. Either way, all he knows is every time you let out that side of you, his pants feel tighter.
You come back from the bathroom, noticing the guys picked up after themselves. Finally, you thought.
“Hey Eren, can we get dessert?”
He stands up and grabs you by the loops of your belt, pulling your hips flush against his.
“Can’t you sit on my face first?” face to face spooning you, about to add a “please,” but you smirked and got down on your knees instead. He quickly looked around, “we’re in the living room, the guys might walk come back in.” he stresses.
“Let them.” and Eren swears that one day you’ll give him a heart attack. His girl is a freak, the thought makes him grin.
“Only if you sit on it later.” he was not below begging for it. He actually wouldn’t mind going out by you sitting on his face, it would make him die a happy man.

Every time you don’t write, Ray walks in on David and Patrick.
Okay but I feel like they had to have gotten used to that eventually. If you go by this timeline, Patrick lived with Ray for basically a year and a half of their relationship so you’ve got to figure that eventually David is just like “well he’s going to see what he’s going to see” and give up. I already wrote 5 times Stevie walked in on them. Do you want me to write Ray too? 😂

PLEAAAASEEEEE just a lil knight smooch on the hand, even just a light kiss to her lock of her hair
EVEN JUST LOVE FILLED GLANCES PLEAAAAASEEEEEEE
or maybe medivel konig romance i am so lovesick i wamt to hear fluff aND UR DENYING US WITH GHOST KNIGHT YEARNING
OK but only because I'm really beating this poor princess down in two other asks.
You spend most of your day with Ghost, he's your escort for every outing, your companion for every event. You'd think you'd get tired of seeing him all the time but you never do. You love seeing him, and you think he likes seeing you too.
"Good morning," you smile up at Ghost as he comes near, your favorite part of your mornings.
"Morning," he pulls out the chair next to you, grabbing a thick slice of bread as he sits. You don't even need to ask your maids to set a place for him anymore, don't need to coax Ghost into joining you for breakfast. He leans his elbows against the table and breaks the bread apart between his hands, as he watches you.
"How'd you sleep?" You ask, too casual, he nudges you with his knee. "Did you sleep well?" You try again. He's worse than your old etiquette tutor sometimes.
"Same as usual, were you alright after the-" he pauses, clicks his tongue, like he's annoyed he doesn't have a polite word for it. He doesn't want to say "tantrum" but you know he's thinking it.
"I- yes. Thank you." You stare down at your hands, embarrassed. You're too old to be acting like that. Ghost stares at you a long moment before setting his bread on his plate. He reaches across the table to grab meat and fruit, filling your plate before you can stop him.
"Eat, you'll feel better." He plucks another slice of bread free of its warm basket and butters it. You watch him slide the little silver knife against the crumb and he stops, pointing the utensil at your plate. "Eat," he's not asking you.
You pick up your fork and knife to do as he says. You really don't know why you bother listening to him, you're in charge, not him. It's just that, you sort of like doing what he says, he always looks so pleased when you do. He doesn't even look at you when you take your first bite, but his eyes still smile and you know it's for you. His smiles are only ever for you.
"Good girl," He mumbles, sliding his bread onto your plate, neatly jam and buttered just the way you like it.
"You're free to leave," you tell your maids, glancing at them over your shoulder. You know they're hovering, waiting to refill your tea or bring another plate of food. You also know they're waiting for more information on last night's... fit. Gossips the lot of them. "You've left the pot, if I need more tea Ghost will serve me. Go."
The maids exchange a glance and drop to curtsy before scurrying out. You go back to eating. Ghost waits a beat before removing his mask and serving himself breakfast. You don't bother with glances or peaking at his face, you look. It's your right to look, he's yours after all.
"You're staring," he grumbles. Astute observation, you think with a smile. You know what he means, you spear a strawberry with your fork and pop it in your mouth.
"I'm eating."
"Don't talk with your mouth full," he hums, ignoring you in favor of his own meal. Does he know that you only breach etiquette to hear him correct you? Does he see you behave as a perfect princess for others and think he did that? No, you think he must know you're teasing him.
You set your fork down and reach to wipe away the crumbs that stick to his lip. Ghost catches your hand before you can touch him, his tongue darting out to do what your finger would have. His eyes hold yours, each of you waiting for the other to pull back. You don’t want to.
His lips are so much warmer than in your dream, softer, more substantial as Ghost bows his head to press them against your knuckles. You tilt your head, watching him turn your hand to kiss your palm and the delicate skin of your wrist. He looks at you with every promise in his eyes, and you love him for it.
"Good morning, my lady," he murmurs, holding your hand to his cheek. Your heart clenches, fingers curling against the stubble on his jaw.
"Good morning, my knight." You whisper back. The breath he lets out is almost pained, far too heavy for breakfast. He kisses your palm again, and you almost understand why before he drops it. I love you, you both seem to think at each other, I love you.

Okay, my brain refuses to think about anything other than Murderbot, so I looked at every use of the word "friend[s]" in TMBD and... created some pie charts. Normal human activities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some Thoughts™ I had while putting this together (under the cut):
In All Systems Red, Murderbot notes that the PresAux crew are all close friends (twice! and goes on to explain their internal relationships which I think is very cute). This is pretty much the only use of 'friends' in ASR, except for when Murderbot says that SecUnits can't be friends with each other.
It seems that this may be one of the first times Murderbot has ever really been around a group of friends before? Murderbot notes that this is not the norm for its contracts and admits that the fact that they are all friends and the way they interact with each other make it actually enjoy that contract (before!!!! the hostile attack, so it already enjoys this contract before they start seeing it as a person etc ghghhhh). [Inference: Friendship seems enjoyable.]
The first character that calls Murderbot its friend is ART in Artificial Condition. Murderbot immediately refutes this (and then goes on to call ART its friend to its clients for the rest of the book). [Inference: Maybe ART is Murderbot's friend. And maybe that is... agreeable]
Rogue Protocol has more than twice as many instances of the word 'friend' as any of the other novellas. Why? Miki. Friendship and its implications for non-humans are a central theme because Miki is friends with everyone. Murderbot initially scoffs at the notion that Miki and Miki's humans are friends. At the end of the book, after witnessing how desperately Don Abene tried to stop Miki from trying to save them, and her grief after its death, Murderbot has to admit that she had in fact been Miki's friend. [Inference: Humans can be friends with bots and can sincerely care about them]
In Exit Strategy, Murderbot tentatively uses the word "friends" for its humans for the first time (several times actually). It questions whether it can actually call them its friends or not and later realizes that it had been afraid what admitting that the humans are its friends would do to it. At the end of the book, Mensah tells Murderbot the PresAux crew are its friends, which is the first time a human has directly said that to it (at least on-page). [Inference: Humans can and want to be Murderbot's friends]
In Network Effect, Murderbot seems to be more habituated to the word 'friend', confidently calling ART and Ratthi its friends, like it is no longer just trying the concept on unsure if it fits. There are many instances in which other characters refer to MB as ART's friend or the other way around and Murderbot's humans refer to Murderbot as their friend several times. Generally, there seems to be less hesitancy, because yes, all of them are Murderbot's friends, why wouldn't they be. [Inference: SecUnits can have friends. This SecUnit has friends. They care about it a lot.]
Conclusion: The Murderbot Diaries tell the story of a construct that does not seem to consider the possibility of friendship for itself and is fine with that - until it accidentally starts caring a little too much and suddenly more and more people annex it as a friend (ew) to the point where it can no longer deny that this is happening and has to begrudgingly admit that yes, it has friends now and maybe that is actually not a bad thing.

ughhhhh so probably the tgcf scene i think the most about is in the final battle when hua cheng is holding xie lian and backwards gripping eming with his other hand i . god. this is referenced off of The Fallen Angel by Alexandre Cabanel (i’m pretty sure everyone has seen it by this point) which is surprisingly pretty topical for tgcf.

leaving bite marks on kiyoomi's biceps. he wears compression sleeves up to the edge of his uniform shirt, so it should be fine, right?
not that you care, not that you're even thinking about it when he's got your ankles up by your ears and you're trying to stifle your moans in his skin. in the moment the sting barely registers, all of his focus is on the slick clench of you around him, the way your nails scrabble down his broad back as his thrusts grow erratic.
it isn't until atsumu spots the ring of teeth marks at the volleyball court later that he remembers.
"omi-omi, what's that?" comes out in a shriek that pierces his eardrums. kiyoomi doesn't even look at him, but the expression on his face is clearly ticked off.
"it's nothing."
"hold up, are those bite marks?" atsumu gets close enough to tug at the sleeves, but kiyoomi jerks his arm away. "what, were you fightin' a hellcat or somethin'?"
kiyoomi fixes him with a flat stare. "are you sure you go on dates?"
