Life has been good since I last wrote. Work has slowed way down and will remain that way until the end of the year. :) I've had plenty of time to relax and spend with loved ones.
Derek and I spent Christmas Eve with his parents. We went out to dinner and then had a bunch of homemade cookies for dessert. I'm really grateful and lucky that I have them as parental figures, since I'm lacking my own. I used to distrust and be wary of all parents and family units because my relationship with mine is/was so bad. It took me a long time to warm up to Derek's parents and brothers. It's great that I have his parents as parental figures, but also it's sad, because I know they won't be around one day and losing them will be awful. I try to focus on the fact that they're around now, and we enjoy our time together as a family. We had a family Christmas with my brother- and sister-in-law and nieces on Sunday, as well as Derek's grandmother. :)
I got to spontaneously have lunch with a friend I haven't seen in months yesterday!! We went out to this very cute homestyle Vietnamese place. It felt so indulgent and cozy to sit by the window on a gray afternoon, on a workday!, and have good food and catch up with an old friend.
I finished Horrorstor, by Grady Hendrix. Highly recommend to fans of horror, haters of capitalism, and people who have worked retail. I am currently listening to We Sold Our Souls, by Grady Hendrix. This is the last book of his I haven't read yet, and I'll be sad when I have to start waiting for his new releases instead of making my way through the back catalog.
I'm not big into the beauty world/scene, but I have enjoyed getting back into the habit of doing my own nails again. Having a fresh coat of polish is a small thing but feels so good. Red and dark purple are my usual lipstick shades for work/going to family stuff etc., but I've also found this more natural pink/berry shade that I love for everyday gym/ runningerrands. I've found that small things like a bit of lip color, having my nails polished, a little necklace or earrings, give me an extra bit of confidence in my look, as someone who's struggled with that for my whole life.

You scrunched your face up, letting out a sigh as you adjusted the ribbon that was tied around your waist, making sure the bow was perfect. It had now become a tradition every year for you and Derek to wear matching costumes at Halloween. You didn’t care much for the holiday before you met him, but he soon changed that. Derek was an absolute sucker for Halloween. He treated it with just as much excitement as he did Christmas, maybe even more so.
This year you were both dressed as the Grady twins from The Shining, his idea, obviously. He was so excited about it, he got ready in less than 5 minutes, rushing to your changing room to see how you looked. He was stood like an impatient little toddler waiting for you to come out. “You still alive in there?” He joked after not receiving a response from you.
“I look stupid.” You whined, examining yourself in the full length mirror.
“Heeey!” Derek gasped, clutching his chest in a fake offence. “We’re matching. If you look stupid, then so do I!”
You couldn’t help but smile. Even though the two of you were separated by a red silk curtain, you could still imagine the exaggerated look on his face. “I bet you 10 bucks that you look better than I do.”
“Well…” He supposed, a prominent smirk on his face. “I do look pretty good.” He could hear your scoff through the fabric, causing the smirk on his face to break into a toothy grin. “But not as good as you! C’mon, Y/N, I bet you look fang-tastic!”
Suddenly, the curtain flung open, revealing you stood with your eyebrow raised at the 6’2 boy. “Fang-tastic?”
He burst out laughing at the expression on your face, “I’m sorry, that was really bad. Hey, you look amazing! Ten times better than me.” His tone was sincere, you could tell he meant what he was saying. You gave him a warm smile as he wrapped his arms around your shoulder, engulfing you by his side in an embrace. “You know, that means you owe me 10 bucks, right?” Derek whispered in your ear, playfully nudging your arm as the two of you exited the costume store.

Every year Woodsboro held a Halloween festival in the towns centre with attractions ranging all the way from apple bobbing to pumpkin carving. Some may say it was in poor taste, given what happened a year prior, but you and Derek disagreed. It was a fun occasion that brought people together, where was the harm in that?
“Thank you.” You beamed as Derek handed you a slice of freshly cut pumpkin pie from one of the stalls. He smiled, giving the woman a $10 note in return for a second slice, and leaning up against the wooden shack.
“So, what d’you feel like doing first?” He asked, taking a chunk out of his piece of pie.
You bit your lip, taking a look around. “Oh my god, the haunted house!” You gasped.
“Alright.” Your boyfriend supposed, tilting his head to the side with a smile, “As long as you’re not too scared.”
You opened your mouth in a false bid of shock, jokingly smacking him on the chest. “Oh, please, you scream like a girl! Last year when that fake spider fell on your head, you were literally on the verge of tears!”
The brunette boy enclasped your hand with his, pressing a kiss to your palm as the two of you made your way over. “Not true! I was allergic to the carpet in there.” He told you, defending himself. There were at least 10 witnesses you could get to back you up, but you decided to let Derek win this one.

Let me put out this shameless self-promo for other blogs that I actually have running and I hope you guys will all have fun adding them if you please!
Janis - From the Inuyasha video game Secret of the Divine Jewel!
Link - This Link is an amalgamation of a bunch of the different video games, so very heavily Canon Divergent.
Crysta - From Ferngully. Please, please, please give her some attention. I have never actually gotten to utilize this muse and interactions would be so fun! I play her anywhere in the timeline, from before she met Zack in the movie, to after when she's learned how to control her powers.
Fawn - From the newer Tinkerbell movies. Another muse very rarely utilized, if ever. I will love you guys forever if she got some attention!
Kurama - From YuYu Hakusho! One of my strongest muses, and also one of my best. I resonate really well with my foxy ragechild, and he is almost always active. It would be really fun to get some stuff going with him.
Terra - From Kingdom Hearts. Also really resonate with this boyo. He is one of my other favorite and fun characters to play as, but I have also rarely utilized him so some interactions would be fun to say the least!
Lelouch - From Code Geass. LET. HIM. HAVE. THE. WORLD. Not literally, but figuratively. I love Lelouch with every fiber of my being and he is another muse that I absolutely adore and will love you forever for interacting with.
Derek - From the Swan Princess series of movies. This little dummy is a sweetheart, please feel free to go and bug him. I will forever give you cookies. This dumb Himbo lives in my brain rent free.
Mushrambo - From Shinzo! And the list of REALLY OBSCURE MUSES CONTINUES. LIsten, I haven't seen the Shinzo anime/tv series/cartoon whatever it was actually in FOREVER but Mushrambo also lives in my head rent free and I have clips on standby from the show to watch just for characterization purposes because this man is absolutely WORTH IT.
Katerina - AND FINALLY, my OC Katerina!! She has a bio if you follow the link to her page, and I love her to pieces. This is my comfort muse. I will never NOT have muse for this beautiful sweet precious girl. My foxy little fox. Please and thank you forever if you give me interactions with her. I could say twenty-bajillion things about her and it will never be enough so just... y'know. Go check her out!!

derek was in a bar, where all around him were supernaturals and no one approached derek cause everyone was scared of him due to his aura. one day stiles finds him and everyone else in the bar is at high alert because they think he's a human(im not sure about this part). but derek let's him come closer and there is a terse talk where stiles is like why did you leave and all. at the end they leave together or something

The shout rang through the bar and for a long moment nobody moved. It was like something out of a movie. Everything just stopped; the music cut off; one of the servers had frozen mid-pour. Grady would have laughed if he weren't holding his breath. The kid straightened his shirt, a glimpse of stomach showing the curling edges of a tattoo on his hip, and strode toward where Hale was sitting in the dark corner. As one, every supe in the place turned to see Hale's reaction; the last person to try to confront Hale in here had left with a broken hand and a whispered threat that the next time Hale would rip their throat out. With his teeth. Unsurprisingly, Hale's face was set in its usual glower, although it seemed a bit softer around the eyes. It took Grady a second to realise Hale knew the kid.

Summary:
“Are you my sugar daddy?” Stiles blurts out, slapping a hand over his mouth when his brain catches up to his mouth. The man lets out a soft laugh, making his way around the couch till he’s standing just feet away from Stiles. Stiles can smell his cologne from here, it smells heavenly, Stiles kinda wants to bury his face into the guy's chest so he can figure out exactly what it is.
“If that’s what you’d like to call it.” The man smiles, Stiles doesn’t think he should be allowed to smile like that. All soft and gorgeous and way too pretty to be legal. He’s still not convinced any of this is real.
Stiles loses his wallet, someone returns it along with $5,000. Shit keeps coming, Stiles life doesn't make any sense anymore, he's just going with it.
