any thoughts on Anakin flirting?

he’s so bad at it. his tactics are as follows:

1) insult someone until they fuck you out of anger and pride.

2) make them uncomfortable by overdoing luxurious compliments

3) stare. stare really hard. and hope they magically fall in love with you.

he’s not a smooth talker unless he’s comfortable with you, and banter becomes easier. he’s not very funny to the masses, his comedic timing is alright but his jokes are too niche or too broad to appeal to common audiences. a lot of the time his battalion recognizes he’s trying to make a joke and give him a pity laugh or a friendly pat on his shoulder. his radical views are often perceived as dark humor when he was completely serious when saying them. sometimes he backs down and allows you to think they’re a joke, sometimes he doesn’t.

he’s also prone to biden-ing, simply being around someone as much as possible. as much as he can afford. he’ll hang around and wait for you to notice him.

once he’s with you, and he’s locked you down in some capacity, his flirting tactics would morph. he’d favor phrases with dirty double meanings in public circumstances, and talking dirty to you like you aren’t already together.

he’s kind of shit at the beginning parts of a relationship. other than pouring his little weepy heart out to you, there’s not much going for him other than blind hope. it’s after you get together that he shows how good of a partner he can be, and you’d be so happy you got over the painful hump of his dry and clumsy flirting tactics.

I can't stop thinking about cute and curious mershark Kiri, an absolute beast of the ocean but such a cutie pie. He probably sees Y/N maybe just dipping their feet by a pier, or in a cove investigating what there might be and he can't help but get curious.

He's such a sweetheart and just want to ask a few questions but the very mean merman that his best friend is- (JK Katsuki stans) said he would scare you off. So he doesn't approach you- BUT HE REALLY WANTS TO.

So Kiri stays wide eyed, turning more and more lovesick everytime he sees you out on the beach. Maybe he's crazy, maybe he's taken in too much oxygen in his gills but he can't care. So he stays in the ocean making sure you're okay.

Even if it means he'll never meet you

I love my Bakubrat so much but doesn’t stop being jealous and let his bestie talk to the cute human we’re gonna have problems 😤

He probably is just trying to make sure the big dork doesn’t get himself hurt, but he needs to learn he’s not a guppy and can take care of himself.

But, pining Kiri is whole lot of cute. Just big ol’ boy sticking his head out the water to look at you, watching you fish and taking only what you need, how you’re so gentle with wild life. He heard you laughing once and it was so pretty, he’s pretty sure he’s never heard anything prettier before. And the way those weird extra limbs humans have, just sorta folded up a little closer to you? It was so strange but so fascinating to him.

Sometimes he thinks maybe Bakugou is wrong about you, after all his best friend wasn’t exactly a stranger to humans and their odd bodies, he has plenty of stories that would make even the elders flustered if they heard them; but he gets a little closer and is always struck with how much smaller than himself you are. He knows humans can be so skittish sometimes, and with your differences he thinks you’d probably find him scary after all.

Kinda sad though, and maybe a little funny. Being as large as he is and frequently breaching just to see, you’d think he’d figure out you’ve long since spotted him. Maybe you should approach him if he’s gonna be too shy to do it?

ohh that’s hard, it changes so often I feel like, and it’s kinda hard to answer since the one true relationship I was in was semi long distance so not like a typical relationship.
