hey i am only saying this bcoz u asked for names but @desi-stree is in fact a terf. she also calls dalits "brainwashed" for speaking about their oppression so make of that what you will
Yep, I got one like this already, you are talking about this one right?
So yeah, the thing is, I did have a convo with her, this was what she had to say regarding the caste thing.
Tumblr media
And the terf accusations
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her and I are not mutuals. We have simply reblogged stuff from each other which is not based on these issues and had conversations regarding the same.
But still, I could not believe accusations and had a conversation with her, and the results are for you to see. As I have comfirmed, she did something seriously wrong and I am just disturbed, and shocked, by her wording and and ignorance, and she has accepted that it was her fault.
So yeah, I will not go and call out the accusations of TERF and caste issue ignorance when she believes she brought them on herself. And for real, so do I.
She says she will be more careful in the future, but that is honestly for you all to see, as is whether you believe this was deliberate or a mistake made by lack of knowledge on topics as she put it.
Everything else aside, these accusations are something that she herself has to address so I will leave the rest to her @desi-stree

Hi I would like to hear abt ur ocs 👀
cracks knuckles, TYSM FOR ENABLING ME! I have a whole lotta ocs so I think for this ask I'll just pick a few so I don't write a whole novel at once! A few pirates of mine! If anyone wants a wizard post of the same nature... (;
Let's start with my love my light my darling, Desiderius Calamitas! My resident musketeer. This guy.
Tumblr media
Desi is, in a sense, my 'main' pirate! This is The Pirate! Born and raised in Monquista, he had it pretty rough being a non-native and dealing with Monquista's... shall we say exclusionary tendencies. Being a gorgon and growing up to feel ashamed of it and hide this at ALL times, along with being treated like some dangerous feral beast, Desi left the instant he could. Which was when he turned 18 and hijacked a pirate ship, effectively coercing the crew into handing over power as a trade-off for saving them from a close call with the Armada. He's a megalomaniac, it's true. With a love for all things bright and sparkly and pink and oh, he just wants to be a pirate yk?? He takes over as Captain to a reluctant crew and ends up slowly becoming a very infamous and wanted figure. Because he's a menace to society<3! A smart chessmaster, but naive and vain and the holder of a megalomaniac complex. Lovely little man. He wants to take over Monquista someday, but for now? He will happily settle for having the highest bounty possible by the Armada (and trying to figure out how guns work haha help he's never done this before).
MOVING ON! To one of his crewmates! Marion Merripen! (Desi's boyfriend cough cough) Who is the crew "witchdoctor", though in reality? He's a necromancer with a hatred of his own magic and is far more inclined to act as the crew's medic. Having been raised for a time by a Marleybonian doctor, he has medical knowledge and is in charge of keeping everyone else in one piece... mostly. Though he's been a pirate for longer, he doesn't seem all that interested in fame or fortune. Rather it's just... what he knows, after being picked up as a younger teen for the crew to get him away from Marleybone. Why away from Marleybone, besides it being hell on earth? Marion is a fae! Specifically, the son of a faerie and a merrow, a hybrid who can't help but stand out and... does not bode well with worlds like MB who can't hide their judgements. So he became a pirate instead. It was a nice outlet for his INTENSE repressed anger! He's a very grumpy fella, but he has plenty of reason to be, even if he's a touch too rough and mean at times. So a vulgar and fairly mean goth who's also in charge of patching ya up after ya get stabbed on the job for the millionth time, good luck!! And how about the starter antagonist, General Achille, (Desi's other boyfriend cough cough) someone who Desi and co. assume is a member of Kane's court. A 7ft tall battle angel General, who, after one too many disturbances, is tasked with finding and capturing Desi and his crew. Or killin him. Whichever comes first, the Armada isn't picky. Achille opts for the second option more often than not. There's a few issues though. Issue number one is that Desi is IMMEDIATELY taken by the sight of him, falling head over heels for the person trying to murder him weekly and finding him to just be the most radiant man to ever walk the Spiral. Achille has no fucking clue what any of that means, but over time Desi's weird reactions and constant flirting strike up a bit of, gasp, fondness?? Perhaps? And he starts to look forward to their encounters a bit, perhaps. Maybe. The other issue is that Achille is... not a clockwork, not that this is common knowledge. The crew doesn't have time to think about this while he's trying to slice them in half. But raised under the 'care' of the Armada since he was terribly young (after he lost his mother, three guesses as to how), he was taken in as a pet project. His sun magic being seen as a potential weapon to be wielded. Essentially brainwashing him for his entire life to be the perfect solider and question no orders, to not think for himself. But no one knows this. Not even Achille, having fallen so deep into the trance that he truly sees himself as a machine and needs to work to regain his humanity. Woo! After all, those clockwork wings attached to his back sure speak another story, huh?

HERE COMES THE JUDGE!
Oyez! Oyez! All Rise for the Honorable Jurists of the Lucyverse!
Tumblr media
“Lucy the Conclusion Jumper” (1968)
APPROACH THE BENCH
Tumblr media
Clarence Wilson played a Judge in one of Lucille Ball’s early films, Blood Money (1933). It was the first of three of his Judge roles.
Tumblr media
C. Montague Shaw played the Judge in Jealousy (1934), a film in which Lucille Ball has a bit part. He also played a Judge (not the legal kind) in 1935′s Carnival, also with Ball, as well as eight more screen Judges!
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball played a Beautician and Edward LeSaint played a Judge (both uncredited) in Fugitve Lady (1934). Of LeSaint’s more than 325 screen credits, more than 60 were as Judges; nine in 1939 alone. They included the cult classic Reefer Madness (1936) and a film titled A Woman is the Judge (1939).
Tumblr media
Etienne Giradot played Judge Peterby and Lucille Ball was an uncredited chorine in Hooray for Love (1935). He went on to play Judges in two more films.
Tumblr media
Howard Hickman played 28 Judges from 1934 to 1941, including Judge Jonathan Travers in the Lucille Ball film Next Time I Marry (1938).
Tumblr media
In 1940, Lucy and Desi’s elopement required two Judges!  Probate Judge Harold L. Knapp waived the five-day wait required by Connecticut law, and Justice of the Peace John P. O'Brien performed the ceremony at the Byram River Beagle Club at noon on Saturday, November 30, 1940. Some aspects of the event were fictionalized on “I Love Lucy” in 1952 with Irving Bacon playing Justice of the Peace Mr. Willoughby.
Tumblr media
Walter Abel played the Judge in Dance, Girl, Dance (1940). In 1935, he was seen in the film The Three Musketeers with Lucille Ball. Abel also played a Judge in his final television role in 1976.
Tumblr media
In Valley of the Sun (1942), Lucille Ball played Christine Larson and Billy Gilbert played Judge Homer Burnaby. Gilbert was also seen with Ball in I Dream Too Much (1938) and Joy of Living (1938).
Tumblr media
Also in 1942, Ball played the lead in The Big Street in which Julius Tannen played Judge Bamberger. He also played a Judge in The Lady in Question (1940).
Tumblr media
There were two Judges in the Lucille Ball film Ziegfeld Follies (1945), both in the segment titled “Pay the Two Dollars”.  Judge #1 was played by Joseph Crehan, who later played the Detective in “The Great Train Robbery,” a 1955 episode of “I Love Lucy.”  Of his 382 film and TV credits, more than a dozen were as Judges.  Judge #2 was played by William B. Davidson, who was also seen with Ball in Roberta (1944) and Lover Come Back (1946). Coincidentally, Davidson’s final film was titled The Judge Steps Out (1948). He played a Judge in five films. One of his early films was titled Good Morning Judge (1928). The two Ziefeld Follies Judges do not appear in the same segment as Lucille Ball, “Here’s To The Ladies.”
Tumblr media
Walter Soldering and Joel Friedkin played Justices of the Peace (a Judge with limited jurisdiction, generally with the ability to perform marriages) in the Lucille Ball / Van Johnson film Easy To Wed (1946). Friedkin played a JOP in three other films and a Judge in eight! Soldering played four JOPs and six Judges.
Tumblr media
Selmer Jackson played the Judge in the Lucille Ball / Franchot Tone film Her Husband’s Affairs (1947). His first time playing a Judge was in the Jimmy Durante film Carnival (1935), in which Lucille Ball played a nurse. Twenty more Judge roles followed, including Mighty Joe Young (1949). Ball did the script for radio in 1949, although the actor playing the Judge went uncredited and unidentified.
Tumblr media
Edward Forbes played the Judge in Lucille Ball’s tour of the stage play Dream Girl (1947-48) which began in Princeton, New Jersey.
Tumblr media
The film What My Next Husband Will Be was announced in June 1948 as a vehicle for Lucille Ball. It wasn’t long before Ball had been assigned to Miss Grant Takes Richmond (see below) and the role was recast with Rosalind Russell. The title was changed to Tell It To The Judge (1949) and Russell’s character was changed from a Broadway star, to a Federal Judge.
Tumblr media
George Cleveland played Judge Ben Grant in Miss Grant Takes Richmond (1949) starring Lucille Ball and William Holden. The Judge is the uncle of Ellen Grant, the title character played by Lucy. This was Cleveland’s fifth film with Lucille Ball in four years. In 1954, Cleveland played a Judge on TV’s “Death Valley Days.”
IN RECESS
Tumblr media
When Ball did Miss Grant on radio in 1950, the role of Judge Grant was taken by Arthur Q. Bryan, best known as the voice of Elmer Fudd. Bryan played Mr. Chambers, new owner of the Tropicana in “Ricky Loses His Voice” (1952).
Tumblr media
Gale Gordon played Judge Skinner in the My Favorite Husband episode “Valentine’s Day” broadcast on February 11, 1949 on CBS Radio.
JUDGE: “There is no problem too big to solve. Into every life a little rain must fall. Every cloud has a silver lining, and it is always darkest before the dawn.” LIZ: “Well now that we’ve had the weather report, let’s get on with the case!”
Lucy ended up appearing before another Judge played by Gale Gordon on “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” (see below).
Tumblr media
Alan Reed played Harry, the Judge in the My Favorite Husband episode “Television” broadcast on CBS Radio on June 17, 1949.  Reed was best known as the voice of Fred Flintsone, but also appeared as a cafe owner in “Lucy Visits the White House” (1963).
FINAL ARGUMENTS
Tumblr media
“Television” was the basis for the “I Love Lucy” episode “The Courtroom” (1952), in which the Judge was played by Moroni Olsen.
LUCY: “Well, Your Honor, now that I think of it, maybe it was Ricky who took the back off the set.” JUDGE: “Really?” RICKY: “Well, now that I think of it...yeah.”
Olsen played a Judge in three other films.
Tumblr media
Fay Roop played a Judge in The Long, Long Trailer (1954). He also played a Judge on “Perry Mason”, “The Twilight Zone”, and several other TV shows and films.
Tumblr media
Jorge Treviño played a Judge in the very first episode of “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” “Lucy Takes a Cruise to Havana” (1957). Treviño had played Ricky's Uncle Alberto when “The Ricardos Visit Cuba” (1956).
Tumblr media
Gale Gordon played Judge Phillips in “Lucy Makes Room for Danny” (1958), an episode of “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” which was a cross-over with “Make Room for Daddy.”
Tumblr media
Ernest Sarracino played the Danfield Judge in “Lucy and the Runaway Butterfly” (1963). After Lucy races through his courtroom with a butterfly net, the Judge explodes at the Prosecuting Attorney.
JUDGE: “Mr. McClay! This is nothing more than a cheap theatrical stunt designed to prejudice the jury! Remove this woman from the courtroom!  Order in the court!” (Lucy’s net lands over the Judge’s head)
In 1966 he played an Italian Judge on “The Red Skelton Show.” He returned for two episodes of “Here's Lucy.”
Tumblr media
Busy character actor Parley Baer played humorless Judge Jack D. Kasten in “Lucy the Meter Maid” (1964). After Lucy attempt to re-enact the circumstance of ticketing Viv’s car, the Judge stops her mid-testimony.
JUDGE KASTEN: “Officer Carmichael, will you please explain the meaning of this travesty?” LUCY: “With the court’s indulgence, I’m trying to establish a time element.”
Baer played MGM’s Mr. Reilly in “Ricky Needs an Agent” (1955) and the furniture salesman Mr. Perry in “Lucy Gets Chummy with the Neighbors” (1957). This is the second of his five appearances on “The Lucy Show,” including another Judge! He also made two appearances on “Here’s Lucy.” He played a Judge on “The Joey Bishop Show” (1964) and “My Living Doll” (1965), both filmed at Desilu Studios. In addtion, he played a Judge on a dozen other film and TV shows.
Tumblr media
Harry Holcombe played a Judge in Yours, Mine and Ours (1968) starring Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda. Holcombe played Judges in 18 film and TV shows, including two episodes of “Perry Mason.” He did background work on “Here’s Lucy,” including the series finale, “Lucy Fights the System” (1974).
Tumblr media
John McGiver played the Judge in “Lucy is Her Own Lawyer” (1964).
JUDGE: “Mrs. Carmichael. Is it absolutely necessary to have this incessant jumping back and forth? You’re making the Bench nervous.”
McGiver previously appeared on the series in “Lucy is a Kangaroo for a Day” (1962). He appeared opposite Lucille Ball as Mr. Babcock in the movie musical Mame (1974), a film that also featured a Judge (see below). He played five other Judges in films and TV shows, including Judge Thatcher in the 1973 musical Tom Sawyer.
Tumblr media
Sid Gould played the Camden Cove Judge in “Lucy and the Soap Opera” (1966).
JUDGE: “Order in the court!” LUCY: “Hear me out, Your Honor!” MR. SHANNON: “Hear her out? Throw her out!”
A frequent supporting player on “The Lucy Show” and “Here’s Lucy,” Gould was Lucille Ball’s cousin by marriage to Gary Morton.
Tumblr media
Parley Baer returned to play another Judge (this time with eyeglasses) when “Lucy Sues Mooney” in 1967.
JUDGE: “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Any lady who would admit to being over thirty must be telling the truth.” MR. MOONEY: “She wouldn’t be telling the truth if she admitted to being over forty!”
Tumblr media
In “Lucy the Conclusion Jumper” (1968), Kim and her classmate Don are talking about keeping a household budget and visiting a city hall Judge for a school project. Lucy jumps to the conclusion they are going to get married! Lucy urges Harry to meet her at the Marriage License Office because she thinks Kim is about to elope with the supermarket box boy. When Harry hestitates, she says:
LUCY: “Well, she’s not going down there just to sing ‘Here comes the Judge! Here comes the Judge!’”
Tumblr media
Two years later, in “Lucy and Sammy Davis Jr.” (1970), Sammy says his producer loves to sue and that his favorite words are...
“Here comes the Judge! Here comes the Judge!”
This is a catch-phrase popularized on “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In”, first spoken by comic Pigmeat Markham, and later by Davis. The NBC show’s second half hour aired opposite “Here’s Lucy.”
Tumblr media
Hayden Rorke plays Judge Gibson in “Lucy and the Raffle” (1971). Coincidentally, the episode also features Gale Gordon and Sid Gould, former Lucyverse Judges. Rorke appeared on stage with Ball in Dream Girl (1947-48), a show which also featured a Judge (see above). He appeared on “I Love Lucy” as one of “The New Neighbors” (1952). Rorke was best known for his role as Dr. Bellows on “I Dream of Jeannie”.
Tumblr media
John Wheeler played Judge Bregoff in Lucille Ball’s Mame (1974). In 1991, he played Judge Ciglio in the TV movie Runaway Father. The film also featured former Lucy Judge John McGiver (see above) as lawyer Babcock.
Tumblr media
Lucy’s final jurist was Allan Rich as Judge Cameron Potter in “Lucy, Legal Eagle” (1986). This was the penultimate aired episode of a Lucille Ball sitcom. Rich started playing Judges on TV in 1976. In 1983, he played four TV Judges, including several appearances on “Hill Street Blues” and “Gimme A Break”. His first big screen Judge was in 1997′s Armistad. In all, Rich donned Judges robes two dozen times!

She-Ra Highschool AU Headcanons:
Catra: Grew up in a group home. Experienced psychological and physical abuse by the women who raised them Sarah Weaver nicknamed shadow weaver. Catra was like a sister and were each others strength. Adora protected her at school and tired and failed to do so at home. Just as good at soccer as Adora but didn't get a scholarship like because of her behaviour history, Adora leaving hurt Catra so much. Catra never tries at almost anything anymore unless it’s out of spit. She gets into fights, smokes weed, and skips class. Smart enough to pass anything but fell behind in class due to factors of not showing up and struggling to pay attention even when she did try. Became close with Scorpia after Adora leaving her without back up.  She acts as the boss in this relationship with Scorpia and Entrapta more than a friend. Catra likes to not be alone and likes them but doesn't want them to get to close. Is working towards saving enough money to get her own place, and hopefully be emancipated before turning eighteen. Offered Scorpia to be her roommate after Adora left if she gets emancipated too.
Adora: Lives in the same foster group home as Catra. Was the favourite of the people who run the home never receiving direct physical abuse and being treated as the one who had a shot to get out. Still deals with emotional neglect having to witness abuse done to Catra and never being able to stop it even when she tried. Got a scholarship to go to a fancy private school on a program to bring in underprivileged students with skills and help them into university.  Adora is exceptionally good at both soccer and martial arts with good grades, winning her the scholarship. Unentionally becomes student body president. Quickly bonds with Glimmer and Bow when they show her real affection she hadn’t experienced before besides Catra and gets to have fun. Befriends the others through the student government and GSA. Feels very bad that she left Catra behind, but doesn't quite notice how upsetting it was to her.
Glimmer: Lives with her mother, they don't get along all the time as her mom is very strict. Glimmer always wants to do her own thing and not be how her mother wants, but fear not being good enough to run the company that was her fathers and then her mothers. Never got to know her father who died when she was an infant. A black belt in Taekwondo president of the school GSA. Has a maybe unfair ability to do what she wants in school as her mother has influence. Gets close to Adora quickly she becomes the third musketeer to Glimmer and Bow. Knows Mermista, Bow, Perfuma and Seahawk from being young having always gone to the same private schools.
Bow: Lives with his two dads, generally his most stress comes from Glimmer always wanting to do something. Vice president of the GSA and in the theatre club with Seahawk. Everyone's mom friend. Loves Adora and is constantly floored that she managed to not do X (birthday parties etc) thing.
Mermista: Capitan of both the crew and swim teams. Dad left her and she is not at all still mad about it noo, lives with her mom. Of Indian descent, rocks desi fashion all the time. Has an on again off again relationship with the co-captain of the crew team named Seahawk. Advocate for saving the oceans loves the beach bonds with Perfuma over like political causes.
Entrapta: An autistic girl who loves robots, it's been her special interest for as long as she can remember and she's really good at it. She wants friends but struggles to make them, Scorpia and Catra are the first to really show interest in her work with robots. She is so done with school wants to go do new things and not deal with stressful social things. She wants to learn what she wants, her parents try to understand and be there but they struggle to really bridge a gap that formed over time.
Scorpia: A foster kid in a different home. Is on the basketball team, the only sports team at the school that's any good. She is the biggest sweetheart even if she comes off as gruff and intimidating. She has dealt with being called homophobic slurs and not being accepted. She bonds with Catra over this and is now easily tugged into Catras plans. Even agreeing to live with Catra if they can be emancipated (her foster home sucks too)
Frosta: Skipped a bunch of grades making her the youngest freshman she’s of native Alaskan descent. Wants to be taken seriously, but ends up pushing the others away by trying to be too mature. On student council, met Perfuma, Mermista and Adora through that. Head of the party committee and a mega skilled figure skater.
Seahawk: True dumbass, co-captain of the Crew team, totally in love with Mermista. Loves musical theatre. Keeps grades just high enough to be on the sports team and do plays.
Perfuma: President of the green club and maintains the school garden. Everyone thinks she’s a stoner but Nah she’s just that chill. Lives in a co-op where they grow their own food but family has a bunch of money for her parents' green tech inventions.  Bonds with Mermista over environmental causes, and meets Frosta & Adora though student council.
Angella: Runs a huge real-estate company, and is the biggest donor to the school, also an alumnus. Strict parent after the death of her husband in a mugging for fear of losing Glimmer. Doesn’t know how to reach Glimmer when they disagree.
Netossa & Spinnerella: College students who intern with Angella’s company, daughters of business associates. The cool lesbian aunts with top-notch advice.
(thanks to this post for the idea)

Thinking about Desi half-white Athos reminded me of Tom Alter (R.I.P), a Bollywood actor of American descent born in India, and his most desi reply ever to a stupid journalist asking how he spoke Hindi so fluently.
"Muh se"
(Translation: From my mouth)
(Actual Translation: Bitch, I was cussing in Hindi before you were even born!)

MORONI OLSEN
June 27, 1889
Tumblr media
Moroni Olsen was born in Ogden, Utah, to Mormon parents. During World War I, he sold war bonds for the US Navy. In 1923, Olsen organized the ‘Moroni Olsen Players' in Ogden. He got his start on Broadway in 1920 starring as Jason (of the Argonauts) in Medea alongside “Lucy” cast member Byron Foulger.  He did nine more Broadway plays through 1935, including playing opposite Helen Hayes in Mary of Scotland, a role he would repeat in the film version with Katharine Hepburn in in 1936. His final two roles on Broadway were opposite another great, Katherine Cornell:  Romeo and Juliet and The Barretts of Wimpole Street.
Tumblr media
After Broadway, he made his film debut in a 1935 adaptation of The Three Musketeers.  A young RKO contract player named Lucille Ball can be glimpsed among the background players. He later played a different role in a 1939 comedy version of the story, starring Don Ameche as D'Artagnan and the Ritz Brothers. He even did a third version titled At Sword’s Point (aka Sons of the Musketeers) starring “Lucy” guest star Cornel Wilde. Olsen returned to the role of Porthos, now elderly, that he created in 1935. Alan Hale Jr. played his son, also named Porthos.
Tumblr media
A year later, in 1936, Lucille Ball’s name was finally among the credits (though not yet on the poster) with Olsen in The Farmer in the Dell.
Tumblr media
His most famous role was the voice of the Slave in the Magic Mirror in Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). He was also heard but not seen as the voice of Joseph, the senior angel in It's a Wonderful Life (1946).
Tumblr media
Olsen did two films with William Frawley: Rose of Washington Square (1939) and We’ve Never Been Licked (1943).
Tumblr media
In Kay Kyser’s That’s Right, You’re Wrong (1939) a brunette Lucille Ball was was finally on the poster, and Olsen was not!
Tumblr media
In 1952, Olsen appeared as the Judge on the “I Love Lucy” episode “The Courtroom” (ILL S2;E7). Olsen previously played a Judge in East of the River (1940) starring John Garfield and Off the Record (1939) with Pat O’Brien.
Tumblr media
In 1954, he played Mr. Tewitt in Lucy and Desi’s The Long, Long Trailer.  Olsen plays the man Taci (Desi) dissuades from buying a trailer as the film begins. The film is told in flashback to justify his opinion.
Tumblr media
In October 1954, Olsen played a police officer on an episode of “December Bride”, a Desilu series featuring “I Love Lucy” actors Harry Cheshire, Verna Felton, and Sam McDaniel.
Tumblr media
A month later, Olsen died of a heart attack at age 65. He left one film and one television episode to be aired posthumously. Unmarried with no children, Olsen was survived by his nephew, Edward.
