i hc that ram and zen "created" discord together. zen's discord orb could be the original, technically nonlethal version (bc it's just a debuff) and ram's abilities and weapon could be a more advanced version of it that he further developed after he left the monastery. also i hc the damage on zen's face (you can see it on his ow2 model and in his invasion cutscene) is a scar from the time when ram "nearly got him killed" that was mentioned is his short story

Part of Tila's story is inspired by the legends of Baba Jaga and old believes about Czart and goats, there are also Drzewce, Diabeł Iskrzycki, Zagacz and some more.

Tilia was a beautiful child, and now he hates being beautiful. It has never brought him anything good in his life. That's why he was happy when he got a scar on his face, that's why he never smiles nicely, wears strange jewelry and doesn't play, sing beautiful songs

A chort (Russian: чёрт, Belarusian and Ukrainian: чорт, Serbo-Croatian čort or črt, Polish: czort and czart, Czech and Slovak: čert, Slovene: črt) is an anthropomorphic malign spirit or demon[1][2] in Slavic folk tradition. Chorts are often depicted identically to Christian devils, with horns, hooves, and a skinny tail.[citation needed] In Slavic mythology, a singular Chort is sometimes identified as a son of the god Chernobog and the goddess Mara.[3][page needed] In folk Christianity, they are considered lesser minions of Satan

Compare to Russian sayings (curses) "тысяча чертей" ("tysjača čertej") – meaning thousands of demons; "чёрт побери" ("čort poberi") – meaning "be taken by the demon" (often used as an exclamation to express frustration or pain as in English "darn!", "rats!", "shit!", etc), the saying is often used as an acceptable version of cursing in Eastern Europe; "чёрт попутал" ("čort poputal") – meaning mixed up by the demon; "к чертям" ("k čertjam") – meaning to hell, and many others.

Is there any figure in Polish folklore that could be an eguivalent of Krampus?

There’s no direct equivalent, but there’s a lot of similar figures and customs to talk about!

First to mention might be the archaic concepts of czort / czart (in English often spelled chort) and bies that frequently appear in our folklore.

Then, we have lots of interesting figures accompanying the annual carolers. There are straigh-up devil costumes too (in the old times they would be more often called by the name of czort), but also other horned creatures that might be interesting in the context of Krampus, such as the turoń, or masks called straightforwardly a koza (goat).

All these horned creatures were most often appearing in rituals of ‘scaring off’ the winter, merged with the custom of kolędowanie (caroling) aka koleda/koliada, usually around the carnival season.

Here, what might be important, I want to mention a name of old Slavic winter holiday- Koročun or Kračun, worth to analyze here as well.

Similar horned figures appear in most regions of Europe, particularly in the context of scaring the winter away.

Other examples could be the Croatian Zvončari, the Hungarian Busos, the Slovenian custom of Kurentovanje, some horned masks of Bulgarian Kukeri, some horned Serbian masks of the koledari for Bele Poklade, horned masks worn in Romania for colinda, goat masks worn for Finnish Nuuttipukki or Swedish Julebukk, and so on, and so on.

(these are only a few customs I remembered at the moment, do you know other? would love to collect more for reference)
