After looking at the london fashion week website and watching some of the different brands and designers this designer SABIRAH really stood out. They are a luxury modest wear brand for all women by deborah latouche. This was created from a desire to find the perfect occasion wear for the modest dresser sabirah is a capsule collection that encompasses all the elements for an elegant wardrobe. Sabirah delivers a refined and luxurious collection that transcends boundaries with exquisite tailoring in beautiful fabrics bringing a fresh direction to modest wear that appeals to all women. In a world of cheaper, faster, mass produced fabrics where waste is high and labour underpaid, sabirah is embracing the important fashion ethos of responsible sustainable production. The collection is made in london by highly skilled seamstresses and uses luxury end of roll fabrics, often made in the mills of italy and left over from couture fashion houses. Each garment becomes both exclusive due to the limitation of stock, and addresses the need for less waste by using already existing fabrics of the highest quality. I loved the photos of the collection and I loved the background of the designer and how they make the clothes, they are quite sustainable and I love brands who notice these things and make their brand better. I think the photos of the clothing and the models look so powerful, after watching the clips of the fashion week I thought that the models look so beautiful and It holds so much powers as the set is so dark and there barely any light and the only part to focus on is the model and the clothing she is wearing. The clip one really caught my eye and I love the dark lighting. The second clip I also really loved and I think it really reflects on the pandemic and how empty everything was. I liked how they did it outside and somewhere that looked a bit rundown. The model running about and the colour of the clothing seemed like happiness in the place that looked rundowned and empty. I really liked the contrast and I think this was a great way of showing the clothing and reflecting on the time we are living in at the moment.
