In theory, if someone dropped a nuclear bomb somewhere, would all the frozen foods in the grocery stores get cooked? Is there a certain distance that would cook them without burning them to a crisp? Would there just be an entire isle of frozen pizzas that were cooked perfectly? I wonder how generous the radius is between undercooked and overcooked.

“Not really tired, I just... don’t really feel that great. It’s hard to explain.” Not so much sick either, just... weird. The absence of her father’s oppressive energy coming from Spear Pillar had thrown her off, making it hard for her to even sleep. “You recorded a movie?” She’d ask, moving the blanket off of her head. “We can watch it if you want.” Maybe a distraction would be good for her.

Madison still has not forgotten about the promise she mad to Celebi, and is currently sitting at her desk writing down idea’s for what she can do to help restore his forest.

She’s actually been writing down tips and advice for a while now. She wants to come back to this project with a better plan.

     She stepped back from the other for a moment. Had she been too quick to jump on them? Perhaps. Though she knew that she had to say something. After all, the other seemed rather self-destructive -- at least that was what it seemed like for her. And it seemed to remind her of somebody she knew.

She wanted to apologise for herself, but she couldn’t.  It hurt to see them do that to themselves.

Giratina watched them struggle through their words, almost wanting to tell them that it was okay and they didn’t need to say any more. She knew herself how awful it was to need help of any kind, much less ask for it. That was part of why she loved them so much, as weird as it may be. They understood one another when it came to things like this.

“Of course you can stay with me, you know that you don’t even need to ask.” Giratina answered, hand idly searching for theirs as she twined their fingers together. “Stay as long as you want, seriously. This is just as much your home as it is mine, okay?” A rarity it is to see her true softness come through, but only for Tsu and no one else. “In the meantime... is there anything I can do to like... keep you distracted? I can just throw some random shit on the TV, or... whatever makes you feel comfortable.”

1. What drew you to your current partner?

“I think it’s a bit cheesy to say, but there’s enough things that drew me to them that I could make a list. They’re one of the first people I really felt like I connected with in…. like, forever. They didn’t push me away like other people did. Even when they called me out on my stupid fucking ideas, I didn’t care. I just loved spending time with them whenever I could, and it felt like they liked it all the same, at least to me. I’m good at telling when I wasn’t wanted, and I never felt unwanted around them at all. They treated me like… like I was something, instead of this violent, unruly monster I thought I was for most of my life. I think that’s the biggest thing that drew me to them.”

14. Do you brag about your partner?

“Absolutely, I will brag about them to literally anyone. I don’t even care if they want to hear about it or not. How can I not brag about someone who literally came into my life and changed it for the better?”

“There’s a few things that drew me to him that I could think of. The first one being that he didn’t seem afraid by my power, but rather he enjoyed it. He’s the only person who’s ever survived a full force punch from me. He didn’t even get seriously injured from it, or injured at all. A lot of people and even some legendaries are terrified of my power, but he wasn’t. He took it in stride. There’s also a powerful air around him too, and I think that subconsciously drew me to him. He’s… He’s powerful, but he’s gentle around me. He’s never even raised his voice at me before. Ever. It almost feels like he’s a different person when we’re together.”

“I think a lot of what drew me to them came from their ambition. Their ambition to get their power back and ruin those who put them in such a state. Like… it’s a bit relatable in a way. I don’t think I could ever sympathize with their situation one-hundred percent, but I know how it feels to have something stolen away from you. Being able to connect with them like that made me feel closer to them, and in the end, we have similar goals. They treat me well. I can be weak and let down my walls around them. I know they’d never use it against me, or berate me for it. The most important thing, to me, was that they wouldn’t leave me behind in all of it. I wasn’t just some stepping stone for them to reach the top. They were genuine when they said I would have a place by their side. I really can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.”

“Of course. It’s hard not to brag about someone you love to other people, even if they don’t really care. They’ve really done a lot for me, and the people that stole their light are so fucked when they manage to get it back someday.”

It did not take long for Xerneas to hop off of them so that they could actually talk. “HMM well yes and No...You looked a little lonely, so I wanted to come say hello.” Her expression get’s soft much like that of a mother looking down on a child. Except her playful aura still buzzed around her as it usually did.
