Person A: "...Why are you cradling a human pup?"
Person B: "Their mother gave them to me, I'm going to raise them."
Person A: "...Please tell me this is another one of your bizarre practical jokes, my Lord."
Person B: "It is not."
Person A: "B-But you're a Demon Lord, and you're in line for the throne! You can't raise a human! I understand if you feel sorry for the pitiful little thing, but you can just give it to one of the human families taking refuge in our territory! Many would even be honoured to be given such a task by their saviour!"
Person B: "I can't do that."
Person A: "Why not?!"
Person B: "The mother was dying, she begged me to protect them and formally adopt them as my own in exchange for her rapidly fading soul."
Person A: "And you agreed to such a pathetic deal?!"
Person B: "I did... And you know I never break a contract."

Demon Lord, Orcus
Tumblr media
Image © TSR Inc, by Todd Lockwood.
[Sponsored by @tar-baphon. Orcus is one of the iconic D&D villains, and through the SRD and plausible deniability (he's a Roman god!), he's in Pathfinder as well. In Pathfinder, he is deliberately not a power player, and my flavor text takes that already metatextual decision and runs hog wild with it.
A note on the art: I feel like Orcus is emblematic of when D&D was seen as dangerous, and this piece absolutely feels like it should be the cover of a Black Sabbath album. It's no surprise that I was fascinated with the anti-D&D strain of the Satanic Panic when I was a kid. Also, although there has been some course correction in the 5e era, there's a trend with Orcus in a lot of art, including his official Pathfinder depiction, of making Orcus buff. Let Orcus be fat!]
Demon Lord, Orcus CR 28 CE Outsider (extraplanar) This humanoid is a corpulent giant with skin mottled like a decaying corpse. He has great black bat-wings growing from his shoulders, hooves for feet, and the head of a goat. He clutches a short staff, tipped with an oversized human skull.
Orcus, Prince of Undeath CE male demon lord of death, necromancy and wrath Domains  Chaos, Death, Evil, Magic Subdomains Demon, Divine, Murder, Undead Favored Weapon heavy mace Unholy Symbol a goat’s head with curving horns Worshipers liches, necromancers, sapient undead Minions boneclaws, deathdrinkers, demons, other undead For information on his Obedience and boons for his worshipers, see Book of the Damned
Orcus is one of the most powerful demon lords in the Universe. But not on Golarion. On that world, his is one of a number of undead cults, and not nearly the most popular. Orcus has a clear hierarchy to what undead he considers truly worthy, with those created from contagion seen as inferior to accident, and those inferior to those who intentionally seek out undeath. His most dedicated worshippers on Golarion are liches, some of whom have learned the secret of crafting a phylactery by teasing apart the Prince of Undeath’s wisdom from his threats. The followers of many other undead-focused religions, particularly vampires and ghouls, see Orcus as pretentious and unworthy of dedication, although few are foolish enough to directly oppose him.
Orcus himself knows that his star has fallen. In his extensive research into planar lore, Orcus has learned that he was once the most feared being in another universe, who went on a killing spree that left several gods dead and an entire race of lawful outsiders duped into being his pawns. That Orcus cannot accomplish this level of power in this version of reality vexes and frustrates him, and he takes his rage out on his minions as much as he does his foes.
Orcus is a genius tactician, although his temper sometimes gets the better of him. He enjoys combat as a distraction from his cosmic-level sulk, and as a way of expressing his power over others. He typically opens combat with a time stop to summon allies and cast defensive spells on himself, and then unleashes a potent death effect as soon as the duration expires. Against creatures that can resist his negative energy and poison, he uses dispelling magic. On more than one occasion, Orcus has beaten a cocky archmage to a pulp by centering an antimagic field on himself and wading into combat.
Orcus in the Great Game Orcus’ response to the brewing theomachy between Mormo and Lamashtu is cautious optimism. He desires more power in the Abyss, and Lamashtu could open the door for him to seize it. Kabriri and Zura are at the top of Orcus’ hit list, but views a direct assault on them as currently too risky to be worth the effort. If one of them were to make a move against Lamashtu and be punished for it, or if they were struck down in the scramble for power following Lamashtu’s (theoretical) demotion or demise, Orcus would happily swoop in to finish them off.  And if Mormo is capable of legitimately slaying a god, Orcus will be very keen to study her techniques.
Wand of Orcus (major artifact) The Wand of Orcus is the Prince of Undeath’s scepter of office, and it never leaves his side. Lesser versions have appeared in the Material Plane, often created by Orcus or one of his high-level clerics. The real Wand of Orcus is a Huge +5 anarchic, unholy heavy mace. In the hands of a demon, it grants a +4 profane bonus to Armor Class. The first time the Wand of Orcus strikes a living creature in a round, that creature is subject to a slay living spell (DC 30). He gets access to domain slots, and can fill them with spells from any of his domains or subdomains. He can also spontaneously cast inflict spells as an evil cleric can. EMERGENCY REQS MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Muzan subtly observes the changes in your demeanor. He notices the shadows lingering in your eyes and the heaviness in your steps, prompting his concern.
Choosing a moment when you're alone after the Upper Moons' meeting, Muzan approaches with a gentle yet commanding presence. "You seem troubled, Y/N. Would you mind sharing what's on your mind?" he inquires, his crimson eyes reflecting a genuine interest in you situation.
As you begin to pour out your feelings, Muzan listens attentively. His expression remains composed. "Take your time," he assures, providing a rare display of patience, allowing you to continue to share your feelings at your own pace.
When you finish, Muzan responds with unexpected empathy. "I understand the pain you're facing."
Sensing your escalating anxiety, Muzan calmly guides you through a breathing exercise. "Inhale deeply, exhale slowly. Focus on the rhythm. It helps to ground yourself," he advises, a hint of concern in his usually composed voice.
"Even demons endure their share of internal turmoil. It's a part of existence. But acknowledging it is the first step toward overcoming," he admits, his gaze momentarily distant.
As the conversation progresses, Muzan offers a protective assurance. "You have strength within you. This storm will pass, and you will emerge resilient."
In the days that follow, Muzan subtly displays care. Little gestures of support — small yet significant actions that convey his genuine concern for your well-being, like rubbing your shoulder or checking upon you throughout the day.
Whenever you find yourself in need, Muzan becomes a reliable shoulder for you to lean on. You can approach him, pouring your heart out without the fear of judgment for what he might consider mortal stupid things. Instead, he listens attentively, offering comfort and genuine efforts to lift your spirits.

Reverse isekai idea where the hero party is facing the demon king or final boss who ever that ends up being, and they’re totally winning, and then the guy cheats and sends all of them to another dimension. That other dimension is of course our own, but instead of being our size, they’re about the size of dolls or action figures, smaller than 1:6 scale. Their guide in this world is an office lady who’s a hardcore miniaturist who uses her higher up office job to pay for her hobby, and is delighted to help these tiny people with magic powers. The series would explore the hobby and our world while trying to find a way to get the heroes home to finally defeat the final boss like they planned. Also, the wizard has to be madly in love with the giant office lady. It’s a rule.

Demon Lord, Aldinach
Tumblr media
Image © Paizo Publishing
[Sponsored by @vonbaghager . While doing my research for this entry, I noticed something interesting. Aldinach and Areshkagal are enemies in Pathfinder. Aldinach is the name of an Egyptian demon, but looks like a Mesopotamian scorpion-man, whereas Areshkagal gets her name from the Sumerian Ereshkigal but looks like an Egyptian sphinx. Maybe that's why they hate each other.]
Demon Lord, Aldinach CR 28 CE Outsider (extraplanar)
This creature is a golden scorpion the size of a house, except that her head is that of a bald, fanged human woman. Her claws are enormous, made out of blood-red crystal. A mass of seething scorpions crawls along her back and sides.
Aldinach, She of Six Venoms, Lord of Scorpions CE female demon lord of sand, scorpions and thirst Domains Animal, Chaos, Evil, Sun Subdomains Demon, Feather, Fur, Light Favored Weapon kukri Unholy Symbol gold scorpion with sand dripping from its claws Worshipers girtabilus, chaotic phaerimm, torturers Minions fiendish earth elementals, giant scorpions For information on Aldinach’s obedience and boons, see the Book of the Damned
Aldinach is the demon lord of sand, scorpions and thirst. She rules the Sea of Whispering Sands, a layer of nearly infinite deserts she stole from her sister Areshkagal. and continues to defend it from Areshkagal’s servitors. Aldinach has the infinite patience of an ambush predator, and the persistence of the constant erosion created by a sandstorm. She believes that she will outlast the Faceless Sphinx and maintain her rule through sheer tenacity.  That Areshkagal has yet to give up is a source of frustration, but not an insurmountable one, and the two demon lords continue to clash in proxy wars via their cults and servitors.
Aldinach usually opens any confrontation by summoning a supernaturally deadly sandstorm. Anyone who resists being immediately flensed is then met in direct combat. She of Six Venoms, as the title suggests, is a master of poisons. Her venom and any created by a spell she casts ignores almost all immunity to poison, and she can tailor the effects of her venom in order to ruin the bodies and minds of her enemies. The infinite swarm of scorpions clinging to her is an extension of her body, and quickly shred and envenom anyone who dares to strike her.
Aldinach’s worshipers tend to be as determined and patient as the Lord of Scorpions herself. The tortures of Aldinach include envenomation and thirst, neither of which are typically fast deaths, and cultists will repeatedly heal their victims and give them just enough water to live, extending the torment to weeks or months. One of Aldinach’s goals is the expansion of deserts, the better to create hard, dangerous environments to breed hard, dangerous souls. Some of her subtlest worshipers masquerade as aqueduct engineers or farming specialists, claiming to be able to eke more out of lean land but in reality spreading the desert.

SQ demon lord traits
Ecology Environment any deserts (The Abyss) Organization unique Treasure triple standard
Special Abilities Command Vermin (Su) Aldinach can command creatures of the vermin type to do her bidding as a move action, either via using his ability to speak with vermin or via telepathy. This affects vermin within 300 feet (Will DC 36 negates). This functions like mass suggestion, but can affect mindless creatures. Aldinach can suggest obviously harmful or suicidal acts (though non-mindless creatures gain a +10 bonus on their saving throws against these suggestions). The commanded course of activity can have a duration of up to 1 hour. If Aldinach issues a new command to a creature, the previous command is discarded. Once a creature succeeds at its save against this effect, it is immune to further commands from Aldinach for 24 hours. The save DC is Charisma-based. Crystalline Claws (Ex) Aldinach’s claw attacks threaten a critical hit on a roll of 19-20, and deals x3 damage on a successful critical hit. Flensing Storm (Su) As a standard action, Aldinach can conjure a supernatural sandstorm at a range of up to 300 feet. The storm fills a sphere in a 40 foot radius, blocking vision as a fog cloud, and dealing 10d6 points of slashing damage and 1d4 Constitution damage a round. A successful DC 36 Reflex save negates the Constitution damage and halves the slashing damage. As a move action, Aldinach can move the storm up to 60 feet. Aldinach can see through her own flensing storms without penalty. A flensing storm can only be dispersed with wind of hurricane force or stronger, and lasts for 2 minutes. Aldinach can use this ability at will, but can only have one flensing storm in existence at a time. The save DC is Charisma based. Poison (Ex) Sting or swarm skin—injury; save Fort DC 41; duration 1/round for 6 rounds; damage 2d4 Str, Dex, Int, Wis or Cha damage or 1d6 Con damage; cure 3 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution based. She of Six Venoms (Su) Aldinach can change what ability score her poison deals damage to as an immediate action. She can change the ability damage for her swarm skin ability separately. Any poison damage dealt by Aldinach ignores all poison immunity except from a mythic source. Speak with Vermin (Sp) This functions as speak with animals, except that Aldinach can communicate with creatures of the vermin type. Summon Demons and Scorpions (Sp) When Aldinach uses her summon demons ability, she may also summon giant scorpions of any size with the demonic vermin or half-fiend templates. Swarm Skin (Su) Any creature that touches Aldinach with a melee weapon, natural weapon, touch attack or unarmed strike must succeed a DC 33 Reflex save or take 5d6 points of slashing and piercing damage and be exposed to her poison. Manufactured weapons with the reach property do not endanger their wielder in this way. The save DC is Dexterity based. Swift Sting (Ex) Aldinach can make a single sting attack as a swift action. This is in addition to all of the attacks she makes as a full attack action.

Emergency request
Good morning!
I wanted to request a comfort fic With one of the following KNY men: Tsugikuni brothers, Muzan or Haganezuka. For over a week I've been dealing with immense lower back pain, I've been to an orthopedist and the painkillers he prescribed help me to some extent, but the pain is still there. I don't know if there is any serious damage, I didn't fall or injure myself in any way for it to happen, I have an X-ray in 12 days, but if it gets worse I'll go to the ER. So far it's suspicious that it's sciatica and overweight from my weight causing this pain. (As if my worsened mental state since November and the stress of failing a semester in college weren't enough). I just need a bit of comfort, I feel like I'm about to have another breakdown this year...
I hope it won't be too much for you to write something to cheer me up a little.
Buziaki, Kamila.
Tumblr media
Warnings: female demon!reader Synopsis: following your transformation into a demon, you endure intense pain, and it's Muzan who offers you solace A/N: I'm truly sorry to hear about the pain you've been experiencing. It's understandable that this has been a challenging time for you, especially with the added stress of college. Please know that you're not alone in this, you can always reach out to me, and there are steps we can take to address your lower back pain. While you wait for your appointment, consider some gentle stretches and exercises that can help alleviate sciatica symptoms. Additionally, maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise can indeed reduce the strain on your lower back. I encourage you to reach out to a physical therapist who can provide you with a tailored exercise plan to manage your pain. I hope you find solace in this short fic. Writing for Muzan isn't my strong suit, but I gave it my all ♥
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
In the dimly lit chamber, you lay on your side, clutching a pillow to your chest to alleviate some of the pain in your lower back. The recent transition into a demon had been both thrilling and agonizing, leaving you in a constant state of discomfort. Tonight, it seemed like the pain was unbearable.
Just as you were on the verge of tears, the sliding door to your room opened silently, and a tall, enigmatic figure stepped in. It was Muzan, the Demon King himself. His crimson eyes locked onto yours as he approached your bedside. Without a word, he gracefully sat down beside you. His touch was surprisingly gentle as he lifted your trembling hand, examining it for any signs of distress. His voice, smooth as silk, resonated in the room. "You seem to be in pain, my dear."
You couldn't help but nod, tears welling up in your eyes. Muzan's fingers traced the contours of your face, his touch strangely soothing. "There, there," he cooed softly. "I can take your pain away."
With a flick of his fingers, a small orb of blood-red energy materialized, hovering above your lower back. As it descended, a warm, comforting sensation washed over you, and the pain began to subside. It was as if Muzan had the power to mend your very soul.
You watched in awe as he continued to manipulate the energy, kneading away the tension and discomfort. Muzan's gaze never left yours, and there was a warmth in his eyes that defied his reputation as a ruthless demon lord. "Feel better now, my sweet creation?" he inquired softly.
You nodded, a sense of tranquility washing over you. "Thank you, Muzan," you whispered, your voice filled with gratitude.
He leaned closer, his lips hovering over your forehead. He gently tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and whispered softly, "You have no idea how much you mean to me. You are my dearest creation, and I will always protect and care for you," he murmured before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.
Muzan's crimson eyes never wavered from your form. Deep inside yet, a complex blend of emotions swirled within him. Anger simmered beneath the surface, frustration at how long it was taking for you to recover after the transformation. He was the demon king, and his creations should be strong, should adapt swiftly. His fingers, which had been tracing soothing patterns on your arm, tightened imperceptibly. Inwardly, he questioned whether choosing you as another Upper Moon had been the right decision. The Upper Moons were meant to be his elite, his most powerful creations, and your slow progress irked him. Yet, hidden beneath that veneer of frustration and anger, there was another feeling that Muzan kept well-guarded. It was a sense of conviction, a belief that choosing you as an Upper Moon had been not just a good choice but perhaps the only possible one. Deep inside, he recognized a great strength within you, a potential that had yet to fully manifest. There was a reason he had chosen you, a reason beyond what met the eye. He saw in you a future that held the promise of greatness, a strength that would one day rival even his own.
As you rested in Muzan's presence, the lingering concern about the pain after your transformation nagged at you. With a sense of trust growing between you and Kibutsuji, you mustered the courage to speak. "Muzan-sama," you began softly, "can you tell me how long this pain from the transformation will endure? It's been quite overwhelming, and I'm worried about what lies ahead."
Muzan's gaze never left yours, and his fingers continued to trace soothing patterns on your arm. He let out a sigh, almost as if he had been expecting this question. "My dear, the pain varies from person to person. Some demons adapt quickly, while others take more time. It perfectly normal, all you need to do is to be patient." He paused, his eyes flickering with a hint of sympathy. "But I promise you this: with time, the pain will lessen. Your body will adjust to its newfound strength and resilience. And I will be here to guide you every step of the way. You'll become a powerful demon, you'll grow stronger every day."
You nodded, feeling reassured by his words. It was comforting to know that Muzan, despite his intimidating exterior, was willing to offer guidance and support during your transition into a demon. "Thank you, my lord," you whispered, your gratitude evident in your voice.
He leaned closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he murmured, "You don't have to thank me, Y/N. You are mine, and I will ensure that you thrive in this new existence. Now, rest."
As you closed your eyes, wrapped in the comfort of his embrace, you realized that perhaps, in this moment, Muzan wasn't just the fearsome demon king but also a source of unexpected solace in your new life as a demon.
