Hi, so I've been a Utena fan for several years now. I'm talking since I was about 10 years old. I am now 30. For the past two decades, I've been revisiting the show time and time again and every time I watch it I'm reminded of its tenderness, its raw passion, its sheer beauty and it's enough to move me in a way no other show has. I just wanted to thank you for being a part of my Utena-stanning existence because, as hard as I try, I can't seem to find other people who love and cherish this show on nearly the same level. Utena changes my life every time I watch it and your analyses of Utena are why I'm able to take so much from it after every rewatch. I'm just happy to be reminded that Utena is not only important to me but to a host of folks out there who put the time and effort into dissecting this masterpiece. Thank you for your service. Here's to another 15+ years of analysis!

I want you to know that you're of the right age to be a younger cousin to me, and I want you to know that that means something to me and that you-- YOU-- are the reason Vanna and I keep going on. Yeah, we think Utena is evergreen. Yeah, we know that the principles are just as applicable now as they were twenty years ago

You saw something in it. I know you did, cause I--Yasha-- did too, and it changed my entire fucking life. Vanna moved fucking countries, got married-- deskflipped her entire life for me, and it was on the strength of this fucking show. We found a way to reach for each other because of this fucking show.

I'm gonna just... let that be what it is. YOU know what Utena is for you. YOU know what it has done for you. You are the only one who will ever understand what living bravely means for YOU. But I want you to know, Vanna and I will always be here. As long as you can find Empty Movement, you can find us.

Flip of the Week: Used This Table For A Year & Got Paid For It I got this one from a thrift store. It was only $7.99 so I bought it. Any furniture that’s less than ten bucks is usually a safe bet for flipping. Ended up profiting $32. This flip is a great example of getting paid to use something. I find that university made me weirdly prissy about my research formating. After seven years of being hamered over the head with cientific article format, the format the new college wants makes me want to deskflip. It's so awkward. It would never, ever be publised by ANY publications. Wtf is this. Why.
