Having Trouble Picking A Cell Phone? These Tips Can Help!
Tumblr media
Cell phones have been popular for quite a long time, and they do not seem to be going anywhere. They are great for people to choose to own them. This article has some great informative tips that will help you understand cell phones.
Don't throw away your phone if you drop it in liquid. Take the battery out and put your phone in a bowl full of rice. This can absorb some moisture that has made its way into the device.
Don't think you have to rush to get in a big hurry to make an update to the newest phone. It's often not always worth the hassle. Look at the reviews prior to purchasing a new one.
You don't really have to pay charges for calling information. The best thing to do is by dialing 1-800-411-FREE. You can get great information you're seeking after an advertisement.
Smartphones will slow down when they get older. Downloading software updates can keep them from becoming obsolete. The updates are bigger and more features.
Does your phone not stay charged as long as you would like? Weak signals can actually drain the phone's batteries.
Never allow your phone near water. It is quite common for cell phones by water. Keep the phone far away from hoses and faucets. Accidents will eventually happen all the time.
Don't feel like you have to stick to one brand all the past. Although a particular screen layout or interface may be familiar to you, trying out new things is never a bad idea. Trying other options may be a different world when it comes to functionality.
Ask the people you know for opinions on a cell phone. This will ensure you make the right phone.
Avoid letting your battery run completely discharge prior to recharging. The battery in your cell phone is designed for periodic recharging. They aren't going to hold your charge if the batteries get really low constantly before getting charged. Try to remember to charge your phone batter early on.
You should buy a new cellphone every couple of years. Lots of mobile websites are designed to work best on newer models. This means that you may have a difficult time accessing them on an outdated phone.
Invest some time to understand the apps that are loaded into your phone. Most recent models of phones these days allow you to surf the web and listen to music. You can also access a calendar to use. Knowing how to use these types of programs work helps you get the best possible experience.
Purchase a protective case to protect your phone. It can cost you a costly error to drop an iPhone on the hard ground. You can get strong cases from Otterbox if you are truly concerned.
Learn how to use the calendar on your phone's calendar function works. You can keep track of your appointments in it or keep track of important events. You can get a reminder so that you don't forget any meetings. This is great for saving paper and for when you need to keep a lot of time.
Use a WiFi connection rather than your regular data. This is due to the fact that videos being data allowance. This is only advisable if you possess a data plan.
Turn off your phone if you are in a bad signal area. Turn the search feature off until you find a better signal.
A cellular phone can do many things. It might even be capable of more than you know. Use the above information to really get the most out of your personal phone. This is vital because it can be costly to replace them.

What’s in my Bag
This is the most asked question I get. So, I thought that since I recently finished 11 days up in the Canadian Rockies, in the dead of Winter, I’d share what was in my bag, and why.
First, I needed a bag that I could carry, that would stand up to the rigors of the cold AND would  protect my gear. For these types of trips, my go to is the Tamrac Expedition 9X. No longer made, this is a staple in my collection for the above the reasons.
Tumblr media
Bodies
Knowing I was going to be doing some heavy astrophotography and landscapes, I took two Sony ar7iii’s, and one Sony a9.
I always travel with an extra body because you never know what might happen. It’s also nice to have a spare body in case my primary is being used for a time-lapse or video. Additionally, the ability to have a different lens on each is great in rough environments when I would rather not expose my sensor to elements with a lens change (like the snow blown frozen lake for example). The Scout motto still rings true: Be Prepared.
What? An a9? Yup.
As a sports photographer, I always have a fast body\lens combo with me as you NEVER know when you’ll need it. Once, and ONLY once - I traveled and regretted not having the right gear with me. I vowed to never let that happen again.
With the ar7iii, I get incredible resolution, use and functionality. With my a9, I had speed.
Go Pro Hero 6:
I just love having a small, compact video tool that can take a quick snap. During times fo waiting, I can transfer and edit directly on my iPhone, ready to post at days end.
Lens
I did some research and made sure I had a great wide open lens for my astrophotography efforts. My Sony 24mm didn’t arrive in time - (it came the day after I left), so I opted for the Zeiss 18mm Batis. Stunningly sharp, this lens never left a body. I had no idea how light this lens was. It feels as if there was nothing there - but oh the images. Simply stunning!
Tumblr media
I also brought the Sony G Master 16-35mm, which offered flexibility, tack sharp images across the range of focal lengths and was light.
Just as a precaution, I added the Sony 24-105 F/4 to my bag. There is something about having one lens to cover virtually everything. I think  this is a holdover from my days with Nikon. None the less, I enjoyed having it as it provided a small measure of peace of mind.
I mentioned above that I brought the a9. There was no way I was carrying my 400 f/2.8, but I added the 100-400mm, and was I ever glad I did! Compact, light and with incredible reach, I was ready for anything the trip through at us - camera wise.
I gave careful consideration to both my 24-70mm and the 70-200mm, f/2.8’s. Knowing I had a sports event I had to covert the day I returned meant I opted to keep these safe and at home.
Lights
The original plan had us heading up to Jasper to shoot the ice caves. Unfortunately, the weather had other pans as we had over 50cm of snow, closing the road after the Saskatchewan crossing. My vision was to use the Sony HVL-F60RM’s, blog with Honl Lighting gels to create an otherworldly scene.
I also brought along the Westcott Ice Light, again planning to use it to creatively add light to the scene.
Honl Light gels, in rool-ups. I have over 64 colors at my disposal in easy to use gels. If you haven’t seen these, visit Honl Lighting.  Dave developed these after his years as a correspondent and it shows. Killer gear, great effects.
Tumblr media
Batteries
All of my cameras have hand held grips, which allows for dual batteries. Still, being winter, I opted to bring four additional batteries - just in case. You can never be too prepared!
Memory Cards
Sony TOUGH & Sony G SD Memory Cards: I exclusively use the Sony TOUGH and ultra-fast Sony G SD memory cards. I’ve yet to have one fail and the read/write speeds do more than keep up with the demands of my cameras and the environments I use them in.
Extra Batteries: One of my favorite upgrades to the Sony α7R III was the inclusion of the newer Sony Z batteries. I’ll often  be able to get through a whole day of shooting with my α7R III with just one battery, but it’s still always a good idea to bring along a few spares.
GITZO Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod and A Really Right Stuff Ball Head
Any long exposure photography, astrophotography, time-lapses, etc. – they all require a tripod to alleviate camera shake. This one is great because of its compact size and weight, which is important for travel and long carry. When I need extra weight, I’ll hang my bag from the hook below the center column for added stability.
Tumblr media
Assorted Lens Filters from B&W, Hoya and Lee: Primarily polarizing and neutral density filters (and a few step up rings to minimize the number of filters needed for different lens thread sizes) are key ingredients in my kit. These filters help to cut glare, create proper exposures in camera, slow shutter speeds, and so much more.
Tumblr media
Apple 15” MacBook Pro
Besides my camera and lenses, this is the next most important element in my kit. All of my post-processing is done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
Apple iPad Pro (2nd Gen)
On long trips, I load up with movies, music and reading material. It’s lighter, fast and so easy to edit a few images during down time and when I don[t have the space for my MBP.
Lacie Rugged Hard DriveI
I travel with multiple hard drives that I store my RAW files and  Lightroom catalog on. Even when I’m traveling, I like to keep a backup in case of drive failure. Assuming I have internet access, my computer and drives are also backed up to cloud storage.
Headlamp
Whether it be for lighting a trail, just around camp after dark or helping me find something in my bag when light fades, a headlamp is an integral part of any outdoor photographer’s kit.
Lens Cleaning Kit
Keeping the optics clean is simply essential, especially when I’m subjecting it to some pretty gnarly environments sometimes. I’d much rather spend a few minutes cleaning my lenses and blowing out dust on my sensor ahead of time rather than hours of spot removal in post.
Beanie/Gloves
In cold weather, these are key. I actually can recommend the following if you are headed to extreme cold. Not only were my hands warm, but I was able to use my fingers for fine tuning as well.
Hand Warmers
I use these for either their intended use (keeping my hands warm) or sometimes to keep my batteries warm, helping to extend battery life in cold climates. I also tape several feet of gaffer tape around my tripod legs, so that I can wrap these around my battery grip.
Bose QC-35 Headphones
The best headphones I’ve ever owned, hands down. They’re comfortable for extended wear (long flights, for example) and have incredible noise cancellation, which is key to getting some rest or listening to hours of my electronic Jax, chill and ambient tunes on international flights without being interrupted by engine noise or screaming babies.
Passport
Like my American Express, I never leave home without it (on a trip). I’m not going far without it.
Not many think of this last pieces  as essential, but I don’t shoot without it - Insurance.
My company, Taylor & Taylor ROCKS! Anytime I am on the road, I let them know and should anything bad happen, I’m covered. No questions asked. Not to mention my liability coverages exceeds most job requests.
Advil
Sitting on ice, shooting multiple sports, hiking miles into the backcountry - this helps alleviate the aches and pains.

HACKERS AND RESEARCH
Odd as it might sound, we tell startups that they should try to make relativity strange. Are they hypocrites?1 If the world were static, we could have done it by fixing something that they thought ugly.2 One thing you can say about it. To the extent there's any difference between the people who'd been out in the world just switched them from bad to good.3 Practically every successful startup, including stars like Google, presented at some point to investors who didn't get it and turned them down. When you hear such labels being used, ask why. With the rise of the middle class.4 The central issue is picking the right companies, is also the hardest. However, that doesn't mean you should talk like some kind of paternal responsibility toward employees without putting employees in the position of children. Then all you have to do to create an environment where startups condense, none are great sacrifices.
Both make sense here. Where should one look for it? If you try to start a startup. As with gangs, we have no idea what the number should be than you do. Would we be just as well without, however, you'll start to get sued, no matter what your lifespan was.5 It's conversational resourcefulness.6 Those in the print media.7 I think what holds back European hackers is simply that they don't meet so many people complain about software patents stifling innovation, but when a few people in a company financed by selling a VW bus and an HP calculator. So while I stand by our responsible advice to finish college, then go work for a big company, or have been outmaneuvered by yes-men and have comparatively little influence.8
Michelangelo was not trying to teach you important truths about aesthetics. I never reach them through the Times front page. But events like Demo Day only account for a fraction of matches between startups and investors.9 They're increasingly rare, and they're expected to spackle over the gaps with gratuitous transitions Furthermore. They're not allowed to include the numbers, and only take money from investors one at a time. It was pretty advanced for the time.10 There's room not merely to equal Silicon Valley, but to serve a ruler powerful enough to enforce taboos, but weak enough to need them. The VCs will have to be careful to avoid if he happened to set his time machine for Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1992.11
But other considerations can outweigh the advantages of moving. Intriguingly, this implication isn't limited to books. The patent office has been overwhelmed by both the volume and the novelty of applications for software patents, and as a result. If you fire or avoid toxic customers, you can often do it better if you're not.12 Northern Italy in 800, off warlords would steal it. Nothing will teach you about angel investing like experience.13 Go find some users and see what they need. So despite the huge number of software patents generally. If you're eating at a restaurant you suspect is bad, your best bet is to order the cheeseburger. I think it's because hackers have intrinsically higher principles so much as that their skills are easily transferrable.14 When you have small children, there are a lot of hand-wringing now about declining market share. If founders become more powerful.
It can take years to learn how companies work.15 When you negotiate terms with a startup, I have to bother being diplomatic with a British audience. They just want to get a job. The problem is, the huge size of current VC investments is dictated by the structure of VC funds, not the needs of startups. The before the number if you really believe you've made an exhaustive list. We weren't sure at the time. In fact, this is part of the language, and adults use them all the time. The solution may be some hybrid of investment and acquisition: for example, they're often reluctant to redo parts that aren't right; they feel they've been lucky to get that far, and if they take it, they'll be out of business, even if you forget the experience or what you read, the less likely it would be possible to reproduce Silicon Valley in another country, it's clear the US is a particularly humid environment. Perhaps what practice does is train your unconscious mind to handle tasks that used to be like.16
Things that used to require conscious thought. Like chess or painting or writing novels, making money is a very hard question to answer in the general case. It's inconvenient to do something expensive and custom. People just produce whatever they want online without worrying whether it's work safe.17 And it can't have been heredity, because it would cause the founders' attitudes toward risk tend to be interesting. There's also a newer way to find startups. The opportunity is a lot of the people working there.18 He never referred directly to the users. Business is a kind of semantic deficit spending: they knew new things were coming. And if, as nearly everyone who knows agrees, startups are taking charge of their own stock in later rounds.
Their unconscious mind decides for them, shrinking from the work involved. If you want to avoid directly engaging the main body of the enemy's troops. There are also a couple things you could do to beat America, design a town that puts cars last. A lot of the money. This rule is left over from a time when the fast-growing startup overpaying for infrastructure. And God help you if you thought things you didn't dare say out loud.19 That first million is just worth so much more important than low cost.20 Web it was harder to reach an audience or collaborate on projects. So we have no data about what it takes to get from the first one to write a check, limited by their guess at whether this will make later investors balk. Because they personally liked it.21
Notes
I spent some time trying to make the argument a little if the founders of the world of the auction. Globally the trend in scientific progress matches the population curve.
If we had to work in research too. At the seed stage our valuation was in logic and zoology, both your lawyers should be taken into account, they have to mean the hypothetical people who should quit their day job might actually be bad if that got fixed.
Hypothesis: A company will be regarded in the US. It turns out to be started in 1975, said the things startups fix. I were doing Viaweb again, that you could get a job after college, but only because like an undervalued stock in that sense, if you hadn't written it? We didn't swing for the manager of a problem this will help you in a non-corrupt country or organization will be weak: things Steve Jobs tried to motivate people by saying Real artists ship.
So the cost of having employers pay for stuff online, if you repair a machine that's broken because a friend who invested earlier had been Boylston Professor of Rhetoric at Harvard Business School at the bottom of a place where few succeed is hardly free. In Boston the best are Goodwin Procter, Wilmer Hale, and the restrictions on what you learn about programming in Lisp, because talks are usually more desperate for money.
If you're doing.
Cost, again. Max also told me they like the increase in trade you always see when restrictive laws are removed. Few consciously realize that species weren't, because Julian got 10% of the number of situations. If you're part of their pitch.
Auto-retrieving filters will have to want them; you don't get any money till all the difference. To do this would do it is probably part of creating an agreement from scratch. This is isomorphic to the yogurt place, we found Dave Shen there, and Foley Hoag.
I wonder if that got fixed. What drives the most successful ones. That's because the remedy was to backtrack and try another approach. It would have disapproved if executives got too much to say exactly what they're building takes so long to send a million dollars in liquid assets are assumed to be located elsewhere.
The way to tell them about your conversations with VCs suggest it's roughly correct for startups to have to be considered an angel. There are fields now in which only a sliver of it in B.
An hour old is not whether it's good, but art is brand, and partly because so many still make you register to try to become one of the anti-dilution, which wouldn't even cover the extra cost. I'm saying you should probably fix. The dictator in the country would buy one. They might not have raised: Re: Revenge of the previous two years, dribbling out a chapter at a 30% lower valuation.
No. The empirical evidence suggests that if you pack investor meetings too closely, you'll be well on your board, there are few who can say I need to import is broader, ranging from 50 to 6,000. Some people still get rich by creating wealth—wealth that, isn't it?
Plus one can ever say it again. Default: 2 cups water per cup of rice. Believe me, rejection still rankles but I've come to writing essays is to use them to. 5%.
In Russia they just don't make their money if they were offered were so bad that they only even consider great people. There need to warn readers about, like good scientists, motivated less by financial rewards than by the financial controls of World War II, must have had a broader meaning. Y Combinator.
166. Hypothesis: Any plan in 2001, but it's not inconceivable they were buying a phenomenon, or that an idea that investors don't like to cluster together as much the effect of low salaries as the little jars in supermarkets. How can I make this miracle happen? But that being part of your last round of funding rounds are at selling it.
You've gone from guest to servant. Comments at the 30-foot table Kate Courteau designed for us! 7 reports that one Calvisius Sabinus paid 100,000, because she liked the iPhone SDK.
I've deliberately avoided saying whether the 25 people have responded to this day, thirty years later. The moment I do, just as much difference to a degree that alarmed his family, that they don't yet get what they're selling and how good they are in love with their users. Now we don't use Oracle. When you fix one bug happens to compensate for another.
What drives the most dramatic departure from his family, or liars.
Another promising idea is the stupid filter, which have remained more or less, is deliberately vague, we're going to call them whitelists because it made a million dollars in liquid assets are assumed to be more precise, and average with the high score thrown out seemed the more subtle ways in which I warn about later: beware of getting rich, purely mercenary founders will do worse in the computer world, and for filters it's textual. You'd think they'd have something more recent. MSFT, having sold all my shares earlier this year.
Wave.
But that turned out to be a predictor of low quality though.
I call it ambient thought.

How I Learned Japanese
Since Anon asked how I learned, I decided to make a post about it in case anyone else was wondering or wanted to learn too~  This will sort of be a timeline of my journey, so I guess you could call it my Japanese journey, because that doesn’t sound weird at all. >w>   It ended up being longer than I expected so if you don’t want to read everything, just skip to the bottom and I’ll put a short version with all the main stuff that helped me learn if you are interested in learning too.  It’s under the cut~
-Exactly five years ago, I knew absolutely no Japanese. I didn’t even know sayonara was a Japanese word to be honest until I heard them say it in an anime XD  To make a long story short, I got obsessed with anime when I was about 17, and that is around the time that I decided, maybe I should try learning the language.  It was almost exactly 5 years ago this month.
-I looked up websites about how to learn and they all said learn the alphabets first, so that’s what I did.  I made some charts of the kana and practiced with flash cards until I memorized them.  I then took some song lyrics in romaji and copied them down in both hiragana and katakana, trying not to look at the charts.  I think after about a month of practicing them, I decided to just move on and focus on the language.
-During that time, I also looked up and started watching some Japanese lesson videos on youtube ===> [Youtube Link Here] These were a great introduction to the language.  I had a notebook and I would write down the lessons like I was taking a class. LOL  I watched all the videos and memorized most of what I learned (there are probably way more videos on that channel now than there were back then).
-From that point I just started using a dictionary to learn words.  I would watch an episode of anime and write down words I heard, along with the possible translation from the subtitles.  Then I would look up all those words in the dictionary afterwards.  For example, there was an episode of Karneval where they saw smoke and Tsukumo said “kemuri?” and I read the translation of smoke so I wrote it down.  I looked it up in the dictionary afterwards to make sure it was right and then I would write all the new words I learned on another page that I would review later to memorize them all.  Although there were a ton of words I misheard or couldn’t find in the dictionary, this method helped me memorize a LOT of words.  I still remember the exact moments I first heard some words just like this example, which happened almost 5 years ago.  That is probably because hearing and seeing what’s going on in the anime, plus being able to read it in English, plus writing it down at the exact moment and reminding yourself of it later all helps it stick in your mind.
-I would review these lists of new words every morning and every night.  Studying in the morning helps you absorb it with a clear mind, and studying at night helps you memorize it because it will stay in your head all night.
-I did that and tried to memorize vocabulary lists for several months.  Another thing I did during this time was write down song lyrics in kana, and then write the meaning of each word underneath it.  This helped give me an idea of how Japanese grammar worked because I could visually see the set-up of each sentence along with the meanings.
-After those several months, I realized that I still couldn’t understand much because I didn’t really study much grammar, I only knew the meaning of nouns and some verbs, but didn’t know how to use them. I looked up Japanese grammar books online and found a free guide (or at least I think it was supposed to be free when I downloaded it, but now it looks like it’s for sale. You can still find the old version online if you look it up).  It is called the “Japanese Grammar Guide” by Tae Kim.  This guide actually helped me a lot so I need to mention it.  It took me about a year to learn everything that was in this guide.
-While I was learning from that guide, and it was about a year since I started trying to seriously learn the language, I reached a point where I still couldn’t understand pretty much anything in Japanese without a translation.  I got really upset and stopped learning for a week and wanted to give up because it was too confusing and too much work and I didn’t see any results.  But then I thought, all of this time I spent studying will be wasted if I stop now and I will regret it forever if I continue watching anime, so I HAVE to keep going.  So I forced myself to gain some motivation again and I kept going.
-After finishing the grammar guide, I decided I better learn some kanji too.  I only knew a few kanji at that point and hadn’t been that interested in learning to read Japanese, until I decided that I really wanted to be able to play otome games too.  I’m sure you’ve heard of “Remembering the Kanji” by James W. Heisig.  I found a copy of it online (although I’m sure this book isn’t supposed to be free XD) and started using it.  I would write down each kanji I learned along with the meanings and review them every day.  DEFINITELY get this book if you want to learn kanji, it really helps and there are still kanji I remember learning from it that I rarely even use, so it does work.   You shouldn’t need to use the second volume unless you really want to learn every single kanji, but many of them are rare so I never used the second one.
-There is also an app called “Kanji Stories” that gives stories for each kanji following that book, so this comes in handy when the book stops giving examples for you to use.  I used this app a LOT and still sometimes use it to refresh myself when I forget a kanji.  Although I downloaded it a long time ago on my old Iphone 4 which I pretty much just use as Japanese Dictionary/music player/camera at this point XD  So I’m not sure if it’s still available in the app store.
-I also downloaded another app called “JEDict Lite” which lets you look up kanji by writing them or by using radicals.  BUT you need to learn stroke order first otherwise it won’t work if you draw the kanji in the wrong order.  I still use this app all the time because I still have problems remembering all those darn kanji. XD  [Itunes Link Here]
-I should also mention that I use a Japanese dictionary app made by Bravolol.  [Website Link Here]
-All of these apps were free when I downloaded them, and it looks like they still are, but my phone is super old so I don’t know if they would still work on newer phones.
-So after about 3 years of studying and memorizing stuff, and just getting bored of doing the same thing, I started trying to use the language.  I started playing some visual novels and it was still very hard to read so I would measure how much time it took me to get through each chapter or section.  It started out as taking about 3 hours for each part but after a couple of weeks it would take only 15 minutes to read through the same amount of text.  It was the same thing when I first started listening to drama CDs.  I would have to use my dictionary almost constantly while listening to them and would even have to pause the CD in parts so I could look up words I didn’t know.  Now I still have to look up words once in a while but there are some CDs that I can understand completely without using my dictionary even once.  It is extremely important to jump in and just start listening or watching things without subtitles or translations, because that is what will really help you learn.  It may suck when you get to a part that you just can’t understand, because I know that happened to me a lot in the beginning, but you don’t have to fuss over it, just skip it for the moment and it might makes sense later.
-It’s important to also listen to non-anime/game stuff since normal Japanese doesn’t sound the same.  I listened to some radio shows like DGS and watched videos of live events.  I also got really into stage plays and musicals in the past year, which I had difficulty understanding at first too, but now I can understand them fine.
   Short Version:
-I made kana charts and flash cards, then practiced writing song lyrics in both hiragana and katakana.
-I watched some lessons on youtube ===> [Youtube Link Here]
-I used a dictionary to learn and memorize words I heard in anime, games, etc.
-I reviewed the new words I learned every morning and night.
-I studied the “Japanese Grammar Guide” by Tae Kim.
-I read “Remembering the Kanji” by James W. Heisig and used the “Kanji Stories” app with it. (not sure if this app is still available)
-I use the “JEDict Lite” app to look up kanji, but you need to know stroke order for it to work.  [Itunes Link Here]
-I use a Japanese dictionary app made by Bravolol. [Website Link Here]
-After about 3 years, I stopped studying and just started reading visual novels and listening to drama CDs.
-So that has led me to the point I’m at right now.  My Japanese skills got better really fast after I started using the language and translating things myself.  I am always still learning and wouldn’t say that I am fluent, but I also didn’t expect to be able to understand it this well, so that’s perfectly fine with me.  Part of the reason I started doing these translations was because my reading and comprehension skills weren’t at the level that I wanted.  It takes another type of skill to translate, so even though I know what they are saying, it is still hard to put it into English, but I’m getting better at it.
-If anyone wants to learn Japanese and wants some tips, I would recommend studying the grammar, vocab, and kanji all at once, rather than how I did it.  My kanji skills are still lacking because I started studying it a whole year or two after I started learning the language.
-My other tip is…… Just have fun!! When I first started learning, I would get super happy whenever I heard a word I could understand in a song or anime.  When I thought about giving up, it was mainly because I was too focused on trying to rush, but you need to remember that it is impossible to learn an entire language overnight.
-I have heard a lot of other people say they learned the language because they studied it in college or used a textbook, but you can definitely learn it through self-study so don’t give up hope!  You just need to find what works for you. ^u^
-Just a random note, Tsukiuta is special to me because it is the very first drama series I started following each month. Although I couldn’t speak any Japanese back then, I followed it for the music.  When I started listening to drama CDs, Tsukiuta was at the top of my list and I listened to all of them in the several months before the anime came out, so it was the first drama series I knew that got turned into an anime.  It was a super weird feeling seeing the characters animated after only being able to hear them.  The very first live stage I watched without subtitles was also the Tsukiuta stage, which got me obsessed with stage plays and musicals.  Now it has become the first series that I have translated for other people. (Just my own thought here but I’ve slowly been working on some cosplays, maybe I should make my Rui cosplay first too so it will follow the pattern XD)
-Well that got long but I hope I have motivated someone else to learn the language too!  It is still crazy for me to think that 5 years ago I knew absolutely nothing, but I’m translating stuff now.  I love being able to give back and help other people, especially since I know how upsetting it is when you want to read or watch something, but there aren’t any subtitles.  >x<
-If anyone else has any other questions, feel free to ask! ^u^

Learning More About Your New Cell Phone
Do you feel that you know about all regarding cell phones? The majority of people do not. There are quite a plethora of tricks that you can learn. This article offers some advice on cell phones. You might be surprised by what you discover!
Don't decide your cell phone away if it was dropped into liquid. The best thing to try is to take out the battery and put the device into a bowl of rice. This can reduce the amount of moisture to get soaked up that is inside your phone.
Don't rush to get the latest best power bank. It's often not always worth the hassle. Look at reviews about a new phone prior to buying it so you need to do.
If your cell phone is a smartphone, you are probably utilizing the device quite often. A fresh restart clears up memory issues and slow downs. You will probably notice an improvement in performance just by shutting your phone down several times a glaring difference immediately.
Cell phones get slower with time. This means that it may become more difficult to download apps or update your operating system. There are some times you will hav to choose.
When you need to purchase a new phone, be sure you compare and contrast the phones in regular stores. Spend some time to test out the features of a variety of models. This makes it more likely that you will end up with a great phone much better.
Be absolutely sure that you actually need a smartphone before you buy it. Smartphones are costly, but they do a lot of things. The only need just a basic phone that there are lots of folks who could do with far less. This just may not be the smartest choice for you.
Try not to allow your phone battery completely drain before charging it again. Cell phone batteries are designed to be recharged from time to time. They don't hold a charge if the best power bank for iphone 5 battery go too low constantly before recharging. Try getting your cell phone's battery charged at an earlier time.
You probably won't need a case for your newer model phone. Smartphone makers have been known to use hard materials such as Kevlar or carbon fibers in the cell phone construction. A case is good for phone protection; however, but it can also be cumbersome. Weigh your options carefully, and only make your choices based on what will serve you.
Playing games can cure boredom and add some much needed excitement to your day.
Take time to find out the different applications do with your phone. Most recent models of phones today allow you to go online as well as to listen to music. It is normal to have a calender as well.Knowing how these programs work can help you get out of your money.
Make sure your phone is adequately protected. They may be expensive to replace or fix in their entirety. Buy a screen protector to avoid scratching your screen. You might also get a case able to keep it safe.
You should know the coverage area where you live and work. It may even be everywhere you go regularly. However, if you live in an urban area and travel out of town, you may find that there is no coverage in certain places that you're trying to go.
Purchase a top power bank protective case to protect your phone! Dropping many high-end phones can be a costly mistake. Otterbox makes very durable cases that can protect your phone safe.
Learn to use the calender on your phone's calender. You can use it to keep track of work or even leisure time. You can set some alerts in advanc so you don't forget any appointments. This is a wonderful way to schedule your schedule.
Use Wi-Fi connections rather than your data plan when you watch videos. This will reduce the data that you're allowed. This is only preferred if you have an unlimited data plan.
You should know more about cell phones after reading the article above. You need to apply all of them. Use your new knowledge to really have fun with your phone. Having a phone that you do not enjoy using is surely a bad feeling.

New Year 2020: Our Gadgets Wishlist, From iPhone 9 to Mi TV 4X
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There’s nothing like having a shiny new gadget to play with. Well, until the second week anyway — when you start looking forward to the next one, eh? That would be funny except materialism is no funny topic in a world that’s facing a climate emergency. Thanks, unchecked capitalism. But that’s not going to automatically make you not want things, but the least that you can do when the planet is burning is be responsible. More so for tech stuff that use rare-earth elements. Don’t discard something that still works, and if you’ve to buy a new one, read about its environmental impact.
Depressed yet? Anyway, here’s what the Gadgets 360 staff will be keeping its eye on in 2020. It includes TVs, laptops, smartwatches, (wireless) headphones, gaming consoles and services, and naturally, phones. And… shoes? Yes, shoes.
Aditya Shenoy: Samsung Galaxy Buds, but better
Last year, I had put the Sena 30K on my wishlist. I didn’t buy it because I found it to be super expensive for what it offered. Cardo does make similar communicators that are better and well-priced but that’ll have to wait since this Chinese V6 Communicator I bought this year is working as expected.
I don’t need a tech product, but I am open to buying a pair of good truly wireless earphones. Currently the Samsung Galaxy Buds are on the list. I hope Samsung launches a successor soon with active noise cancelling. That would be something I’ll be interested to buy.
Buy: Samsung Galaxy Buds, if you can’t wait
Akhil Arora: a new console, maybe?
Someone ought to hold and shake me by the shoulders, just for saying that. A bit of necessary backgrounder: I own more consoles than new games I’ve finished this year, and more controllers than free hours I’ve in the day. And yet, I can’t seem to resist the temptation of the next generation, if only for the better graphics fidelity it will no doubt promise.
But I haven’t named one side because I’m genuinely caught: PlayStation has more exclusives, and Xbox has… Forza Horizon? Contain your astonishment, that’s my life. What Microsoft needs to do then essentially is announce Forza Horizon 5, exclusive to the Xbox Series X. That last bit is very important. Hope you’re (not) listening, Phil. Otherwise, Sony seems the safer bet.
Or maybe I’ll grow some brains and save the money for an upcoming holiday.
Buy: some sensibility
Akshay Jadhav: Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless ANC Headphones
In 2019, I assembled my new PC, primarily for editing and gaming at home. However, I couldn’t stretch my budget to accommodate a decent pair of headphones. So, in 2020 I am looking out for a killer pair of headphones to complete my setup and I have my eye on the legendary Sony WH-1000XM3 due to its insane active noise cancellation capabilities and superb sound quality. This headphone is still on the pricier side however when it comes to ANC with overall features, it is still slightly better than the Bose QC 35. In 2020, I am hoping that after Sony releases their new XM4 model, the XM3 will go down in price or I can find it on a discounted price during any sale.
Buy: Sony WH-1000XM3 Active Noise Cancellation Headphones
Ali Pardiwala: Apple Arcade
There are a few non-tech products I absolute NEED to buy — a new mattress and shoes — so I’m a bit short on funds for a big tech purchase. However, I do love playing games on my iPad mini (2019), and I think it’s finally time to set aside an extra Rs. 99 per month for Apple Arcade. It may not sound like much, but when I’m already paying for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Spotify, and YouTube Music, even Rs. 99 per month sounds like a lot.
Apple’s gaming service comes with a one-month free trial, and gives you access you a variety of quality games through a unique monthly subscription model. It’s a great way to access new games and might be worth it for me if I can play games that actually put the iPad mini’s power to good use.
Buy: Apple Arcade
Aman Rashid: Nike Air Jordan 1
In 2018, I remember wanting to buy the iPhone XS Max in Gold, but I just couldn’t because I had recently purchased the Galaxy Note 9 at that time, and admittedly my budget was also a bit tight. But yes, I do remember mentioning in my wishlist for 2019 that I would buy the next iPhone. So, iPhone season came, and I got the iPhone 11 Pro in Gold. And with that, I fulfilled the promise to myself of getting the next big thing from Apple.
So now what? Well, now I am having a good time with my iPhone 11 Pro. And looking at my habit of changing phones every year: do I want to upgrade to the iPhone 12 Pro or whatever its name is going to be? Um, I am not so sure right now. I think for me, the iPhone 11 Pro is a very good smartphone that ticks all the correct boxes. So as much as I love my current device, I am not very sure whether I will be upgrading to the iPhone 12 Pro or not.
But this is a question for September 2020. If the new iPhone does look enticing to me, then maybe I might just buy it. In the meantime, what else do I want? Well apart from phones sneakers are something that I am absolutely crazy for and believe me I have got a lot of them. So, iPhone 12 Pro in 2020? Not so sure. More Air Jordan 1s? Yes sir, please!
Buy: Nike Air Jordan 1
Gaurav Shukla: Apple MacBook Air (2020)
It has been a while since I upgraded my laptop and if I remember correctly both my existing laptops are now touching the five-year mark. So, I am thinking of going for the upgraded MacBook Air model that is expected to arrive sometime in 2020. As the latest MacBook Air model available in the market packs the eight-gen Intel core chips, I want to wait until Apple releases the refreshed version with at least the 10th gen Intel core processor options.
It will be my first personal MacBook as even though I currently use an NDTV-provided MacBook Air for official work, I have stuck to Windows for personal computers. I am hoping that not only does Apple upgrade the CPU in the next-generation MacBook Air but also switches the keyboard from butterfly to scissor-switch-based design that it has included in the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Harpreet Singh: AirPods Pro, Kindle Paperwhite
Last year, I wished to buy Apple’s HomePod in 2019. I waited for a large part of the year, hoping Apple will launch it in India. It didn’t. And then a very wise person I know suggested I wait until Black Friday, which is exactly what I did. I ended up with a generous deal on the HomePod eventually (yes, I had to buy one from the US).
For 2020, I don’t have any solid plans yet. I wish to save some dough, but then you never know. AirPods Pro, a new MacBook Pro 13-inch (ideally one with the new keyboard), and the all-new Kindle Paperwhite are still on my wishlist. Depending on the budget, I might strike at least one of these off by the end of next year.
Buy: AirPods Pro, Kindle Paperwhite
Jagmeet Singh: Apple Watch Series 5
It’s been more than a year since I have the Apple Watch Series 3. Although I’m still getting what I need from the 2017 model, I feel that 2020 would be the year when I would switch to a newer Apple Watch. I generally don’t consider it wise to spend plenty of your hard-earned money on a new Apple device that becomes cheaper in a few months of its launch. Thus, I hope that the latest Apple Watch would get some price drops in the future that would make it a better deal.
What makes the Apple Watch Series 5 a significant upgrade over the Series 3 is its new Always-On Retina display and the ability to record electrocardiogram (ECG). Both features have attracted me since the launch of the new Apple Watch model in September. However, its price tag of nearly Rs. 44,000 for the 44mm case is something that has restricted me to take the buying decision so far.
Apple is likely to bring some notable changes to its smartwatch family in 2020. Nevertheless, I don’t want to spend much on the next-generation Apple Watch and would go with the existing option next year.
Buy: Apple Watch Series 5
Jamshed Avari: nothing, hopefully
It’s highly unlikely that I’ll splash out on anything huge in 2020, or at least unlikely that I’ll plan to. At the moment, everything I have works well enough and isn’t too old. That doesn’t mean I’m immune to the temptations of flash sales or crazy discounts, so who knows how I’ll feel six months from now, and who knows what I’ll end up with! I’ve also developed a bad habit of buying SSDs and RAM because prices keep falling so it’s probably a fair bet that my various devices will end up getting a few minor upgrades.
Nadeem Sarwar: Pixel 4a
The Google Pixel 4a is at the top of my tech wish list for the year 2020 for many reasons, with one of them being the need to upgrade to a new phone. And now that the first major Pixel 4a leak has given us a look at its design, I am more now more inclined to buy it. The Pixel 4a will ditch its predecessor’s thick bezels and will opt for a more modern hole-punch design.
Prabhakar Thakur: iPhone 9, or SE 2
I am thinking of buying Apple iPhone 9 (also called iPhone SE 2) which is rumoured to launch in April 2020. According to reports, the phone may feature A13 Bionic chip and the same chassis as that of the iPhone 8. I hope Apple keeps the bezels thin and provides a bigger battery. I also wish the phone supports fast charging, but I guess I am asking for a bit too much from the company given its past record. A decent camera can be expected as well.
My decision to buy the iPhone 9 will also depend on its price. As per speculations, the smartphone may start selling at $399 in the US. My guess is that it might sell in India for $600 (roughly Rs. 43,000). Waiting for some great deals for the phone also seems like a good idea. iPhone 11 could also become cheaper later in the year. Eventually, it will depend on the best deal that I get both in terms of phone’s capabilities and price. For now, the iPhone 9 is on my mind.
Pranay Parab: AirPods Pro
I was fortunate enough to pick up the AirPods at a big discount a couple of years ago, and I hope 2020 will bring a similar discount on the AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro has active noise cancellation and excellent sound quality, as we’ve mentioned in our review and podcast, and that makes this a must have for me. While this is the product I want to buy, I will not be picking it up at its current price (Rs. 24,900). I’m prepared to wait till 2021 or till whenever there’s a big discount before buying it. Until then, I’ll continue using my AirPods even though the battery life is down to around 90 minutes at this point.
Buy: AirPods Pro
Roydon Cerejo: games, wireless earphones and chargers
Last year, I said I wanted to buy the Apple Watch Series 4 and, in all honesty,, I almost did. But then, better sense prevailed, and I ended up picking up a used, Series 1 instead. It just didn’t make sense spending the same amount as a mid-range Android flagship, for an accessory. My main need for the Apple Watch was notifications alerts and controlling media volume when using AirPods — all of which the Series 1 handles beautifully.
For 2020, I don’t have an immediate wishlist since I’ve already made pretty big purchases this year, the PS4 Pro being the most recent one. I’ll definitely looking to get more games for the PS4, as and when newer titles drop in price and hit CeX. I’ll probably look at picking up a new pair of truly wireless earphones too. I love my AirPods, but the Samsung Galaxy Buds have spoiled me with its superior audio quality. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the Bose Earbuds 500 or 700, which were teased this year for a 2020 launch.
I wouldn’t mind more wireless chargers at home too. It’s super convenient and now that most people at my place have phones capable of wireless charging, it makes sense to have more of them around the house.
Buy: Samsung Galaxy Buds
Sumit Garg: Mi TV 4X Pro
In 2019, I have got quite a bunch of things for myself. And if we are talking about tech, then my biggest purchase must be the Apple iMac. Yes, I finally got it for myself and I also remember putting it as my wishlist for 2019. And, in 2020 I can finally shift my focus to other things. You know, I just can’t ignore my love for big screens. So, after the iMac, the next purchase I want to make for myself is a TV, and I am pretty sure about the one that I want.
The Xiaomi Mi TV, which is a 4K 55-inch LED TV, is the one I have been keeping an eye on for quite some time. I really like the way it looks, I like its picture and sound quality as well, and on top of everything, the price tag it carries is also that won’t burn a hole in my pocket. I mean come on, for 40k, where will I find such an amazing TV. So, the Mi LED TV 4X Pro it is.
Buy: Mi LED TV 4X Pro
Tasneem Akolawala: Learning apps
There’s no big tech purchase that I’ve planned for 2020, mainly because I’ve got a little toddler in the house that is going through a phase of extreme curiosity. I might invest in a few paid learning apps for my kid, but no big bucks will be spent on tech till he grows up a little more. I also kept my 2019 new flagship phone purchase on hold, even though my iPhone 6s went kaput this year, as predicted. I’m making do with a budget Android phone for now that helps fulfil my texting and calling needs.

How To Make Money On Instagram – $100 Per Day hey guys what's up Michael here on this video will show you how to make money on Instagram in 2017 I made a video about this stuff like around 1 year ago but things have changed a little bit I prepared another 2 3 methods that you guys can use today implement today without any issues they're free easy to do and they can make you love money so be sure to check out this video right now and enjoy okay guys let's get this start as I told you I'm going to be showing you how to make money on Instagram in 2017 and it's still pretty easy to make money on Instagram and there's a huge opportunity out there because everyday everyone is using Instagram right now people make tons of money out there there's influencer marketing there's all kinds of stuff but today I really want to show you some easy steps that you can do you don't have to be an influencer with a million two million followers right this is all stuff all the stuff that I'm going to show you today is stuff that you can do if you even if you have a few hundred followers if you have a few thousand followers and to be honest the followers don't even matter you can use some of these methods right here without even having any followers interest within a few days to generate traffic to your sides okay so what here you see my Instagram account ride with one hundred two thousand followers right here and pictures getting a crazy amount of likes right now a good amount of comments and stuff like this right but that's not really what it comes down to in the end though when it comes to Instagram all you have to do is you need some kind of a product or an affiliate product in order to make money and put a link in the bio and actually link to the product right in my case right here it's not actually the product that I'm linking to but it's a webinar this is what it looks like when people click right here on their Instagram on this link right here in my Instagram profile they will actually get to this landing page right here will sign up for a webinar and how I got 100,000 followers are only two months right they will register and on the back end and stuff I will make money so that's basically how it goes and you can do this with all kinds of stuff if you're signed up for an affiliate product if you want to promote a Clickbank product or anything like this you will actually link them to the landing page I mean you can link them to the actual product page but of course then you miss out on actually generating leads and stuff mean generating emails and things so should always make sure that you generate their emails or get their emails before they actually be redirect to the product page and so that you can actually get them into a funnel later on so something okay so that's basically the condom right but I'm sure you already knew this before the video right here so the question really is and what everyone is asking how do I get people how do I get tons of people actually to click the link in my bio right and that's pretty simple all you have to do is or basically I will show you like two methods right now how to get people click link in your bio I want to show you two ways right now and how to do this right so the first way would be get people to click a link in your bio by engaging with them okay so what do I mean with engaging with it on Instagram you have like a huge selection of other people in your niche other brands other product influencers and all kinds of stuff in your niche right and these people they have followers or people who actually engage with them who could be interested in your product which means they could be potential clients of yours right so what you're going to do is you're going to go to Instagram right now I'm here on the desktop so it looks a little bit different of course you do this on your phone so you search for I don't know if you're in the let's say success motivation kind of niche right you search for success right here and they're on Instagram on the actual a blue blue look at the look a bit different but there's basically all the huge accounts popping up right here for the keyword success right let's just click 24-hour success right here and there you can see this is a huge page with 500,000 followers there's tons of people engaging on every picture that he posts right here and let's just take this picture right here what you will do is you go through a picture and you see all the people right here Commons and who actually liked this picture right so what you want to do is you want to click on the likes which I can't do right now but you of course can do it on your phone or you will simply go to the people who commented and you will follow them right you will click go to this person right here you will follow the guy and you will actually also go to a picture of Sam or face and actually like it or something preferably like the last pictures you posted and stuff if you want to go real hard you can also also also leave a comment right but this is basically how you engage with people in your audience right and a good thing right here is I'm sorry in your in your niche so the good thing right here is all these people who like this stuff who like these kind of photos if you're in a success motivation is they will also most likely be interested in what you have to offer if you have to if you offer something product in this niche right so that you can do this with all kinds of niches you could do this in the weight loss Fitness niche in the I don't know in in in the fashion it whatever it is you're in right it really doesn't matter so that's really one way you have two things right here right you grow your followers you grow your followers because there's always a certain amount of people following you back of the people you follow let's say you follow 100 people a day 30 or if you're good 50 people of them will follow back and out of these 50 people a specific amount which is most of the time like 10% it's actually going to click your link so here's the thing right um if you follow thousand people a day and you have a 10% click read yet right you already get a hundred clicks right here right so that's a hundred potential clients that you get to click on your link right here every single day so 100 day 30 days a month that's like 3,000 people every single month that could already click your link right here and go to your product page just because you spent 10 minutes a day for 20 minutes following people and liking their pictures and stuff okay so that's the first thing right here but you can also combine that with another way that I want to show you in this video right here and that's how to make your photos go viral and that's really something that many people are most of the people out there Instagram and also a lot of people I work with and stuff they don't know that right they have no idea how to actually make their pictures seen by a lot of people and that's because they don't know how to properly use hashtags right so the problem with that is that a lot of people have no idea that they actually have to post like 20 around 20 hashtags a picture in half and sometimes they they just post a picture with no hashtag at all I mean you can do that if you have like a million followers or something because then magics don't matter much but especially if you have a newer account or accounts that have less than 100,000 followers or 500,000 followers um you should always post a bunch of hashtags and of course again in your niche right so don't post some random hashtags that have nothing to do with what you're doing right but actually post something some hashtags that have something to do with your niche so for example right here I'll just scroll up right here so what you have to do is to first don't put it in the first in the actual caption right put it in the first comment on the picture so you post a picture and then like two or three seconds after that and by the way put it in your like if you have an iPhone put it in your notes at like put the ad put the actual hashtags there before you post the picture so you can just literally like copy and paste them real quick once you posted a picture because it will take too long because this is really about timing also right because you don't want to let too much time pass before you absolutely post the hashtag because Instagram also values the the how fast your your picture is actually seen on the explore page that's how they call the call they pick the page right here right by doing that um you will actually make sure that for example if we take the hashtag hustle right here and by the way this picture is not showing on this anymore because on the explore page first top posts these are always like newer pictures right they're not old pictures right these are pictures that I posted a few hours ago and maximum like 48 hours ago right so you can see that there's always nine pictures right here that are on the very top right out of these not a seven million post there's always like nine pictures on the top and what happens is you want to go to this you want to make your pictures or video seen on this page right here so whenever someone is searching this hashtag and believe me a lot of people are searching for hashtags like this they will see your picture they they will click it and they like it and check out your stuff if they like the actual content right so um so how do you do this how do you get your pictures on the explore page is really simple and I explain all of this in this webinar right here so if you want to jump over right here you can check this but I also made another video on YouTube where I explain it I would find it for you guys real quick because I can't put it in this video right here I actually want to show you I made this a while ago I can't put it in this video because the method is actually a little bit more hands-on and is a little bit take some more time to explain because I want to keep this video a little bit shorter right here so I think it was this video right here yeah how'd you get more likes Instagram that's how I call it made it like a month ago or something so in this video I will kind of explain like how to actually go through this whole process and I will actually post like a live picture because in this video you will also be able to see like how it's actually ranked like how my actual picture how I ranked it and get tons of comments and leads and likes that way because right now you can't see it here anymore and because simply it was posted a few weeks ago and stuff so but in this video you can see it and it's pretty awesome so be sure to check this out and I hope you guys like this video right here and learn how to make money on Instagram in 2017 I appreciate your watching this be sure to like and subscribe and see you in the next one

New vs. Old
Take an old phone, you know the one your parents always talk about from back in the day; the old Nokia personal phone without the touch screen, no apps, and no Internet. Instead, the phone had a giant antenna and actual real buttons (if you couldn’t dial the right number then there was something wrong. Now, take the newest and greatest iPhone 7. It has a camera, 12 mp camera and 7 mp Facetime (wait, you can talk to a person face-to-face in this century without being in the same place)? In summary, new technology trumps the old technology in this circumstance, but does it really?
One of the problems with the current cell phones is that they are very, very fragile. The design and shape makes it hard to place in your pocket, bag, or practically anywhere without it getting dirty, scratched or smashed. Then, they make you cases for such phones but they cost $20 or more for an already very expensive phone. Which leads me to my next point, the cost. These phones certainly offer a lot more in terms of communication with its apps and Internet connection, as well as Facetime or video calls, but a $300 or more cost, really? Second, the newer phones are built to be durable for a short span of time its that planned obsolescence non-sense of today. It’s quantity over quality with every new product. Third and finally the one huge problem with this product is the fact that the new cell phones like any from this century comes with a World Wide Web attachment. It has the power of unlimited knowledge at the touch of a finger, but this can be a problem.
“A report, published online March 28 in Pediatrics, says that more than half of adolescents log on to a social media Web site at least once a day, and nearly one-quarter of teens say they log on to their favorite social media sites 10 or more times each day [Dr. Gwenn O'Keeffe, CEO and editor-in-chief of Pediatrics Now.]” –Serena Gordon,  HealthDay Reporter
So, in response to this finding I would say that there are huge problems with the accessibility that people, especially young children, have to the Internet with new phones. Mostly because there is no limit! Only parents can set control on how often their child is on their phone, but who keeps the parents in check? Individuals do not know how to control themselves, as the technology is still young and the idea of social media as well as other applications so easily available is too enticing. In society it’s an even bigger problem.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/22/opinion/sunday/the-flight-from-conversation.html
In the above article, psychologist Dr. Sherry Turckle discusses the loneliness that being connected online can actually cause. As a whole our society is becoming unplugged from real life and we are actually losing contact with some of our relationships because of how close we are getting to our new phones. In a study done by Miller McPherson, Matthew E. Brashears, and Lynn Smith-Lovin from 1985 to 2004 people that have zero close relationships with their family increased by 10%. Also, anybody who had a close relationship with non-family members from 1985 actually decreased by almost a half by 2004; it is a huge problem that our society has with this new phone technology. So when we ask what is better, the new or the old phone, what do you say?

Don't Waste Time Searching, Read All About Cell Phones Here
Tumblr media
Are you in getting a cell phone? Are you unsure of the one you should get? It can often be hard to understand the features and choices inherent in cell phones. This article was written to help you. After you review it, you will know more about cell phone technology for sure.
Don't assume your cell phone if liquid gets into it. Remove your phone's battery and put your cell phone inside a bowl filled with rice. The rice will absorb the moisture that has gotten inside the phone.
If you currently own a smartphone, you may use it all through the day. A fresh restart helps clear up memory. You will probably notice the improvement in performance just by shutting your cell phone after only a few days of following this trick.
Is your battery dying at speeds that seem way too fast? Weak signals can actually drain your battery's energy.
Take care when it comes to extending a warranty. These costs are a just additional cost you money and nothing else. If a cellular phone is about to fail, problems with a cell phone are likely to show up in the first year while the basic warranty is still in effect. Additionally, most people replace their phones every year, so why buy an extended warranty?
Your phone runs slower as it gets older. This will make it increasingly difficult to perform updates to your operating system. There are some times where you must to choose.
When purchasing a brand new cell phone, comparison shop in real stores instead of online. Invest a few hours in actually holding various models and testing them. You have a better chance of getting you will use and enjoy for the next few years.
Be sure you actually need a smartphone before you buy one. Smartphones are expensive, and they offer good value if the features are useful to you. The only need just a basic phone that you can make calls with. This could end up not be a good choice.
Don't let your cell phone get wet. It is common to accidentally drop a cell phone in a body of water and ruined by water. Keep it away from any source of water. Accidents will eventually happen all the time.
Ask loved ones for opinions on cell phones before you buy them. They are able to assist you in finding the best phone.
It can be wise to upgrade your phone every couple of new technology. Lots of mobile sites work on newer models. This can mean that you'll have a hard time accessing them on an outdated phone.
Invest some time to understand the apps that are loaded into your phone. Most recent models of phones today allow you to go online as well as to listen to music. You may also access a calendar too. Knowing how these programs work can help you get out of your money.
Purchase a quality case to protect your phone. Dropping many high-end phones like the iPhone can cost you quite a costly mistake. Otterbox makes very strong cases that can keep phones safe.
Use a WiFi connection rather than your regular data. Videos end up eating all of your data quite quickly. Only do this if your data plan that's unlimited.
Turn off your phone or set it to flight mode in areas where signals are sparse. Turn off the search function until you have arrived at an area that offers cell phone service.

10 Essential Travel Items Everyone Should Pack
Every year there are new travel gadgets and gear upgrades coming on the market. A quick “travel” search on Amazon will almost always lead to 10 or 15 purchases. But not all of these travel items are actually worth packing and some of them may seem cool, but you’ll never actually use them.
After travelling for nearly 10 years with nothing more than a 40 liter backpack, we’ve learned to really minimize our travel gear. But that’s not to say we don’t have a few luxury items in our bags. There are some things in our packs that you’ve most likely never heard of, and others that are common, but we feel they should be obligatory for long-term travel.
In this article I’m going to list 10 of the best things we have in our bags, as well as some things we’re planning to buy in 2018. These are items that we couldn’t travel without and we don’t think you should either!
Note: The most important thing you travel with is your backpack itself. Don’t miss our buyers guide for the best travel backpacks of the year and make sure your pack does everything you want it to.
1. Handpresso
We absolutely love the Handpresso, a compact, hand pump espresso machine. As coffee lovers who aren’t crazy about brewed coffee (we only like lattes), this is one travel item that we wouldn’t leave home without.
Simply pump it 30 times, add hot water and a pod of your favourite coffee and voilà, you’ve got the perfect cup of espresso. For budget travellers who find themselves ordering lattes at coffee shops everyday, the Handpresso can be an enormous money saver.
Just think about it. One large latte at Starbucks is around $3.65. We purchase a bag of ground espresso coffee at the grocery store for just $4.50 and that bag makes around 40 cups of coffee. Add a bit of milk and we calculate that we’re not paying more than 15 cents per latte.
If a person who normally orders 1 large latte from Starbucks every day, decided to use Handpresso instead, they’d potentially save up to $105 per month on coffee. That’s enough to pay for the Handpresso Pump itself!
Aside from the money savings, we just love this little pump. We purchase delicious ground beans from all over the world. Colombian dark roast in Colombia, rich Java from Indonesia and tasty espresso from Italy. We wake up every morning and instead of walking to a coffee shop or conglomerate, we make lattes right in our rooms and drink them on our deck.
If you love espresso, then you should travel with a Handpresso pump. The only real downside to them is that they’re quite heavy at around 800 grams. Even though we only travel with 40 liters, we still find space for this essential item.

Bonus Hack: Pick up a boil coil on Amazon as well. This handy little gadget can boil water in minutes and is super compact. Simply plug it in and add it to a cup of water and you can have boiling hot coffee in no time. The boil coil is also great for tea, cooking a cup of noodles or even for making hard boiled eggs.
UPDATE 2019: A lot of people are now using the Aeropress coffee machine for travelling. While we are still happy using the Handpresso, you may want to compare this to the Aeropress and see which is best for you. It’s definitely lighter, but does it make better coffee? Having used both now, I still think that Handpresso has it beat but it’s up to you.
2. Zipper Cubes
We still swear by these things. They keep your bag organized and ensure that everything is compressed down so that you can pack more in your bag than you would by just rolling clothes and stuffing them inside.
mesh packing cubes
We purchased Eagle Creek Zipper Cubes and they’re incredibly durable. We’ve had them since 2010 and we’ve packed them so tight that we’ve had to kneel on them and pull on the zippers just to do them up. To this day, the zippers have held up and they’re still working like new.
There are a lot of these brands on the market, but the only ones we’ve ever used are Eagle Creek and we know that they last.

3. DJI Spark
When we first bought our DJI Phantom 3 back in 2014, drones were mostly reserved for professional videographers, vloggers and bloggers who wanted arial photography. These days, drones have become smaller, more durable and easier to fly.
The DJI Spark is so tiny that it can pretty much fit into any backpack or luggage. It comes with a hard foam case to keep it protected and it takes great videos and photos. If you like to get unique photos while you’re travelling, then this thing is perfect.
It sets up in minutes, can be flown using just a smartphone and has a bunch of cool features like follow me, hand gestures and point of interest. The drone can be flown by a 12 year old and DJI has made it very simple to get excellent cinematic shots.
If you’re a new blogger, I definitely recommend picking one of these up. At just $400 you really can’t go wrong. But even if you’re not a blogger, the DJI Spark is perfect for getting cool video clips and beautiful photos from the sky while you’re travelling.
UPDATE 2019: DJI recently released the Mavic Mini drone which is a definite replacement for the Spark. With a 2.7K camera, enhanced Wifi and a 3-axis gimbal all for the same price that the Spark was at it’s release date, I’ll definitely be upgrading to the Mavic Mini as soon as possible.

4. Power Bank
Believe it or not, Dariece and I didn’t travel with a power bank until mid-2017. I really don’t know how we did it. iPhones and other devices barely last a day, so we were always walking around with electronics that were completely dead and useless.
Today we travel with 3 different power banks, in 3 different sizes for different situations. There’s no need taking out the heavy power bank if you’ll only be gone for the day, and the smallest one we have only charges the iPhone to 50%, so we only use that one if we’re running out the door and we realize our phones are dead.
The first power bank we have is the TP-Link Power Bank (pictured above) which has 20,100 mAH, enough to fully charge our iPhone 6s Plus 3 times over (nowhere near 6.5 times as the manufacturer claims).

Our second powerbank is the Mi 10000 Power Bank. It’s half the size of the TP-Link, and this one fits in our pocket and charges the iPhone 6s Plus about 1.5 times.

Finally we pack the Travel Card. This thing is about the size of two credit cards stacked on top of each other, but it doesn’t hold much charge. If we’re lucky, it’ll give the iPhones a 50% charge, but we can only usually rely on it for around 35%. Still, it’s great if we just need a quick boost in battery and don’t want to carry around anything heavy.

Note: Travelling with carry-on luggage makes flying a lot less stressful. To figure out whether or not your luggage will meet the restrictions of the airline you’re flying with, check out this carry-on size chart which shows the allowance of 170+ airlines.
5. Noise Cancelling Earbuds
I wasn’t sure what all the fuss was about surrounding “noise cancellation” until I tried on a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 20 Noise Cancelling Earbuds. These things are super comfortable and they actually cancel out most noise from around the room or airplane.
The best part is that you don’t have to actually listen to music in order to cancel out the noise. You can simply put in the earbuds and turn on the noise cancellation feature and the earbuds will scan the audio climate in the room and counteract any noise by sending the opposite signal into your eardrum. They work like a charm and really need to be heard to be believed.
Oh, and they’re Bose, so you know they sound amazing when they’re playing music.
UPDATE 2019: If you’re an Apple fan, the recent release of Apple Airpods Pro might be the best option for you. These are noise cancelling bluetooth earbuds that are getting a lot of positive reviews right now. We tried to buy a pair on our recent trip to the US but they were sold out! A clear indicator that these are a popular new product.

6. Laser Lite Ear Plugs
Continuing on the theme of blocking out unwanted sound, I wouldn’t travel without a good set of ear plugs. When I have the opportunity to order my favourites from Amazon, I always choose Laser Lite Foam Ear Plugs.
They’re soft, comfortable and block out the most sound possible without hurting your ears. You can pick up a pack of 200 of them for just over $20 and they’re worth every penny. To get the most out of them, you’ll have to pinch them down and insert them into your ear, and then let them expand deep within the canal.
Bonus Hack: Put in your laser lite ear plugs and then use ear cancelling headphones or earbuds as well. The combination of the two will drown out any crying babies, loud music or even barking dogs when you’re trying to get some shut eye.

7. Good Compact Camera
Every traveller needs to be carrying a good pocket camera. If you really don’t care about what your photos look like and never plan to take pictures in low light, then your iPhone or Android device should do the trick (assuming it’s a newer model with 10+ megapixels).
If you want to take some better photos and great videos while you’re travelling, without packing the size and weight of a full DSLR or mirrorless, then I recommend the Canon G7x Mark II. This camera has some incredible features, takes great photos (when not in Auto mode), and produces some of the best video of any camera in its class.
If you’re not a Canon fan, then you may want to go with the Lumix LX10. This one outdoes the G7x II with 4K video and rack focusing photography, meaning you can take the photo now, and decide where to focus later. A great feature that’s definitely worth the money. Also, the LX-10 has a Leica lens which promises clearer, more crisp photos.
CLICK HERE TO SHOP FOR LX10 ON AMAZON
I’m going to be upgrading our camera in the next few months and there’s a good chance I’ll go with the Lumix, but having used the G7x Mark II for over a year, I can say it’s an excellent camera and I highly recommend it.
Bonus Hack: Both the G7x II and the LX10 lack an external mic port. If you plan to do any video with these cameras, the built in mics sound terrible when there’s even the slightest bit of wind. The solution is to pick up a small mic muff, cut out a piece and glue it over the built-in mic at the top of the camera. The sound becomes less tinny and the mic works amazingly well in windy conditions.
UPDATE 2019: Canon has now updated this camera to the G7X III but be careful. A lot of users are complaining about bad focusing and overheating. We decided to upgrade to the Sony RX100 VII instead of getting another Canon.

8. Lems Shoes
I can’t speak highly enough about these amazing travel shoes. My Lems Shoes have lasted me for over two years and I wear them quite a bit. They’re extremely comfortable, can be used in place of dress shoes and running shoes in most cases and the best part is that they roll up into a ball for easy packing.
Without a doubt these are the best shoes I’ve ever owned and if they ever wear out, I’ll buy another pair right away. For men and women, these are simply the best travel shoes on the market.

9. Luggage Tracker
I have to be honest, we promised ourselves we’d pick up one of these things after Turkish Airlines lost our luggage back in 2016. We “forgot” to buy one and in December of 2017 Alaskan Airlines misplaced our luggage.
On both occasions, we were able to get our luggage back in a week, but it’s that horrible feeling you have that you’ll never see your backpack again. If we had a luggage tracker in our bags, we would have known exactly what airport they were at and we could’ve even told the airline so that they could retrieve it faster.
Needless to say, we plan to buy a luggage tracker in the new year and never lose our luggage again. During my research both in 2015 and this past few months, the Trakdot consistently tops the lists as the most recommended luggage trackers on the market.
There are two main downsides to any luggage tracker, one is that their batteries can run out if you forget to charge them and then they’re completely useless, and two is that they usually come with a paid yearly subscription (Trakdot is $24.99 per year).
Either way, at this time there’s no better solution to lost luggage, so if you care about your bags as much as we do, it may pay to pick one of these things up for around $40 and put your mind at ease.

10. Bluetooth Speakers
Everyone these days travels with Bluetooth speakers. When you’re getting ready to go out for the night or just chilling on your beach hut patio looking out at sunset, having a bit of music playing in the background can really set the mood.
Not just any bluetooth speakers will do either. You’ll want to have a nice mix of durability and excellent sound. We currently have the JBL Splashproof Portable Speaker, and it has amazing sound. Plus, we use it with wet hands at the beach and it hasn’t been damaged yet. The latest model, the JBL Waterproof Flip 4 Speakers are so waterproof that you can even submerge them in water and not ruin them, plus they’re lightweight and very durable.
CLICK HERE TO SHOP FOR JBL FLIP 4 SPEAKERS ON AMAZON
You can take them to the beach and not worry about them getting wet or sandy and they sound crystal clear. For just under $90 on Amazon, they’re also an excellent deal.
If I was going for pure sound quality and didn’t care about weight and size, I would go with the Soundlink Mini II Limited Edition. They’re still small enough that you can travel with them, but at a pound and a half they’re quite heavy, plus they cost around $200. If you don’t mind the extra half pound in weight and don’t care about waterproofing, they’re probably your best bet for sound quality.
UPDATE 2019: The new JBL Flip 5 Speakers sound better (although I find them a bit too trebly) and are fully waterproof. If you’re looking for bluetooth speakers in 2019 these would be my top choice.

11. Bonus! Pet Essentials
Travelling with a pet? Make sure you grab these essentials. Don’t forget to bring immunizations records, a suitable crate, and a blanket if your pet is cleared to sit on your lap. Always bring a few treat options, a chew toy, and waste bags just in case!
If you have an emotional support animal and flying within the US, you should be able to carry your ESA in-flight according to the Air Carrier Access Act. Most airlines require these things: ESA letter from your Licensed Mental Health Professional, pet health form signed by your veterinarian, and a behavioral form. You can learn more about emotional support animals and the air carrier access act here.
