the ability to watch entire seasons of TV shows has ruined me for watching them one episode per week, one week at a time... so, when I saw that there were new seasons of The Amazing Race & Survivor, I waited until the seasons were over before even beginning to watch. and now that I've finally begun watching the most recent season [№34] of The Amazing Race (TAR), I'm kinda blown away by the backstory of Emily & Molly — & usually, I loathe a backstory: mid-30s identical twins who didn't know the other existed until approximately one year ago — when one's daughter took a DNA test... the twins didn't meet until last year — a year before filming of TAR season 34 began.

they were adopted from South Korea and separated at birth; Molly was adopted to a Jewish family in Florida, whereas Emily was adopted to a Jewish family in Pennsylvania.

I kinda feel like I know a little bit of how they feel, having recently found that I have an older half-sister, & even more recently having found that I also have a younger sister & two half-brothers, but their story is on a whole 'nother level — they're identical.

in the coming year, I hope to finally meet my siblings [as well as my birth parents both of whose identities I now know], who all live in Memphis [as do both parents, separately — a much longer story... 😉]. I just hope it all goes as well as Emily's & Molly's reconnection.

no matter how well it goes, though, there ain't no chance in hell we fittna be up on The Amazing Race. 😂 Trust. 🤣

Thomas and Martha Wayne had twins Danny and Bruce. Danny was stolen from the hospital by a grieving Maddie after her child was still born.

The only one who knows is Maddie. Jack was held up in a villain attack on his way to the hospital. Maddie met him at the entrance with the bundle and just leaves with a manic look in her eye and a death grip on the baby.

The couple left town with the kids because they wanted a safer place to raise their kids... not because Maddie became extra paranoid. No not at all.

Bonus:

Phantom is the ghost of Maddie's still born child. He haunts danny because he knows maddie is his mom and wants to know what it would be like to be taken care of and grow to adulthood. This will likely just be a vent blog bc I don't really have any other anonymous corner of the internet to talk about this. And there isn't really much of this sort of content here that I have been able to find so far.

In August, at 27 years old, I learned that the man who raised me was likely not my biological father. In September, it was confirmed via Ancestry DNA that he is not my biological father, my brother, with whom I was raised, is actually my half-brother, and I have 3 other half-siblings through my biological father.
