“The reader asking Andy about his kiddo (let's pretend is a lil boy 🤣) and him being very emotional about it and the reader who truly loves him conforts him 😭❤️” - anon
Please read the warnings!!
Warnings: use of drugs (weed), smut, oral (female receiving), slight public sex, slight angst, mentions of rehab, mentions of suicidal thoughts, a lil bit of crying and VERY slight Eden spoilers, but thats only if you don't want to know anything AT ALL, so basically none? idk lmao:)
Notes: hi! So this is my first Andy fic, I wrote it very quickly last night after a sudden burst of inspiration and it doesn't make too much sense, also it’s kinda cheesy? I don't think I've ever written anything this angsty or soft before, but i’m trying to be more in touch w my emotions nd this is my way of doing that, so hopefully i'll do more things like this soon:) also if you’re interested, the title is one of my favourite songs by Men I Trust that I just thought fit Andy well.

The warm, dancing breeze washed over your skin, plucking up your many goosebumps and blowing the rainbow coloured sea of petals that decorated the large garden from left to right. The bittersweet mix of their fragrances and Andy’s blunt rushed to you and filled your scrunched up, wrinkled nose as you let out a loud laugh. The vibrant expanse of fluffy grass felt close to a mattress underneath you, cradling your form whilst you laid amongst the greenery and watched Andy ghost a deep inhale of the blunt he had balanced precariously between two fingers. He flopped his arm across the gap between you and offered you another toke, the dopey smile spread over his features making you laugh even more.
“What’s so funny? Hmm?” He questioned you jokingly, rolling onto his forearms and bringing his face to hover just above yours as you brought the blunt to your lips. You couldn't hold in your laughter, your drug hazed state and the breeze that pushed his brown curls to tickle your blushing skin only exaggerating your amusement further as you choked out clouds of smoke.
“What??” He joined in laughing, finding humour in his own confusion and finding your laugh infectious. His lips found your own in a sudden yet gentle kiss which you gladly embraced, still not managing to fully compose yourself as you giggled into his open mouth.
You did your best to pull back from the kiss, but were reminded you didn't really have anywhere to go when you felt a blade of grass flutter against your ear. “It’s just.. your smile.” You rested your blunt carrying hand on his cheek as you spoke, feeling your heart swell when he pulled an overdramatic expression of insult at your reply.
“What’s so wrong with my smile?!” He half faked offence, not understanding what you could possibly find so amusing about it as you giggled more and more. “What’s wrong with it?- is it my lips? ‘They not good enough for you baby?” His thick accent aided his voice, making him sound even more attractive than he already was as he joked with you.
“Noo! it definitely wasn’t your lips, cause I love those.” You gripped his locks a little firmer, biting your lip as his stare changed from one of curiosity to one of want.
“Oh yeah?” He leaned back down and kissed you again, but this time rougher, the weed made you feel as if his lips were slowly melting into your own as it sent strong signals of lust through your body. He put all his weight on one arm, lifting the other and groping your waist with it whilst simultaneously moving to trail wet kisses down your neck.
His touches were deep, yet executed so delicately it convinced you if he was any rougher, you might just break. He opened the buttons of the flowing shirt you wore; one you had stolen out of his wardrobe that morning. He moved his head further down your chest to your stomach, mouth racing in slow motion to reach you were he wanted to most.
Forgetting to explain why you found his smile so funny in the first place, your high carried your thoughts closer towards how incredible his mouth felt on your skin, making you lean into his touch and let out a few small mewls.
As he reached your panty line, he tapped your hip, signalling for you to lift them so he could take your shorts off. He slid them off your legs in a quick, smooth motion that had them landing on a nearby lavender bush. The garden had quite a large variety of blossoming shrubbery and many clusters of beautiful flowers, it was probably down to the bi-weekly gardeners Andy had hired. You had known they were expensive and after spending so much time like this, lazing around, surrounded by the expensive home’s nature, you were beginning to understand why he had hired them.
You returned your gaze from the dangling shorts, back to the man nestled between your bare thighs. His beard was scratching at your skin in the best way possible as he laid small kisses over the thin fabric that covered your cunt. His hot breathe felt like fire as you wriggled and squirmed below him, just wanting some kind of contact from him.
He used two fingers to peel your panties to the side, groaning at the site of your glistening folds before kissing your clit gently. His tongue started swiping across your cunt slowly, taking all the time in the world to make you feel as good as he knew he could. You moaned loudly, grabbing at his hair once more as he sucked on you deeply.
“Mr Dolan?” You were interrupted by a throat clearing before hearing a man speak; one of Andy’s many servants you guessed. They had never seemed to leave the two of you alone whilst you had been staying there. No matter how big his home was, you always seemed to find another at every corner.
Andy looked up to the man with question and annoyance, raising an eyebrow at him as he wished for him to just hurry up and leave so the two of you could continue with your escapades. “It’s the phone for you Mr Dolan. Your son.”
Andy quickly rose from his place below you, his mind abandoning all thought of the act he was just partaking in as he jogged past the glass doors of his home, wanting only to speak to the young boy.
You sat up slightly, doing up a few buttons of your shirt and laying your crossed legs to the side of you as you held yourself up with your arm. You watched him as he scrambled into the house after his servant, little red marks from where he had been lying in the grass next to you were noticeably imprinted on the skin of his left arm, the one he had been leaning on, and his open shirt was flowing behind him with the speed he was moving.
You looked down to the flowers on front of you, picking a single daisy that bore tinted, pink tips on the end of each slim, white petal, twirling the stem around between two of your fingers as you listened to the breeze pick up. You could feel the mood of the air change as he left, the wind feeling more cold an irritating than once before as you pondered the call Andy was having.
You knew how desperate he had been to speak to his son again. It had been months since he had spoken to him without his ex-wife being the messenger. He missed him more than he knew to describe.
His recent divorce had been what had fuelled him to return home to Eden; hoping to find solace in the paradise he knew so well after feeling as if he had lost himself entirely. Spending too many years constantly playing other people had taken more of a toll on him than he had realised, that was until he was sent to rehab. After getting out, he felt as if staying in Eden was the only way for him to climb out of the dark hole he had managed to find himself in. Unfortunately, this journey of finding himself had meant making the decision to leave his son behind in Los Angles. Something he didn't like to speak on much.
When you had first met him in rehab however, he had been extremely open about his life, telling you how anger was the only emotion he could really feel anymore. Explaining that if he wasn’t at least the slightest amount intoxicated, he didn't think he couldn't go on with living; especially after the recent downfall of his career being showcased for the entire world to see. It was dark stuff, but you understood each other. That’s a big part of what made you grow so close.
You picked off petal after petal from the daisy, watching its beauty fade with each pluck and letting each one slowly blow into the breeze, creating a tragic stream as they blew away from you and down to the not so far off shoreline. As you plucked the last petal, you admired the daisy, still glowing with pollen and beaming in the sunlight despite have lost so many important parts of it. You stuck it into your shirt pocket and fell back down to lay on the grass as you waited for Andy to finish his call.
It had been maybe ten minutes you were lying with your eyes closed, enjoying the heat that beamed down from the clear, Australian sky when you finally heard the slow footsteps that you knew to be Andy’s, pattering along the grass. You shot up from where you lay to see the dopey-smiled man who had left you in the garden just fifteen minutes before, only to be faced with a red-eyed, teary one.
“Andy what happened? Are you okay?” He fell down onto the grass besides you, staring at you but completely wordless. You felt as if you could see into his soul. He was feeling so many emotions he hadn’t even been able to grasp at in so long. It was overwhelming him and you knew it. You reached out to stroke is cheek, concern running through you for the man that you had grown to love so dearly over the past few months.
He looked up “She’s gonna let me see him. T-They’re coming over next month.” A tear fell from his face as he smiled harder than you had ever seen him smile before. He was finally going to see his son after all these long months and you couldn’t have been any happier for him.
“Really?! That’s amazing, oh my god!” You moved forwards, wrapping your arms over his large shoulders and squeezing him in a hug so full of love it was palpable. “You really got to speak to him this time?” You questioned him once more before pulling away from his grasp, thinking back to the many times his ex-wife had promised he could speak with the boy but decided at the last minute he wouldn’t get to.
“Yeah!.. he uhh,” He took in a shaky breath, chuckling with joy as he recalled hearing the young boy’s voice so filled with excitement and energy over the phone. “He said he couldn't wait to meet you! You know, when I told him about you.” He stumbled over his words, running a hand through his hair as he shook with nerves, doing his best to calm himself.
In that moment, you felt your love for him soar higher than it ever had before. You were so proud of the progress he had made, and you knew his son would be too. “And I cant wait to meet him either.” You rested your forehead against his, the two of you enjoying a stand still and bathing in the happiness you both felt in the beautiful moment. The sound of the ever present breeze occupied your ears as the laughter emitting from two of you joined it, echoing a song throughout the garden that wouldn’t be forgotten any time soon.

“There’s not a single reason I can think of for me to let you see her. You may be her father, but I’m her everything.” and “There’s nothing you can do, this is it. This is how it goes.” for Andy if your still doing prompts :)
Thank you very much! I hope you like these? :)) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This one isn’t for the faint of heart, y’all! It’s pretty dark & intense!
~*~
7. “There’s not a single reason I can think of for me to let you see her. You may be her father, but I’m her everything.”
69. “There’s nothing you can do, this is it. This is how it goes.”
She’s sleeping soundly again, not noticing the raging summer storm that rests beyond the cottage windows. You tuck your fingers underneath the spare tufts in her pink blanket, enjoying the warmth. When she stirs you give her back a rub, pulling her closer to your chest. Baby Dolan is a snorer, much like her dad can be.
Andy.
You were trying (and failing) not to think about him. Ever since the incident had occurred, you basically checked out. Leaving your apartment behind, only giving your mother your contact information - you drove here with your newborn. The little one stirs, making those cute little bubbly noises of contentment, and that sends you into those stomach-churning memories. Andy.
You have been in love with Andy Dolan since you were assigned as his assistant when he got his big break. But he always put your advances on the back burner, instead choosing what fame had brought, along with addiction. You even had to watch him marry another woman and get her pregnant, losing himself further - demolishing his marriage, abandoning his daughter. Like a fool you had stood by him, vowing to help him, especially once his career began spiraling. You felt like a maid, cleaning up after him, reminding him to shower or change his clothes sometimes.
It went on that way for months. How naïve you were to think you could save him by yourself. He needed help, someone professional to hold the suitcase whilst he unpacked the baggage. You nearly paid the price for your loyalty, almost losing the one good thing Andy ever did give you - a baby girl. Your whole entire world and then some.
You became one of Andy’s typical one night stands and a cliche result had erupted. He had promised he would shape up, but you knew that if he couldn’t care enough for Sky, he wasn’t going to care enough for his second born. Still, you gave him every available chance to be involved. When he stopped answering your texts and failed to tell you about a movie he received a role in - you had to check reality. Andy Dolan fucked you because he could, not because he loved you or respected you, hell, he probably had forgotten all that you’d done for him.
He came to one ultrasound and sent you flowers for the birth. You and your daughter were another tabloid story in his life. Then when you had the little girl, it took Andy three weeks to request a visit, one that was cut abruptly short when he was holding the baby and she threw up on his silk robe, upsetting him. He handed her off and told you he’d be right back. He never came back, not until you left.
Another month had went by before you even considered letting him ask you to bring her over. He was ready to leave for his movie and he wanted to visit her. You supposed you owed it to your child to make it work. Boy you were foolishly wrong...
Andy seemed sober, clean and shaven. That’s why you decided to let him watch her as you briefly went to change your t-shirt to nurse her easily. Mere minutes ticked by and that’s when you remember the sickening crash from downstairs, preceding the horrifying wail that came from your child’s lips. Your heart is racing at reliving the memory, feeling that dreading lurch, that vice like chill that froze your blood, sticking to your insides like a paralyzing plague. You saw the mess of blankets when you had rounded the corner, then you finally caught sight of your babygirl.
She lay in a heap on the floor, on her back, screaming in a tiny terror that made you collapse and crawl towards her on your shaky knees. You had gathered her up and looked over her, cozying her to your chest to try and calm her tiny, racing heartbeat. The tears were pouring from your eyes, much like they blur your vision now. You can still see Andy stumbling in, running a hand through shorter hair, pupils dilated, looking at the counter, at the baby, then at you. It didn’t take a genius to realize that your newborn had fallen from his countertop and onto the cold floor.
His own brain had struggled to comprehend, putting a hand up to signal an apology, eyes wide and glazed.
“I didn’t... I only left her up there for a second. Y/N...”
You didn’t care how he had began to tremble, the water pooling in his own vision. It took a near tragic event for him to see that getting high and leaving his newborn daughter alone on a kitchen counter was dangerous? His staff charged in moments later, coming to your aid. You were on autopilot when you handed them the shaky infant. As soon as she was safely out of your arms and they stepped away, you charged at Andy - fists pounding on his chest, hands smacking at every inch you could reach.
“You stupid fucking junkie! You almost killed our baby!”
“I didn’t know, I didn’t mean to! Y/N, I would never do anything to —“
Smack. You had backhanded him so hard that he collided into the edge of the counter by force. You had panted through with a breast - soaked shirt, the baby still fussing in the background. You were eerily strong in your watery voice. You jabbed a finger at him.
“You better fucking leave for your crappy film, because if you don’t I will have you thrown in fucking jail! You need help, but I’m through trying to be the one that gives it to you! And I don’t want your empty apologies, I don’t want your money to help with her, I don’t want anything to do with you! If you attempt to come near me or my child, I will make sure you regret ever meeting me, do you understand, Andy?”
You left him in shambles, taking your baby with you. You’d gotten her looked over and admitted what happened. The press had put together a story and you knew it was inevitable that your business was going to be blasted. You hadn’t cared anymore. You didn’t want your child’s traumatic ordeal as a tabloid headliner, but she also needed to be seen by a doctor after her fall, and you wanted her to be cleared of injury.
Andy’s reputation didn’t matter to you. Once the comments started flooding in, Andy’s team had blowed your phone up - Andy included, attempting to smooth things over. You didn’t want to deal with the exposure that came with his lifestyle, not right then, so you took your baby for some solitude. The baby coos in her sleep, restarting your current predicament. You draw a shape on her tiny cheek, trying to ignoring your buzzing cell phone.
Andy may not know where you are, but that hasn’t stopped him from exploding on your phone for the past six weeks. Each message more desperate and broken than the last. His apologies, his regret, his newfound sobriety shining through. You aren’t having it. Being grateful that he’s sober and forgetting what had to happen for him to be humiliated and forced into it are two very different things. You raise up to tuck the baby into her downstairs crib, scrolling across your recent text message notification thread with her father.
Y/N... you have to have heard that I’ve been clean for a month now. C’mon, please?
I can see Sky, why can’t I see her?
You know how much I care about you too.
I fucked up, sweetheart. Please don’t do this.
I didn’t mean to get you dragged into this motherfucking nightmare...
You can’t take it anymore. Your fingers tap harshly at the phone, pressing send.
“There’s nothing you can do, this is it. This is how it goes.”
The dots of a wavy response begin immediately.
I’m her father! I need to see her, to be with her! I love her, I love
The dots stop and then start themselves, settling on silence. Your heartbeat is thrumming in your throat. You’re not even getting into your feelings for him, or whatever feelings he’s pretending to have for you. You shake it off, giving one of your last responses.
“There’s not a single reason I can think of for me to let you see her. You may be her father, but I’m her everything.”
You don’t pick up your phone to read anything else, but you can’t deny the irritating sting that comes when he doesn’t send another response. That’s cut off, however, when your phone begins to ring. You hold it in your hands, Andy’s picture and name staring back at you from the glowing screen. You direct your focus to the baby and her sweet blonde curls, sound asleep, your eyes dancing back to her daddy on the screen.
“What the fuck am I supposed to do?” You whisper into the silence of the room.
The thunder roars in the distance, your only response.
Angst/Argument Prompts

ooh i forgot to ask you but what did you think about chapter 2??
asdfghjkl i have Feelings™ and i’m making this public to see if other feels the same because rn i feel kinda lonely in my criticisms (anyway doron ily and feel free to dm me if you wanted this to be a private convo asdfghj). that said, i still really loved the movie as a whole, and i feel like it did hit the most important parts of the book in a mostly satisfying way. this answer is gonna be spoiler-heavy so like anyone reading this who doesn’t want spoilers can yeet themselves now.
starting with cons because i like saving the best things for last:
bev’s cycle of abuse storyline NEVER getting fully resolved. in the book tom has a super satisfying death and the movie completely ignored the entire thing. this felt messy/problematic as most abuse survivors will know that abusers tend to track their victims. knowing he’s still out there, if i were bev, would leave me forever nervous.
also bev’s being psychic from the deadlights (???) and saying they’ll all die if they don’t help is a moralistic cop out because it changes their basic motivations from love and goodness and light to just being scared they’re all going to die (meaning they didn’t fully conquer their fear or overcome it because they’d die anyway). (wouldn’t this also mean that richie became psychic after his run-in with the deadlights in the third act?? who knows because it wasn’t fleshed out any further)
eddie’s being used as comic relief. i laughed with everyone else when angel of the morning came on but like where’d it come from, y’all??? if anything paul bunyun should’ve been the comic relief scare.
mike’s parents being crackheads and dying in a fire (i know they did this in the first film too and it pissed me off just as much then). mike and his relationship with his father at his death bed was such a HUGE part of the book for me and they scrapped it completely for a racist trope AND robbed us of a black spot scene and the giant bird
barely anything of stan before he yeeted himself off the board. just like as a jew, i loved how the book handled the antisemitism of derry and the world at large. if handled correctly, it could’ve been super timely and relevant, but nope.
they left out don talking to the cops after adrian
henry bowers’s whole subplot was rushed and honestly could’ve been left out completely if they were just going to do it wrong like that
audra, where tf is audra
ALL THE CGI was laughable- mrs. kersh was honestly ruined for me with that last bit of cgi. it’s something that so easily could’ve been accomplished with practical effects (it’s basically the same makeup they could’ve copied from the bathtub scene in the shining), but this is a problem that’s pretty pervasive in the genre right now that andy falls into way too much
this is kind of a more arguable one, but leaving out the turtle and 'He thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts’
amy adams not being cast over jessica chastain only because i really miss sharp objects and sofia/amy playing the same character
i also wish they’d gone into ben’s whole architect thing more and included how he’d subconsciously replicated part of the derry library in one of his buildings
the ending being so small in scale, like, the book had a bigger scope of the town and i missed that (also IT’s eggs)
i’m sure i have more but that feels like a lot so imma stop there
tldr; i have petty opinions on what they should’ve kept from the book and the look of the cgi
pros!!!
bill hader, BILL HADER, BILL HADER- an actor i’ve loved and believe in since his snl days a decade ago playing a character i’ve always related to and loved from a book i read a decade ago is more than i ever could’ve asked for and he stole the movie #hader2020
the expansion of richie’s sexuality. never explicit in the book, but a wonderfully worthwhile storyline in the film that hader and wolfhard both absolutely kill
THE BIRD PUZZLE !!!!
stan’s death being portrayed the way it was and not being used for shock value in the least!!! and andy bean in general!!!
xavier dolan as adrian was heartbreaking and he made me cry (people have mixed feelings about it being included in the movie but it’s important to recognize that it was based on a true story that largely inspired the book’s themes)
all the eddie x richie content… even 2 months ago i could never see this happening even though i’ve shipped it since i read the book and i’m still in shock tbh. the hammock scene was the cutest fucking thing i’ve ever seen in my entire life and i want it to play on my gravestone.
james ransone was perfect casting and i love him with all my heart, he played it perfectly and somehow made reddie mutual when the script didn’t make it fully clear
the scene transitions were gorgeous and almost made up for the shoddy cgi
STEPHEN KING’S CAMEO bitch give me $300
“ayooo silver away!!” being included
eddie getting stabbed in the face and still criticizing bower’s mullet and people still think he’s straight
 the “here’s johnny” moment
tHE BRIDGE
the turtle in ben’s classroom !!!
richie’s going to temple for stan !!!
benverly endgame!!!
my favorite addition was honestly the pomeranian and richie and eddie fawning over it (dog dads au pls)
i could literally mention every loser’s interaction with each other but this post would get even longer so yeah no
kiss me, fatboy
beep beep richie even if it was only really once
beverly smashing the mirror when ben is being carved up isn’t talked about enough but i loved that moment
the losers not forgetting each other was a welcome change from the book for me personally and i’m glad to see a stephen king adaptation somehow make the ending lighter than the book’s
i feel like most of the pros have been touched on at length on this website so i don’t want to list anymore and end up being repetitive, but i did adore the movie and i think it’s unlikely anyone would’ve made a version that would satisfy me more so i’m really thankful we got what we got.

Wedding Photographers Share Their Favorite Moments
Most photographers have a shot list — a must-capture catalog of photographs that each couple insists they have to remember their wedding day. And yet the unexpected moments are really what everyone hopes for.
“You always look for these rare moments. They don’t always happen, but when they do, it’s magic.”
— Andy Marcus, 70, an owner of Fred Marcus Studios, Manhattan
Mr. Marcus has been capturing wedding moments, sometimes 200 to 300 a year, for more than five decades. “An unexpected moment is a wonderful surprise, it’s unique and organic,” he said. “Everything comes together at once: the lighting, the composition and the visual. It contains emotion but tells a bigger story at the same time. Capturing one for me happens every 100 weddings or so.”
Here are 12 photos from 12 photographers who share their most unexpected moments while explaining what made them so special. There is nothing from a shot list. No step and repeat. No portraits. These are moments that happened when real life got in the way, and someone was there to document the unscripted and unplanned.
“We were looking to take photos in Bryant Park and the bride’s feet began to hurt. Her new husband chivalrously carried her on his back and I knew this would be an iconic moment. The two of them, moving forward in life together while the passers-by go about their day. To me, this photo is quintessential New York.”
— Dave Robbins, Brooklyn
“At this particular wedding this little kid stole the dance floor for about 30 seconds. I pushed through a couple of people to get a close, low angle. I wasn’t prepared for this moment, but fortunately I had on a wide enough lens to capture the whole scene. Besides his awesome moves, there was the varying expressions of the onlookers — everything from delight to disinterested. To me that’s part of what makes the whole shot come together.”
—Eli Turner, Washington
“This couple was pretty stiff all day so when I pulled them out to take some portraits during the reception dinner before the sun went down, I wasn’t expecting a ton of movement. The groom spun his bride and dipped her down toward me. This shot stands out because the moment is so pure and undirected.”
— Clark Brewer, Nashville
“I was able to capture this quiet moment, maybe an hour before the party was over, when the bride stepped away from mingling to be with her dying mother. The wedding was planned in a week because of the bride’s mother’s poor health. I rarely capture photos like this, and I imagine I won’t ever again.”
— Phillip Van Nostrand, Manhattan
“ I was outside about to take my couple off to shoot some portraits when this other bride, who was getting married in another ballroom, popped out to say, ‘Hi. I just wanted to say happy wedding day and tell you, you look so beautiful!’ They had a really nice sisterhood moment, and I grabbed the shot.”
— Julie Lippert, Boston
“This father of the bride was so overcome with emotion upon seeing his daughter as a bride on her wedding day that he leaned over, grabbed a curtain and wiped his tears. The bride laughed out loud and said, ‘Dad, we’re at the Ritz!’ Many fathers try to hold it in, but he was so in the moment. As a photographer, you’re always looking for this.”
—Perry Vaile, Charleston, S.C.
“This was shot in a parking lot while it was snowing. We were crossing from the ceremony to the reception site, in front of the valet booth with cars all around us. It was a cold, stormy, dark night, so we were trying to hurry. I saw the image in my head and asked the bride and groom to hold hands and hold still, then snapped just as a car pulled into my frame. This photo explains their connection and interaction and what the day and their life can be together.”
— Clane Gessel, Manhattan
“ I’m always looking for truthful moments where people are unguarded and the camera is invisible. I hadn’t caught what I was looking for that day, and I didn’t give up on the story yet, so I followed them to the subway and got on the G train with them, because they were going home. I was so focused on how they were body-wise, we were all in this bubble of post-marital bliss and this private display of affection in the midst of this public subway car. ”
— John Dolan, Manhattan
“I was taking my equipment out to do décor shots, and I leaned over the glass ledge to see the room. I was about 100 feet above the floor, and spotted the couple privately rehearsing their first dance and thought, ‘that’s the shot.’ This image tells the whole story: the location, the position of the couple, the lighting, the chemistry, this bird’s eye, voyeuristic angle during an important moment on a special day. If the whale wasn’t hanging above them, it wouldn’t have been the same shot.”
— Brian Marcus, Tenafly, N.J.
“A wedding is an emotional roller coaster. The party is the culmination of that ride, where everyone lets loose and forgets their inhibitions. The party was coming to a close and I noticed this flower girl face-planted and limbs sprawled out on the dance floor. Her gesture reminded me of how I feel at the end of every wedding, so I clicked the shutter. Only afterward did I notice the rainbow confetti and her matching dress, which is what ties this photo together.”
— Sasithon Pooviriyakul, Manhattan
