Lore Time! THE Hacker had a crush on Pixellis, bu she only sas him as a friend/partner. Her marrying Coop was just another of many factors into his turn to evil. After Coop disappears THE Hacker says he will save their failing shop...IF. And only IF! Pix chooses him.

She says no so he did what any normal person would do: KIDNAPPING! Do not fret the Cyber squad rescues but not before she has to go through THE most awful singing imaginable!

Cyberweek Day 7: OC

To end cyberweek here's some tidbits about my self insert pix + selfship lore

Even though he only appeared literally THREE TIMES the whole 22 years, I still ship myself with him. I think he's cool and has a potential to be a recurring ally to the squad. Also I'm a sucker for normal laidback guy x powerful magic woman trope

Technically Coop isn't an oc but there's so much we don't know about his life, I had to make one up. After his return, Coop starts working HQ as the repair guy/mission control. One potential redesign has him look older due to the magnetite. Since he had been infected for so long and so intensely, some of the damage is permanent. That won't keep him from staying off the rails!

Coop was a child prodigy in both inventing and extreme sports, but became a small time mechanic because he didn't care much for the spotlight.

He and Pix met she was assigned a mission in Radopolis where Coop and Hacker were working on an Top Secret project for Motherboard. She was disguised as a Radster, that coop quickly deduced that she was a poser.

Coop was a single father at the time. He had broken up woth a girlfriend from a previous relationship and had full custody of Slider. Pix absolutely fell in love with the boy, he was adorable and was just as passionate about life and skating as his father. She felt bad Coop had all this responsibility, so she often visited them to help around the shop or watch over Slider. Over time Pix grew to be a regular fixture at the shop. Eventually Coop started to enjoy her presence, and one night asked her out on a date.

Pix was nervous but was convinced by her friend to give it a shot. She loved it. Coop had this calming presence that made the night bearable. He wasn't judgemental, and even nervous himself. After a few more dates they made their relationship official but kept it on the down low.

Until Hacker found out...and Oooh. He was PISSED! He had wanted to ask Pix out FIRST!

After Coop's disappearance Pix took over his duties as store owner. She wanted to know the real reason behind his disappearance. She suspected Hacker to be the one behind it but wasn't for sure. She missed coop terribly, so much she lost her taste for skating and magic. It wasn't until meeting the kids she gradually regained her sense of peace. Pix began to play old rock songs Coop gifted her with, and always made sure to pay the bills. The shop was all she had.

Until Slider found the letter inside the picture frame. Pix read and and realized Coop left to protect them. Now he was in danger, time to return the favor.

They did find Coop, but their fight wasn't over as there was still Mecha Hacker to defeat. Luckily with leftover energy from the Transformatron and sheer love for Coop, her family and friends Pix evolved to a bigger form and took Hacker straight on!

Hacker had a huge crush on Pix, in fact her choosing Coop over him was one factor into his turn to evil. But she hates him now. She used to see him as a friend, if a bit weird, so she was disappointed to discover his true nature as a selfish butthole.

Even 22 years later, Hacker still thinks he has a chance XD

Coop was raised by a single mother by the name of Rosie. She was as handy with a wrench and a screwdriver as they came but struggled financially in life.

Wanting a child of her own, Rosie decided to parent solo and saved up her money to commission one. Coop was booted up at age 4 on Radopolis, and the pair were pretty inseparable. Rosie was an upbeat borg with workaholic tendencies. She and Coop lived in a small apartment on the far side of Radopolis, Rosie working full time to make ends meet.

Rosie was well known across Cyberspace for being able to fix just about anything, and would service many wealthy clients from their ships to their kitchen sinks. Coop going from a toddler on her hip to her young apprentice. However, despite working for the upperclass, Rosie was not rich by any means. She and Coop would go to the trash site Discardia and pick through the trash for hours trying to find usable pieces and materials.

Coop didn't mind this in the slightest and found it fun, a mix of trash from Earth and Cyberspace catching his interest. This also inspired his hiding spot when he had to flee Radopolis, knowing he could hide there unbothered as well as not risk harm to any other borgs. When he was seven years old, Rosie saved up and bought him a screwdriver with a bright red casing, which he gave to Slider later in life, who now carries it on his person at all times.

She and Coop lived on Radopolis, and Rosie was delighted when Coop embraced his roots and started skating more. He became best friends with a classmate named Dudacus, and the pair were highly competitive on tricks and the fastest times. The two later grew apart as Coop went off to university, and Dudacus started focusing and training more on his upcoming reign as King.

Rosie unfortunately did not live long enough to see Coop graduate, powering down a few weeks beforehand. Coop was devastated and threw himself into his work and plans with his new partner he'd met in College, Hacker. It always hurt Coop that Slider never got to meet his grandmother, but he made up for it by telling Slider endless stories about her and giving him the screwdriver.

Pixi is the cybersquad's senior member. In the past she worked for Motherboard as a agent, now she runs a repair shop alongside her son Slider. Her main skill is Magical Defense. With the power of the TransformaTron she can turn into a powerful Cyber-Fairy!

Alongside math & science, Pixi's favorite things are drawing, swimming, and collecting spare change (she puts her swimming to good use in public fountains).

Refs of Pixelle's outfits

Given how colorful and bright Cyberchase is I want Pix to fit right in! Some of her outfits are what she wears running the shop. Yes even if it's working with greasy old cars she still wants to look professional by Radopolis standards 😆

Then theres her clothes whenever she goes on missions: athletic, colorful and suitable for PBS! I figured instead of having naturally blue hair her hair is a dark brown. It turns blue when she goes into Agent mode. The last outfit is what she'd look like after going through the Transformatron. I want to really emphasis that she is not an earthling, so extra material like cybernatic parts and cyber wings (not on the picrew). Since Cyberchase is set inside a computer world i thought it be fun to base her palette on CYMK, with a touch of green for digits.

Honestly I'm really loving Pix. She's starting to feel like she could actually be a character from the show. Now I'm itchin' to work on her backstory. Picrew below

Pix was envisioned as a "Good" counterpart to Wicked, being a fairy as opposed to the latter being, well a witch. I didn't notice until yesterday that they have opposite color schemes!

Their differences are also reflected in the kind of relationships they have. Pix and Coop love each other, they made sacrifices for each other and got to know each other as people. On the other hand, Hacker and Wicked have no qualms working against each other. They only like each other based on superficial traits, and willing to leave The other in the dust if things get tough.

Physical Appearance: Pixie is a brown skinned woman with pink hair and brown eyes. She looks like a regular human. Her agent attire consists of a blue catsuit, matching boots and gloves. Her casual outfit is a blue and white striped shirt and cyan cargo pants.

Cyber Fairy: Rainbow costume with lilac trim and light blue wings. Her hair also changes to Cyan

Powers/Abilities: Pixie is athletic and able to perform flips and hand to hand moves. She is also a master of disguise, proficient math skills and photographic memory.

Transformatron: Using the power of this machine she transforms into a Cyber Fairy and fights Hacker. She gains the ability to summon force fields, flight, and healing wave. However this is only temporary and she is restored back to normal after defeating Hacker.

Background: As a young borg she found work under Motherboard as an agent, going from site to site to make sure they were running correctly. It was during one of these trips she met Coop during a trip to Radopolis for an assignment. According to her she was impressed by his skateboarding skills. Soon she found out that Coop is the assignment; he was an inventor alongside his business partner Hacker. After the completion Pixie would make regular visits back to Radopolis. What started as casual friendship turned into deep romantic attraction.

Marriage/Family: Some years later Coop and Pixie got married and settled in Radopolis. As Pixie was still working for Motherboard with a baby on a way she opted to retire and let a new agent take her place. While they often struggled with the shop, the small family managed to stay afloat and be content with their lives. Until a jealous Hacker got in the way.

When Slider was a little over 10, Coop suddenly disappeared. Pixie went though resources to try to find her husband to no avail. He did leave her clues, but they went nowhere; Heartbroken Pixie was about to give up until ome day she received a note from a stranger. Her husband was still alive but SOMETHING happened to him and he refuses to make real contact as to protect her and Slider. This news At a time when Hacker began his reign of terror throughout the universe, made Pixie realize that he had did something to Coop. But she couldn't fight him on her own. So she waited in secret, continuing om with taking care of Slider and running Coop's shop. Then a trio of children from another world came into her life..

Personality: Pixie is an kind and caring who has a thirst for adventure. In her youth she was spunky and even rebellious, though greatly mellowed out after having Slider. While she can be doting she's over a bit smothering. Pixie feels regrets for not doing enough to stand up to Hacker and she expressed caution over letting children fight their battles. She has no issue with PDA - as the kids and Digit learned the hard way. Pixie has a thing for snark, especially at Hacker's expense. She seems to empathize with Buzz and Delete, so she stealthy attempts to get them to quit Hacker for good.

Pixie is one of my few OCs/SIs who are explicitly a parent

She was made so that an adult character can watch over the kids so like a guide&mentor

She and Wicked were friends once

Hacker had a crush on her: he often visited her shop to coerce her into a date following Coop's disappearance. He only views bagging her as one final jab against Coop.

Additionally Wicked broke things off bc she thought Pixie was trying to steal Hacker away from her. Things only get cleared up after Pixie stated that the feeling is NOT mutual.

Coop proposed to her in Creech's site; their honeymoon was in Sensible Flats

Coop decided on Slider's name; which means in vase they have another kid she'll get to name them this time

Pixie does not have a voice claim

Her favorite math subject is Pythagorean Theorems; her least favorite is Division

Her favorite food is pancakes and her favorite movie is Pretty Woman

Her natural hair is wavy/curly though she often straightens it. It poofs back up in humid/watery environments

Dr Marbles was her grade school teacher and closest father figure

She refers to the Cybersquad as her babies
