the decades of rotting leaves and mud I removed last time have really allowed the pond scum to flourish

#the water is very clear now. you can see the entire disgusting slime forest as if through a spotless window #worked on the third of four water features today (the frog pond... I have yet to touch) and #did you guys know worms live in water. I mean it was a watery leafy mix but. there were so many earthworms #there was one--just one--the diameter I swear to christ of a magic marker and I had to retreat in fear #waited for it to scrunch back under some leaf cover before continuing #the family homestead #not a reblog
