The Cabal (Earth-4339)

Here’s another part of the Oliverse I’ve been working on: the twisted versions of its heroes and villains known simply as The Cabal.

This version of The Cabal reside in the dystopian universe of Earth-4339, a dark parrallel universe to the Oliverse created by an catastrophic event known as the “Midtown Massacre” that took the lives of several innocent civilains and heroes in New York, spurring the Oliver Osnick of this universe, corrupted by a powerful relic called the Siege Perilous, to prevent any criminal or terrorist activity before it happens. A goal he plans to see through with the aid of his Perennial Army (Symbiote/Cybernetic-Hybrids) and his inner circle of those who either agree his views or side with him out of fear for their survival.

Demogoblin vs. Code Blue

Demogoblin has been around since INFERNO. At this point, he's recently separated from Jason Macendale and this story follows the INFINITY WAR-related events of SPIDER-MAN 24. We're going to see a lot more of this character over the next 2 years.

Code Blue are a special NYPD unit and we've mostly seen them in THOR up to this point. They'll be popping up in various places over the next 5 years.

These 8 pages are a half-hearted attempt at a story where Demogoblin fights Code Blue. The art is great. But actual events are bland. It's feels like a script that exists to get Demogoblin from A to B to set stuff up that will pay off in WEB OF SPIDER-MAN.
