I love this specific Enterprise promo photo bc everyone looks so serious and then there's just
Phlox. Facing the wrong way.
Smiling like a dumbass

I love Dr. Phlox from Star Trek Enterprise. It honestly feels like the first time, other than maybe Odo from DS9, they tried to make an alien species truly different than humans. This is vastly oversimplified but honestly it feels like Klingons are just violent, honorable humans. Vulcans are just smart, logical, kind of assholey humans, Ferengi are just rich, capitalist humans. Denobulans just have all sorts of weirdnesses written into the species and I love that about them, AND the character Dr. Phlox. I mean, come on. Communal living in almost a hive sense, only sleeping every so often, etc etc etc. Like their biology itself is fascinating to me, and they make a point to highlight it in the series, which doesn't happen very often.

[Image description: pictures of, in order, Dr Julian Bashir, Dr Beverly Crusher, Dr Leonard McCoy, The Doctor from Voyager, Dr Katherine Pulaski and Dr Phlox. All of the images have been altered so the characters depicted are wearing white t-shirts that say "I (heart) abortion, sex change & crime". All of them look very pleased with their wardrobe. End image description.]
Sorry for the shitty ai t-shirts, I needed to clarify asap <3
If anyone with actual skill wants to remake these, feel free! Tag me when you're done so I can reblog it

Phlox: Why won't you ever have a threesome?
Malcolm: If I wanted to disappoint 2 people at once I'd go to dinner with my parents.

The next person that tries to tell me that "These are the Voyages" was the perfect ending for Star Trek Enterprise will end up on the next episode of "Unsolved cruel murder cases" and I can guarantee, they will not be the killer nor the wittnesses.
