Social Media GROWTH.✨📌
2023 has just started however there’s a few things I’ve already let go of & I’m proud of my discipline & courage. Honestly I’ve been feeling this wayyyy before the new year. I’m starting to see some things in this world as a distraction & I’ve considered they may have been holding me back. Social media being one small thing. I’ve decided to let certain aspects of social in efforts to growing spiritual,physically & consciously.
I do feel as if social media will be the downfall of our generation. Although it’s given many people blessings & help them .. it’s not all peaches and cream.
- Tea pages such as TSR,On Site & etc. I’ve decided to unfollow these pages because I do feel majority of the content is negative especially upon people or color. I absolutely loveeed knowing the celebrity scoop however in the forthcoming years I’ve realized they’re people/humans just like me & #2 I feel as if certain things are placed in the media to be a distraction on what’s going on in the world,behind the scenes as well as keep us distracted from our own lives. With this being said .. I have NOTHING against anyone who follows these pages nor do I care about things are sent to me (because many people know who I use to be) I’ll respond and give my lil spill .. it’s not something I want to look at or see on a daily on MY page !
- Oversharing & over-scrolling - I’ve decided to focus more on reading and researching things I’m into as well as planning accomplishments I want to achieve. There’s so much life outside of social media. Even if you do social media as a job I suggest having a balance. As you’re scrolling life is passing you by. Although some things may be motivation it’s easy to become fixated on social media & you may feel “rushed” or the pressure to live up what you see as you scroll. Start living life without having posting. Oversharing can sometimes give the wrong people access to your life & success. Of course share your accomplishments but don’t feel pressured to share or feel as if you have something to prove. Take pictures and challenge yourself to keep them in your camera roll solely for memories. There’s peace in privacy. Cut back on scrolling as well. Try limiting your screen time to 4-6hrs daily.

no fast food
no smoke
less screen time , more books
raw foods , herbal teas & fresh green juices
daily journaling
Ive started a binder to keep attract of progress & note any detox symptoms.

Detox does not mean weight loss, all of those people that try to sell detoxes and market them as such are just taking your money. I fully believe in detoxing the body, but as a means for helping the body to work more efficiently.
Note: I know there are people that do not believe in detoxing, that will say that is what our liver and kidneys are for. Which is true but if those organs are continuously bogged down, I am a firm believer they will not continue to work as well as they could. Detoxing gives them a little break, if you don't agree with this I fully understand but your comment letting me know you don't agree is not necessary. And you will be deleted and blocked. 💚

happy sunday
I realized this morning that when i'm faced with sticky emotions, my room is cleaner, my laundry never becomes a pile, my skin is moisturized, and oh. i drink a lot of detox drinks. I think I do this to show myself care during these times, and also as a little fear in the back of my mind..a little bit of untrust. Its very easy to forget to just let things flow and crash and spin and then leave, its easy to hold onto something or reach out for something else.. anything but now, when its hot we cry and sweat and wish it to be cooler. when white outlines the world we begin to feel uneasy and mourn the summer. Its hard to trust, trust that you are being guided. Being on earth is a noble choice and when we have to turn and look at our darkness, sometimes its scary. but its this very darkness that we will grow profoundly from, not the detox drinks and going out everyday looking clean and presentable

This is one of my favorite go-to smoothie detoxes. Save this for when you need a rebalance after indulging (hello holidays!) or returning from a vacation, reset gut health, and/or break sugar & caffeine addictions. Don’t forget to drink lots of water and green tea in between, and make sure you do this on low key days where you’re not expending a lot of energy. 💚

Spontaneous Insta-Detox . Will be more online on here again , always enjoying my calm and friendly Tumblr-family :) Insta can easily turn into a bubble while tumblr is not. I feel like this shift is very good for me rn and I have always a boost of inspiration (and communication!) when taking my time off from Insta. Mabe because I am connected to many people that I personally know and that even live in the same city/country as me. It feels good to not always be online, available, scrolling sharing. To take conscious breaks and to return even more to myself and to my digital scrapbook/diary here with no rush, no comparison and nor shame nor guilt. Don't get me wrong but hustling in silence has become a way of living for me. Not that I dont talk to anybody bout it- but I dont talk to everybody about it all the time. It's a tiny yet significant difference ! It also feels like really growing up. The best way to share is to listen to myself, to write it down or to get creative in any other way. And ofc I share things when I feel like doing so (esp sharing pictures of nature, selfwritten texts or art that deeply inspires me). I think there is a healthy way of using Social Media when we consciously step away, take breaks (not limiting ourselves!) and distance ourself from over-stimulation. As a highly sensitive person I catch myself triggered, nervous or anxious when I consume too much social media (in particular IG) as there is oftentimes so much content mixed up and chaotic, making me at times definitely more anxious and nervous than happy (ofc not all the time). But whenever I feel that I've reached such a point again, it is my mind and body telling my to consciously step back and to silently focus on myself, my wellbeing and intentionally turning the volume of the noise of my head down. Whenever I feel like it- I'll return- no limits, not judging myself. It's like deep breathing for the mind; slowing down the volume of our thoughts and letting peace naturally enter my being. Besides, I have so much work to do that it seems best for me to do so right now, as I owe myself this regeneration.
