So, we have an introject from a webcomic, and we were in the Discord server for the webcomic. The headmate, Fern fronted and wanted to talk in the Discord server. The author of the webcomic said that introjects, especially ones from the webcomic, were not allowed to speak in the server despite it being "system friendly." This pissed us and a few of our friends off to be honest. I understand that the author was uncomfortable but if it's a system safe space then introjects of all sources should be allowed to speak. The worst part? Some of the other members in the server were like "Where did Fern go? Where is he?" We left the server after that because Fern is extremely sensitive, especially to source and system related topics. They deleted all the conversations Fern and the other members had. Fern isn't even very attached to the universe their source, just the character, and even then their personalities are very different. I've attached some screenshots of the conversation Fern and one of the mods had.

I understand where the author was coming from but they weren't forced to interact with Fern. I also understand that this is their server and they make the rules, but it did still rub us the wrong way.

That's really odd, I don't like that at all. Alters aren't source and that person needs to realize it. There was no need for you to apologise in that situation, and you're not in the wrong at all

soooo i decided to make us a little community server. i love my little private group so much and i've recently met so many more amazing people it just kind of made sense to make something a little more public. i totally understand not everyone likes being in servers, may be shy, etc. but it's here for anyone that may want to hang out!

there will probably be some growing pains, i spent hours last night setting things up but i can't guarantee it'll all function perfectly, it is discord after all, so if anything needs to be adjusted you can definitely let me know!

The Ishgardian Restoration - A Community in the works!

Good Morning, tumblr and friends!

Francy here, or, Francel Mun.

As some of you may be idly aware, I have been slowly making my way through the Firmament grind, steadily on the way to the Pteranodon mount. However, the Diadem slog is long, lonely, and tedious, and in terms of Skyward point allotment, somewhat unrewarding. The Expert crafts are more bearable, but it is still a lonesome endeavor.

In that vein, I had an idea that perhaps it would be nice to build a community centered around Crafting and Gathering, and, while specifically having the Restoration in mind, it need not entirely be just that. So, I have organized, and, am in the process of growing a discord community specific to the Diadem, and Firmament crafting with a social nature in mind. Whether you want to commiserate, level, or mentor and assist, there are roles to choose from, and friends to make. Or, even if you should just like to quietly lurk, and read, and see what is contributed in the social channels, this is alright, as well!

The discord is not limited to just those present on the Crystal data center, as parallel crafting and gathering is possible, and DC travel is achieved. It is possible to be from different DCs and enter the Diadem (but not the Firmament).

If you would like to discuss joining, please feel free to send me a private message. In order to negate the possibility of bots joining, I will not be linking the discord in this post.

Reblogs and sharing this post in some manner would be greatly appreciated! Supporting those going for this achievement is my goal, and hopefully, even after we reach our goals, we can keep this community alive to help others walking the path, later. So I’m making a discord for predator fans. I’ve joined a couple of the ones already existing but I didn’t really like them and they were pretty inactive. Who were one of those people who got into this Fandom cause of Tinkerbell? I know I was one of them for sure. I always found how though they were so small. Found ways to survive and lived amongst the bug life. And having wings to fly, sounds amazing!

Did anyone of yall watch tinkerbell? If so, what was your favorite character and which film, and why?

My favorite character was tinkerbell herself, how she manged to make anything, and was always curious of the world, and was unique from the rest! And my favorite movie has to be the third film.

Announcing a fandom community server!

Hi, guys! This is sorta directed at my followers but also Obey Me fans (and other fandom people).

I mentioned, like, a looong time ago I wanted to do a community server, but I didn't really understand how to use Discord, but since then I've been in a zine, a few collabs, and hosted my own collabs (currently running one for Lucifer 👀). So, I have the experience and knowledge of running a server now!

My urge to create a fandom-centric server has really bloomed and after sitting on the it for a year, I feel confident enough yet still anxious to release a link of an invitation to it (found at the bottom)! It's still fresh, and bots haven't been implemented yet, but I really want to push this out.

I myself am in a lot of different fandoms, obviously Obey Me, but also Baldur's Gate, Stardew Valley, Kingdom Hearts, Persona games, What in Hell is Bad, a few obscure fandoms (like Alien Stage and Touchstarved) and older ones (Homestuck), so I have all the intentions to have this server be inclusive to webcomics, anime and manga and adjacent media, games from standard video games to phone games, graphic novels, books, otome and romance stuff, indie media like web series, cartoons, and games, and more as it grows.

I also want this server to be a hub for writers and artists to share their stuff they're too awkward or anxious to post and receive feedback, and as a place to get to know fellow-minded people in shared fandoms. AUs, theories, headcanons, crossovers, self-inserts, your MCs/OCs - all allowed!

A few things to note:

This is a fandom community server, but it might start out as Obey Me heavy because I'm trying to direct attention to that fandom since that's the one I am mostly in and participated in most things as a fan.

Adults and minors (16+) are allowed, but there are rules implemented that divide channels into SFW and NSFW categories and channels.

Writers, artists, content creators, cosplayers, fans that dabble, etc. are enthusiastically welcomed

The server can also function with channels regarding roleplays and self-publishing (commissions, Etsy shops, etc.)

I really want this server to kinda be a central spot for small fandoms or dying fandoms (like Obey Me) or old fandoms or growing fandoms and ones in-between basically non-existent and probably way too big. I want the server to be a community of different fandoms and the people that incorporate them, and I want it to be a fun place to just either relax with other fans and share works you like or works you've made or as a place to just dip in a silently lurk to look at what people are talking about or look at what is shared or as a place to lose your fucking minds when updates happen or something wild or devastating in the media occurs.

I want this to be a respectful but enjoyable place to come to and join and feel like you can invite friends or maybe even make friends!

Hard rules:

Before entering though, the server has a soft screening process for people to join.

Verifications will be done by me to make sure no one with ill intentions has a chance to cause harassment or harm to members. Fandoms can be toxic and mean in public places like here and Twitter, but this server will be, to the best of my ability, a space away from that.

Absolutely no pedophilic content is allowed. Like, none. It'll be one of the fastest things to get you kicked and banned and blacklisted.

There are rules and specific channels for certain ships and certain explicit content that can be talked about in the server if there are any questions.

This server is for fandom communities and politics and religious hot takes are not applicable here. This is a designated relief zone and none of that is really welcome.

I think that mostly covers the sales pitch and important stuff, lol.

We were in a server where if a user had a certain discomfort towards a media (ex: DSMP, Genshin Impact, MCYT to name a few), the staff would inform any alters whose source was one of those media that they were not allowed to talk in the server. Like at all. Not even in bot channels. I’m happy the server got nuked.

Hello everyone! I would like to bring ya’ll a closed species that is close to my heart. Moth Pixies are a closed species with elements of an Art Role Playing Game (ARPG) by Cappicake/Krimket and SingingElectricity.

We are currently hosting a recruitment event! All new players during this month shall be granted a starting bundle, as well as a bonus to their First Time Owner quest! They’ll be able to add 1 C Grade Trait to their myo moth! One you join you are also free to participate in the recruitment event, which can net you an additional, higher tier MYO ticket, and other goodies!

The community is quite active with activities and mini games hosted all the time. There’s monthly quests to complete, guilds to join, and honeys to modify your existing moths! We also have a breeding element, where you can breed your moths with each other, to produce grubs, and then have them grown for free by our lovely Permanent Artists.

I’m somebody that’s been working on a pet project TTRPG in my downtime, and I have been wondering something. Do you know of any discord servers or communities that would be full of similar people, people that have already or are currently working on TTRPGs? This might not be the best place to ask, but I thought I might as well shoot my shot.

Extremely good question!!! I know of a couple off the top of my head but I am certain that there are more. If anyone knows of any others or if you want to promote your own TTRPG Discord or TTRPG space please add it to this post!!

The first up is Possum Creek’s Public Discord which is filled with wonderful TTRPG-oriented folks, the Possum Creek crew have done a really good job of fostering a community there. They’ve also got their Patreon Discord, which you do need to back their Patreon to access (which you can do for just $1 a month) and it is also absolutely fantastic.

Secondly there’s the Brain Trust Discord, which is run by Adam Vass and Will Jobst. If you listen to their Brain Trust podcast (which you should) you may have heard of it already but its a really good space filled with a lot of super cool people all talking about and making TTRPGs.

Another one is Reliquary Street Station, which is run by the lovely @stargazersasha. It was originally created during Trans Fucking Rage Jam and has continued to be an incredible creative force in the indie TTRPG and trans community. It is a space specifically for trans artists so please make sure to respect that.

There’s also the Clawhammer Games Discord, Clawhammer Games being the publisher of Gravemire, a Gilded Age tabletop horror game about mortality, growth, and the Louisiana bayou that is going to be available at IPR very, very soon!

Lastly, @jeeyonshim has her Patreon Discord, the Dirtgoblin Community Center. Which, again, you do have to back her Patreon to access but it’s an incredible community, plus there’s so much other cool stuff you get access to by supporting the Patreon that I really recommend checking it out.

Again these are just the ones I can think of, if anyone else knows of good spaces for indie TTRPG creatives please add them on!
