you know what i think is interesting? the way that some people have just flat out decided that aziraphale being in hell during the body swap wasn't even a little bit traumatic.
we obviously know it fucked with crowley (see: the telling jim to jump out a window scene)
but what about aziraphale? sure we have no concrete proof it messed with him, but we also don't have proof to the contrary
"oh but he was just laughing about asking for a rubber duck". when has aziraphale ever actually been upfront about his feelings? he consistently outwardly acts like things are fine even when they very much aren't. i don't know about you but me personally? i wouldn't put it past him to be jokey about it when really it messed him up inside.
sure the holy water isn't painful to HIM. but he's down there knowing full well that it was supposed to be crowley in that bath. it was supposed to be the love of his life melting and dying in that bath. and it was to be put on display for all of hell to watch. in the same way that crowley was up in heaven knowing that gabriel told aziraphale to shut his stupid mouth and die already. the same way crowley knew they were reveling in ending aziraphale's life.
like, idk. i just think that maybe aziraphale also has a lot of trauma to work through and him working through it and his shitty coping mechanisms is part of the growth he needs to undergo in season 3.

I don’t think people realize how freaked out fanfic readers get when their favorite author(s) doesn’t update their ongoing schedule ON TIME.
And it’s not cause we want the chapter…it’s cause we’re so fucking worried about the Author.
Like— OMG ARE YOU OKAY? YOU’VE BEEN GIVING US THE TRAGIC UPDATES OF YOUR LIFE IN THE NOTES THE PAST 10 CHAPTERS?! WHY STOP? ARE YOU DEAD? DID YOU GET STUCK IN THE WALL LIKE YOUR CAT?? HAVE YOU EATEN?? HAS YOUR BRAIN EXPLODED??
Readers no longer care about the story when they don’t get their usual update. We panic and flag S.O.S as we track down our wayward author who has been both blessed by the universe with a creative mind and cursed all the same with the worst luck.
So any authors who are reading this please understand— when we comment “hey are you okay?” in your comments. No, we are not asking about the chapter.
We are legitimately concerned for your wellbeing. Do not force yourself to shit out a chapter just to appease other ppl when you yourself are not in the mental state to enjoy it or even write it to begin with.

Thinking about LTL Remus and like... why it is I choose to write him as a Dom, even though I don't necessarily have a lot of overt D/s scenes included (aside from chapter 7 but that was... a special case.)
When he's at his best, he focuses a lot on taking care of the people he cares about. He protects them where and when he can. He's attentive to their needs and wants and he listens to them. He projects an aura of calm authority and, in general, makes himself a safe space. Also, he's demonstrably good at aftercare, and that's canon - I'll fight about it. And he's able to compartmentalize extremely well which lends itself well to scenes imo.
The problem is that for a big chunk of the fic (and in canon), he's not at his best. And when he's not, he tends to get a bit selfish and over sensitive. He gets paranoid and starts questioning his relationships, all of which is rooted in his own insecurities that have developed over a lifetime of extreme discrimination. And he allows his identity as a werewolf to supersede his identity as a partner, lover, or friend (among others.) But I would argue that even him pushing people away or being manipulative is, in his mind, an act of care. He's protecting them from himself. The intent is there, even if it's not good practice. Ultimately though the important part is that he is willing to see where he's wrong and to take accountability in terms of fixing things after (see: shack scene.)
Anyway... either way (my art issues aside) I don't see him as this heartthrob sex God that walked straight out of a werewolf romance novel, like what seems to be the assumption when people hear I write him as a Dom. I just see him as A Guy that's doing his best to take care of his partners, and who, when he's feeling supported and secure himself, excels in making them feel the same. And I think in general that's all a Dom really is. And he fits the bill for me.

Hello again!
I did this lil silly survey a long while ago :)
I wanted to ask if you would mind to answer a few of my questions :3
If not, that's totally fine! No pressure!
How many hours do you sleep per night?
How many hours are enough to get through the day and how many are a lot for your standard?
Is caffein (in any form) part of your morning routine or your 'last resort'?
How do you feel over the day before and after consuming caffein (if you consume any)?
For example: sluggish, foggy, awake, exhausted, grumpy, just tired, etc.
Thank you a lot for (maybe) participating!
If you want, I can add you when I post the results, but I can also leave you out :)
Lmao @meowufff I'm probably so late with the answers but what can I do, life be lifyn. Answers down below:
How many hours do you sleep per night?
... It depends on the night. Usually I sleep around 6h... But I'm not a regular sleeper 😅 so 0, 3, 12 hours do happen quite frequently.
How many hours are enough to get through the day and how many are a lot for your standard?
Usually 6-8 is fine. A lot for my standard... Hard to say *shrug*
Is caffein (in any form) part of your morning routine or your 'last resort'?
I don't drink coffee regularly, but I do drink it whenever I feel like it. Or more like, milk with coffee. I'd say I drink 3-4 coffees a week
How do you feel over the day before and after consuming caffein (if you consume any)?
Caffeine has very little effect on me. It's more like a placebo try to inflict on myself. There are no effects from the days in between drinking it, although my tummy doesn't like when I drink coffee on empty stomach, and my body really doesn't like energy drinks thus why I drink them only as a last resort.and overall rather hate them.
