had this silly little thought where you ask miguel a bunch of questions about the multiverse
miguel oโhara x gn!reader
warnings ; this is stupid, miguel is confused, mentions of pregnancy/having a kid, my spanish knowledge is below zero so i used google (feel free to correct me)
โ what did you just ask me? โ
โ i asked what would happen if two people - โ you were pestering miguel with questions about the multiverse for the past hour or so. at first it was a basic conversation regarding what were canon events and how are they established, how the portals work and all the other boring stuff.
โ i heard you the first time. just- where did you get that question from? โ
โ donโt tell me youโve never wondered how it would work if for example we were to have a kid. like, weโre from different universes. iโm just curious what would happen to the kid in this predicament. โ if you were anybody else he would probably just glare at you and go on with his work but due to your position in his heart he just stood there, absolutely mortified at the example you just provided.
in all honesty you werenโt even that much into the topic but being able to bother miguel just a little and watch him scrunch up his nose whenever you mentioned something that would probably classify you as mentally deranged was your favorite hobby.
โ dios por favor dame fuerza*. no, actually iโve never thought about that. also that example was really uncalled for. โ he thanked his past self for making the office so dimly lit. if it was any brighter in here heโs 97% sure you would be able to see how his neck and ears go all red.
โ so you admit you donโt know what would happen? โ
โ sรญ, ahora ยฟpodemos cambiar el tema?* โ
โ okay, okayโฆ thereโs actually one more thing i was curious about. โ miguel only sighed and looked at you with an unimpressed expression.
โ should i be scared? โ at this point he had no idea what to expect, in fact he kinda expected anything. and his imagination was not helping him. you looked up at him with those big pleading eyes that at the same time were full of mischief.
โ if, for example, we were to start dating, would that make me you knowโฆ kind of a pedophile..? โ there was an awkward silence and the look he had was to be described only with the sentence โwhat the fuckโ
โ what on godโs green earth are you talking about? โ
โ i mean, youโre from year 2099 right? and im from 2023 in my universe. so that would kind of suggest that technically i would be in my 40s or 50s when you were born right? that justโฆ kind of weird to think about i guess? โ
that, he did not expect in any of his wildest scenarios.
โ iโm going to lose my fucking mind. โ he slumped forward hiding his face in his hands.
โ aw come on miguel! itโs a genuine problem iโm thinking about here! โ
An attempt to rank my top 100 movies growing up. Note that Iโm not trying to judge how good of a movie it is by any objective measures, but just how fond I remember feeling of it as a kid and how much it seemed to impact me at the time, how much I rewatched it, etc. Iโm using 1999 as the cutoff point, when I was 11 or 12.

Questions
1. Three ships you like:
Wyll/Karlach - hoooboy what can i say about these cuties? not exactly the best meet cute considering but god, i love them. i love all the compliments they pay each other. they are canon far as i am concerned in runs where neither are romanced.
Wolfgang/Kala from Sense8. I like opposites attract type romances too, and I liked their chemistry.
2. First ship ever: i feel like i've been shipping FOREVER, but baby's first ship was cloud/tifa from ff7 (yes i know, i am ancient). you best BELIEVE imma gun for her date in ff7 rebirth, LOL.
3. Last song you heard: The Hu - Bii Biyelgee
4. Favorite Childhood Book: Bunnicula! The bunny vampire who sucked the vegetables dry! I loved that book so much. Oh, and the Borrowers! And Rats of NIMH and, oh! There was a book from my mom's childhood she read to me a lot that i loved called Jenny and the Cat Club. Virtually no one talks about it but it was my favorite and the illustrations are so adorable.
5. Currently Reading: Nothing, shamefully. I need to get back into book reading now that i may have extra energy to fit more hobbies into my life.
6. Currently Watching: Gearing up for Xmen 97, but otherwise no series or anything.
7. Currently Craving: sushiiiiii

Here are 10 things you should know about Dame Angela Lansbury, born 97 years ago today. In a career that spanned nearly 80 years, she enjoyed success on the stage, in pictures and on television.
Remembering our beloved Dame Angela Lansbury on her birthday. She wouldโve been 97 today. Here as the delightfully funny romance novelist Salome Otterbourne in Agatha Christieโs murder mistery Death on the Nile. What is your favourite quote from the movie? #angelalansbury #dameangelalansbury #deathonthenile #agathachristie #salomeotterbourne #murdermystery #AlejandroMogolloArt https://www.instagram.com/p/CjxvU02op1_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
There are some things I want to write (specifically: another Field Museum field trip (featuring stuff I got to see on memberโs night) and CG headcanons for Father from the show โRaised By Wolvesโ - heโs such a freaking good dad!) but Iโm probably not gonna get those written until at least June. (I work in a school and Iโve got some end-of-year burnout keeping me from writing.)
But Iโve been feeling smallish, so I thought maybe Iโd rave about some of my favorite childhood movies (in no particular order). :)
A Troll in Central Park I swear, every single time we went to Blockbuster, I wanted to rent this movie. I just adored it, and I really still do. It just makes me really happy.
Lady and the Tramp This is one of my favorite Disney movies. Itโs so pretty, and I love the characters.
Cats (1998) Is it a โkids movieโ? No. Did I understand the plot? Barely. But by gosh, Iโd put on a leotard and paint whiskers on my face, and I would dance around the living room like Iโd been raised to play one of the characters. ๐ธ
The Rescuers Down Under I actually wasnโt allowed to watch this for most of my childhood because my mom felt like the bad guy was โtoo evilโ - she tried to be careful about the things me and my siblings watched when we were really young. (Although, kinda funny, โThe Hunchback of Notre Dameโ was never restricted. ๐คฃ) But I was able to watch it a few times, and I really liked it.
The Prince of Egypt The MUSIC! My gosh, even when I was too young to really appreciate the visuals, I knew the music was great.
The Muppet Christmas Carol We still watch this movie every Christmas. One year my dad was on the phone with my grandparents while we were watching, and he couldnโt stop laughing at โJacob and Robert Marleyโ.
Pollyanna I donโt really know WHY I loved this movie so much - itโs so dialog-heavy and I had (and still kind of have) a pretty short attention span. Still, basically every time I was at my grandparents house I wanted to watch their copy of it.
Bedknobs and Broomsticks I guess some people say this movie was a โMary Poppinsโ knockoff? Honestly, as much as I do enjoy โMary Poppinsโ, I personally like this more. Maybe โcause I like witches.
Kikiโs Delivery Service (1997 English Dub) The characters! The story! The music! AAAAHHH! This is still one of my all-time favorite movies, and it bums me out so much that the 97โ version is so hard to find. (I may or may not have found it online and saved it to my computer so Iโll always have it. XD) I still have the VHS copy I got for Christmas when I was really little.
Homeward Bound & Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco Everytime I hear the theme music I feel giddy. I like the first one a little more, but theyโre both such nice, feel-good movies.
The Lion King 2 - Simbaโs Pride โฆ I like this movie more than the first one. ๐ฑ๐ The original โLion Kingโ is great, but I just alway liked this one more. The colors, the songs, the characters (good gosh, Zira is one of my favorite villains ever, donโt even get me started). Itโs just really good!
Oliver and Company As a kid this was probably one of my top five Disney movies. Itโs not quite so high on the list now, but I still really love it.
Hap Palmerโs Baby Songs This is technically a series and not a โmovieโ, but this is my list so Iโm gonna count it. ๐ Theyโre mostly original songs, theyโre super catchy, and the accompanying videos are a lot of fun. Most of the songs are on Hap Palmerโs YouTube channel; I highly recommend checking it out. (Also: I did not grow up watching โTurn on the Musicโ, but itโs also really good.)ย
The Ruby Princess Runs Away This movie is available on YouTube, but please tell me if you ever saw it as a kid - none of my friends had and I couldnโt believe it. This was one of my favorite movies and I watched it so much I can still recite segments of it; a few years ago my sister picked a random scene, played a few seconds, and I gave her the next lines of dialogue. Thatโs how wild I was about it. ๐คฃ Itโs honestly not a great movie, pretty average and without much of a budget, but I still love it.
"Today is the birthdayย of Dameย Barbara Cartland, the author of 723 books, most of them romance novels. She was born in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England, in 1901, and her family moved to London after her father died in World War I. Lord Beaverbrook, the founder of the Daily Express, gave her some writing tips, and she began contributing to the newspaper. She published her first novel, Jigsaw, in 1925, and her last, called The Way to Heaven, in 1998 at the age of 97. She wrote at an alarming rate: From the 1970s onward, she produced an average of 23 books a year. She left behind 160 manuscripts when she died in 2000." (x)
To finish off the coaching power rankings series, weโre pitting the top coaches across the land against each other to see whoโs the best of the very best.

10. Mike Gundy
Record at Oklahoma State: 149-69
Division Championships: 1 (2010)
Conference Championships: 1 (2011)
Movement: Same
Mike Gundy holds firm to his top 10 spot in the rankings thanks to a very successful 12-2 campaign in 2021. The Cowboys recorded their second best season ever under their longtime head coach. Nobody has won in Stillwater the way Gundy has, and he seems well positioned to keep Oklahoma State advancing further as the Big 12 shifts.
-
9. Luke Fickell
Record at Cincinnati: 48-15
Overall Record: 54-22
Division Championships: 3 (2019, 2020, 2021)
Conference Championships: 2 (2020, 2021)
Movement: N/A
Luke Fickell is the first G5 coach to crack the top ten rankings since Chris Petersen left Boise State for Washington. Itโs no surprise, Fickellโs Cincinnati Bearcats are looking like the best non-AQ football program since those incredible Broncos squads. Cincinnati wonโt even be a mid-major for long, as the Bearcats make the jump up to the Big 12 and back into a major conference in a few years.
-
8. Mack Brown
Record at North Carolina: 90-63-1
Overall Record: 265-139-1
National Championships: 1 (2005)
*with Texas
Movement: Down 1 spot
North Carolinaโs lackluster performance in 2021 bumps Mack Brown down a spot. The Tar Heels took a step back last year with a 6-7 campaign. Brown still appears to be building momentum in Chapel Hill for the time being, letโs see if UNC improves in Year 4.
-
7. Kirk Ferentz
Record at Iowa: 178-110
Record Overall: 190-131
Division Championships: 2 (2015, 2021)
Conference Championships: 2 (2002, 2004)
Movement: Up 2 spots
Iowa once again turned in a double-digit win season, their seventh under Ferentz. The Hawkeyes claimed the Big Ten West in a crowded race, but ultimately showed themselves to be no match to Michigan in the Championship Game. Thereโs still a ceiling in Iowa City, but Ferentz is keeping the Hawkeyes as competitive as possible in an increasingly competitive conference.
-
6. Jimbo Fisher
Record at Texas A&M: 34-14
Overall Record: 117-37
National Championships: 1 (2013)*
*with Florida State
Movement: Same
Texas A&M didnโt follow up on the promise of their breakout 2020 season. Jimbo stays put on the list as other SEC coaches outmaneuvered the Aggies in the national championship race.
-
5. Lincoln Riley
Overall Record: 55-10
Movement: Down 1 spot
Oklahomaโs 10-2 record without playing for the Big 12 championship was a comparative step down for Riley, who had led the Sooners to four consecutive league titles before the streak ended in 2021. Riley is now at USC, where heโll attempt to resurrect a winning program in Los Angeles. Heโs one of the top young coaches in the game, can he pull it off?
-
4. Brian Kelly
Overall Record: 284-97-2
Movement: Down 1 spot
Another top coach on the move is Brian Kelly, who left a plum gig in South Bend for a plum gig in Baton Rouge. Kelly did everything he could at Notre Dame and now wants to try his luck for a national championship at LSU. The last three guys all did it at least once, do you think Kelly can make it four in a row?
-
3. Kirby Smart
Record at Georgia: 66-15
Division Championships: 4 (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021)
Conference Championships: 2 (2017, 2021)
National Championships: 1 (2021)
Movement: N/A
Kirby Smart smashes into the rankings, jumping all the way to #3 following his national championship season. Itโs well earned, he did exactly what he was hired to do in making in Georgia a war machine that recruits and develops players at the same level as Alabama. I wonder how many heโll win in Athens when itโs all said and done.
Clemson didnโt impress anybody in 2021. The Tigers turned in a relatively mediocre 10-3 record and found them excluded from any meaningful Playoff talk. It was an off year. Dabo is still one of the best coaches today so heโs staying put in the rankings as Clemson attempts to rebound.
