Moon in Aries and what that *could* mean for business

The Moon is in Aries at the second decanate (the houses are divided by ten degrees, and since the Moon is at the 11th degree, it's in the second decanate) influenced by Leo (The Sun) and I feel this is the time to get things done. Emotions may be tense but  you can use that tension to your favor especially when it comes to passion projects. Chiron in Aries is also making conjunction (area of intensity) to the Moon so I feel a lot of people may be using this as fuel to either start-up non-profits and/or businesses.

With Uranus in Taurus making a conjunction to the Sun + PoF (financial luck/success in life) (think of Uranus in Taurus as using your voice for the greater good, humanitarianism, and the like) these are some of the best times to make investments and expand a business. 

Also, the current Sun is making a sextile (opportunity) to Mars in Pisces. Be sure to check your transits and where this is happening for you because you could be surrounded by more blessings than you think. It's giving Four of Cups energy (not looking up to see the abundance  around you because you're too moody, emotional, and/or genuinely oblivious to what the Universe or whoever you work with is offering you).

Mercury is making a very strong trine (ease, luck) to Pluto at the moment. I welcome the upcoming changes because they can indeed be transformative. However, it’s important to consider that Mercury is in the shadow period and the Retrograded planet will be dignified (at home, the planet will be in the sign it rules) in Gemini. Communications, technology, and even traffic will all be impacted. Time to recall how we communicate and what kinds of investments are we making. This pertains to be financial AND emotional.

At the end of the day, I’m still very hopeful that these transitions (albeit a bit rocky in the beginning) will benefit both platforms. The right people will move to the right areas and it will be smooth sailing (in some aspects). For those who need to do the inner work, it’s about that time. Investing in journals, microphones for podcasts (but I’d honestly wait for larger/medium purchases until Mercury stations direct) and the like in order to cope with it all.

Monday, February 5th, 2024 Sun in Aquarius ♒️💨 Moon in Sagittarius ♐️🔥

The optimistic and adventure seeking Sagittarius Moon is going on a solo trip today. She’s void of course all day, not interacting with other planets. And that’s ok because we have plenty to talk about.

Overnight, Mercury entered Aquarius which is going to have our thoughts all over the place. Shifting from earth to air energies can feel a bit ungrounded. It can also have us feeling aloof or unemotional. Combined with the carefree Sagi Moon though, it could bring out the quirky or silly side of you.

Immediately upon entering Aquarius, Mercury will meet up with Pluto. Things get serious again and might feel a bit heavy, sparking deep and meaningful thoughts and conversations. Expect truths to come to the surface that can’t be ignored. This meet-up in the sky is kind of a big deal because this conjunction hasn’t happened in over 200 years. The feel of these energies is brand new to all of us and we’ll need to get used to it. It will happen every year for the next 20, giving us a hint of what’s to come. Pay attention to your thought process and conversations at this time.

All of the personal planets are going to do the same meet-up with Pluto in Aquarius this month and we’ll throw in a New Moon in Aquarius this week too, really changing the landscape and sparking new beginnings. If it feels like a lot of things are changing, that’s because they are.

Mercury has stationed Retrograde. In Capricorn, scheduling conflicts may come up or people just are not taking responsibility for their actions. Venus Opposite Jupiter may offer us some kind of relief in the way of “well it could be worse, right?”

Astrological heads up for Thursday the 23rd: 

Moon ingress into Taurus [[Exact 0 at 11:41 AM PST]]

With the moon in Aries we likely had a lot of motivation and energy, as well as sensations of pressure to accomplish and move forward. Things could have been feeling fiery and excitable under the Aries moon, but with Taurus the vibe changes almost entirely. I always say this but it’s true: one of my favorite things about astrology is the way that each sign changes the game of the ones that came before it. With Taurus there’s a decision that life doesn’t need to be rushed; there’s a lot of things we miss by focusing too far forward; harmony and comfort actually mean something and are valuable. During Taurus moons we may tend to our material matters, money, work and the things we find the most comfort in. Taurus is also an energy that promotes working with the hands and getting directly in touch with nature, whatever that may mean for every individual out there. Food is also a huge Taurus thing, so it wouldn’t be surprising if we find it to be a pretty big focus the next 2 and a half days. 

Moon square Pluto [[exact at 11:41 AM PST]]

Fixed energy in a square can bring out feelings of resistance. With Pluto and the moon squaring there is the potential for some pretty intense energies to play out. Pluto is the harbringer of certain negative connotations, taboos and things hiding under the surface. With Taurus and Aquarius there’s potential for disagreement between the idea of being stuck too deeply in our comfort zone and striving for social connections and growth that permits unification. Pluto is in its fall while transiting Aquarius, which means that it struggles in its expression. A troubled Pluto squaring the moon seems like it could trigger growth in uncomfortable ways - perhaps we will be uncomfortable with certain perceived negatives from other people during this aspect as well. The Taurus moon will always bring the potential of influencing us into wanting to be safe above all else, and Pluto always comes with themes of the forbidden and transformative, as it pressures us to face the shadow. This aspect could bring about some anxiety while it lasts. 

Moon sextile Saturn [[Exact at around 2:56 PM PST]]

The Taurus moon has us preferring a slow pace and less excitement compared to the way things may have felt under the Aries moon. Saturn is built pretty much the same way: it’s the planet least about stirring enthusiasm, unless it’s for the management of time, correction and perfectionism. When Saturn and the moon work together on “friendly” terms we can feel an underlying sense of devotion, commitment to important things and a general decisiveness. The sextile represents opportunities and things that can be reached in the moment, so with this one it represents striving toward nourishment, empathy and civility. Saturn in Pisces brings some structure (or tries to) to our propensity to imagine and get lost in release and escape, and instead brings our attention to the usefulness of compassion and patience. We may feel steady on Thursday in that we recognize, with more positivity, that things may take more time than may be perfectly pleasant. 

Moon conjunct north node while in a square with Pluto [[Exact at 7:07 PM PST]]

This seems to be a big day for potential growth. The north node represents what we need to grow into, and is our highest source of maturity and evolution. The moon conjunction the North node shows that it’s possible that we may feel or intuitively sense the path that we are going down, for good or for bad. There’s a possibility for truly pondering fate, in both a nostalgic and futuristic sense. Pluto and the moon pushing on the north node seems to be a point in time where we will be “tested” with opportunities to grow. It will obviously not be so major for everyone, but it seems like quite a striking aspect, especially with Pluto being at exact 0. It may not be comfortable (unfortunate for the Taurus moon) but in the end there is something hidden to be uncovered in our nature, and it lines up with how we feel about changes, big and small. It could also involve other themes such as wealth, beauty and mental and emotional stability.

A tough Full Moon, all right. Capricorn seems to swing that way, anyway - it would mistrust anything too easy - and it will assuredly have its hands full. I’d have to call this a pissed-off women Full Moon, since there is a heavy Cancer emphasis (Sun, Mercury, Ceres, asteroid Lilith, both Black Moons Lilith) - opposing a Moon-Pluto conjunction in Cap - and all of them square Chiron &/or Eris in Aries. There are (more) challenges ahead, but also opportunities, and even some blessings. “Conventional wisdom” isn’t favored right now; we’re more inclined to go with our guts.
