*Lisboa was being destroyed and massacred by Talon that came out of nowhere. The building that you and Hanzo were at, was starting to falling apart*
You- *gasp feeling the bulding move* Hanzo...! We gonna fall!
Hanzo- Hold on! *he yelled looking around and hiding from the shots* Jump! Jump to the other building behind us!
You- Hanzo! Come with me! Now!
Hanzo- JUST GO! I need to hold them!
You- You won't fucking hold that alone!
Reinhardt- HANZO! Y/N! GET OUT OF THERE! NOW! *He screamed down there while holding the shield against bombs* THE BUILDING IS FALLING!
You- HANZO! *You yelled again*
Hanzo- *Groans and go to you* Go! GO!
*When both come to the edge the building lost total balance and have a huge piece lost from the base making a huge impact, you fell and hold on the edge*
Hanzo- Y/n! Hold! *Stands his hand* Come on!
You- I can't! Hanzo! My rifle!
Hanzo- Fuck the rifle! Give me your hand! Please!
*You tried many times and finally get it, but the building started to fell back in direction to the building behind. With no time to jump, Hanzo pull you to him holding you tightly and both fell with the building making Ana terrified*
Ana- No! *She exclaimed behind Reinhardt shield* They fell! Reinhardt! We need to rescue them! Cover me!
Reinhardt- Wai...! *Ana starts to run* Ana! Wait! The shield won't take it for too long!
Ana- Hold position!
Jack- *runs to the falling building too* Ana! Watch out for Reinhardt! *Starts to digging by taking off the destructions*
Ana- Where is everyone?!
Jack- Fighting...! Everyone!
Phara- Mother! *Called from the sky* What happened?!
Ana- Hanzo and y/n crashed with the building! Call reinforcements! *Phara immediately flew away* Jack! We can't do this alone!
Jack- No one stay behind! No until I die!
Reinhardt- The shield is failing! Aargh!
Ana- *look at both sides not knowing what to do* Jack! Get out of there!
Jack- Wait! I GOT IT! *Immediately Ana go to help* I can see y/n!
Reinhardt- *The shield failed* ANA! *starts to fight*
Ana- Dammit! *Grab her dart with extra healing and grab a small bottle with blue liquid mixing up * Hold! I'm trying! *shake it and put on her bracelet launching against Reinhardt right on the neck*
Reinhardt- *screams and fall down but immediately starts to power up*
Ana- You're powered up! GET IN THERE!
Reinhardt- I'M FEELING INVINCIBLE!! *Explodes in glory and furious* AAAARGH HAHAHAHAA! FEEL THE CRUSADERS!!
Jack- *look at her suprised* What was that?
Ana- A little experiment. Now, help me!
*Jack and Ana pull you out that was unconscious*
Ana- Y/n! Look at me! You can hear me? Open you eyes, little girl...!
You- *slowly opens and cofs* Han...? Argh! My leg! Ana!
Ana- I need you to calm down, honey...*Grab another dart*
You- *Try to find Hanzo* Where is him?!
Ana- Jack is trying to find him... I need to take you out of here.
You- No no...! Hanzo saved me! I need...! *feels the pain* I need to see him...!
Ana- You'll but not now!
Angela- Ana! *Flew to both of you landing down going straight to you* Oh no, doesn't look good...
Ana- I need you to take care of her, Doctor. Take her out of here!
Angela- Yes! Baptiste is coming to help and also Tracer with Winston.
Ana- Perfect, thank you...! *A explosion close there* Reinhardt!
Reinhardt- I'M STILL IN BATTLE! HAHAHAAAA! *Passing trought crushing against the Talon agents*
Ana- Reinhardt, honey...! Don't overpower yourself! *worried* Get back in here!
Angela- Ana, I'm taking her...anything, call me.
*Ana nodded and Mercy flew away carrying you, it was easy, thanks to the valkyrie wings*
*A few minutes after, you finally opened your eyes feeling your whole body hurts, specially you left arma*
You- Mercy...?
Angela- Hi, I'm here, darling...*She appers holding some bandages* I just bandage your broken arm...we're safe in here.
You- I broke my arm...great.
Angela- You need to keep it unmoved, ok? *smiles and tap you head* Is gonna be ok, I'm Dra. Ziegler, I can make some little miracles *laughs*
You- Wait, what is happening out there? Where is everybody?
Angela- It seems that Talon came from the other side of the country. Captain Morrison said that actually they may have come from behind and strike from the front.
You- Dosen't make sense...wait...where is him?
Angela- Who? Hanzo? *she smiled* He's ok with Baptiste.
You- Is he bad as I'm?! He protect me! *tries to sit down* Ow ow ow!
Angela- Careful! *She holds you worried* Do not move...you very injure. Hanzo is pretty hurt, I'm not gonna lie to you, y/n, but he'll live.
You- Is he in dangerous...?
Angela- Well...*sighs* He broke a leg...feet...hurt his face...
You- Angela...! I need to see him!
Angela- He is in a treatment with Baptiste, sweety, he will be fine. Jean is amazing with those kind of situation, trust him.
You- Hanzo is gonna be so upset about his leg...*close your eyes and sighs*
Angela- He is a strong man, y/n, he'll be 100% well very soon.
*At the other side of the city in another medical center*
Baptiste - Hold on, Hanzo...! Let me bandage your eye, friend! Sit down! Your leg is broken! *Desperately trying to pull him back to the treatment room*
Hanzo- I need to see her...! My wounds will heal!
Baptiste- Well, if you die it won't heal...! Now, come back! She's alright! Better than you, I suppose...
Hanzo- My leg...! *He list balance and before fell, Baptiste hold him* Arg!
Baptiste- I know that love speaks louder...but listen to me, my friend, she's fine.
Hanzo- I don't know if I protect her enough...Does she broke something?
Baptiste- She. Is. Fine. Now come back...! You're heavy! Damn muscles...! *drag him back to the bed* There we go...! That was hard...you're such a stubborn, jezz...
Hanzo- *In agony* Da...mmit! Argh...!
Baptiste- Hurts, right? *laugh and suddenly look at him serious* So stay in bed. Also, you break a rib, you almost break a wrist, several cuts and...it could be worse. You and y/n fell in some position that didn't ki both of you. Fascinating. Oh, I forgot to tell...your eye. *walk to him doing the bandage* you hit your face and hurt very close to your left eye... a cut right on the eyelid.
Hanzo- I can feel it...*groans* the war, what is happening?
Baptiste- We're fighting well. Jack is doing a great job with the others. I believe that'll end soon.
*Hanzo sighs taking his hand to his face, he notice that he felt a little guilty in not protecting you very well*
Baptiste- You really like her, don't you? *smirk*
Hanzo- *sighs and gave him a little chuckle* Yes...I do. I do.
Baptiste- Never felt this way before? *checking his eye bandage*
Hanzo- No...Never thought about it, actually.
Baptiste- *chuckle* When you find your soulmate, you can never escape. *a explosion happens outside shaking the place* Oh damn...that was close.
Hanzo- *sighs* Soulmate? There's a soulmate for a man like me?
Baptiste- Hanzo, I killed a lot of civilians...a hurted people. I was a Talon agent. If I believe there's someone out there that I deserve? Yes...I do. Villains can turn good if they open their eyes *smiles* Open up, Hanzo.
Hanzo- I have my two eyes opened for a long time...
Baptiste- So open a third one.
Hanzo- Could that even being possible?
Baptiste- You're already doing it that *laughs* Genji always talked about how grumpy and serious you are, and now, we're meeting another side of you, man. Love is the most miracle healing that you could ever feel.
*Hanzo smiled and agreed with his head*
Hanzo- I changed a lot.
*Outside, in the middle of war~*
Reinhardt- Do it again! Do it again! Do it AGAIN!
Ana- I won't boost you again, Reinhardt!
Reinhardt- My lady...! You saw me smashing those Talon agents with my own hands! If we keep up like that, this is gonna end in a blink of a eye! HAHA!
Ana- Smash them with your own hands?! A blink of a eye?! And I'm healing you deep bullet wounds and cuts! You gonna die in a blink of a eye! *slap the back of his head and she back to the bandages* You silly big man...this is war, not a game.
Reinhardt- Aw come on, Ana *chuckles* You looove see me fighting~
Ana- Ooh shut up! *laughs*
Jack- Well, it seems that they retreated...*out of breath and full of blood in his clothes, Rein and Ana looked at him scared* What?
Reinhardt- Did you murder someone with a stone or what?
Ana- You're covered in blood, Jack...
Jack- Oh, this? *sighs* Helix rockets... But the guy were to close.
Reinhardt- Mein Gott...*cleans throat* Well! I'm good to go! *get up and Ana immediately and calmly pull him back*
Ana- No, you're not. By the way, any news from Hanzo and Y/n? I'm worried...
Jack- Well, all I know until now is that, Hanzo is kind worse than her, broke a leg. None of them are in dangerous.
Ana- Well, is a relief ... what a bad lucky for them *sighs*
Reinhardt- At least they're in this together *laughs* They'll have each other support.
Jack- Yeah, you're right. I'll bring some news and warn me if someone weird or deadly happen.

In 2130, the U.S.S. Palomino is shocked to find the missing space ship U.S.S. Cygnus impossibly parked outside a black hole. Once aboard, it appears the only surviving member of the Cygnus crew is Dr Hans Reinhardt. One of the Palomino crew learns that her father who had been aboard the Palomino had lead a mutiny when Reinhardt refused to return to Earth. Their revolt failed and Reinhardt had them turned into cyborgs. (The Black Hole. Trivia: Disney's first PG film. One of their most expensive at the time and theatrical failure)

Hans Walter Conrad Veidt (22 January 1893 – 3 April 1943) was a German actor best remembered for his roles in the films Different from the Others (1919), The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), and The Man Who Laughs (1928). After a successful career in German silent films, where he was one of the best-paid stars of UFA, he and his new Jewish wife Ilona Prager were forced to leave Germany in 1933 after the Nazis came to power. The couple settled in Britain, where he took British citizenship in 1939. He appeared in many British films, including The Thief of Bagdad (1940), before emigrating to the United States around 1941, which led to his being cast as Major Strasser in Casablanca (1942).
Hans Walter Conrad Veidt was born in his parents' home at Tieckstraße 39 in Berlin to Amalie Marie (née Gohtz) and Philipp Heinrich Veidt, a former military man turned civil servant. Veidt would later recall, “Like many fathers, he was affectionately autocratic in his home life, strict, idealistic. He was almost fanatically conservative.” By contrast, Amalie was sensitive and nurturing. Veidt was nicknamed 'Connie' by his family and friends. His family was Lutheran, and Veidt was confirmed in a ceremony at the Protestant Evangelical Church in Alt-Schöneberg, Berlin on 5 March 1908. Veidt's only sibling, an older brother named Karl, died in 1900 of scarlet fever at the age of 9. The family spent their summers in Potsdam.
Two years after Karl's death, Veidt's father fell ill and required heart surgery. Knowing that the family could not afford to pay the lofty fee that accompanied the surgery, the doctor charged only what the family could comfortably pay. Impressed by the surgeon's skill and kindness, Veidt vowed to "model my life on the man that saved my father's life" and he wished to become a surgeon. His hopes for a medical career were thwarted, though, when in 1912 he graduated without a diploma and ranked 13th out of 13 pupils and became discouraged over the amount of study necessary for him to qualify for medical school.
A new career path for Veidt opened up in 1911 during a school Christmas play in which he delivered a long prologue before the curtain rose. The play was badly received, and the audience was heard to mutter, "Too bad the others didn't do as well as Veidt." Veidt began to study all of the actors he could and wanted to pursue a career in acting, much to the disappointment of his father, who called actors 'gypsys' and 'outcasts'.
With the money he raised from odd jobs and the allowance his mother gave him, Veidt began attending Berlin's many theaters. He loitered outside of the Deutsches Theater after every performance, waiting for the actors and hoping to be mistaken for one. In the late summer of 1912 he met a theater porter who introduced him to actor Albert Blumenreich, who agreed to give Veidt acting lessons for six marks. He took ten lessons from him before auditioning for Max Reinhardt, reciting Goethe's Faust. During Veidt's audition, Reinhardt looked out of the window the entire time. He offered Veidt a contract as an extra for one season's work, from September 1913 to August 1914 with a pay of 50 marks a month. During this time, he played bit parts as spear carriers and soldiers. His mother attended almost every performance. His contract with the Deutsches Theater was renewed for a second season, but by this time World War I had begun, and on 28 December 1914, Veidt enlisted in the army.
In 1915, he was sent to the Eastern Front as a non-commissioned officer and took part in the Battle of Warsaw. He contracted jaundice and pneumonia, and had to be evacuated to a hospital on the Baltic Sea. While recuperating, he received a letter from his girlfriend Lucie Mannheim, telling him that she had found work at the Front Theatre in Libau. Intrigued, Veidt applied for the theatre as well. As his condition had not improved, the army allowed him to join the theatre so that he could entertain the troops. While performing at the theatre, his relationship with Mannheim ended. In late 1916, he was re-examined by the Army and deemed unfit for service; he was given a full discharge on 10 January 1917. Veidt returned to Berlin where he was readmitted to the Deutsches Theater. There, he played a small part as a priest that got him his first rave review, the reviewer hoping that "God would keep Veidt from the films." or "God save him from the cinema!"
From 1917 until his death, Veidt appeared in more than 100 films. One of his earliest performances was as the murderous somnambulist Cesare in director Robert Wiene's The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), a classic of German Expressionist cinema, with Werner Krauss and Lil Dagover. His starring role in The Man Who Laughs (1928), as a disfigured circus performer whose face is cut into a permanent grin, provided the (visual) inspiration for the Batman villain the Joker. Veidt starred in other silent horror films such as The Hands of Orlac (1924), also directed by Robert Wiene, The Student of Prague (1926) and Waxworks (1924), in which he played Ivan the Terrible. Veidt also appeared in Magnus Hirschfeld's film Anders als die Andern (Different from the Others, 1919), one of the earliest films to sympathetically portray homosexuality, although the characters in it do not end up happily. He had a leading role in Germany's first talking picture, Das Land ohne Frauen (Land Without Women, 1929).
He moved to Hollywood in the late 1920s and made a few films there, but the advent of talking pictures and his difficulty with speaking English led him to return to Germany. During this period, he lent his expertise to tutoring aspiring performers, one of whom was the later American character actress Lisa Golm.
Veidt fervently opposed the Nazi regime and later donated a major portion of his personal fortune to Britain to assist in the war effort. Soon after the Nazi Party took power in Germany, by March 1933, Joseph Goebbels was purging the film industry of anti-Nazi sympathizers and Jews, and so in April 1933, a week after Veidt's marriage to Ilona Prager, a Jewish woman, the couple emigrated to Britain before any action could be taken against either of them.
Goebbels had imposed a "racial questionnaire" in which everyone employed in the German film industry had to declare their "race" to continue to work. When Veidt was filling in the questionnaire, he answered the question about what his Rasse (race) was by writing that he was a Jude (Jew). Veidt was not Jewish, but his wife was Jewish, and Veidt would not renounce the woman he loved. Additionally, Veidt, who was opposed to antisemitism, wanted to show solidarity with the German Jewish community, who were in the process of being stripped of their rights as German citizens in the spring of 1933. As one of Germany's most prominent actors, Veidt had been informed that if he were prepared to divorce his wife and declare his support for the new regime, he could continue to act in Germany. Several other leading actors who had been opposed to the Nazis before 1933 switched allegiances. In answering the questionnaire by stating he was a Jew, Veidt rendered himself unemployable in Germany, but stated this sacrifice was worth it as there was nothing in the world that would compel him to break with his wife. Upon hearing about what Veidt had done, Goebbels remarked that he would never act in Germany again.
After arriving in Britain, Veidt perfected his English and starred in the title roles of the original anti-Nazi versions of The Wandering Jew (1933) and Jew Süss (1934), the latter film was directed by the exiled German-born director Lothar Mendes and produced by Michael Balcon for Gaumont-British. He naturalised as a British subject on 25 February 1939. By this point multi-lingual, Veidt made films both in French with expatriate French directors and in English, including three of his best-known roles for British director Michael Powell in The Spy in Black (1939), Contraband (1940) and The Thief of Bagdad (1940).
By 1941, he and Ilona had settled in Hollywood to assist in the British effort in making American films that might persuade the then-neutral and still isolationist US to join the war against the Nazis, who at that time controlled all of continental Europe and were bombing the United Kingdom. Before leaving the United Kingdom, Veidt gave his life savings to the British government to help finance the war effort. Realizing that Hollywood would most likely typecast him in Nazi roles, he had his contract mandate that they must always be villains.
He starred in a few films, such as George Cukor's A Woman's Face (1941) where he received billing under Joan Crawford's and Nazi Agent (1942), in which he had a dual role as both an aristocratic German Nazi spy and the man's twin brother, an anti-Nazi American. His best-known Hollywood role was as the sinister Major Heinrich Strasser in Casablanca (1942), a film which began pre-production before the United States entered World War II. Commenting about this well-received role, Veidt noted that it was an ironical twist of that that he was praised "for portraying the kind of character who had forced him to leave his homeland".
Veidt enjoyed sports, gardening, swimming, golfing, classical music, and reading fiction and nonfiction (including occultism; Veidt once considered himself a powerful medium). He was afraid of heights and flying, and disliked interviews and wearing ties.
In a September 1941 interview with Silver Screen, Veidt said,
I see a man who was once for years studying occult things. The science of occult things. I had the feeling there must be – something else. There are things in our world we cannot trace. I wanted to trace them. The power we have to think, to move, to speak, to feel – is it electricity, I wanted to know? Is it magnetism? Is it the heart? Is it the blood? When the body dies, where is all that? Where is the power that made the body live? No one can tell me it is not somewhere. If you believe in waves, which you must believe after you have the radio, why couldn't human beings contact the wave lengths of someone who is dead? ... this is the kind of thing with which I was, for many years, preoccupied. This is what I tried to find, the answer. I did not find it. But in looking for it there was etched, perhaps, on my face, some hint of the strange cabals I kept with unseen and unknown powers. I did not find it, I say. But I found something else. Something better. I found –faith. I found the ability, very peaceful, to accept that which I could neither see, nor hear nor touch. I am a religious man. My belief is that if we could help to make all people a little more religious, we would do a great lot. If we would pray more ... we forget to pray except when we are in a mess. That is too bad. I believe in prayer. Because when we pray, we always pray for something good.
He went on:
I must tell you something that will disappoint you ... far from being one engaged in strangle rituals of thought or action, what I like best to do is sit in this small garden, on this terrace, and – just sit. Sometimes, I confess, I think a lot; about my past. About my parents who are dead. I like to dream, to go away ... At other times, I sit and read. I read, often, a whole day through. I play golf. I used to be a golf fiend. Now I am not a fiend even on the links. Now I play because it is relaxation. I like the beach very much, the sea. I go to the films often, to the neighborhood theater, my wife and I. Sometimes we go to the Palladium, where there is dancing. It is an amazing sight to me to see young people, how they are like they were thirty years ago, how they hold hands, how they enjoy their lives. To me, the most beautiful thing in California is the Hollywood Bowl, the Concerts Under the Stars. For me, it is a terrific experience. I have never seen an audience in my life like that. 30,000 people, simple people, most of them, listening to music under the stars. I have never seen 30,000 people, simple people, so quiet. I like to think of them as a symbol that one day there may be that oneness for all mankind....
On 18 June 1918, Veidt married Gussy Holl, a cabaret entertainer. They had first met at a party in March 1918, and Conrad described her to friends as "very lovely, tall, dignified and somewhat aloof". They separated in 1919 but attempted to reconcile multiple times. Holl and Veidt divorced in 1922.
Veidt said of Holl, "She was as perfect as any wife could be. But I had not learnt how to be a proper husband." and, "I was elated by my success in my work, but shattered over my mother's death, and miserable about the way my marriage seemed to be foundering. And one day when my wife was away, I walked out of the house, and out of her life, trying to escape from something I could put no name to."
After his separation and eventual divorce from Holl, Veidt allegedly dated his co-star Anita Berber.
Veidt's second wife Felizitas Radke was from an aristocratic Austrian family. They met at a party in December 1922 or at a Charleston dance competition in 1923. Radke divorced her husband for him, and they married in April 1923. Their daughter, Vera Viola Maria, nicknamed "Kiki", was born on 10 August 1925. He was not present at her birth due to being in Italy working on The Fiddler of Florence, but upon hearing of her birth, he took the first train to Berlin and flailed and wept as he first met mother and child at the hospital; he was so hysterical from joy they had to sedate him and keep him in the hospital overnight.
Emil Jannings was Viola's godfather and Elisabeth Bergner was her godmother. She was named after one of Bergner's signature characters, Shakespeare's Viola. The birth of his daughter helped Veidt move on from the death of his dearly loved mother, who had died of a heart condition in January 1922.
From September 1926 to 1929 Veidt lived with his wife and daughter in a Spanish-style house in Beverly Hills.
Veidt enjoyed relaxing and playing with his daughter in their home, and enjoyed the company of the immigrant community, including F. W. Murnau, Carl Laemmle, and Greta Garbo, as well as the American Gary Cooper. The family returned to Germany in 1929, and moved several times afterwards, including a temporary relocation to Vienna, Austria, while Veidt participated in a theatrical tour of the continent.
Radke and Veidt divorced in 1932, with Radke citing that the frequent relocations and the separations necessitated by Veidt's acting schedule frayed their marriage. Radke at first granted custody of their daughter to Veidt, but after further consideration he decided that their daughter needed the full-time parent that his work would not allow him to be. Conrad received generous visitation rights, and Viola called her summer vacations with her father "The Happy Times". She stayed with him three or four months of the year until the outbreak of World War II.
He last married Ilona "Lilli" Barta Prager (or Preger), a Hungarian Jew, in Berlin on 30 March 1933; they remained together until his death. The two had met at a club in Berlin. Veidt said of Lilli in an October 1934 interview with The Sunday Dispatch,
Lilli was the woman I had been seeking all my life. For her I was the man. In Lilli I found the miracle of a woman who had all to give that I sought, the perfect crystallisation in one lovely human being, of all my years of searching. Lilli had the mother complex too. But in the reverse ratio to mine. In her, the mother instinct was so powerful that she poured it out, indiscriminately almost, on everyone she knew. She mothers her own mother. Meeting Lilli was like coming home to an enchanted place one had always dreamed of, but never thought to reach. For her it was the same. Our marriage is not only flawless, it is a complete and logical union, as inevitable as daybreak after night, as harmonious and right as the words that exactly fit the music. My search is finished. The picture in my mind of my mother is of a woman great and holy. But it is a picture clear and. distinct, a deep and humble memory of a woman no one could replace; but now it is not blurred by the complex which before had harassed my mind.
Veidt and Lilli arrived from London at Los Angeles on 13 June 1940 and resided in Beverly Hills, where they lived at 617 North Camden Drive.
Even after leaving England, Veidt was concerned over the plight of children cooped up in London air raid shelters, and he decided to try to cheer up their holiday. Through his attorneys in London, Veidt donated enough money to purchase 2,000 one-pound tins of candy, 2,000 large packets of chocolate, and 1,000 wrapped envelopes containing presents of British currency. The gifts went to children of needy families in various air raid shelters in the London area during Christmas 1940. The air raid shelter marshal wrote back to Veidt thanking him for the gifts. Noting Veidt's unusual kindness, he stated in his letter to him, "It is significant to note that, as far as is known to me, you are the only member of the Theatrical Profession who had the thought to send Christmas presents to the London children."
Veidt smuggled his parents-in-law from Austria to neutral Switzerland, and in 1935 he managed to get the Nazi government to let his ex-wife Radke and their daughter move to Switzerland. He also offered to help Felizita's mother, Frau Radke, of whom he was fond, leave Germany. However, she declined. A proud, strong-willed woman who was attached to her home country, she declared that "no damned little Austrian Nazi corporal" was going to make her leave her home. She reportedly survived the war, but none of the Veidts ever saw her again.
Veidt was bisexual and a feminist. In a 1941 interview he said,
There are two different kinds of men. There are the men men, what do you call them, the man's man, who likes men around, who prefers to talk with men, who says the female can never be impersonal, who takes the female lightly, as playthings. I do not see a man like that in my mirror. Perhaps, it is because I think the female and the male attract better than two men, that I prefer to talk with females. I do. I find it quite as stimulating and distinctly more comfortable. I have a theory about this – it all goes back to the mother complex. In every woman, the man who looks may find – his mother. The primary source of all his comfort. I think also that females have become too important just to play with. When men say the female cannot discuss impersonally, that is no longer so. When it is said that females cannot be geniuses, that is no longer so, either. The female is different from the male. Because she was born to be a mother. There is no doubt about that. But that does not mean that, in some cases, she is not also born a genius. Not all males are geniuses either. And among females today there are some very fine actresses, very fine; fine doctors, lawyers, even scientists and industrialists. I see no fault in any female when she wears slacks, smokes (unless it is on the street, one thing, the only thing, which I don't like), when she drives a car ... when men say things like "I bet it is a woman driving" if something is wrong with the car ahead – no, no. These are old, worn out prejudices, they do not belong in today.
In the 1930s, Veidt discovered that he had the same heart condition that his mother had died from. The condition was further aggravated by chain smoking, and Veidt took nitroglycerin tablets.
Veidt died of a massive heart attack on 3 April 1943 while playing golf at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles with singer Arthur Fields and his personal physician, Dr. Bergman, who pronounced him dead at the scene. He had suddenly gasped and fallen over after getting to the eighth hole. He was 50 years old. His ex-wife Felizitas and his daughter Viola found out about his death via a radio broadcast in Switzerland.
In 1998, his ashes, along with his wife Lilli's, were placed in a niche of the columbarium at the Golders Green Crematorium in north London.

Cherry Blossoms (Hanzo Shimada + OC) Chapter 12
Chapter 12 of Cherry Blossoms (Master List)
Pairing: Alpha Hanzo + Omega OC
Word Count: 2489 words
The long awaited day had finally arrived. And Jack Morrison was surprisingly into Halloween. Not that he would ever openly admit to enjoying the holiday.
“Wow!” Danny gasped when she saw the alpha’s costume splayed out alongside the copious amounts of fake blood and costume makeup he had bought for the occasion. What looked like it had once been a t-shirt was now just a tattered cloth with sleeves and a hole to put his head through, and some cargo pants had been cut within an inch of their life.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jack scoffed, waving his hand dismissively. “Just do my makeup, kid,” he commanded, and Danny sighed, motioning for him to sit in front of her. He did so, and Danny got to work. She first made his whole face pale with a powdery makeup he had gotten for the occasion, and then made the hollows around his eyes much darker. She added some purple on his cheekbones to make his face look more gaunt, and then stopped to study his face for a minute.
“Do you mind if I put the fake blood and gashes over your scars? They’d make good guides,” she asked, and Jack nodded, the corner of his lip quirking up.
“Go ahead,” Danny smiled at him and went to do just that. “You’re gonna be a badass zombie,” she muttered a couple minutes later, dripping some fake blood down his neck. He chuckled.
“I’m badass no matter what I am,” he countered, and Danny hummed in agreement, withholding her giggle so she didn’t shake and mess up his makeup.
“Alright, you still want to be a tree?” Danny asked, and Bastion nodded. “Lovely!” Danny beamed, handing Bastion a paint bucket. “Can you open this? Be careful and try not to spill it!” she asked, and Bastion nodded again, grabbing the paint bucket and gently prying it open. “Thanks love!” she chirped, and Bastion responded with a series of happy beeps. Bastion handed her the bucket again, and Danny gently placed it down on a table, before dunking her hand in the bucket. She began spreading the paint over Bastion’s arms and chest piece, putting little lines to make it look a bit like tree bark.
A little less than an hour later, Bastion had been painted brown. The paint would be easy to take off, they just needed to wipe it off with a hot face cloth. Danny glued leaves around Bastion before having them heat up. Bastion could regulate their temperature, and so they could heat themselves up to dry the paint.
“You look great!” Danny beamed, and Bastion chirped, giving her a thumbs up. “I’m gonna go get ready, remember the party’s at six!” she called over her shoulder as she left down the hall. Bastion beeped an affirmative after her.
After Danny had finished helping Bastion with their costume, she retreated to her room to put together her own. She put some earrings on, she had made them out of the gears Hanzo had gotten her. Danny quickly did her makeup, which just consisted of some eyeliner and bright red lipstick on her face, but then she added some gold and silver shimmering lines along her chest so they looked like veins. Some of them went down her arms and stopped just at the crook of her elbow. After spraying some setting spray all over the lines, she slipped into her sleeveless black dress, which was fitted around the bust and flew out in a bunch of layers of fabric around her legs. There was a long slit going up to her upper thigh that she had initially been nervous about, but she was feeling herself. It was Halloween! Anything goes! She placed her witch’s hat on her head. She had glued tiny gears all around the brim and the base of the hat. She then hung some goggles around her neck, and slipped on her clunky brown boots she had chosen to go with the costume.
After doing a quick twirl in front of the mirror, grinning from ear to ear, Danny exitted her room, peeking around the hallway before crossing to Jesse’s door and banging on it.
“Jesse!” she shouted through the door. “Are you ready?” It opened a moment later, revealing Jesse in a wolf ear headband and a big black overcoat with rips along the arms where some fake fur had been shoved through. His face, which had brown makeup running down from his hairline to make it look like he was much more hairy than he actually was, sported a scowl as he itched at the fur peaking through the coat.
“Yeah, I’m ready,” he said, his face pinching as he adjusted the coat a bit, before it relaxed. “There we go,” he muttered, and Danny smiled, reaching through the doorway and grabbing his hand.
“Great!” she beamed, dragging him out and into the hallway. “Let’s go!” Jesse chuckled, allowing himself to be pulled down the hall towards the common area, where Danny and Lena had set up the Overwatch Halloween Party. They had kicked everyone out early that morning and denied anyone access until 6 pm, when the party started.
“Danny!” Lena called from in front of the large archway leading to the common area. It had been covered by two heavy red velvet curtains, they had Winston to thank for hanging them.
“You ready?” Danny asked excitedly, making her way over to the woman, who had been on guard duty. She was dressed in some white leggings and a waistcoat. A pocket watch was chained to one end of the waistcoat and rested in the pocket on the other side, and on her head was a headband with two bunny ears sticking out from the top.
“Ready, love!” Tracer nodded, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Danny nodded, and dove through the curtain with Tracer.
“Come on!” Danny called back, and the other members of Overwatch, who had gathered in the hallway, slowly made their way into the transformed common area.
Everyone’s jaws dropped as they saw what Danny and Lena had done to the space in less than 10 hours. The tables had been pushed to the edges of the room, with spider web table clothes covering them. Snacks were scattered around the tables as well as a punch bowl with what looked like eyeballs floating around in it. The couches had been moved more towards the center, set up in a relaxed semicircle. A coffee table with a crystal ball in the center lay between a couple of the couches, with eyeballs on a tray right next to the crystal ball.
(The eyeballs on the tray were really just buckeyes, chocolate covered peanut butter balls, that Lena and Danny had painted with some edible paint)
Jesse let out a low whistle.
“Quite a set up,” he said, going to tip his hat to Lena and Danny, only to remember it wasn’t there. Danny and Lena both beamed.
“Thanks!” Danny chirped, before spreading her arms wide and addressing the crowd. “Welcome to the Overwatch Halloween Party! We got snacks, drinks, and fun drinks, so go crazy!” There were some cheers and people dispersed throughout the room. Lucio, sporting a classic buccaneer outfit and a large golden hoop dangling from one ear, went straight over to a DJ table Lena and Danny had set up for him. He had begged them to let him DJ and they had agreed, though they had a list of required songs he had to play for them:
Monster Mash
Thriller
Cha Cha Slide
He had agreed easily to their demands.
Jesse, who had stuck next to Danny, elbowed her in the ribs lightly.
“What?” she asked, looking up at him, but he said nothing and just jutted his chin towards the door. Danny followed his gaze and had to clench her jaw to keep it from dropping at the sight.
Hanzo and Genji had walked in. Genji was wearing a stereotypical ninja costume with a red sash around his head, and Hanzo…
Hanzo was wearing a nice black suit that was fitted perfectly to his body. A blood red shirt was under the suit jacket as well as a black tie, and over the knot of the tie was a skull. He was wearing a top hat with a sash around the base. The sash was covered in skulls, and two tails for the sash fell behind his head. In his hand he gripped a cane with a skull on the top.
He looked good.
Danny raced over to the Shimada brothers.
“You guys look great!” she gushed, looking between the two, however her stare lingered on Hanzo a little longer than it perhaps should have. Jesse made his way over a little slower than Danny, much calmer. She tilted her head back so she could look up and meet Hanzo’s eyes. “You’re a witch doctor?” she asked, and Hanzo nodded, a bit of pink dusting his cheeks.
“Yes,” he said, and Danny beamed.
“So we’re twinning!” she held up a peace sign, and Hanzo’s shoulders seemed to relax as he let out a chuckle.
“Yes, we are,” he agreed after a moment.
All four of them jumped when the music suddenly started up, and the Monster Mash started playing in the background. Danny grinned, turning around and giving Lucio a thumbs up. He nodded at her and smiled back. Danny then looked around, and gasped when she saw Reinhardt.
“No way!” she muttered before bounding over to him. Jesse, Genji, and Hanzo all exchanged looks as they slowly followed after her. “Reinhardt!” Danny called, and the knight turned to look at her. He was covered in a brown furry suit, and a sash was over one shoulder while a crossbow was over the other. “You’re Chewbacca?” she beamed, and Reinhardt nodded with a laugh.
“Of course!” he said, before reaching behind him and tugging. Torbjörn begrudgingly allowed himself to be pulled into view by Reinhardt. Danny’s grin widened when she saw his Han Solo costume.
“Oh that’s awesome!” she cheered. “Is there a Luke and Leia?” she asked, and Reinhardt laughed, pointing to the side. Danny followed his finger to see Brigitte speaking to Lena in an all white dress, and her hair was in two gigantic buns on either side of her head. “Hell yeah,” she muttered to herself.
Before they could converse any further, Danny was gasping and racing over to Winston, who had just crouched down and through the doorway.
“No!” she shouted, running up to the scientist. “No way!” she laughed, and Winston gave her a sheepish smile. Jesse and Hanzo exchanged exasperated, but fond looks as they changed directions and headed towards Winston, giving Reinhardt and Torbjörn nods in greeting.
“Athena suggested it,” he shrugged, and Danny’s hand rose to her mouth, trying to contain her sniggers.
“Athena suggested-” she had to cut herself off with a burst of laughter. “Athena suggested you be a jar of peanut butter?” Winston nodded his head, the giant teal cap on top tilting down with it.
“So, are you… chunky or smooth?” Genji asked, giggling, and Danny reached over to thwack him on the back of his head. “Ow!” his hand rose to rub at where she hit, and he shot Danny a dirty look. Winston just levelled them both with an unimpressed stare. He didn’t even grace Genji with an answer, instead turning and walking away to join Lena and Angela across the room. The blonde medic was wearing an elegant victorian dress, and her lips were painted blood red. Occasionally one could see two fangs peeking out from between said lips. Danny pouted at Genji.
“You jerk!” she groaned jokingly, heading towards one of the snack tables and pouring herself some punch,
“It was an honest question!” Genji shot back, and Danny rolled her eyes.
“Sure it was,” she giggled, shaking her head at him. She jumped when she felt a bit of heat at her back, looking over her shoulder to see Hanzo standing right behind her. He looked at her cup.
“What is that?” he asked, and Danny snorted.
“Blood,” she answered, only to be met with an unimpressed look by Hanzo. She pouted at his lack of response. “No fun,” the corner of Hanzo’s lips quirked up into a small .smirk.
“I’m fun!” he argued lightheartedly, and Danny narrowed her eyes at him.
“Whatever you say, sweetheart,” she said with a grin, pouring another cup of punch and turning to hand it to him. “Bet you’re more fun with some alcohol in you!” she chirped teasingly, shoving it into his hand. Hanzo sighed, raising the cup to his nose to give the red punch a sniff. Smelling nothing off, Hanzo took a sip of the punch, and let out a pleased hum.
“It’s good,” he said, and Danny grinned.
“Good!” she cheered. Hanzo smiled down at her, and Danny had the passive thought that he was quite handsome in a top hat…
“So this is something new, Casper slide part two…” Danny broke out into a grin, her free hand reaching out to grab Hanzo’s arm.
“Come on!” she cheered, dragging him over to the open space that they had allocated for dancing. Others were also lining up for the song, and Hanzo was staring at Danny, so lost. She giggled, and plucked his drink out of his hand, plopping it down on one of the coffee tables with her own.
“Everybody clap your hands…” people began to clap to the rhythm, and Hanzo jumped, looking at Danny questioningly.
“It’s the cha cha slide! A group dance!” she cheered, and he just tilted his head.
“What?” he muttered, and Danny giggled.
“It’s self explanatory,” she said to him, and he continued to stare blankly at her. She rolled her eyes playfully, grabbing his hand in her own. “Just do what I do!” she urged him.
“To the left!” Danny stepped to the left, pulling on Hanzo’s hand so he did it with her. “Take it back now y’all!” she stepped back, again dragging Hanzo with her. She accidentally bumped into Lena, who grinned at her. “One hop this time!” they both jumped in the air, though Hanzo stayed firmly on the ground.
“What is this?” he asked Danny, who stomped with the command as it came.
“A classic party dance!” she said to him, beginning to do a silly dance as the actual cha cha part came on. Hanzo just stared quizzically at her, but she shook her head, reaching over and grabbing his other hand to try and get him to dance with her. “Come on Hanzo! Dance with me!” she pleaded, pouting and widening her eyes. Hanzo stared at her for a moment, unmoving, before he started to nod his head a little. Danny grinned, giving him a quick hug before pulling back “I’ll take it!”

I'm sorry, has anyone really expected me not to go with body swap on this prompt? That will never happen. Day 5: Role reversal. Winston and Symmetra are working on a way to teleport multiple people at once, so in case of a crisis, agents don't have to go in one by one. As usual, the crisis comes much sooner than expected - and the first practical test does not go as planned. Who is even surprised at this point? Now the team in question has to deal with the fallout and some uncomfortable revelations. ...and yes, at this point Symmetra is my main sacrificial lamb for lousy plot bunnies. Meh, someone had to be
Words: 5+k
Rating: T
Pairings: Jesse McCree/Hanzo Shimada, Genji Shimada & Hanzo Shimada
Tags: Bodyswap, Light Angst, shimada brothers feels, Shimada Dragons, Noodle Dragons, but a bit more ferocious, this had a potential to either be 20k of hurt/comfort or this one-shot for day 5 prompt, honestly it was a tough choice, Peapod McHanzo Week, Friendship/Love, Best Friends
“Explain.” Hanzo’s tone makes it clear enough this is the one and only chance for them, in case they missed the murderous intent on his face. It was surreal to see that expression on McCree’s face pointed towards anyone friendly and it made Winston trip over his own tongue.
“I- um, we are still in the stage of finding out all the- the details. As we told you before the mission, the device was not properly tested but we deemed it stable enough for a case of emergency.” He pushed his glasses up his nose. “Which, may I add, came to pass.”
“As you are all here and alive it was clearly a good decision,” Satya huffed, pausing in her work over Winston’s station.
McCree’s - well Hanzo’s - arm shoot up to hold off the archer. “Whoa there, pardner. They’re working on it. Let’s keep them to it, okay?”
“McCree,” Hanzo growled and began to look up just to realize he is the taller one of them now and turned his gaze down. His own face was looking at him with an infuriatingly placating smile on his lips.
“I must agree with Jesse on this,” Angela said pausing at the mechanical, and male, voice the words came out in. “I need to do tests on all of us. Really, we shouldn’t have loose time with a debriefing, this is clearly a medical emergency ergo it takes priority.” Her helmeted head turned to where her body was standing rather rigidly, arms holding as to not to touch her own body, making her look like a bad mannequin. “You should have told me, Genji.”
“I… am sorry, doctor..” Was the stilted answer in her own voice.
“Well, I’m not done with this!” A booming voice made them all flinch, including the speaker herself.
“Hana,” McCree started but the huge German knight whirled at him.
“Don’t even, Hanzo! I mean McCree! Just don’t. Look at me! I’m- old! And a guy!”
“This is most peculiar!” Agreed Reinhardt, his usually greater-than-life voice underwhelming coming from D.Va’s tiny body.
“We just want to know when do ya think we can get back into our own bodies,” McCree asked placatingly the scientist and architech respectively.
Winston scratched his head in thought but it was Satya who answered.
“There is much to be done first. We don’t even know how this came to be. We won’t try to reverse it until we know, we could do more harm than good.”
“Because you did such a great job the first time around,” Hana griped in what should probably be under her breath tone but Reinhardt’s vocal box turning into a sentence of regular loudness.
“Uncalled for,” McCree said reprovingly and to her credit, she winced.
“Yeah, sorry. This is just-“
“Uncomfortable,” Genji filled in, still too rigid to be anything but supremely uncomfortable.
“I know. But I’m inclined to agree with Angela, you should all move to med bay. I promise we will let you know the moment we have any new information.”
So they did. The deflated shuffle walk of individuals not quite sure how their bodies work and too afraid to breaks something. Or someone.
McCree sighed, his right hand still holding onto the serape just to hold Hanzo back just in case. And they thought the mission was bad. Fucking typical.
“I see,” Zenyatta said, his head looking from one to the next. “Genji?”
“Here, Master,” Genji replied, Angela’s body raising a hand, barely breaking out of its dejected posture.
“I see,” Zenyatta repeated. “Would it be okay if Genji accompanied me elsewhere, doctor Ziegler?”
“I need to check over everyone first, Zenyatta. And I have some questions for Genji I need to-” she paused, clearly not wanting to say it out loud.
“I understand but maybe I could lend you a hand in that way later?”
“It is okay, master,” Genji sighed. “I do not wish for Angela to be in undue pain because of me.”
“Pain?” Hanzo asked with urgency. “Were you injured on the mission?”
“No, brother.” Without his mask, all of his emotions were clearly written all over Angela’s face. It spoke of sadness. And guilt. “I speak of the pain of being a cyborg. I might have neglected to inform doctor Ziegler about my usual state of being. I’ve learned to ignore it.”
Hanzo looked stricken, then bowed his head, gritting his teeth. The hat was shielding him from most of the room but McCree was standing right next to him and he knew his own face, alright? He knew how he looked when he was fighting tears.
“Anija, please do not-”
“I am sorry,” Hanzo blurted before all but ran out of the infirmary.
“Aniki!”
“Hanzo! We need to check you over!” Angela called after him in Genji’s mechanical voice and McCree internally cursed.
“Don’t worry, I’ll bring him back,” he said to the room, making his way to the door. “Just, do yer thing and we’ll be back.”
He did not wait for their response and made his way where he knew Hanzo would be. His gait much smoother and faster than what he was used to, also quieter. It felt much easier to move and he silently marveled at Hanzo’s fitness. “Damn ninjas.”
He knew he would find Hanzo on the balcony under the roof where he usually tended to retreat to. There would be no fancy wall climbing in Jesse’s body and boots, though.
So when he opened the door and his gaze fell on the man leaning on the railing with a hand over his eyes he was unsurprised.
He hadn’t said anything as he neared the archer, just took in the shaking shoulders and wet sounding breaths.
It took a while before Hanzo spoke. “You should stop smoking,” was the first thing he said when Jesse was close enough.
“Yeah. Yer not the first one to tell me that.”
“And your endurance is atrocious. My sides never hurt after such a short distance.”
“Hey know, no need to be mean. We can’t all be fitness-freak ninjas.” McCree went with the banter as he closed the remaining distance, standing next to Hanzo, looking down at the monitoring station. Just to give Hanzo some semblance of privacy.
Hanzo scoffed, trying and failing to stop the wetness gather in his eyes.
After a few more moments of whipping the moisture from his face, Hanzo sighed, tone grouchy. “This body cries very easily.”
“Yeah, always did,” Jesse chuckled. “On the flip side I don’t suffer from puffy eyes much, so yer in luck there.” Out of habit, he patted his chest pocket for a cigarillo but of course, there was none. And neither was a pocket. Now that he considered it, he hadn’t really had craving for it. But he wouldn’t say no to a drink.
“Did you know?”
There was no need for clarification. “I knew back in Blackwatch, hoped it changed with time. Guess not.”
Hanzo made a self-deprecating noise and Jesse cringed a little. It was weird to hear himself do it.
“Why would he keep it a secret?”
Jesse tried not to let his face show any pity but he held little hope as Hanzo probably knew his face as good as Jesse knew his.
“Ya know why. Yer brother forgave you and wants you to do the same. He wouldn’t want to add up to the fuckton of guilt you already carry around.”
Hanzo growled. “Do you not think it deserved? He might have survived but the past eleven years of his life were filled with pain. In mind and in body.”
“Han, let it go. If not for you then for him. Genji worked so hard to move past it. Yes, he lives with physical pain but you can’t tell me he’s not happy.”
Hanzo pressed the fingers of Jesse’s flesh hand into his eyes, letting out a long breath.
“I do not think I can. Not yet anyway,” he continued before Jesse could say anything else. “But I will not bring it up with him.”
Jesse guessed that was the best deal he could break right now. He patted Hanzo’s left shoulder. The man’s face contorted.
Oh. Right. Genji wasn’t the only one with constant aches.
“I am telling doctor Ziegler about this.”
“Aw, Han. Come on.”
When they got back into the infirmary, Genji, presumably still in Angela’s body, and Zenyatta were gone. The doctor was now checking over Hana who was holding herself very still. Jesse noticed some items scattered on the ground and a tipped over chair.
“Not used to taking this much space, huh?” he asked, sidestepping Reinhard who ironically took as much space as usual despite the smaller packaging.
“It’s the worst! I keep bumping things. And people.” She leaned forward, wincing. “And my back aches. And my joints.”
“Tis the weather, little one. It can’t be helped. But you will find I’m more than fit!”
Hana’s grumbles made Jesse chuckle into his hand. Everyone turned to look at him.
“Oh my god, did you just giggle? I didn’t know Hanzo could do that!”
“Aye, it’s most unexpected.”
Next to him, Hanzo bristled. “I do not giggle .”
Hana laughed. “Maybe you don’t but he does. And right now that makes you the one giggling.”
“It wasn’t a giggle,” Jesse protested but he could already tell it wouldn’t change a thing, so he deflected. “Just focus on your achy joints, firecracker, would you?”
That was enough for Angela to get back to work, her movements little stilted and jerky.
It the end Reinhardt was fine, he was perfectly alright, with the sole exception that the body was not inhabited by him. And it went similarly when Mercy checked Hana’s body as well, passing all the response test with flying colors.
“Alright, who wishes to go next?”
Hanzo stepped forward before McCree could say a single thing. He sat on the bed formerly occupied by Reinhardt and thrust his bent left arm forward.
“Dammit, Hanzo.” McCree couldn’t help himself.
“I said I would inform the doctor and that is what I am doing.”
“Is there something wrong?” Angela crossed her arms, one hip cocked slightly to the side in posture she usually took on when someone was about to be in trouble. It looked strange on Genji, to say the least.
“McCree’s arm causes him constant discomfort. I believe it is not completely usual.”
The doctor hummed. “Can you give me a number on a scale from one to ten?”
Hanzo thought. “Solid four.”
“‘S not that bad!” Jesse protested but neither of them was listening.
“Hmm.” Angela took the arm carefully into her hands, straightening, bending, and twisting it in this or that direction. Hanzo’s face remained stoic but McCree nearly winced himself when she turned the palm away from the body. He knew what Hanzo must be feeling at that moment. The archer obediently described all sensations and Angela nodded, while still prodding at different spots.
“I believe we have the cause. The anchor for the prosthetic arm is pinching a nerve right here,” she pointed at a specific place. “I am afraid we will need to refit it.”
“Goddammit,” McCree murmured. He hated the first fitting and the second one even more. “Do we have to, Ang?”
“Yes, Jesse. If it didn’t go away on its own so far there is little hope it will at all. Either the pain will keep worsening or your arm will go numb and probably weaken considerably. Worst-case scenario, you will lose control over the prosthesis.”
Well, fuck. He sighed, making a grab for his hat, that, of course, wasn't there.
“Alright, fine. When?”
“I can have it ready in a few days, I’ll ask Torbjorn to prioritize it. You should speak to him about any changes you might want.”
“Nope. No changes. I’m used to this one, so make it as close to it as possible.”
Angella nodded, clearly not surprised by his choice. “I will tell him. We will be ready when this thing is reversed.”
“No.” Hanzo jumped in. “There is no reason to wait for us to be in our correct bodies. Tell me when it is ready and we will do it immediately.”
“What in the hells, are you crazy?!” Jesse grabbed his shoulder turning him so they could face each other. “You have no idea what yer sayin’.”
Hanzo scoffed. “Do not treat me as a child, McCree. I know how serious the procedure is but I’m sure doctor Ziegler will agree it is best to fix this situation as soon as possible. Is it not?”
Angela was looking Hanzo but with her face hidden behind the faceplate, Jesse couldn’t tell what she thought about it.
“Are you sure, agent Shimada? We will have to attach a new anchor for the prosthetic arm, I do not have to tell you the nerve re-attachment will be excruciating even with anesthetic and there will be rehabilitation necessary afterward.”
“Angela, no.”
“I understand and I am willing.”
She looked from Hanzo to Jesse, who was putting on his best begging face, and back to Hanzo before nodding. “I will inform Torbjorn there is no need to wait then.”
“I don’t get a fucking say in this? It is still my body! If anyone has to go through that shit it should be me, not Hanzo.”
“It still could be you, Jesse. We do not know how long it will take for Satya and Winston to reverse this. And agent Shimada is right, we cannot wait too long. How long has it been hurting like this, Jesse?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. Eight or nine months? I don’t remember.”
“Jesse!”
“It’s not that bad! I just learned to work around it, ‘s all.”
There was a string of muttered German that he didn't really need to speak to understand.
“We are not waiting any longer.” She raised her hand to stop his protests. “You know I can overrule you on this, Jesse.”
Jesse knew. Reyes made damn sure of it. And goddammit he should have taken the time to officially quit back then. He and Genji were probably the only ones with that particular clause in their contracts.
He also knew Angela never acted on it unless it was beyond serious. He rubbed his face with both hands before letting his shoulders slump in defeat.
“Fine. Schedule it as you see fit.”
“Thank you,” she said, there was a palpable warmth in that mechanical voice.
The rest of the examination went by quickly and nearly silently. Hanzo waited for him until he was done as well before saying goodbye to Angela and leaving the infirmary.
They managed to walk for all of sixty feet before Jesse turned on Hanzo, grabbing the serape and pushing his back to the wall.
“What the fuck do you think yer doing, Shimada!” he hissed at the now taller man. Spitting those words into his own face felt cathartic in a way he did not wish to think about.
Hanzo barred his teeth at him. “I am saving your arm!”
“No, yer tryin’ to punish yourself for Genji! And I don't appreciate you using my body to do it!”
Hanzo looked floored before gathering himself again. “Is that so? And this from a man who spent nearly a year in pain and is about to lose an arm because of his own foolish pride!” He pushed Jesse away with a grunt, stabbing a finger into his chest. “Do not presume to know my reasons!”
It felt like a slap, Jesse took a step back, watching as Hanzo’s chest heaved with anger hard enough he could see it even with the chest plate. When the archer turned and stalked away, leaving him to stand in the hallway, Jesse was still replaying Hanzo’s last words in his head.
Then he let out string of curses Hanzo’s mouth probably never before formed.
The knock on the door was soft and Genji contemplated ignoring it. He felt tired. Exhausted even.
He spent several hours with Zenyatta talking and thinking and feeling. And all we wished to do now was to shut down for a while. Or sleep. As he was not a cyborg at the moment and there was no forcing it.
He turned over on the bed just to discover he had to scoot a little to even reach the edge. One of many disorienting things about being in the body of a rather lithe human woman.
“Genji.”
McCree?
Genji frowned. The voice was soft but in a completely wrong way. Then he remembered.
Rising and opening the door was almost an automatic move. Hanzo did not seek him out often and Genji cherished those few occasions he did so. He did not wish for Hanzo to feel like he wasn’t welcomed now, after learning the unfortunate detail of Genji’s continuous existence.
Needless to say, it was bizarre to have to look up at him as McCree was much taller than Angela. He got used to being the taller brother now, it was his little joy.
“Aniki. How are you?”
The flash of pain was something he was not unused to see on Jesse’s face but it has been a while since there was a reason for it to happen in front of Genji. But now the knowledge of workings of McCree’s face was his boon as Hanzo seemed to lack the poker face he had in his own body.
“I wished to ask you that.”
Genji gestured for him to step into the room and let the door close behind them. There wasn’t much in a way of seating in his room. He lacked the desire for comfort as his body’s senses were limited in that and many other ways. But they used his bed as a makeshift couch before, they could do it now as well.
“Would you like to sit?”
Hanzo nodded, making his way across the rather narrow space; he avoided the weapon rack with Genji’s swords but his foot caught at one of the feet of the bed, making him stumble and drop down hard on the mattress, making it squeak.
Genji snorted. It came out much higher than he was used to and his brother shot him a look, eyebrows arched.
That was fair. There was more than enough ammunition for both of them here.
“I take it McCree’s body is not treating you kindly?”
Hanzo scoffed. “He’s a stubborn fool, I am unsurprised his body is as well.”
“Harsh, brother. Did something happened?” Genji asked as he dropped on the bed; it did not make a sound, not even a decent bounce. How disappointing.
Hanzo scowled. “I do not wish to discuss McCree.”
Genji stared at him contemplatively, deciding if he should let it go or push. But maybe now wasn’t the best time for that. “Alright.”
“How are you feeling? Did doctor Ziegler said everything is good with you as well? Or as good as it can be at least?”
Genji smiled at Hanzo, forgetting he had no faceplate to hide it behind. His brother blinked several times, before looking down and scoffing as his face grew a shade darker.
“I am well, Hanzo. It was a shock, I will not lie about that. But mostly I was afraid I would hurt Angela’s body by accident. Next to my cyborg body, hers is quite fragile. It will take me some time to acclimatize, as Master put it. As I did after getting my new body.”
Hanzo nodded. “Understandable. If you will accept my advice, do not try to climb any walls.”
Genji blinked. Hanzo was staring back at him. They both started to laugh at the same time.
“You did not-” Genji wheezed.
“I wish I did not. I nearly toppled over the railing.”
That set up Genji all over again. His brother, who had the uncanny ability to climb any smooth surface by the age of seven, couldn’t do it with a pair of cowboy boots on.
“I would pay money to see that.”
Hanzo chuckled. “You may try and ask Athena, maybe she will be willing to part with the security footage for a favor or two.”
“I may just do that.”
He leaned back into the wall, sighing contentedly. “This is nice.”
“Mhm.”
“I must say I’m surprised, I expected you to… react in some way to Angela’s revelation. I thought that was why you have come.”
The quick intake of breath whistled a little between Hanzo’s lips. But to Genji’s surprise, there was nothing more.
“Do you not have questions, anija?”
“None that I think I need the answers to. I believe I understand your reasons for keeping it secret and I won’t pry. If you choose to speak to me about it in the future, I will listen.”
“How unexpectedly mature of you,” Genji quipped and Hanzo’s elbow connected with his upper arm.
“Shut up.”
Genji chuckled. “So what brought on this world-shattering epiphany? Or should I ask who?”
Hanzo shot him a dark look. “I told you I do not wish to speak about him.”
“So it was him.”
“Genji…”
“I simply wish to know if I should go knock him around a bit.”
Hanzo snorted. “In that body? Also, you would only bruise my own body. Best not.”
Genji sighed dramatically, stretching his legs. It felts extremely satisfying and it made him smile again. “I guess that’s true. But I could at least bitch at him a little, doctor Ziegler has a magnificent voice when it comes to yelling.”
“Personal experience?” Hanzo smirked.
“Maybe.” Genji finally decided to give up and simply plastered himself to Hanzo’s side. It wasn’t quite right but it hardly mattered.
“What are you doing?”
McCree’s put-upon tone had nothing on Hanzo’s, Genji chuckled. “Clearly, I am snuggling the resident cowboy because you are too chickenshit to do it yourself.”
He fully expected to be punched for that one, realizing too late it wouldn’t just bounce from his metal plates. Luckily, his brother was aware enough to slow his hand down before it connected. It still stung.
“You are not funny.”
“Lies.” Genji grabbed the hand and pulled himself closer with it, now putting his head on Hanzo’s shoulder. It was supremely uncomfortable but he could hold it for a little while.
“But seriously, are you okay, aniki?”
Hanzo sighed but leaned back enough so Genji could fit under his arm instead. It was a weird position but at least it was more comfortable. “I feel strange. I forgot how it feels without them constantly poking at my mind.”
A wave of goosebumps went over Genji; yet another sensation he hadn’t felt in a decade. “I know what you mean. I do hope they will stay put without us there to draw them out. But at least the good doctor knows Ramen. And Ramen likes her, so she shouldn’t cause any problems.”
Hanzo went very still under him. “Oh. Oh no. ”
Jesse felt worse before. Really, he did. Much worse even. But that hardly helped at the moment.
He spent an hour pacing around the compound, Hanzo’s body brimming with restless energy. Nothing like the slow humming undercurrent of his own he was used to. How was the archer always looking and acting so calm and collected was beyond him. The urge to run, climb, and throw punches all at once was making him supremely agitated.
In the end, he made his way to his room, punched in the code, and headed straight for the bed and the stock of bourbon under it.
Some indeterminable span of time later and more than half a bottle in, the agitation turned into a sulk. Not much better but at least he didn’t felt like he needed to go run a marathon anymore.
Jesse was aware he fucked up.
Badly.
He shouldn’t have said those things. He and Hanzo had a rocky start, mostly on account of Jesse’s long friendship with Genji and the somewhat aloof nature of the Shimada heir. But they got over it. And as they were passing it they discovered many common interests. And even better, a similar sense of humor. After that their relationship skyrocketed and soon reached a friendship Jesse would never expect. Nowadays they barely spent any free time without each other in some way. Even if they were far, or occupied by something, they tended to send each other messages, pictures or quips at the expense of those they were physically sharing space with. And somewhere in the middle of that, they entrusted some of their secrets to each other. Shards of unsavory pasts, mistakes that haunted their steps and dreams. Regrets.
Jesse hadn’t even noticed when he started to trace the outline of the dragon tattoo on Hanzo’s arm. It was such an intricate piece of art. Hanzo once told him that unlike regular tattoos this one did not fade and it stayed as sharp as it was the first day it was put on his skin.
‘Magic.’ Hanzo grinned at him that evening, taking a sip from his gourd before letting Jesse have one as well.
Jesse was confident this blunder wasn’t about to ruin what they have, their foundations were built much more solidly for a fight like this to shake them. But that did not mean he didn't feel like shit about it. He hated fighting with Hanzo. Real fighting. Not the banter, or quips, or shots they took at each other on regular basis. That was fun, they both knew it.
“Shouldn’t have brought Genji into it. ‘M such an idiot,” he murmured into his palms as he rubbed at his face.
True .
His eyes flew wide open and he dropped his hands.
“What.”
Sssstupid, cowboy.
The bright blue glow was as familiar as it was unexpected. He could feel the tingling under his skin turning into prickling and then burning as the glow intensified and morphed from tendrils into two thin, long forms floating in the air above him.
“Howdy?”
Why are you here?
He isss not here.
Where issss he?
What did you do with massster?
To say the dragons were aggravated was a gross understatement and Jesse suddenly felt a nibble of fear.
They were hissing over each other, twisting in the air and to his horror, growing.
“I’m sorry. I know this must feel wrong to you, guys. We got switched but they are working on getting us back in order, I swear!”
We can hear you.
You have hurt him.
We ssshould eat you.
“Oh god.” Pinned in his own bed under the coiling bodies of ancient spirits he saw wreak more havoc in battle than most bombs can, Jesse felt terror like scarce ever before.
He isss not here-
We could devour you whole.
-to ssstop usss.
“B- but it’s Hanzo’s body!” A new sort of horror poured over him as the thought of Hanzo losing his body got to him. Would he survive that? Would it kill them both? What if this wasn’t permanent and when they switched back, Hanzo would have nowhere to go and just disappeared?
We can sssave the body.
We can only take your sssoul.
That was somewhat relieving. Just a little. But he was still scared shitless. He barely noticed the sound of door opening and voices shouting.
Massster!
We can feel him!
He isss here!
“Udon! Soba! Stop this immediately!”
Jesse watched the spirits float over to where Hanzo was standing in Jesse’s body, the dragons swirling around him, poking their noses with trembling whiskers into his sides, and neck, and tugging at his clothes.
Hanzo was talking in fast Japanese, his voice stern and angry sounding.
Jesse flinched as someone touched him; Angela immediately pulling back, hands up in a placating gesture.
“It is only me. Are you well, Jesse?”
Oh. right. Not Angela. Genji. He let his eyes fall shut and head drop back on the pillow.
“Not gonna lie. I’ve been better.”
“Did they hurt you?”
He shook his head. “Nah. Not really. Scared me shitless though. They are not happy with me. Not one bit.” He peered from under his lashes at Hanzo, who was now holding the dragons who solidified around him, like two glowing blue anacondas. He was looking at Jesse with a forcibly neutral expression. “Can’t say I blame them.”
Genji let out a relieved breath, turning to his brother. “Anija?”
“They are calming down now. But I do not understand what drew them out in the first place.”
Jesse blinked, then groaned. “‘S my fault I think. Was touching the tattoo. Thinking about you.”
Next to him, Genji choked.
“Fer fuck’s sake not like that! Just, I don’t know, tracing it. Hadn’t even noticed at first.”
“Ah.” Was all Hanzo said.
The silence in the room was getting a bit awkward when Hanzo sighed and asked his brother: “Genji, could you give us a moment?”
“Sure, aniki!” Genji said happily, before turning to Jesse, murmuring: “Don’t fuck it up or I’ll fuck you up.” In that tone Angela only ever used on runaway patients who had the audacity to bring cigarillos and whiskey back to the med bay. He gulped.
Hanzo must have caught it because he rolled his eyes at his brother as he passed by.
Then he turned to Jesse, who was still lying on the bed. The dragons lifted their heads from Hanzo’s shoulders, watching Jesse intently.
“They won’t hurt you.”
“Mmhm.”
“They are under strict order not to.”
“As I said, I wouldn’t blame them. They got right to be pissed.” You got right to be pissed , was what Jesse meant to say. But Hanzo seemed to hear it anyway.
He let out a breath, sitting gingerly on the edge of the bed, careful not to actually sit on one of the coils around him.
“I-”
“I’m sorry!” Jesse blurted, suddenly afraid Hanzo would try and apologize to him instead. Hanzo huffed, a small smile curling his lips.
“I know you regret your words, Jesse. Just as I regret mine. But what I meant to say is that I’ve been thinking, and your words weren’t completely baseless. My decision was influenced by my guilt. But”- he raised a hand as Jesse opened his mouth to speak. “But it was only a small part of it. This is a serious issue and I would not have you risk your arm for my comfort.”
“Han, this is more than just about comfort. There’s a reason I haven’t said anything for so long. That surgery? I still have nightmares ‘bout the first one. Yes, they’ll give ya anesthetics but not enough, they need you to be awake and feel for their readings to be worth a damn.”
Hanzo nodded. “I am aware.”
Jesse was now focusing solely on Hanzo’s eyes.
He looked into this pair of eyes nearly every day of his life; he knew every speck of gold and green that appeared in them over the years, searching in them as often as he did for the answers he needed at times. But never once they looked like this. Like they are not his at all.
“Please, Jesse. I might be unable to keep Genji from pain but I can do it for you .”
He nodded, defeated. “If yer sure then.”
“I am. I would see you happy and healthy when we get to back to our own bodies. Our competition will be much more interesting without a handicap on your side.”
Jesse let out an indignant squawk. “Oh yer just full of yourself, ain'tcha, Shimada?”
Hanzo arched an eyebrow at him. “I believe you are the one who is full of myself at the moment.”
The groan was heartfelt, and it was only because of Hanzo was still intertwined with his dragons that Jesse didn’t chuck a pillow at him.
The archer was still chuckling at his own god-awful joke when Jesse spoke again.
“Hey, Han?”
“Yes?”
“Thank ya.”
Hanzo smiled at him. “You are welcome. But there is no need for thanks, now or later.”
“I mean, fer always having ma back.” He reached towards the archer’s hands just to stop himself a foot away. He did not fully expect the man to close the distance and intertwine their fingers. Knuckles brushing against knuckles, warm skin against his colder one. Hanzo’s fingers are always cold , Jesse thought. I guess I’ll always have to be there to warm them up.
The thought came out of nowhere, yet it felt like it was always there. Flickering in the back of his mind.
Well, damn.
“Hey Han?” he asked again. The archer humming, thumb brushing over Jesse’s index finger. “When we have our bodies back, wouldya like to grab some tea and cake with me?”
The finger stilled for a second, two, three; then it started to move again. There was a softness to his voice Jesse never heard in all his days.
“I would like that very much.”

Unpopular opinion: European representation
The whole concept Mercy discourse about representation always reminds me how I personally, a Muslim European female, am not represented in overwatch. Or you know, at all in most american media.
Hell the japanese made a better job with Shaheen from Tekken as a middle eastern fighter. (Not that tumblr gives a shit about Tekken though)
The only time I personally felt represented in american media was with the Temeraire book series, with a DRAGON character, and only because it was a turkish dragon who hatched on german ground.
So don’t mistake me for someone who doesnt give a crap about representation. I am still waiting for a Muslim Person in overwatch.
On to my opinion:
Representation isn’t only about skin colour. Sure European black people exists, but you know what also exists?
A bunch of European States.
I cant remember having seen a lot of characters coming from Poland, Slovakia or Albania.
I personally think Reinhardt is a really nice work of representation, staying away from the german nazi stereotype and being a lovely and super badass looking grandpa. I remember my german friend tagging Reinhardt fanart with stuff like “YEAH A NON EVIL GERMAN CHARACTER”.
Because, you know, not every german is Hans Gruber.
Of course you could have made Reinhardt black or giving him turkish background or make him be Muslim, but it doesnt matter, because in the end he is a german Person and a good one.
A turkish german character is good,
A german german character is good as well, as long as the Person comes from Germany.
Talking about Germany, do you know how representation works here? In Germany, a good movie with good representation wouldn’t have to include black people like american movies, because here there arent many of them. They aren’t as big of a minority here as they are in america.
German movies would have to include turks, poles and russians. 4 Million out of 80 Million people in Germany are from turkish background, me included.
A french movie on the other hand would have to include algerians. black folk too, they even had a black Person for Eurovision once. And they again would have to include turks.
A british movie would have to include Indian and pakistani people.
See what I’m getting at?
Representation works different depending on where you live and where the story is set. A german story with no turks in is just unrealistic, you have to include at least 3 Muslim women in hijab as Extras cause in a crowded place you should at least see 3 hijabis crossing your path.
And then we have Overwatch, a game with no actual setting. The setting is not the US. NOT THE US. It’s an american game but it doesnt settle it’s story to america, it clearly goes for an international setting.
Means having a lot of European white skinned people in it is not the same as a movie set in California where all the cast members are white.
Know what would be Bad representation? Overwatch only having americans. A international Organisation and only having american people in it would be bad rep, even if all of them were black.
So yeah, having a Swiss doctor is enough representation. A black one would have been awesome, but a white doc is just as much representation, when you DONT think american and think representation = skin colour.
Representation is also about different nationalities, ethnicities and cultures.
(And guess what, Europe has a bunch of different ethnicities)
If I were to play in a german movie I would be that muslim-turkish representation, even if my skin is white.
Overwatch is something international, having white peeps from various European countries is just as much representation as having black peeps from various african countries.
Which we don’t have, they could really work on that, I’d love that.
I understand were you all are coming from. Of course it’s annoying to have so many white people. Overwatch is not perfect. If it were accurate then we sure would have more chinese, Indian and african people from various cultures in it, and less europeans.
But still my opinion still stands:
European white people who actually come from those countries and arent stereotyped are also representation in american media.

so, Haikyuu x Overwatch AU headcanon idea, guys
ASDASDGJKLHLK I swear my brain only give me ideas when I should be doing something else. Iwaizumi Hajime as (Shimada Hanzo) - eldest son of the Iwaizumi family (largest yakuza/conglomerate in Japan/Miyagi) - bad-ass archer with dragon tattoos along right arm that can summon dragon spirits - groomed to lead Iwaizumi-gumi, and was told to kill Kunimi, his younger brother, when it seems he would be a liability. Iwaizumi could not bring himself to fight Kunimi, so he took his younger brother and fled.  - Believes himself a coward for running, instead of dismantling the Iwaizumi empire. Doesn’t believe himself worthy of honor until he dismantles the Iwaizumi yakuza with his own two hands.  - Bow is called Quake-Shot. - Is convinced to join Overwatch by Kunimi (More accurately, joined Overwatch to keep an eye on Kunimi). - catchphrase: ‘I’ve got you in my sight’ [Sorry, Jack, took your line.] - wears Hanzo’s standard garb properly, sleeves up and all. Only yanks right sleeve down (and revealing that glorious half-chest) on missions.  - Is ambidextrous, but can only summon dragons through left arm.
Oikawa Tooru as (D.va/Hana Song) - ex-military? Munitions expert somehow (note: give more thought to this) - adept at using firearms in general; knowledgeable - Mech type is named SET-tA (tri-Angulate) [because I cannot resist puns] - streams his fights online on Nico Nico Douga - has a large online fan-base and aware of it - bodysuit is aquamarine and white - public story is that he was recruited; actually volunteered to join Overwatch - can’t cook, but surprisingly excellent at baking - bad at video games [LOL; always trounced by Kunimi] Kunimi Akira as (Shimada Genji) - Iwaizumi’s younger brother from a different mother; adopts mother’s surname as sign of defiance - is an extremely efficient ninja, mostly because he’s too lazy for theatrics - feels guilty at causing Iwaizumi’s self-conflict, even though Iwaizumi swears it’s not his fault - also has to put up with his brother’s eventual crush on Oikawa  - has a dragon, but mostly half of one - tattoo (on his left arm) wasn’t completed  - Enjoys watching anime; currently following Haikyuu and BnHA Matsukawa Issei as (Angela Ziegler/Mercy) - Or, the one who has to put up with Oikawa’s not-so-subtle pining - Level-headed and even-tempered…for most part - Used to be known as Doctor of Death; took part in the failed Re:VIVE project that experimented on corpses - knew Oikawa personally before the latter joined Overwatch Yahaba Shigeru as (Lucio Correia dos Santos) - duh. - Unfortunately, he can’t sing on-key. - Heavily favors using ARASHI tracks in-battle. His own tracks tend to instrumentals that seem heavily influenced by Hans Zimmer.  - handy with electronics; repairs his own amplifiers. Has performed emergency fixes on SET-tA in-field - plagued with self-doubt as to how useful his skills are (internally) Ushijima Wakatoshi as (Reinhardt Wilhelm) - but with the calm of Zenyatta’s personality - enjoys tending to the patch of garden on HQ; adept at growing vegetables - Oikawa’s accidental confidante because the latter keeps sulking in the garden - has a pair of pet tortoises in his room - can go berserk if he considers the enemy ‘worthy’ - actually told Oikawa ‘you should have joined Overwatch’ once; Oikawa held out on his registration for two months to spite him. Story notes:
- Iwaizumi is already a part of Overwatch when Oikawa arrives. Oikawa takes an interest in Iwaizumi, given his knowledge on the Iwaizumi-gumi.  - Attempts at finding out why Iwaizumi is in Overwatch instead of running the yakuza group leads to early conflicts.  - But Oikawa is still suitably awed when he sees Iwaizumi is all his one-sleeved, partially-bare-chested glory -  I mean, competence. Because Iwaizumi is fscking good at what he does. The dragon-tattoo is hot too. Then DRAGONS, WOW. Oikawa potentially embarrasses himself on his live-stream - Oikawa realizes attraction to Iwaizumi, oh shit. Makes it his life-goal to befriend Iwaizumi somehow, much to the latter’s suspicion. In the mean time, talks Iwaizumi up in his streams (with the logic that if he constantly jibes good-naturedly about Iwa-chan, no one will notice his actual crush beneath. Think pigtail-tugging, but more OOT-compliments.)
- banter banter snipe snipe UST. Ushijima gets no peace in his zen garden.  - eventually Overwatch runs into an operation run by the Iwaizumi-gumi - Hajime is 200% more reckless, accidentally leaves himself as an open target for a shot (on the rooftop). SET-tA suddenly shoots up and explodes in baddie’s face, Iwaizumi panics but LO, Oikawa is on the ground; ejected himself out and sent SET-tA up - and since when can SET-tA fly??? (Oikawa is a genius.) - Iwaizumi storms up to Oikawa, Feelings Are Realised ™ but not expressed. Reader realizes that Iwaizumi feels that he cannot redeem his honor until he dismantles Iwaizumi-gumi with his bare hands (figuratively) to make up for his fleeing.  - Oikawa babbles on-stream about Feelings for Hajime at some point - Matsukawa shows this to Iwaizumi, who shows it to Kunimi because he’s desperate for advice/help (He doesn’t consider himself worthy of love/being loved until he is redeemed). Kunimi takes one look at the video, stops it 5 seconds in and says ‘He likes you, we already know that.” - “How did you know???!” “Not all of us are so stubbornly blind, anijya.” Cue dilemma about how someone so brave/perfect/irritatingly handsome could love a coward like him: Kunimi “anijya you’re an idiot - anyone can see he doesnt care” “But he doesnt know-” “No anijya. We will dismantle Iwaizumi-gumi eventually, but do you want to waste that much time? Go tell him. And let me watch Haikyuu now ffs.”  - Confession and revelation probably doesn’t happen mid-fight/injury (much to my dismay because I LIVE for those kinds of scenes but alas.) Probably in a quiet manner somehow. Maaaybe the others find out in the mid-fight/injury scene.

Note
Not going to lie, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite yandere blogs, your writing is so enjoyable and the characterization is lovely! As for my request, can you do Hanzo and Mercy and Reinhardt reacting to their kidnapped S/O trying to kill themselves and after being caught screaming at the yanderes that they hate them, they hate being trapped in this house and that they rather die then stay here with you. If you aren't comfortable with this, that's perfectly okay, just let me know. 😊
Aah thank you so much for the compliment and thank you so much for asking! For future reference I am fine with writing these types of scenarios and they will be tagged accordingly!
Hanzo
-You were too quiet after you had slammed the door to your shared room after you had yelled at him. There was normally the sounds of you tossing furniture around and although that pissed him off, it also worried him that he couldn’t hear it. So with a sigh he headed upstairs to the bedroom to see what you were getting yourself into now and as he opened the door to reprimand you for yelling at him he stopped cold in his tracks. You were facing away from him but he could tell what you were doing. You had taken one of his own arrows, of all things, and were moving the tip of it across your throat as you shook and sobbed. You didn’t notice him enter the room until he ripped the arrow from your hands and spun you around to face him. You sobbed harder both with fear of what he would do and the fact that your chance to leave this hell was taken away from you. Hanzo was furious that you could be doing this to yourself...to him!
“After all I’ve fucking done for you, you repay me like this!” He’s got a tight grip on your shoulder while another is wrapped around your throat, not to choke you, but to stop the bleeding from the superficial wound that you had given yourself. Your hands had been too nervous and shaky to cut deep enough. You hiccuped and sobbed as you clutched to his robes.
“I-I can’t do this anymore Han-Hanzo, please!” You cried and shook your head slightly, “I wan-want my life back, I m-miss my fa-family so much! Ple-please don’t hurt-hurt me again, I can’t take that anymore!” You were begging now and Hanzo had to hold you up so you didn’t fall to your knees. His hard gaze softened slightly at your words. Were...were you that unhappy here with him? Unhappy enough that you would do something like this? Hanzo led you to the bathroom and you continued to sob and cough, each sharp intake of breath causing the wound to bleed more. He sat you down on the edge of the bathtub and dug out medical supplies before starting to patch up your throat. He gave you calm and sweet words about how well you were doing and that you were going to be okay and that he promised things would be different from now on.
Mercy
-Angela was lucky she was a doctor because if she wasn’t you would have been died with in moments from what you did to yourself. She couldn’t find the object you had used to cut yourself so badly all she knew was that you lost a lot of blood. After doing what she could at home, Mercy caved and brought you into her office at the base, sneaking you in so know one would ask were you came from. Now after patching you up and stabilizing you, she waited by your side for you to wake up. How could this have happened? You seemed so happy with her! Sure you cried a lot but she just chalked that up to homesickness and assumed once you got used to life with her that everything would be better and you would be your normal happy self. She blamed herself now as she waited for you to wake, how could she have not seen the signs that you were near this point? She was a doctor for gods sakes! Angela picked up one of your hands and pressed it to her mouth, taking in how pale your skin looked. She felt your fingers twitch in the palm of her hands and she looked up as you started to stir, watching you look around in hazy confusion as you tried to figure out where you were. Once you caught sight of the blonde you let out a low whine before tears started to stream down your face. No...no how could this be? You were so close! Angela reached up to your sobbing face and stroked it gently, knowing that you would need her now more than ever.
Reinhardt
-”Täubchen, perhaps we should take about thi-” the large man paused as he caught sight of you pressing one of his smaller guns into the side of your head. You didn’t try to explain away what you were doing, only looking at him with teary eyes as you sniffled. You couldn’t take this anymore. You couldn’t take the isolation, his clinginess, or how quick he was to anger and punish you. It was too much and the stress was making you weak and exhausted. “Just put the gun down...” He said slowly, moving forward into the room. This only made you take another step back and push the gun closer into your temple with a shake of your head.
“Do-don’t come any closer Reinhardt, I’ll do it...I really will,” The shakiness in your voice was not convincing in the slightest and truth be told you didn’t want to die, but if dying meant not living with him then so be it. He paused at your words but there was no way in hell he would let you just stand there was a loaded gun placed next to your temple. With a loud roar, he lunged at you, shocking you enough that you weren’t able to pull the trigger before his large hand closed around your wrist, wrenching your arm down and away from your head with enough force to almost break it. You howled in frustration and tears started to cascade down your face as he took away your chance of escape. His hand still had your arm in a vice grip until you dropped the gun to the floor with a clatter and you sobbed uncontrollably. You expected him to start yelling at you or start to squeeze your arm enough actually hard enough to make it break. But surprisingly he did none of that. Reinhardt’s grip lessened but was still firm as he led you into the kitchen and toward the sink. There he turned on the cold water and pushed your sobbing face over it as he gently began to splash the water onto your face, trying to get you too relax. You coughed and spluttered as the water hit your face but the coldness of it was allowing you to center yourself in the moment and not let your mind run amok. Your hard breathing finally slowed down and you gripped the edge of the sink for support. He was silent for a moment while he let you breathe before he spoke. “I would advise you not to give me such a scare again...I won’t be so easy on you next time.”

McHanzo Week Day 2: Canon Divergent || Alternate Universe
Alright. This is day two of that lovely, lovely McHanzo week. Both options have their pull but those who know me, know which one I will most likely go with. So, have fun reading! Also, this story is the first part of a series that will stretch over the other days of this week!
Day 1
Dark smoke rose from the destroyed shell that had once been one of Lord Talon’s many merchant ships. The great big mainmast splintered into pieces when a perfectly aimed canonball hit it and took out most of the sails with it.
“It won’t be long now until it is gone completely.” Jesse turned his head away from the wreckage. His side twinged from where a bullet had barely missed him and he knew that come the next morning his back would look like Torbjörn had taken his hammer to it. Thankfully, he didn’t feel it yet. The heat from the fight still burned brightly in his veins and drowned out anything but excitement.
“Yeah,” he nodded, grinning wolfishly at the big man beside him. Tall, broad shouldered and arms that seemed fit to choke a whale, Reinhardt was a soul as gentle as dove. “Another one for the graveyard. Did we get anythin’ interestin’ from this one at least? The last three were a bust after all. I’m startin’ ta think that they have nothin’ more of worth ta ship around.”
“Or they were a ploy to keep us away from the important ships,” Reinhardt countered thoughtfully. “Have you heard anything from Reaper recently? Maybe he managed to gather some information on his side of the ocean. Or any of the others?”
“I wouldn’t put it past them ta try and throw us off track,” Jesse huffed annoyed. “They’re learnin’. Which is nice, as it makes things a lot more interestin’. But it’s also bad because it means more work for us.” He scratched the back of his neck before stretching his arms above his head. Which wasn’t the smartest move given how his entire body seemed to protest. Beside him Reinhardt just shook his head and pulled out a piece of fabric to clean his hammer.
“Great, now I need ta see Angela,” Jesse groaned when he took his arms back down. Warm blood trickled down his side. “But later. Also, I haven’t heard from Gabe in a while. Far as I know he took the Blackwatch ta circle around Africa. Situation there seems ta be mighty tense. Ana’s still roamin’ around on the continent gatherin’ information and the last I heard from Jack he’s tryin’ ta rendevouz with Gabe.”
Reinhardt nodded and both men fell quiet for a while. The Deadeye slowly sailed back onto its original curse, leaving only a trail of black smoke behind.
“Right,” Jesse stepped away from the bulwark. He patted Reinhardt’s arm before turning to head below deck. The pain in his back increased enough to make him wish for a good swig of whiskey. “I’ll see how Angela is holding up.”
“You do that, Jesse. Just don’t be surprised if you’re not her first priority,” Reinhardt turned around as well. “I’ll be in the galley if you need me.” Then he was gone and Jesse could only stare at his back.
                                                *~*~*
Angela’s little medical area was packed with people but Jesse got the feeling that only a few of his men truly needed her help. The rest seemed to be staring at something, or rather someone, in the far corner of her little room.
“Alright gentlemen, time ta head back ta work,” Jesse’s voice echoed through the small room. Quite a few of the men ducked their head and left the room without waiting for him to sent them on their way. The only ones remaining were in need of her care. Although it looked like she already had tended to them. So he gave them a rather pointed stare that sent them running.
“You got a moment, sugar?” Jesse asked, when the room was empty. Angela stepped out from behind the blanket which served as a divider. Her shirt was bloody and a rip parted it from just below her collarbone down to the top of her breeches. It didn’t seem to faze her too much so Jesse refrained from saying anything.
“What can I do for you, Jesse?” she smiled at him and went to wash her hands in the barrel standing between her table and the wall. “Did you get hurt during the fight? I take it that it’s nothing life threatening since you haven’t come to see me right away.”
“Nah, nothin’ bad,” he grinned and sat on the chair she indicated. “Jus’ a couple of scrapes and uh, my back’s not feeling too great.”
Angela nodded and gathered some clean bandages along with a pot of that awful smelling but pain relieving paste she liked to hand out.
“Shirt off then,” she ordered with a stern expression. Jesse complied as quickly as possible because nobody with half a brain left their guardian angel waiting for too long. The quiet curse that slipped past her lips made him duck his head. His back had to look worse than it felt.
“What have you been doing? No, don’t answer that. I don’t want to know,” she grumbled. Her fingers were cold enough to make Jesse flinch. “Why do men always rush into things head first?” Despite her serious words Angela’s touch remained gentle and professional. She didn’t poke or prod his wounds like the last medic they had on board. Instead she made sure to work as clean and as painfree as possible.
Jesse grinned and opened his mouth to reply with something witty when the rustling of the blanket being pushed aside distracted him. He turned his head and froze.
“Doctor? Do you have …” the man trailed off and stared back. He was shorter than Jesse, with black hair that clung to his neck and forehead. Brown eyes widened and his lips, surrounded by a neatly trimmed beard, moved without sound. An intricate tattoo covered the man’s left arm and a part of his chest.
A tattoo that Jesse was all too familiar with. It haunted his dream for nearly a decade now.
“Han-” his voice gave out and he cleared his throat. “Hanzo? Is that- Is that really you?”
Jesse stood up, completely unaware of the fact that he knocked over Angela’s pots. His whole attention centered on the man in front of him. He reached out and found his hand trapped in a strong grip. Disbelieving eyes stared back at him.
“It can not be true,” the man breathed. “They told me that you were dead. Your ship sunk before the shore. A riff, they said. They brought me your hat.”
Jesse’s free hand went to his head. He lost his hat on that day. The memory was as clear as day in his mind. But something was wrong with it. He shook his head.
“I’m not dead, Darlin’,” he grinned, even though his eyes prickled dangerously. “Wasn’t my ship that went down that day. All that went overboard was my hat. I am still alive.” As if trying to prove it, Jesse pulled Hanzo’s hand towards his chest and placed it over his rapidly beating heart.
Hanzo stared at their hands for a long time before he took another step forward. His eyes searched Jesse’s face and he must have found it.
“You are alive,” Hanzo breathed while Jesse smiled.
“I am,” and then he simply pulled the man into his arms completely ignoring the pain radiating through his body.

Quiet Changes
So I saw this by @sessomesmaru and had to write some comfort/angst for it! Enjoy!
Those that had fallen by his hand lay scattered around him. He could see the other agents rushing around him, but he couldn’t hear anything. Reinhardt had taken up command, his usual friendly attitude replaced by one of wisdom and urgency. Zenyatta was consoling his brother a little ways away. Hanzo could make out the small movements of his brother’s shoulders that told him he was crying. By the time McCree was at his side, he could hardly feel anything. Searching for the familiar weight of Stormbow, he noticed that it had been kicked a few feet from him.
The warmth of McCree enveloped him as the cowboy wrapped him in his arms.
“It’s okay…you’re gonna be fine. Angela will be able to fix you up just fine,” McCree whispered into his hair, holding back a sob.
“Jesse…” Hanzo wheezed out, leaning into the other man’s chest.
“Hush now. You don’t need to say anything,” McCree shushed, kissing the top of his head.
“The dragons…I can’t…feel them…” Hanzo sobbed, attempting to look at his shoulder.
“You don’t need to see that. I’m here. It’s gonna be just fine. You hear me? Just…fine…” McCree replied, his voice breaking as tears began to fall from his eyes.
“It’s so quiet…and cold…” Hanzo cried. The blood on his face had long since dried, but his side continued to be covered in the warm, fresh blood from his wound.
“I know, sweetheart,” McCree whispered, holding Hanzo even tighter. Gently, he ran a hand through Hanzo’s loose hair, his ribbon laying in the mud nearby. As his vision began to blur, he saw the familiar white figure of the doctor.
“Hanzo! Stay with me!” Dr. Ziegler yelled, her voice muffled by the pain. He tried to keep his eyes open, but eventually he no longer had the strength.
The trip back to the Watchpoint was a broken mess. He would wake up for split seconds and see various medical equipment or medical support staff. The only constant thing he saw was McCree, who never left his side, holding his hand the entire trip. When he finally was fully awake, they had made it back to the Watchpoint.
“Glad to see you awake again,” Dr. Ziegler smiled, the bags under her eyes showing how tired she was.
“How…how long have I been a sleep?” Hanzo asked, looking around the small room. Trying to sit up in his bed, Hanzo caused himself to fall into the doctor.
“Woah. Easy now. You aren’t used to everything yet. You’ve only been asleep for a few days, mainly due to the amount of medication you were under when we first arrived. We can’t have anything getting infected now,” Dr. Ziegler stated, helping him sit up properly.
“Was anyone else hurt?” Hanzo asked, turning towards the door. He could not bring himself to look down. Not yet.
“Thankfully, nothing as serious as your injuries. A few bumps and bruises with the occasional bullet wound,” Dr. Ziegler replied, tapping away on the tablet she had with her.
“I see. That is good to hear,” Hanzo sighed.
“You have a guest though. It has taken all of my patience to keep him out of here,” Dr. Ziegler smiled, opening the door. The flash of red that charged in was nothing but surprising. The man hit Hanzo at full force, pushing the air out of his lungs.
“Bout time you got your sleepy ass up!” McCree smiled, only pulling away slightly.
“Yes well…I was under the influence of what sounds to be multiple medications,” Hanzo smiled back.
“Don’t you ever think about doing something like that again!” McCree scolded, touching his forehead to Hanzo’s.
“I will do my best to avoid similar situations in the future,” Hanzo chuckled, leaning into softly kiss McCree.
“I will leave you to for now, but I will be back to check up on you, Hanzo,” Dr. Ziegler waved before closing the door. Alone, the two men sat in silence.
“They already have an order made up for you…if you want a new one. I helped with some of the design features,” McCree whispered, wrapping his arms around Hanzo’s waist.
“Please…I am not…ready yet,” Hanzo replied, squeezing McCree’s arm.
“I’m sorry…just figured that you would want to start finding a way back into the field,” McCree mumbled, looking over at Hanzo’s shoulder.
“I do not think Dr. Ziegler will let me back into the field anytime soon. I think it will be best for me to…take my own time and help where I can around the Watchpoint,” Hanzo sighed.
“I know, but…I don’t trust anyone with my back more than you. I…I just want to see you back by my side again,” McCree replied, letting out a deep breath.
“McCree. My health should come first. I want to be fighting by your side, but I cannot use a bow in my…condition,” Hanzo stated, looking away from McCree.
“Your…condition? This isn’t some kind of cold or something, Han. You are…this is how you’re gonna be from now on. I want things to be as normal as possible for you. I know what you’re going through,” McCree retorted, anger tinging his voice.
“I do not think anyone can ever understand what I am going through…” Hanzo whispered.
“Hanzo…sweetheart. I love you, but you are as dumb as a sack of shit,” McCree chuckled, causing Hanzo to quickly turn his head back towards him.
“Please, enlighten me,” Hanzo glared, but the usual anger was absent.
Holding up his left hand, Jesse sighed. “Lost my arm when I was just a stupid kid. Hadn’t been a part of Blackwatch for more than a few months and I was already getting cocky in my skills. Wasn’t paying attention and got it pinned underneath some rocks. Reyes told me that we were gonna ‘127 hours this shit but faster’. I was scared shitless,” McCree smiled sadly, thinking about his fallen commander.
“I-I am sorry for what I said. I forget that you are familiar with this…” Hanzo replied, entwining his fingers with McCree’s metal.
“It’s alright. I know that you always get a little saddle sore when you get stuck in the med bay. Never been one to like sticking on the lower ground much,” McCree smiled. At his comment, Hanzo couldn’t help but let a laugh bubble out of him.
“Thank you for visiting me, McCree,” Hanzo chuckled, before leaning in for a kiss.
“You sure you don’t wanna see the design I came up with?” McCree asked, his excitement slipping into his voice.
“You seem rather proud of it, so I do not think I have a choice,” Hanzo smirked, moving over on his bed so that McCree could join him more comfortably. Pulling out a small hologram from his pocket, McCree excitedly handed the small device to Hanzo. Flicking it on, Hanzo was amazed at the details that had been put into the design.
Starting from his shoulder, the metal had been designed to continue his dragon tattoo with a few changes to accommodate the technology need so that he could continue to use a bow. The thought that had been put into the design and details of the prosthetic stunned Hanzo. Each line of detail work along the main portions of the arm made it clear why McCree had been so excited.
“I understand why you were so excited to show me this. It’s beautiful,” Hanzo smiled, wiping away a stray tear.
“I’m glad you like it, Han,” McCree smiled, kissing Hanzo’s cheek.
Slowly, Hanzo reached up to his bandaged shoulder. Running his fingers along the bandages, Hanzo took a deep breath. As his fingers reached the end of his shoulder, his breath hitched at the change in feeling under the bandages. What used to be firm muscle had now been replaced with the soft padding of gauze and bandages.
“Dr. Ziegler said that once you make a decision about the prosthetic, she’ll discuss with you when to set up the operation,” McCree stated, watching Hanzo’s hand.
“Thank you. I think it would be an honor to have an arm like the one you helped design,” Hanzo nodded, running his hand back up his bandages.
“Gonna make me blush, sug. I just like that pretty masterpiece that is a part of you,” McCree smiled.
“It is so quiet without them...” Hanzo whispered.
“I’m sure I’m loud enough to fill in for them, but I don’t think they are gone forever,” McCree replied, rubbing a hand in circles on Hanzo’s back.
“Yes. Your Southern twang and...style choices are quite loud,” Hanzo smirked, leaning back into McCree’s hand.
“You’ll make it through this and I’ll be right here with you,” McCree whispered into Hanzo’s hair.
“Thank you, Jesse,” Hanzo replied.

In this tour we will tell the amazing story of the Berlin Jewish community. A community that since modernity and the emancipation of the Jews on 1815 became one of the most infulintial jewish communities in the world. A community that reform Judaism and also in had universal scientific and spiritual advancements.
We will visit the old center of this community, the schönenvierttel and Spandau vorstatt in mitte quarter of Berlin and also see the grave of the father of liberal modern Jewish community in Germany, Moshe Mendelson, we will see the front of the big synagogue of the Jewish community that was the biggest synagogue of the world. We also visit the holocaust memorial and some other memorial form the second world war: the Rosenstrasse memorial and also the Kinder transport memorial.
We will also visit a museum that was build for the most famous Righteous among the nations- Otto weidt , a blind brush manufacture that saved Jewish people from Berlin!
 The Story of German Jewry
We have evidence for Jewish communities in Germany even from the time of the Romans, but during the middle ages we have a really significant one developing in south Germany and on the rhine river the SHUM communities , Shapira, magnaza and vermaiza. Rashi was studying their at one of the students of rabeno gershon, it was the spiritual center of the Jews in that time, but those communities were destroyed in the time of the crusades and that we see a move and immigration the east Europe.
In berlin in that time we don’t have nothing, it was a small slavic village, Only later, during the 12 and 13 century we see evidence of Jewish communities in Spandau And some other place in berlin. It was small settlements that didn’t left much evidence.
A big and substantial community in berlin, we see only after the 30 years wars (1618-1648), between Catholics and protestants , berlin was the destroyed and the prince from Brandenburg brought,  50 rich Jewish families from Vienna. and some others are coming from the east, the was the foundation of the modern magnificent community of berlin, again probably the most influential community of the world from the second half  of the 19 century till the nazi took power, significant part of the advancement of Germany in the beginning of the 20 century is because of this community.
Friedrich the great, the king of Prussia (1740-1786) that Berlin is its capital, probably the most important king of Europe at that time gives the Jews some rights, but mainly for the Jews he needed, like his treasure minister Efraim thathis luxusiurs villa still exist today in berlin.
The Jews were divided in Prussia to Courtyard Jews or patronage Jews- Jews that were essential to the economy and power of the kingdom. The others are not important to the economy and were "tolerated Jews", cantors, Rabis, Bochers and so on. The courtyard Jews were allowed to pass their rights of patronage only to one child.
Jews were not allowed to buy cattle but allowed to buy horses. Not allowed to produced Alcoholic beverages only kosher wine.
In 18 century we have almost full , at least formal emancipation at 1812, the community of berlin is starting to develop rapidly but also facing huge crises of conversion to Christianity, its pretty tolerant compare to that time and we see a development from 2000 Jews in 1743 when Mendelsohn arrived to berlin to 160,000 in 1929, most of them fully assimilated in German life, regular Germans.
but still they cannot bit the prejudice and cannot really promote themselves In the academy and others realm in society (they cannot be officers in the army). Because of the past the Jews are not holding land so there are no Jewish farmers and traditional occupations or professional hand workers, and they get the best education , thing that put them straight in the new developing bourgeois class as academy scholars , medicine doctors , lawyers, accouters and other good income positions.
In the end of the twenties, the Jews are 30 percent of noble prize winners of Germany , 40 percent of the stuff in medicine faculties,50 percent in mathematician, the Jews are only 1 percent of Germany and 4 percent of berlin 4,000,000 berlin population, the success in staggering.
the Jews are really proud German and volunteer to the combats in the first world war, 12,000 Jews died, but the war brought economical disaster on Germany and Jews are to be blamed, they were easy target,
 The demise
Than the Nazis took power and Jews were immediately ostracized, 1933  in may they  the burning of the books, 1935 the Nirenberg laws, some of them you can still on signs as evidence in Bavarian Jewish quarter. 1938 the night of the broken glass where most of berlin Synagogues are burned, and ofcourse later the total demise of the 560, 000 community of Germany and of Berlin 160,000, after the war we have few thousands in Berlin, we have first official Minyans , two months after the end of the war.

          Kinder transport
After the night of broken glass, its pretty understood there is no place for jewish life in Germany, haim weizman that was connected to british govermant and with Herbert Samuel try to arrange a reception of Jews in Israel, but this is not possiable, Israel is in turmoil because of the Arab rebellion, the British don’t want to change the delicate balance.
Eventually they manged to coordinate a reception of 12000 kidss inEngland by foster families, they negotiate with the Gestapo, and the Gestapo approach the Jewish community and they arrange the list, kids where sent from Vienna, berlin, Danzig and other places ,
The first one was leaving berlin only 3 weeks after the night of the broken glass, 1 December 196 kids from an Orpahnge that was destroyed by the Nazi, the last is in September 1940 from Germany.
All the kids arrive to foster families, some to institues and other to Families that took advantage of them as servants, most of them didn’t really realized that their parents are saving there life and felt abounded
They had to be under 17 ,1000 of them even join the British army and fought later against the Nazis.
In 1989 , an association was opened for the kinder transport, this association deals with connection between those kids and charity activity.
Today there are memorial in 5 place- where the kids sent from: Berlin, viena , praug and Danzig, and where they went trough the port of Roterdam and where they arrive to Manchster station in London
            Rosen strasse demonstration
the Gestapo goes to last operation to arrest Jews, and he arrests Jews that were married to Arian women, they worked in the war industry in Germany, there women come here and start to demonstrate, 98 percent of the Jews who survived in Germany were Jews that there wife stick to them, divorce or death of the women means deportation.
This happen after Stalingrad battle, the defeat of the German is devastating, and they really afraid of civil resistance in the Germany, we have students in febuary distribute flyers against the Nazis , and the atmosphere is very fragile in Germany.
In February the Gestapo is gathering 1800 Jewish man in Rossen strasse in a  building that was Jewish center for social welfare and now used by the Gestapo, the aim was not clear as it was to send them to the concentration camps or transport them elsewhere.
The woman are starting to gather in the place slowly slowly and demand to release their husbands. The demonstration is getting bigger and bigger eventually we talking around few thousands of people demonstrating to release the people in the house, machine guns were pointed toward the women in a certain stage , but they insist and shout to the Gestapo : murders!! Murders!!,  eventually the Jews were released even 19 were brought back , there were in their way to Auschwitz,  this protest was a bit different from the other Nazi resistance because it couldn't be defined as a betrayal , but something from the heart.
Gaboles mentioned this event in his diary , in may he declare berlin as jewish free, while ignoring the 1800 man.
The memorial was done by Ingburg Anzinger , east german artist, the statue called "the women block" was put there in 1995
"the power of the civil resistance, the firmness of love won the violence of the dictatorship"   bring us our husbands back , women stood here defeating death, Jewish men "realsed".

We said we have development of Jewish community in berlin after the 30 years war, we have another concentration of Jews in other parts in the city, there are all over the place, but here were the first concentration, 30,000 in this place and surroundings streets , Geiger, mendelson , and regina yones lives here , in the time of communism this was totally abounded , and than the wall fell some of the building were abounded ,than came the hipis and after came the students! And than came the yapis, this is today totally renovated and used as a center of yapi shops, theather and some other things. but soon we will see a yard that was left like time has stopped, this is the biggest closed yard area in germany
Jews work in workshops and in basements, the poor from the back and the reach in the front!
In all the area  function welfare institutes in a high level- old people house , soup kitchen and hostel , that supported new Jewish immigrants that fled the pogroms in pale of settlement in Russia, 2 milion Jew leave this area small part come to germanys (ost juden) , in the area almost 300 hunderts instituations
Swarrzburger yard
The passions the book ignites suggest that everyone owns Anne Frank, that she has risen above the Holocaust, Judaism, girlhood and even goodness and become a totemic figure of the modern world—the moral individual mind beset by the machinery of destruction, insisting on the right to live and question and hope for the future of human beings

there some really interesting stories around the otto weidet workshop  like Hedwig purshutz she was a hore that was occupied as a machsenait by he workshop and hide few jews at her place like the sister Bernstein,  know she was arrested by the gesstapo in the charge of collecting food, and hold 18 maonth in custody since October 1944

Otto weidt going there and find a polish worker to send her a meassage, by the help of a polish worker, he left her cloths, money and medicine, alis licht manage to escape while the Russian are approaching and german disassemble the camp, she manage to arrive back to berlin and spend the time in otto weidt apprtment, she leave to America in 1946

12,000 buried here , in 1672 was opened , 1827 was closed
The memeorial for the victim of barbarian fascism, will lamert
To add some information on the cemetery,
Mendelson come form dasue (how may kilometer by foot), he was sent by his rabi because he was a gifted child, this guy is the prophet of enlightment , Immanuel kant his friend, his translate the bible to german, the seonced after martin luther, write commentary to the tora, his ideas and influence start a process that will revoltionze jewish thinking and life,  putiing some enlightment ideas into juadism, reformation, conversation , conservatism and neo orthodoxy. He was a descent of rabi iserlish, some called him the german Socrates, german princes wanted to mit him, because of him the german jews got read of the Yiddish and started to speak german, some called him the third moses, his ides will influence later  freud , marx, and even Zionism,
The german used to celebrate ghote and schiller birthdays, so the jews celebrated his, my good friend in berlin, her grant grant ma had one of the first handy camera here in berlin and she took a photo of Einstein and leo beck in a celebration in 1929 of 200 years birthday for mendelson,
His most known saying is "be jew in your house and german in public"
A very know thing about him also is the fact that most of his descented were converting to Christianity in the 19 century (4 of six sons from 9 grandchildren only one left jewish), the german so respect him that some say that even the nazi don’t touch his grave stone
His glases can still found in the jewish museum,
 The jewish school
Orginialy established in roshentaler 1826, 1863 come here and later they jin also school of girls to it (1931), 1905 they build the new building , 30 juni in 1942 was closed
40 percent non jews , 450 kids , there is kosher  food, and compulsory clases in hebraw and juadism ,
 The big synagouge
This is the way renesanse is look like,Bismark and the emperors are here when they open the synagogue, 1867, he is built in Morri style, its hasmotives from alahambra place in spain, it was started by knoublouch and than stuler , one of the most splendid bulding in berlin, its length is 328 feet, witdh is 170 , it had 3200 seats , was the biggest synagogue in the world
The liberals and the orthodox had common prayer, but eventuall they fought over the pipe orgel, and this causing resignation of the rabi of berlin andquitting the synagogue, therabbi of the synagogue was Geiger the leader of the reform movement, einstein play on a vioien in a concert in 1930
Is has the biggest orgel in the state
In the night of the broken glass , an police officer- otto belgardt  protect it in the name of the law in the claim this is a preservation site with a wielded gun, he calls the firarms and they turned the fire only with a partial minor damge , eventually the Nazis close it on 1940 and later it was destroyed in the bombings 1943, 1988 restoration starts , they rebuilt the dome, by the way in 1939 all the domes in berlin are being paited in black, so it wil be harder for airplaine to see them, and here they actually did in rosh hashan
Only in 1993 his front is being renovated,
Inside the synagogue,  museum about the jewish community of berlin, small praying room, they a minyan only on Saturday of "kehilat shalom" , conservative community, and a room about the isareli- Germany relations,
This sysnagouge is also symbolosing the big division  in juadism , the entlightment comes and shake juadism, its just not relavant to the new secolar age of enlightment, we have three new emerging powers, the reforms as a reaction we have the neo orthodox and as a settlement in between we have the conservatives
Geieger is doing the unbelvible , he change the prayers , in reform communities they combine church music, and pray in german, he give up on Zionism and left the messianic hope as hope of redemption of all human kind, he alsomestablish the academy for jewish seince
Eventually we have one third of jewish going to christianty , and only 15 percent prthodox form the german jewry
the refprm movement change the prayers, they start to pray in german. The hope of building the temple soon and the ressurection of the dead , and the diaspora ending were removed , during the 19 century and the first half of the 20 century the liberals commu8nities in europe and ameika produce more than 50 different version of pray books, some has anna frank diary in there books Riv haechal
Hildsheimer establish the first rabbinic orthodox seminer,
a jewish hospital in the entrance to the street and the first jewish museum in the entrance of the synangouge

   Girls school
the school was built in Mitte 1835 and than moves here. Alexander Beer built it, was very known architect in Berlin. He built in the new objectivity style that prefer functionality over aesthetics. You see its not very aesthetic building.
It had 14 classes, a sport hall and roof garden were the girls can hung out in the breaks. They were studying Hebrew and art.
The Nazi in 1935 passed a law that reduced the amount of Jewish children in public school so this place was stuffed with girls from 400 in the begging 1000 girls.
In 1942 they close it, most of the girls that studied here found there death in Auschwitz. Than the German used it as a hospital.
After the war it was in east Germany territory and was called Brecht school for technical studies (Brecht was one of the biggest Nazi opponents and one of the most important play writer) today there is galleries and Kenndi museums (a big hero in Berlin after his famous speech in rat haus schonenberg).
  Hosptial
1756 built , the stuff and patients  were Jewish and non Jewish, 1856 it moved here, 200 beds it was the only place in Berlin were Jewish allowed to continue practicing medicine.
1941 there is 1000 people inside, patients and workers , Herman Straus, 70 is the manager, he was sent to Teresinstadt and murdered , Walter Lusitg is replacing him, he was a protected Jew because of his Wife.
He has big Dilemmas , the patients were exempt from deportation because of their health situation , if they get better, they could be sent, so patients were intentionally not getting the right treatment. Lustig also saved few dozens of Babies that is was not clear if there father was a Jew or Arian.
In the “fabrikaktion” in Febuar they want to clear also the hospital , Lustig is doing great effort to save the Jews, but eventually in Mai he is asked to choose 300 to be sent to Aushwitz, he is making the tough decision, knowing that not cooperating with the Nazi government will cause the total shut down of the hospital. Eventually, the hospital became the only place in Berlin were hundreds of Jewish people were known and officially approved not to be sent to the camps. After the end of the war, Lustig was identify as somebody that cooperated with the Nazis and was shot dead by the Russians.
Today the hospital is still active with 363 beds, with Scholl for nurses, psychiatric department and neurological research.
  Ahava Orphange
A Jewish orphanage, 120 kids lived here under the supervision of uber-swester, the nurse in charge ,the very charismatic Bieta Berger.
A movie from 2007 is depicting the story, 2  Israelis men that were kids in the institute, come in there elderly. They tell on their experiences as Berlin kids under the Hitler regime.
Berger wanted to protect the kids of what is happening outside. She understands very quickly that the children don’t have a future in Germany. She decide to move all the institution to Palestine.
She looks for money to get the visas and sponsor  the move. Max Liberman and another famous painter in Berlin - Herman Shtruk are willing to conduct public auction of their painting to collect money for this cause.  She sets with 30,000 mark in 1934 to Israel, the British mandate offices are making her problems with the visaa, in the beginning they approve only 30 children, they have to be over 15 years old. She has a dilemma because she cannot bring everybody.
she is in contact with Henrietta Sold form the youth immigration Zionist movement and she is planning to reestablish Ahava in Haifa and than bring the rest of the kids. April 1934, after Pesach Seder in the orphanage, very symbolic, 35 kids leave to Pallastina.  She promised everybody that next year they will celebrate in Israel. The kids leave trough Anhalter bahnhof, and in the movie they describe  Hora dancing and singing “heveno shalom Aleichem” , while the SA soldiers in the station shout , “Juden get nach palestina” or “auf nach Jerusalem und nicht mehr zuruck”
And sing “wenn's Judenblut vom Messer spritzt, dann gehts nochmal so gut“!
They go straight to Triast in Italy and from there with a jewish sheep straight to Haifa.
Biata berger return 5 times to berlin, to get more people eventually she bring 100 kids from here, but also 200 more from other orphange in europe , in 1940 , ahava in haifa ha already has 300 kids from europe!
But Biata Berger couldn’t stand the pressure and died from heart dieses few months after the last group arrive to Ahava in Haifa
The place became a house of the nazi youth movement, the few dozens of kids under 14 years old that were left behind were sent to Aushwitz.
Ahave house is still active in Kiryat bialik near haifa, and has 170 kids , orphanage and from problematic families .

The synagogue was 1770 square meter, 96 long, 30 meter high and 40 meter wide, it was huge and magnificent, it was a show off of the Jewish community, thing of course the anti-Semite didn’t like and saw as provocation.
Just in the adjacent building was the Jewish archive, it was taken by the Nazis and combined into the genolgy department of the Nazi party head by kurt shumacher and was used to collect information and prove jewish routes of different people, racial science.
The jewish museum was also In that building and its basement became the most terrible prison facility in Berlin, they say that the prisoner couldn’t stand because the ceiling was too low and couldn’t seat because the floor was to narrow.
Read about teresinstatt- they tole a city that was surrounded with a wall called tersin and turn to geto for germans and chech jews, people with iron cross and some jews with high social status where sent there. They had a big library with 60000 books, they closed part of the getho renovated it and let the red cross visit it. They even staged a propaganda movie named “der fuhrer schnket den juden eine stadt” but the file was not finished by Garon a very famous director who played with marlin Ditrich!
