Tysha and Mirri Maz Duur are two characters I feel like the fandom tends to erase the pain of in favor of the POV character (Tyrion and Dany).
Their not really viewed as people but an arc/character development for Dany and Tyrion and the more I think about it the more I hate it.
Tysha was raped and abuse by Tywin, she got no justice, but that's all glossed over in favor of highlighting how unfairly Tywin treats Tyrion and his hatred for his son, and Tyrion's trauma. No doubt the event was traumatic for Tyrion but the way people choose to only focus on Tyrion's trauma while ignoring Tysha is disturbing and disappointing. I have also seen people shipping them and wanting a reunion and for them to marry again but let's not forget Tyrion abused her. He raped her. Yes, Tywin forced him but it still happened and Tysha doesn't deserve to relive that trauma so Tyrion can find peace and redemption.
Mirri was raped, abused and witness the murder and rape of her people but that's all glossed over as well in favor of highlighting Dany coming into power. Beating her first 'Villian' and dealing with her first 'Betrayal'. Mirri did not owe Dany any loyalty because Dany saved her by making Mirri her slave. At the end of the day a slave is still a slave, even if their master is kind. The fact that people villianize Mirri for something they would praise Dany for is telling enough. And the fact that they think Mirri should be ever grateful Dany 'saved' her is disturbing. Also Mirri was still abused even after Dany 'saved' her. The idea that Mirri did something villainous by rebelling( killing Drogo. Still have no proof she actually did it) against her master is the idea that slaves have no right to rebell/desire freedom. The fandom perception around Mirri Maz Duur is disappointing . (Maybe it's the way GRRM wrote it or maybe it's because the fandom is mostly white.)
Justice for Tysha and Mirri Maz Duur.
I rambled alot in this one.

Funny, Contradictory ASOIAF Theories
Contradictory theories put forth about ASOIAF can sometimes be unintentionally funny...especially when the contradiction is not realized or acknowledged. Case in point...
Tyrion will be the devil on Dany's shoulder who will convince her to burn KL as she won't know that wild fire is present under the city, and that's what will cause the destruction. Of course, it's pretty impossible for her not to know, but that's another story.
Dragonfire/Wildfire; Dragonfire/Wildfire; Dragonfire/Wildfire
Can someone weigh the difference between the two and explain it to me in terms of destructive power why it would make a difference whether she knows or not. The two are equivalently the same. That's the point. Did Aegon need wildfire to destroy Harrenhal or the many castles in Dorne burned by the dragons? Make it make sense.
Another thing about the theory of Tyrion being the devil on her shoulder is that in the next breath, they will also say that this passage from TWOIAF is foreshadowing Dany saving the world with Tyrion's help.
In the Jade Compendium, Colloquo Votar recounts a curious legend from Yi Ti, which states that the sun hid its face from the earth for a lifetime, ashamed at something none could discover, and that disaster was averted only by the deeds of a woman with a monkey's tail. —The World of Ice and Fire - Ancient History: The Long Night
Per this theory, Tyrion will be Dany's hand or advisor and as he's described several times in the text as being a monkey demon and having a tail, he's the monkey in the tale, and together, he and Dany will in some way be instrumental in saving the world.
Now I fully admit that when I first read TWOIAF, this was my take as well when I read the passage. It was only in my multiple re-reads of the books, that I came to a different understanding of Dany's role in story.
I also came to believe that the passage itself was not really foreshadowing anything specifically about the story, but was just one of those easter eggs, George sometimes throws in regarding real world things that he likes. Similar to how he worked his fondness for the NY Giants and dislike for the Patriots and Cowboys into the text.
I could be wrong, but I think the passage a play on words and is a homage to the French cartoon, "A Monkey's Tale," which has a ton of elements that could be compared to ASOIAF in it.
Funnily enough, if the passage is foreshadowing something in the books, just as it's ignored that with marrying Sansa to Tyrion, George potentially switched out Arya for her big sister in his proposed triangle with Jon and Tyrion, it’s also missed that the future Lady of Winterfell could be the woman in the passage.
After all, she’s a woman as well and Tyrion is still her husband. Thus, he can be considered her monkey’s tail as well. The funnier aspect is that this is how things symbolically played out on the show as it was the actions of Sansa and Tyrion which led to Dany’s downfall.

“ When her son sat the Iron Throne, she would see that he had bloodriders of his own to protect him against treachery in his Kingsguard”
I jus found this to be interesting. Because Viserys is still very much alive and well, so by all means if he did restore the Targaryen Dynasty it would be his son that sat the Iron Throne after him. So Dany thinking about her son sitting the Iron Throne after previously asking Jorah could someone stronger than Viserys succeed in conquering the Seven Kingdoms with the Dothraki Screamers, is just sending off bells in my head.
I have no ideas where I’m going with this but I think this is where Dany is starting to desire power. Could be wrong but I shall see.
Also, I don’t like Jorah. He’s a weirdo. He got exiled for selling slaves but he’s trying to brush it off and just act like Ned was overreacting. I swear this man.
Also, if he wasn’t a Mormont and just some random peasant he would’ve have been killed.

Ofmd episode 8 we gull way back
Do you know how hard it is for me to actually hate a character? I can only think about four characters I really despise(Rhysand from a court of thorns and roses, Kylo Ren from star wars, Danereys Targaryen from game of thrones and Freddie from what we do in the shadows) so it's a very important thing for me to include calico fucking jack in this list
What a DICK
I understand he has to be a absolute walking disgrace for plot reasons but by god if he didn't made a impressive good job to be as unlikeable and irritating as he could be
I can understand people liking Izzy(whatever issues you have with your father is none of my business) but if someone says to me they actually like calico jack I will be concerned (and by like I mean try to explain his behavior as anything but being a jerk)
And this is his think while Ed fang Ivan and Izzy violence and behavior was clearly a defense thing you need to be though to survive calico it's just happy to cause as much harm as possible for no other reason than to be a dick
This is one of the only times In this show I side with stede the way Ed behaves around jack it's exactly the type of petty cruelty stede was the victim of when he was little and it probably hurts like hell find someone you actually like only to see them wearing the face of your nightmares
But at the same time when jack was trying to be all "you don't get us' talking about how Ed burned those people stede could've passively agresively told him about his own surprise viking funeral for those fucking french aristocrats I'm pretty sure this would've at least thrown jack out of his bullshit for a moment
Anyway jack deserved to be blown up
However I think his character design is kinda cool because I really like characters who use whips
Olu being sad because of Jim it's adorable
Speaking of Jim, the joke about Spanish Jackie being twenty five made me choke (also their fight was very cool)
"never left" please kill me
Rating 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢five victorious turtles who have their heads cut off
