wonderful timing, anon! i actually have some cake to eat! it was my uncle's birthday recently, so i have a smaller cake made of leftovers:

it's just made from the cut off top and bottom of the real cake, that's why it looks so thin and why the strawberry is so disproportionately big 😂 it was still delicious tho!

it was a kid-friendly tiramisu! so basically a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.

he's so lean, and he lost the weight so fast. like, people on twt be like oh don't worry he started yoga. but I'm just. he was not a sedentary person with a little weight to lose*, he was a lean end of normal person who dances and goes to the gym for his job and has done so for almost two decades. AND yoga is (comparatively) low intensity low impact exercise. the amount of yoga he'd have to do, even IF it's just 'oh he started doing yoga' would be untenable and unhealthy, especially considering how rapid the weightloss has been. like, I get that he seems happier and I dunno, more comfortable in his body than pretty much ever, but. it's still a bit worrying.

*anything you do at that stage will change how you look, a little bit of yoga included

Exactly!!! He was already an active person and he has to keep a certain level of fitness for his career. Yoga wouldn't have made him lose all that weight so fast. Granted, people really underestimate yoga and its conditioning and toning powers. Like the muscle definition he has was probably improved by the yoga, cause those practices take a lot of strength, but the weight he lost, that was dieting and probably even more daily movement.

I am trying to be very careful voicing my concerns, because you can never really know about someone else's health by just looking at them. He does seem lively and energetic so that is good. Now, I would get really worried if he lost more weight, cause no. But yeah, that did seem like a very rapid change and I just want my bubs to eat and move in a healthy manner.

If this doesn't end Very soon I'll have to ask my professor to register my thesis in April rather than March because i don't think I can do this in the remaining 2 weeks in this state ahahaha

#I'm genuinely about to cry #also i don't dare to take my adhd meds which may be another factor that makes it difficult for me to work these days #I'll have to cancel that doctor's appointment tomorrow if i still feel like dying lmao #god I'm so done #i actually felt okay this morning #had a bit of vegetable broth and bland toast and feel like that was a mistake #but also #if i don't consume any kind of sustenance i will faint ♡ and i need to be able to at least sit up a little #as opposed to lying flat #I'm so mad #also not my mom being sad she probably won't be able to make the cake and great food she had planned for my birthday #sorry but you can still make that #and honestly if this isn't over by sunday i will literally throw myself into the sun #anyway #let's get this bitch of a thesis to 20 pages today (currently at roughly 10 ahahaha #with at least one page needing to be cut because i just repeated everything i already said #but theory part needs to be done today #I'm tired of this not going anywhere #literally my whole future depends on this getting done before march 31 ㅠㅠ #i know i keep saying i won't go to korea no matter what but damn I still want the opportunity :(#shut up amy #academic misery
