y’all my brother invited me to play dnd with him im sooo excited . here is my character her name is THREE, she’s a warforged pact of the chain warlock! who is my patron? it truly doesn’t matter, im playing for one session, but basically i imagine it to be some ancient sea witch who was like omg ur so strange & ur lights are so brilliant….would u like a pearl? would u like some fish? some powers? & THREE was like 😊 yes thank u

her familiar is a little sea imp, its name is Asterias, it usually just sticks onto her body as a starfish & sleeps, sometimes it is a seagull & goes to cause mischief. when things are getting dangerous it turns back into it’s imp form—it looks a bit like a flying-fish eel with a stingray stinger!!

the reason why the dnd movie is going to work is that for all these franchise cash grab movies the thought process is clearly "what do the kids find cool??? owlbears??? they talk about owlbears a lot??? throw in an owlbear!!!" but in this case that's literally how campaigns are put together
