In "The Salmon of Doubt," Douglas Adams satirically imagined a puddle thinking, "This is an interesting world I find myself in - an interesting hole I find myself in - fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!"
right so I haven’t seen anyone else post about this on here but there’s good news and bad news from Reddit that was posted a little over a week ago, coming from Arvind
the good news is that they were APPARENTLY in mid-process with the animated series. The bad news is- well- everything else
(from u/edstertheplebster on r/DirkGently)
I personally feel that when this series comes out, all this waiting will be a distant bad memory for the fandom that we’ll fondly refer to as “the dark ages”
Ok so I made a forthur "edit",, this is my second time editing and I know putting random clips over a gay flag isn't actual editing, but yeah... I chose the song because of a forthur playlist done by @dirkgentlies
35/42 Among notes for #DirkGently, Douglas had drafted additional verses for the Samuel Taylor Coleridge #poem, which began: ‘In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure dome decree.' The new stanzas were alluded to, but never seen in the text of the published novel - until now!
Currently reading: oh shit, so much! Stiff, it’s about cadavers is the most recent, and a bunch of fics
Last song: in the truck some horrible song was playing called i’m still a guy, cw for some super misogynistic shit
Last series: i just finished stranger things
Last movie: my friend had on some weird movie in the background that i don’t know the title to, but willingly the last one i watched was probably Beetlejuice last week
Currently working on: so fucking much homework. i don’t currently have any wips due to absolutely no free time
Tagging: @bowling-bullfrog and @dirkgentlies npt!!! :)
i’m gonna add a picrew too, just for shits and giggles!
