Greetings friend, I feel I owe it to you to to finally reply to this request; after all it has been some time. I decided to answer this by revealing different memories/happenings during this friendship instead of going indept into the emotional aspects.  Fun fact; I will do The Terror Trio in another post, because I do believe that friendship deserves a bigger spotlight on the blog.

Their first meeting did not herald a close friendship whatsoever, in fact, Demetri ran when The Volturi showed up in Egypt to barter his inclusion into the guard. It was of course Felix who ran after the spooked Vampire, neatly apprehending him and bringing the tracker back as he kicked and screamed. Demetri watched Aro and Amun's discussion with Felix's hand gently wrapped around his neck, convinced he would never like the older vampire.

While Felix's Greek has never been the best, he made an effort of trying to only converse with Demetri in his mother tongue when he first joined The Volturi. The tracker was terribly skittish in the beginning, and Felix made a point out of ensuring that he was as comfortable as he could be. About six months into service Demetri finally told Felix why he was acting the way he was.

Once upon a time the two of them were ambushed by a Child of The Moon due to a mistake Demetri made. Felix ended up with a scar on his arm that would ache from time to time. Two weeks after the incident Demetri showed up to one of the feedings with a shockingly similar scar on the opposite arm, no one dared ask how he managed to do such a thing.

The two of them has masqueraded as courtiers in several royal courts over the centuries, their favourite time to 'be alive' was during the Renaissance in Italy. Never had Demetri felt like he learned more than during that time, and Felix gladly sat through every excited rambling

Whenever Demetri needs to clear his mind he runs straight for the sea, walking along the shore in all sorts of weather, regardless of season or warnings. Felix is always twenty steps behind him if he is able to come along.

One time the two of them got raging drunk on one of Corin's stronger batches of Blood-Wine they nearly passed out in the piazza outside of the palazzo. They talked for so many hours they did not even notice the sun coming up, they barely dodged some early bird tourists and kept the secret intact through sheer luck. They never spoke of the incident again.

The two of them have matching rings that they always wear over their gloves. While the band is rather discreet, it has one peridot gem set into the gold—Demetri found the gemstones when he was once tracking a wayward nomad in the middle east.

It is Felix that predominantly takes care of Elizabeth when Demetri is out during longer tracking missions. While Heidi is more than capable of taking care of both Elizabeth and Gustav, the trackers little diva can always be found curled up in Felix's quarters.

Hi, I am wondering how would you rank yandere Volturi (the kings + guards) with a human obsession from worst to best (how bad and suffocating is it for reader, how easily it is for them to break? Etc)

Healing in Time

Demetri Volturi x reader

Summary: Demetri driving his mate to therapy, as he expresses how proud he is of them for healing.

A/N: I’m back… I wrote a comfort fic as I’ve been away dealing with things so yay I’ve returned!! I wrote this in first person which is different than my other fics. I apologize !!

There I was, sitting in Demetri’s car. It was raining that day. The clouds covered the beautiful sky, yet it somehow made the world look poetic every time it would rain. It was slightly colder outside, it made the leather of Demetri’s seats feel colder against my skin through my hoodie. It was that time of the week again, where I had therapy. I looked over to see Demetri’s eyes focused on the road navigating through the rain. He always had the most beautiful concentrated face. His eyes were narrow, he clenched his jaw at every red light with his lips slightly pursed. I knew he always hated waiting. He was wearing blue contacts with a tight black t-shirt paired with black jeans and his Trenchcoat. His free hand held mine tightly as he ran his thumb across my knuckles. It’s amazing how he was always so good at instantly calming my nerves. There was nowhere I wanted to be other than in his arms, I felt the safest when he was holding me. I always wanted to be near him, and I knew the mate bond made it painful to be away from him, but I could never stop myself from needing him around. He was my protector, my sunshine.

“So darling, I know you’ve been going for around six months now, but I’m really proud of you. You’re so strong, you know that? It takes courage to do this… Hell I never would.” He said in that low accent of his, but he mumbled the last part and let out a soft sigh as he parked and wrapped his arms around me for a second. “I know it works for you, and I’m proud of you for getting better, I love you so much. You know I’m here for you through your healing process, okay? You’re even moving in the castle with me.” He said with a soft smile forming on his perfect lips. He brought his cold hand up to my cheek and softly as he stroked it. “I love you too Metri… and I know you are. You know how much I appreciate you, it’s more than life. You rescued me. You saved me, and I know I’m safe with you.” I whispered, as I couldn’t help feeling the tears begin to well into my eyes. He was proud of me, god I haven’t heard those words in so long. I felt his thumb run across my cheek wiping away the tears as I sniffed “I’ve got you. Forever.” He whispered back as he pressed a soft kiss to my head “I’ll be right here for when you get out of therapy, it’s just an hour, I’ll be here.” He says with a soft smile taking off his jacket to give to me. I slipped it across my shoulders, and for him being cold, it felt quite warm. It smelled like his cologne and that was more than comforting, it felt like I had him there with me.

I gave him one last smile as I said “I can do this! I-I got this!” I exclaim with a nod. With that, I stepped out of his car into the dreary weather and headed into the building.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Being he is a high member of the Volturi guard, Demetri will keep the affection to you in private. But don’t get me wrong the mans is all over you. I’m talking bringing you into hugs, holding you and preventing you from leaving, kisses to your head, rubbing your back, and giving light touches as he passes. Sometimes when he’s with Felix or Santiago he’ll keep his arm around you just to have it there. But in the throne room, he’s as professional as can be.

B = Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

To be honest you two hated each other in the beginning (which makes your enemies-to-lovers fantasy come to life). You thought he was a player and arrogant. He thought you were stubborn and uptight. It didn’t help you two often were partnered up with Felix to run missions since you had the power to essentially bring ‘bad luck’ on other vampires. “Could you do your best to keep up next time, Y/n?” He hissed at you, throwing pieces of limp into the fire. “Hmmmm, no.”

Eventually you became ‘friends’ which was more like a rivalry with bickering that had you two always competing with each other. It was entertaining to the other members who took bets on how long it would take the two of you to admit you loved each other. Surprisingly, Alec won.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Yes, yes, and yes. There’s nothing like ending the day after meetings and executions to some cuddles by the fire with you in his arms. Demetri lives for them. He loves to spoon you with your back to his chest as you both lay on your side. Sometimes he enjoys having you sprawled out on top of him so he can tuck your face into his neck and nuzzle into your hair.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Settling down in his terms would be you becoming a vampire if you weren’t already and moving into Volterra castle to be with him. Demetri had a duty to his coven and could not leave no matter how much he longed for you two to get your own place away. After some time, Aro did allow you two to go on vacations at least once every decade.

Please. This is a Greek man living in Italy who once lived in Egypt. Of course he knows how to cook and make some damn good food. If you’re human when you two get together than Demetri is very hands on with making you meals. It makes him feel the humanity he lost. And of course he knows how to clean up after himself. He is a well established gentleman after all.

E = Ending (if they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Considering you two are more than likely mates….he’s not letting you go anytime soon. Or ever.

F = Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Demetri would actually want to get married if you desired. It was something you two discussed. Already he had you as his mate and calling you his spouse would be the icing on the cake. It was after several years together he randomly said, “you wanna get married?” And you were like, “Shit, you’re serious.” Then mans whips out a ring that cost more than your life’s worth and goes, “Very.”

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Being gentle was something he had to learn in your relationship. Demetri really didn’t know how to go about your emotions in the beginning and if you were human he was afraid to hold you for fear his strength would harm you. It took some time but eventually he learned and is extremely gentle and attentive toward you in every sense.

H = Hugs (do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He never did before he met you. Hugs were nonexistent to him because he never had something so intimidate with someone before. Sure he was a player and did have sexual involvement with humans and vampires alike, but it was never to the point where he felt comfortable with affection. The first time you hugged him he was confused on what to do. Afterwards he became the one to initiate the hug. His favorites are when the one of you return from a mission the other wasn’t on. Demetri will speed to you and lift you up in a spin causing your laughter to echo against the walls.

I = I love you (how fast do they say the L-word?)

The second he realized what you were to him he already felt an immense wave of love for you. He said it pretty fast too, all things considered. It was probably around the three month mark he did just to not make you uncomfortable. You felt the pull also, which was a relief to Demetri, but you didn’t want to say you loved him just yet out of fear things would go wrong. After he explained your bond you very welcoming to his words and even repeated them when he said them for the first time.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

It’s his middle name. He is good at remaining calm, but inside he is steaming with jealousy. If a new member of the guard is flirting with you, Demetri is by you in a flash glaring at them and (quite frankly) threatening them to back off before they find themselves in pieces. It’s flattering and annoying at times, especially when you’re just having an innocent conversation with someone.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

If he could have it his way, Demetri would be making out with you every second of the day. He’s addicted to your lips and loves to kiss you. Kisses with the tracker are passionate and full of love. They are teasing—which leaves you wanting more, and sometimes does in fact lead to more. “You can’t just kiss me like that and walk away, Demetri.” “Well then get over here and do something about it.”

L = Little ones (how are they around children?)

They don’t really get any children around the castle (except when feeding which you were like, ‘not on my watch,’) but if you two came in contact with any he’d be nervous. Demetri would play it cool and stay calm, but inside he’d be intimidated because of his strength and speed. “Dem, are you okay?” “Can we go now? Please.”

M = Morning (how are mornings spent with them?)

If you’re a vampire like him, then mornings start with you attending to your duties in the castle. Whether you both are called to the throne room or scouting the grounds, you’re together hand in hand when you arrive and have each other’s back. Sometimes you both like to watch the sunrise after spending the whole night reading, cuddling, and watching movies.

N = Night (how are nights spent with them?)

Okay so nights usually are long because you guys don’t sleep. After Aro dismisses the two of you sometimes you’ll retreat to your room to do leisure activities (or some frisky ones if you’re feeling it 😉) but a lot of the times you like to go into the square and watch the humans migrate during the night life. If there is a live band or music from the restaurants, you’ll pull Demetri to you and dance.

“Dance with me, lover.” You two are quick to attract a crowd, which just fuels your joy and leaves you giggling when he seems to twirl you faster. You two will dance for hours upon hours until the sky starts to turn blue signaling for you to take your leave back to the castle. Demetri will dip you, kissing you passionately before saying, “you never seize to amaze me, darling.”

Hi, could I request more about "Being Carlisle and Esme's youngest daughter HCs:" and we have the Volturi wrap around our finger, please, thank you, and love it.

You put it, the Reader doesn't get along with Bella. I was hoping you could tell us more about that relationship. And I personally would love it if the Volturi knew that we're there since Carlisle and Esme got custody of us. They are "Cousins [ Demetri, Felix, Alec, Janeand Heidi,] Anutes and Uncles [ Uncle Aro, Caius and Marcus] to us". When Alice goes and saves Edward dumbass. We're there to save Edward, but we're also happy to see them. When Demetri and Felix came, we called them Cousin Dem and Fe while smiling. We hug Jane, holding hands with her. The Cullens knew about what we call them. We really don't care what happens with Bella, but we do care about our brother and sister. Personally, I got the feeling we don't really care if Bella lives or dies

So, I want to compare how Edward thinks and how Bella thinks to show the two girls relationship.

I think when Bella is finally introduced to the family she's quite jelouse of Edward's relationship with you, there's no real incureties to it, she just doesn't want girls hanging around Edward.

Bella also thinks your plan and shy, there's off hand comments on how she's discribes you, Edward on the other hand discribes you as happy, humorous, and so beautiful.

You guys are always throwing harmful comments to each other and Bella usually takes it too far.

You also hate how she's treats her father. She always gets mad and says it's none of your business and you have no idea what you were talking about.

“my parents chose me, yours just got stuck with you”

Carlisle and Esme would put a stop to it, there's been many times Carlisle and Charlie have had talks about Bella's bullying.

Of course you're parents know your not a saint in theses situation, but Bella is usually the one to start it.

“if someone pushes you, you push back” Emmett always says, which is why your never scared to decened yourself.

And since your the youngest, your basically the center of the Cullens universe, but then Bella comes along and puts your family in danger, that's your problem.

You also have a problem with Edward putting everything aside no matter what for her, your happy he finally has a girlfriend but there should be boundaries.

You especially started hating her when Edward decided to go to the Vulturi after Bella's supposed death.

You knew about the Vulturi and you became friends with them in fact, your uncle Marcus(yes, you heard me right) says your the glue that holds you all together.

After Aro found out about a human joining Cullen Coven, he showed up to see if it was true, Aro didn't really have a plan for what he was gonna do, but when he met you he saw no harm. He was in aw at the sight of the small child.

The deal was that you could stay human with the family as long as you wanted, you just had to keep the secret of the Vampires.

Honestly you see Aro as the creepy uncle, you'd never say that to his face and he'll never found out because he refuses to read your mind.

“but, Dad he creeps me out! None of the others do”

Dispite you thinking he's creepy, he'd never hurt you.

At first Cauis wanted nothing to do with you and didn't agree with Aro's decision, but the more the family interacted with the Vulturi the more he grew a soft spot for you.

Marcus is more of a grandpa than an uncle if were being honest, he's a lot older than the others and he's always been so gentle and kind towrds you.

He gives you advice and is there if you need to talk.

I don't know much about Heidi, but I figure she'd absolutely love you and is always spoiling you.

Demetri is like a big brother/cousin and you kinda have a love/hate relationship. You guys tease each other and sometimes it'll get mean, but trust me he'd kill anyone who harms you.

Your probably closest to Jane and Alec, they're both closer to your age and you three just hit it off immediately. You hate hearing about they're tragic back stories but they always tell you it's not your fault and you make they're lives better.

Then Edward left for Italy to go and execute himself 🙄

You were so made at Bella for putting Edward in this headspace and situation, especially after you found out she's was perfectly fine.

But, anyway Alice was getting ready to take Bella to Italy and you wanted to Tag along. Not because you were there to support Bella, but because you wanted to see the extented family.

Ya know... Going to Italy to beat Felix and Demetir at Mario cart again...

What you didn't want to do is see Bella getting all dramatic and telling your Uncle Aro to kill her instead of Edward.

You rolled your eyes and came up to hug Jane as she threatened to use her gift on her, she was only using like 5% of it on Edward just for ✨dramatic effect✨ . “alright Jay, they've learned their lessons”

Jane chuckled and stopped using her powers on Edward, wasn't too painful for him.

“Aw, I was having fun” Felix sighed as you ran up to him and hugged him.

Cauis rolled his eyes trying to hide his smile as Bella looked completely confused. “What just happened?”

“nothing... Just you being dramatic for no reason, they're on our side bone head, You think they'd actually hurt Eddie?”

You left Felix's arms and walked around the Castle. “by the way, where's Dem?”

He appeared and hugged you while Bella looked even more confused and kept asking unanswered questions. “aw, she's still alive”

You laughed and quickly shhed him.

“what? You think just because they're old school and basically vampire royalty they're evil? you asked Bella, you were kinda pissed off she thought so low of them.

“yeah we never said we were gonna kill him and Alice never said that either” Aro said, clapping his heads together.

You then clicked your tough, with a sarcastic smile. “well, we send little miss. Main character home and me and Alice can stay here for the weekend, dad said we could.”

Jane hugged you excited for some girl time while Felix ran around the Castle making sure you had a comfy room to sleep in.

“do what ever you want Dem, killer or set her free, send her to the moon, have her for dinner, I don't really care”

Uncle Cauis laughed as bella started stuttering as Felix and Alec came back with arms full of dvds.

“wait, what?” Edward sighed. “they're kidding”

“we could watch a bunch of TV shows, we got Bones, and supernatural” Felix smiled.

“no Supernatural, they got the vampires all wrong” Alec said.

The two boys and you and Jane both just walked off talking about what you should watch without even a goodbye for Edward and Bella. “What about Moon Knight, dad finally got an account for Disney+. It's a really good marvel show”

“ooh, I heard Oscar Isaac is in it, he's so hot” Jane said, Felix and Alec groaned as you girls started thirsting over male actors.

“they're just gonna be horny for 40-something year old men the whole time” Alec sighed, heide slapped him and told him to be nice.

Bella scoffed and left with Edward after Alice smiled and ran after her sister and Jane.

“Lators Gators” you shouted to Edward.

a/n: this is old old old BUT i eventually wanna do a cute little aftercare moment with the others (eventually)

“Amore, stay still… let’s get you cleaned up hm.” As he shifts to stand you flip yourself to face him, glistening tears threatening to fall as you whimper loudly at the thought of him leaving. You weren’t quite with it, still recovering from the waves of pleasure you had experienced moments ago. He hushes you with a soft stroke of his hand on your back.

“Sweet girl, i’ll only be a moment… just to the bathroom and back.”

You nod hesitantly, and he moves with haste into the bathroom to grab a towel, quickly making his way back to you.

“I cannot allow my mate to be uncomfortable after being such a good girl for me now, can I?” He smirked as your face heated, avoiding his eye. He would always jump onto the opportunity to tease you.

He presses a kiss to your hair as he stands to place the towel in the hamper, sauntering back over and climbing up onto the bed, lifting you right into his arms and facing him on his lap. You settled against him instantly.

“You okay, sweet face?” A stream of kisses are pressed to your forehead, Alec grabbing the shirt he had been wearing previously (before you had tugged it off of him hastily during your rendezvous) and pulling it over your head, rolling the sleeves up.

“Mmm..?” You look up at him, glistening eyes staring into his crimson ones, his heart melting at the look you are giving him. You mumble softly “So good..”

He chuckles, leaning forward to kiss your cheek, nose, forehead before finally pressing his lips to yours softly.

“You okay, love?” You repeat in a whisper in between your giggles. He hums in response, tickling your sides, eliciting a few louder giggles from you before he responds. “I am absolutely perfect.”

You settle against him once again, wrapping your arms around him and whining when he doesn’t reciprocate.

“You need to drink some water first, il mio cuore” He demands and you pout.

He chuckles as he reaches for the water bottle on your bedside table, unscrewing it and moving it up to your lips. You look at him stubbornly and he raises his brow at you.

“Y/N” He speaks sternly, bumping the opening of the bottle against your bottom lip “Drink.”

You huff and lift your shaking hands around the plastic bottle. He continues to hold the bottom as you gulp down the cool liquid, breathing deeply as you pull away to take a breath.

“You’re shaking, darling.” He smooths a hand over your thigh comfortingly, tracing over the already forming bruises he’d managed to leave, his predatory side practically drooling at the sight.

“Is’ fine” You shrug.

“That’s it baby, good girl.” He smiles lovingly at you while you take a final gulp. You pull the bottle from your lips again, this time allowing him to take it. He screws the cap back on, placing it in its original place, pulling you close and finally allowing you to snuggle into him and get comfortable. You lay between his legs feeling fingers begin to caress and massage your scalp.

“Love you…” You mumble incoherently, drowsy and practically asleep already. Alec chuckles deeply.

“I love you too, angel. Sleep well.”

He was even less ready than the others. He was the last person to expect to meet his mate, especially someone who could match him, in more ways than one. For example, the first time you two met, he naturally tried to charm you only for him to be the one who was enamored, something that did not shock the other (it also didn't help when Felix teased him about it, damn them living for eternity)

Why Edward thinks Demetri is dangerous? Sure his tracking gift is great but he doesn't seems a great fighter. He's a bit sadistic in my opinion (like James was). Felix is the real threat and I do believe he's gifted and that's why no one can beat him. Felix dies, Demetri becomes useless.

We don't know anything about Demetri's fighting skills, but he is a member of an organization of over thirty vampires. Felix can be as dead as he likes, he is neither the deadliest Volturi nor is he irreplaceable.

As it is, there's no indication in canon (remember this is a book purist blog) that Demetri is a bad fighter. He is a thousand years old and has had time to learn, more importantly he is on the human diet and therefore much stronger than the Cullens.

The trouble, then, is that Edward doesn't think Demetri is dangerous. He famously, and very stupidly, believes he can circumvent Demetri's tracking when the Volturi come to make sure Bella has been turned with two simple tricks (that Volturi hate!):

Not worry about it for another thirty years, because the Volturi are very old and therefore time has lost meaning to them and they'll forget to check on Bella for several decades. (Cut to Jane asking what's taking so damn long three months later)

When the Volturi do come for Bella, Demetri won't be able to track her! Nevermind that the Cullens can all be tracked, so Aro will find seven vampires who a. are with Bella or know where she is, or b. sent Bella off and don't know where she is. Except they do know where she is because the only place Alice wouldn't be able to see would be a shapeshifter's company. My god, where could she be.

The moment the king saw his mate’s scars the bond would instantly strengthen from his side, reinforced. If their relationship ever were to fail he would always have a certain fondness for them. There is no vampire in the world who have a deeper fear and respect for COTM, he will let his mate take their time to speak of them; never even looking at them in the beginning in order to make it clear they do not bother him.

Caius knows all about visible scars from COTM, he has two rather extensive scars on his face alone that crosses over his left eye and on the right side of his jaw. In the beginning he too was quite self-concious of them, feeling as if he now was something ‘other’ than his fellow vampiric brethren along with the whitening of his hair.

His mate would be one of the few people he would tell the entire tale of what happened to the COTM. It is a story he does not recount often, but when his mate comes to him late one night he cannot refuse them. At the end of his stories the two of them would be curled up, holding on to one another in a tight embrace.

If they wanted training he would gladly give it to them. At this point in time Caius is one of the most skilled fighters and know exactly how to both get out of fight with a COTM, but also how to avoid them entirely.

Having this man as your mate would be a great help, Caius wears his scars as a reminder of all that he has been through and the lessons he has learned because of them. Through a relationship with him I imagine that he would teach his mate how to live with them as best as they could.

Being Caius’ mate not a single vampire would dare to even think, let alone whisper about the visible scars. And if anyone did... well, Caius is no stranger to all sorts of punishments. In fact, he will happily indulge.

The head of the guard knew the moment he met his mate that their scars would be something they would have to talk about. After spending centuries together with Caius he was well aware the psychological toll an encounter like that could be. For the longest time his mate would refuse to speak of it, even when Felix tried to bring up the subject gently he would be shut down with further explanation.

It would all come to a head when Felix showed them his forearm, for the guard had not made it a habit to show off his scar from COTM. His quarters would grow quiet as they both stared down at the jagged scar left behind by sharp teeth. He would tell them the tale unprompted, how he had been out with Demetri and the tracker had frozen in fear. Had Felix not been there he would have been dead.

If they wanted him to Felix would tell them all of the stories from when Caius hunted down COTM, and how he unfortunately had been along for most of them due to his strength and expertise in violence. The two of them would speak until the sun came up, both having divulged the circumstances of how their scars came about. A new thread of deep trust had woven itself around their fledgling bond.

Felix would only touch the scars with direct permission from his mate, he is well aware that they can both itch and be irritable; so if his beloved needs physical reassurance in those areas they would have to ask. 

If they wished to cover them up somehow he would also be supportive of it, more than willing to help them figure out a way to be confident about the scars and normalise them.

Much like Demetri he would go against any who spoke of his mate in an ill manner due to their scars, in retaliation Felix would most likely being showing off his own more frequently. Making it abundantly clear it was nothing to whisper about.

A sadness overcame Demetri the first time he saw his mate’s scars, everyone in the guard knew how terrible a fight with a COTM could go despite most of them only hearing stories. Demetri would be instantly brought back to the time when he almost lost his life due to his own incompetence, and a deep sense of not being enough for his mate would settle in him for a while. He would not be able to protect them, and it tore him apart.

The way Demetri became aware of his mates insecurities was because Felix came to talk to him. Fearing the trackers reaction and beliefs his darling mate had gone to the ever dependable Felix instead. Fear of rejection had kept them from confronting the tracker about the visible scars.

While Demetri would be hurt by his best friend’s words he would not be shocked. It was a common misconception that he was exceptionally vain and cared too much of appearances. He would conturing his mate soon after, not giving them much choice but to listen to all he had to say, both the good and the bad. A common understanding would be met at the end of the day, both of them with venomous tears in their eyes.

If his mate was in the right mind space he would joke about how he always found a good scar dashing, earning him either a glare or a fond shove to the shoulder.

With time he would sit down and speak to them of how he almost died because of a COTM, and how he was enterally grateful to Felix for making sure he would get to live another day. He would tell them how his insecurities terrified him, that he would not be able to protect them if he needed to. His mate would softly remind him that they would from now and into eternity protect one another equally.

Further more, if other vampires began whispering about his mate and their scars Demetri will be hitting them with backhanded comments within seconds. No one would speak ill of his gorgeous mate, and he would make damn sure of it.
