just imagining a teeny tiny tim being absolutely devastated about jason’s death, that he manages to get on to dark forums to contact a mercenary for a hit on the joker’s life.

and who happens to be that mercenary? deathstroke.

tim wires money from his (admittedly very high) allowance to slade, who finishes the job within the week — news outlets are going crazy as nobody knows who pulled off such a stunt — bruce is confused, and dick is both grateful, that someone took the bastard who killed his baby brothers life, and angry, because bruce wasn’t the one to do it.

slade however? wants to investigate, someone finally had the gall to order a hit on the joker and he’s a little curious to see who it is.

only come to find a little boy all alone in a big house who spends his nights following around a vigilante in a furry suit.

and, well, slade hasn’t been the best parent, and probably doesn’t know how to deal with an average kid, but who can blame him when he begins to train tim into becoming a mercenary just like him — after all, how else is he gonna defend himself on the streets of gotham when he gallivants around with an expensive camera, a sign basically saying ‘kidnap me!’ strapped to his chest?

so what if the kid becomes robin and uses those skills in the cape? that’s batman’s problem to figure out.

Au where dick is always snippy with Jason when he’s wearing his helmet.

The second he takes it off? Normal big brother.

On? Irritated bastard.

Off? Best sibling you could ask for.

On? Constant glares and scowls.

When Jason finally gets fed up he confronts Dick about it. He’s shot people in front of his brother and gotten a better reaction than putting on the helmet does!

Dick had no idea he was doing it and mutters something about the helmet reminding him of deathstroke before he has to go run off to stop a robbery.

Jason is…baffled tbh

Danny's many Kids/Clones

It all started when Danny once said he would like a few playmates for Dani, as it seems like she feels alone. It had been just bad luck that Vlad heard it, and in his way, Vlad thought to fix that! Was to create new Clones! And that was how five more playmates for Dani came to be. And Danny had five more new Clones. + A few weeks later

As Danny opened the door, there stood five new tiny Danny's, and before he could say anything, his mom screamed Grandbabies and hugged them. It was not long before the whole Amity Park knew about it, and he was again grounded for time travel. Something about not learning from his mistakes. And Amity Park was just going like, "The Fenton kid once again, Time Travel'd, it seems, they are adorable!" They aren't even sure how old the Fenton kid is now with all the times he did that. ++ Danny's first thing was to call Vlad in anger, but then he saw the joy Dani had with her siblings... And he wasn't that angry anymore. But he asked who he used, as they don't look as fully like him as Dani did. He seems to have used the ones that teens play in Hero and Villians. ++

So he had 1 of them are Twins.

Bat-Phantom = Cassandra Cain and danny Blackfire-Phantom = Blackfire and Danny Ravager-Phantom = Ravager and Danny Wonder-Phantom = Wonder Girl and Danny

++ First one to find out about Time Travel babies is Deathstroke, who proclaims himself Grandpa Slade! And yes he trains and treats all the 6 kids the same, he won't fail this time!! And he is very thankful how Amity Park is, otherwise it would be super weird. I mean he is known for fighting the Justice League most of the time!! ++ Danny is learning to be a doctor, he knows his luck and being one would make it easier to look after his kids.

One of Dick's greatest strengths is his ability to manipulate every single person in existence.

Genuinely I think this makes him the smartest person in the room. Not only is he a brilliant detective, but the fact that he's able to outmaneuver and control virtually everyone including other geniuses and masterminds makes him the most terrifying. There's a reason why his enemies have give up using intelligence against him and simply resorting to brute force.

Now hold your horses before you bring your crowbars and let me explain.

Dick once said, "On an even playing field, I always win."

And it's true. But how do you even the field if your enemies are geniuses, detectives, or metas?

"Well, if you don't like how the table is it, turn over the table."

And that's exactly what Dick does.

Let's begin from his younger years. Dick is 19, newly out of Batman's wing and in no position to take on a skilled mercenary on by himself. But the mercenary isn't going to stop just because he says please. So.

DEATHSTROKE WAS CLEARLY NOT EXPECTING TO GET OUTPLAYED BY A 19 YEAR OLD.

"You're right Slade, he's not a fool so choose a dumber kidnapping victim next time."

Ofcourse this is the least of his abilities.

This cover is perfect because it shows how two of them are literally in a constant game of chess. And evidence of Dick's tactical expertise was never more obvious than the bombing of Bludhaven.

By all means Dick had won.

And he's right. Dick is incredibly intelligent, and he has to be given how he maneuvered the entirety of the world to save him city. Not just the heroes and villains, but everyone - the heroes, the villains, the government, the civilians, the organized crime - everyone. He ruled the freaking world at that moment.

@haroldhighballjordan actually made a post about this that explains this scene so well

But yeah Slade knew he lost so in his petty vengeance what he basically did was set the whole fucking chessboard on fire.

The perfection to which Dick had calculated and moved millions of people to force Slade into abandoning their game and leave him shrieking and seething in rage over his loss. Another reminder that this game only happened because Dick manipulated Rose away from her father, away from his control to a better life.

Spyral is one of my favorite comics because it shows just how good of a manipulator Dick Grayson is.

One of Dick's coldest traits is his ability to manipulate a situation to fit his needs.

In the beginning Dick wanted to calm the meta down and take him in but the second his opponent let out the slightest hint of weakness, look how fast he flips his words. This man is brilliant.

And his planning came to fruition as the meta wore himself out, allowing Dick to take control of the situation and the opponent with no harm to himself-a quick, two second exit. He can manipulate emotions, thoughts, and people to get what he wants like he's playing chess with a child.

But it's not just other people- he can completely change himself to become a whole new person. In the earlier chapters, Dick is learning how to shoot a gun for the agency.

Dick's a terrible shot. Not a single bullet lands in the center of the target-there's no way he's ever going to shoot well....or atleast that's what he wants you to think-

"Yeah, well, that's what spies do."

"We lie."

He's a puppet master and the final boss.

A/N: Damn, the angst is powerful today.

BRUCE

Really cold after an argument. He barely returns your calls and texts and replies with only a few words. Apologizing doesn't come easy to him and even when he does do so all you'll get is an "I'm sorry." and then him trying to slowly cuddle up to you and kiss your cheek a lot. He doesn't like to dwell on the argument but he's really bad as resolving it, which is strange because he's pretty good when talking to his opponents.

JASON

Brooding to hell and back when you argue. Spends a lot of that time on the couch too. When you try to talk to him he'll acknowledge you're there, even hold your hand because at the end of the day he is touch starved but he will keep pouting all the way. Even after you begin kissing he'll tell you that you're wrong and he's right and you kissing him first proves that so... that that!

DICK

Hates leaving after an argument but has to clear his head a little. Fresh air and adrenaline really help him out. Keeps an eye on his phone in case you call him. If you don't then he will text you to let you know when he's coming back. Drops by your favorite store and buys you your favorite dessert. It doesn't work much in the way of apology but it makes the kisses afterwards taste that much sweeter.

DIANA

There will be some broken furniture when she's angry, but by some miracle not of it will be the furniture you bought. Will gladly let you use her lasso on her if you doubt that she's being honestly apologetic. A little over the top maybe but she flies new furniture through the window and makes a big show of it too. Very careful when kissing you, at least when it comes to handling you. The walls... might need some repairing.

SLADE

Not a man you want to get into an argument with honestly. He's scary when he's normal, let alone when he's arguing about something. You're about the only person that can slap him and get away with it without getting your hand cut off for it. But he will tie them over your head when you get down to... settle your differences.

CLARK

Spends most of the time above the clouds to cool off. Of course still keeps an eye out for you, your heartbeat. Once he's calmed down a little he will buy you a whole lot of flowers and if you're still angry at him he really doesn't want you to slap him because that would break your hand and he can't have that. He loves holding and kissing it too much and he would hate to cause you more pain.

OLIVER

Tries to brush past the arguing as quickly as he can. Starts to tease you, tempt you into letting your guard down by kissing your neck and shoulder, massaging you over your clothes. Not a big fan of going to bed angry at each other so would rather stay up all night trying to patch things up then going to sleep knowing you're still angry at each other.

I think one of my favorite Damian Wayne arcs is the time when Talia faked a paternity test that said Slade was Damian's actual father.

And by that, I don't mean that I want Slade to be Damian's dad. Absolutely not.

But the whole ordeal is so fucking chaotic that it's just the right amount of entertaining and ridiculous.

Let me give you a few information about this whole debacle, which is very crucial:

1. Talia knows Slade is not Damian's father.

2. Slade knows he is not Damian's father.

3. Damian knows Slade is not his father.

4. Bruce does not know that Slade is not Damian's father.

5. Damian, despite knowing that the test is obviously fake, goes on to live with Slade for a few days.

6. Slade does not want Damian to live with him.

7. Damian does not care about Slade's opinion.

8. Slade makes Damian wear a blond wig and Damian hates it.

9. Slade does not want Damian to call him "Father".

10. Damian calls Slade "Father", because yet again, he does not care about Slade's opinion.

11. At the end of this run, Damian goes back to his father. A bit later, Slade and Bruce have a fight in the cave. At the end Slade leaves without killing Batman and ruffling Damian's hair:

12. Why is this important? You may ask. Well later on, when Damian joins the Teen Titans, he goes on to kill Slade because he ruffled his hair:

13. He fails of course, but ends up with an eye scar caused by a bullet. Which, surprisingly, was not caused by Slade. In fact if Slade hadn't protected Damian, he'd probably be dead.

So that's why I love this arc.

Slade Wilson is one of my favorite characters, not because he’s any kind of redeemable (we’re not gonna sit here and defend him on anything. He did that shit in Judas Contract lmao), but because the Nanosecond he shows up, the quality of life for whoever he’s antagonizing that week immediately goes down. Like their day is ruined. Entirely. Their week is Fucked because Slade Wilson dared to show his cunt self lmao, and it’s funny every time.

Dick Grayson gets like 70% more mentally ill and downright homicidal whenever he shows up, and it’s funny every single time.

Oliver Queen? Fuck that guy In Particular, says Slade.

Dinah Lance? Her whole wedding TRASHED because he hates to see a girl winning.

Always love to see Batman even more pissed off than usual whenever Deathstroke shows up.
