Praia dos Artistas, Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
A beautiful narrow pebble sandy beach located in the northern part of the city. It is situated between Bosque dos Namorados do Parque das Dunas and Forte dos Reis Magos.
Next to the beach you can find @centrodeartesanato Centro de Artesanato da Praia dos Artistas, hand-made souvenirs (very interesting and large selection), spices, local products & many many more!
But the fall had hurt, too. Because the wind had cut into his useless wings like knives, his skin and grace peeling away under the friction, and he had been looking right up at the multicoloured and unreachable expanse of sky just to see it fade from his eyes into dull greys.
and i came up with this. i hope the vision came through
there obv IS a prevalent and aggravating trend of stories having an antagonist who correctly identifies a flaw in society and aims to fix it but also commits atrocities along the way that the narrative claims to undermine the entire goal and then when the hero defeats them it is in the name of the status quo - but people sometimes point to legend of korra as an example of this which is so annoying bc like man how can you not understand a show written for children. every single season ends with korra defeating the villains and then saying "they had some points tho!" and then changing the status quo to address the flaw the villain identified
(Had this idea and it wouldn't let go. If there's already a fic that exists with this idea, please link me!)

Escape to Smallville
Danny's identity gets discovered by the GIW on one of Danny's patrols. They out him to his family when they go to capture him for experimentation and pretty much shoot him while he's sitting at the dinner table. His parents stand up for him and pretty much go to war with the GIW right then and there.
Jack hauls ass with an injured Danny in his arms while Maddie covers them from behind fast enough to barricade themselves in the Ops Center then turns to Danny to patch him up as best and quickly as possible. After him and Maddie do as much as they can, Jack then looks Danny in the eyes and tells him he needs to run. He straps a fully stocked travel backpack with plenty of extra bandages on Danny's back, hands him a prototype signature blocker, a map, and a location to go to. Danny is shocked at what the signature blocker means and his mom and dad reveal to him that they've know for a year or two already, at least right before Jazz headed off to college. They tell him they love him regardless of if he's alive, a ghost, or a bit of each.
They split up from there. His parents take the Ops Center and lead the GIW on a wild goose chase across the Midwest, while Danny secretly flies as fast as his injured state will allow. He tries to pace himself but anxiety and a sense of urgency push him to keep going and don't stop. When he finally finds the location his dad told him about he almost immediately drops from the sky and crash lands in a corn field in the middle of nowhere in the state of Kansas.
That's where he's found by a very distressed Mama Kent.

Up to you to decide what Jack's, and therefore Danny's, relationship is to the Kents. Are Jack and Martha siblings? Cousins? Is Jack another Kryptonian? Is Danny half Kryptonian and half ghost? You decide!
Can anyone figure out what the virus text says? I think it's void-related based on the eye imagery, but I'm not 100% certain whats going on with that. 👀
Look at the clock in the background, literally a minute away from the year 2000.
Do not think, what could you do for the World around you, just go and act. Every little step brings us closer to the greater goal of a cleaner planet.
Every time you go for a walk, take a bag & gloves, or anything else that will help you to pick up the surrounding trash.

In 2019 The International Space Station spotted an exotic type of upside-down lightning called a blue jet (illustrated) zipping up from a thundercloud into the stratosphere ⚡️
⠀⠀⠀
When storm clouds send lightning crackling in jagged streaks across the sky or produce a thundering bolt that strikes the ground, another otherworldly phenomenon sometimes erupts from the top of the clouds in a column of blue light firing toward space. These colorful flashes are called blue jets and they can stretch 30 miles into the stratosphere.
⠀⠀⠀
Blue jets can only be seen from the ground under rare circumstances because they’re brief and are typically obscured by clouds. But in 2019, instruments aboard the International Space Station (ISS) were able to record five blue flashes and a blue jet that shot into space from a storm cloud near the island of Nauru in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
It's a hell of a thing, waking up in the middle of the night to find yourself floating. He's just lucky he has a room to himself when it happens. It's only a little while later, when things have calmed down a bit that he discovers he can do it at will- not only can he levitate himself, but he can also levitate objects around him. With a bit of practice, he gets the hang of both.
(He has no idea how he can do this. It shouldn't be possible. But then again... he's always been weird. What's one more thing?)
It's when he learns he can teleport that he begins to form the inklings of a plan.
If there's one thing he's learned in the foster system, it's that nobody actually seems to want him around. So maybe he should just make things easy on them and disappear. If he can teleport, nobody would be able to catch him. It's easy. He can just steal what he needs. It's a lot better life than being shuffled from foster home to foster home.
He steals some camping gear first- a simple tent and a sleeping bag, a camp stove and some cooking stuff. He remembers vaguely how to use some of the stuff, but he spends time at the library watching videos online to refresh his memory. He decides the first thing he'll do is head to his house in the desert. He'll figure out what he's going to do from there.
